Sweets shop attached to the Sanrio store in Tokyo Dome City. When my family visited the Unko Museum, my daughter was drawn to this shop nearby and ended up buying various items. The shop is connected to the cute Sanrio store, with a few counter seats for eating in the back. The staff were friendly, and it wasn't crowded when we visited just before 11 am on the third day of the new year. They sell crispy buns, donuts, and soft serve ice cream. We tried the crispy buns and the donuts, which were both delicious. The crispy buns were fluffy and chewy, not too sweet, and we ended up fighting over them. The donuts were light and had a crispy chocolate coating. Overall, the sweets were not only cute but also surprisingly tasty. I would recommend them even to those who are not Sanrio fans.

Even as teenagers, my sons still love the crispy grilled dishes here. Unfortunately, you can't mix Kitty-chan and Gudetama toppings, but our family loves them both so we order one of each plus a little extra. The Kitty-chan on top of the soft serve ice cream is also adorable. If you spend over 2000 yen, you'll also receive a cute clip as a bonus! ♡

<About the Store> Opened on April 19, 2012, this is a concept store directly managed by Sanrio. The first store opened at Haneda Airport International Passenger Terminal in October 2010. This store is the third to open following the Chitose Airport store that opened in July 2011. It underwent a full renovation on October 1, 2016, doubling in size (from 38 to 70 square meters) and adding an eat-in corner. This store is the only one that sells character sweets like "Hello Kitty's crispy baked goods." <Products> - Hello Kitty's Crispy Baked Goods (S size) ... 400 yen tax included Baby castella in the shape of Hello Kitty. They are not sold separately, and you can choose from: - S size (10 pieces) ... 400 yen - M size (15 pieces) ... 600 yen - L size (20 pieces) ... 800 yen However, regardless of the size chosen, each piece costs 40 yen, so buying more does not necessarily mean it's cheaper. There are four flavors available: plain, chocolate flakes, red bean paste, and custard, and you can mix and match. I ordered a bag of 10 S size pieces with 5 plain and 5 red bean paste. They asked if I wanted them in one bag or separated by flavor, and I chose to separate them. They mentioned they would put a blue sticker on the bag with the specific flavor, but I forgot which was which and ended up tasting them to confirm. The plain and red bean paste Hello Kitty castella were evenly tanned, resembling a Hello Kitty who had visited a tanning salon. They had a hole in the nose and looked quite realistic. The backside was also well detailed, with a round tail attached. The plain one had no filling, just sweet and fluffy dough, making it delicious even without filling. The red bean paste one had red bean paste filling in the belly, making it a convenient snack for when you're feeling peckish.

There were foreigners lining up, so I ended up lining up too and bought some. I got a box of 20 with custard, plain, red bean, and chocolate flavors. I brought them home and ate them with my family. It was nice to be able to choose our favorite flavors from the 20-piece box. It was nostalgic... it's like a Hello Kitty version of taiyaki. They also offer to put soft serve ice cream on top.

Too cute! The specialty here is the crispy baked treats! You can choose from plain, custard, or chocolate flavors, and create your favorite combination. The freshly baked ones are the most delicious. You can even watch them being made at the storefront. Customers were exclaiming "So cute!" Don't forget to try the "guttatama" too, it's hilarious. They also offer boxed sets which make great souvenirs. A set of 10 crispy baked treats is only 400 yen, very affordable. You can even pair it with a drink for just one coin! The fluffy texture and subtle sweetness make it a delightful treat. Highly recommended!

On the way to the diversity food court, I felt embarrassed to buy Kitty-chan's crispy baked goods as an old man. But, the yellow one next to it... I really want the Gudetama one! I mustered up the courage and asked the staff for 10 Gudetama ones, mixed with two flavors. The staff even made international-themed comments on the packaging. The taste was just as I imagined, a fun treat to enjoy.

On this day, I attended an event at Tokyo Big Sight. In the afternoon, we moved to Odaiba at my father's request. For a snack, we bought a Gudetama crispy baked plain 10P (tax included 400 yen) at this shop and decided to share it with my family. Gudetama's crispy baked goods are in the shape of Sanrio's popular character Gudetama. The illustration on the paper bag is quite cute. The dough has a chewy texture. It has a gentle, not too sweet taste and was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I happened to pass by and fell in love at first sight. After hesitating for a while, I made a U-turn and went to the store to buy it. It's still cute♡ The price was cheaper than I expected, which made me happy. You can choose from four different flavors, and I chose custard and chocolate flakes! When I received the bag, it was still warm! There is also seating inside, so it's good for a little break. The Starbucks across the street had a long line, but this place was empty♡ The taste is similar to dorayaki, fluffy and sweet like castella. I got a bit tired of the 15 pieces by myself though! The filling is quite minimal, so I thought maybe plain would be okay too. This is a cute snack that I would definitely want to buy again when I come here.

Get off at Tokyo Teleport Station on the Rinkai Line. When you come out to the ground and look around, you will find the complex commercial facility "DiverCity Tokyo Plaza". You can also reach it from Odaiba Station on the Yurikamome Line, but it is closer from Tokyo Teleport Station. Go up the escalator at the front entrance of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza and walk a little to the left, you will find a Sanrio gift shop mainly featuring Hello Kitty. On the left side of the store, they sell "Konngariyaki", a sweet treat in the shape of Hello Kitty. The store was renovated on October 1, 2016, with an increase in "Gudetama Konngariyaki", and they added sweets like Hello Kitty curry rice and Sanrio character mugs. They also set up an eat-in area. Due to this, the goods sales area has been reduced. In April 2012, around 6 pm on a weekday, I ordered a 10-piece set of Konngariyaki (including 5% consumption tax). The price was 420 yen including tax. The Konngariyaki is shaped like Hello Kitty, but it's not as crispy as the name suggests. You can choose from three flavors: plain, chocolate flake, and cheese cream. If you wish, they will put each flavor in separate plastic bags for you. However, I think it's more fun to eat them all together with everyone, adding a Russian roulette element. But you can tell the chocolate flavor by looking at the back of Hello Kitty. Plain: you can enjoy the taste of the dough without anything inside, a flavor that everyone can enjoy. In fact, they even sell soft serve ice cream with Konngariyaki. Chocolate: you can enjoy the crispy texture of the flakes for a moment. Cheese: it's quite salty, so some people may like it and some may not. In November 2016, around 3 pm on a holiday, I visited the store again after its renovation. Now, besides Kitty, you can also enjoy other food items. I couldn't resist something that caught my eye at the Konngariyaki counter, so I bought it to avoid regret later (including 8% consumption tax). I ordered a 10-piece set of Gudetama Konngariyaki for 400 yen including tax. There were only two flavors available: plain and chocolate flake. So, I decided to get 5 pieces of each flavor for a total of 10 pieces to take home. The paper bag with the Gudetama design is cute. Both the plain and chocolate flake Konngariyaki had the same impression as the Hello Kitty ones mentioned earlier. I felt that the plain one had a moist and chewy texture.

Visited the Hello Kitty shop in DiverCity and bought freshly baked Hello Kitty shaped cakes. They were sold in packs of 10 for ¥400. There were 4 flavors available: chocolate, custard, plain, and red bean paste. I chose to have 2 plain and red bean paste, and 3 chocolate and custard each. The plain one was just a regular cake and tasted good. It was fun to try different flavors in small quantities. I especially recommend the chocolate flavor, as it had chocolate chips inside which made it crispy and rich. The cakes were cute and delicious, and it was a unique experience to enjoy them. If you ever visit DiverCity, I recommend trying these cakes at least once. Thank you for the meal!

There is a Hello Kitty goods store in DiverCity Tokyo in Odaiba. They mainly sell Hello Kitty items, but they also have Gudetama and other character goods. I couldn't resist buying some baby castella cakes. They offer 15 for 600 yen and 20 for 800 yen. Flavors include chocolate flakes, red bean paste, custard, and plain, and you can mix and match. I chose a mix of custard and plain. I also bought 10 Hello Kitty figures. The castella itself was not very sweet, similar to a typical night market castella. The taste was okay. It's convenient and cute, so it's not bad. Thank you for the meal ☆3.5

While wandering around, I stumbled upon a Hello Kitty merchandise store. As I was browsing, the staff offered me a sample and asked, "How about a taste?" I was hesitant at first, but decided to try it out. I ended up trying the matcha cream flavor, which had a nice subtle taste. Intrigued by the cuteness of the treats, I decided to purchase a box of 10 assorted cookies for 400 yen. I chose to include the remaining three flavors - plain, chocolate flakes, and custard. The plain cookie was subtly sweet with a fine texture, while the chocolate flakes had a slightly bitter taste with a crunchy texture. I personally enjoyed the chocolate flakes the most. The cookies, shaped like Hello Kitty, were long and slender, making them easy for children to eat. They would make a great souvenir due to their cute appearance.

I, a Hello Kitty fan, couldn't help but stop at the Kitty Kon Gari Yaki shop inside Hello Kitty Japan on the 2nd floor of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza. They offer four flavors: plain, custard, chocolate flake, and matcha cream. The bite-sized Kitty Kon Gari Yaki treats are adorable and delicious. I chose the matcha flavor, which was fluffy, soft, and oh-so-tasty. The treat was topped with a cute Kitty design. They also offer soft serve ice cream in milk, matcha, and mixed flavors, with the option of a cone or cup. I was so excited by how cute and delicious everything was that I can't wait to visit again.

This is a shop that Kitty-chan fans will love♪ They have taiyaki in the shape of Kitty-chan! It's so cute that I couldn't bring myself to eat it (lol). Since it's for takeout, I decided not to buy it this time. When you order the rich soft serve, it comes with a Kitty-chan on top, but the Kitty-chan was a bit off... not as cute as I expected (crying). However, the ice cream was really rich and delicious♡ The only downside was that there was no space to eat, so I had to eat it while walking around or go to a food area quite far away. There was also a Kitty-chan shop next door, which got me really excited♪

Diversity Tokyo, a corner of the Hello Kitty souvenir shop "Hello Kitty Japan". Popular not only in Japan but also among LA celebrities, these are Hello Kitty doll cakes. They are small and more like baby castella rather than doll cakes. There are four flavors inside: plain, custard, cheese, and chocolate. 10 pieces for ¥400, 15 pieces for ¥600, 20 pieces for ¥800. The staff can mix them for you if you ask. After having tea at Antie Ants, I bought a 10-piece assorted pack. The staff members have smiles as cute as Hello Kitty's. Even though they are so small, each one has a clear face. As for the taste... Don't underestimate them just by their appearance, they are not particularly rich, but they are filled with cream in such a small body. They have a soft sweetness and a chewy texture. You could eat as many as you want as a snack. They put them in a cute shop bag with a Japanese design, so it would make a great souvenir. Just for a moment when eating, I felt like saying "I'm sorry" to such a cute thing for eating it.
