Yasubee Tsukemen. This is my second visit to the Akihabara branch. The location is great, right in front of the JR station, so it's very accessible. It's no wonder there are always many customers. Of course, the key to attracting customers is the delicious taste and generous portion size. I ordered the Spicy Tsukemen - Large (860 yen) from the ticket machine. The noodles weigh 440g and are served at the counter. The staff took my ticket and I waited for about 7-8 minutes before it was ready. The Large size definitely has a lot of volume. The default taste is smooth with a nice level of spiciness in the dipping sauce. The thick noodles are smooth and go well with the sauce. The umami from the seafood base is wonderful. The diced chashu is delicious, with a nice chewiness and full of flavor. I added some toppings from the table like diced onions, bonito flakes, and pepper. These enhanced the flavor even more. Lastly, I tried the soup refill which was warm and satisfying. Being able to customize the taste with toppings like bonito flakes and diced onions is a unique feature of Yasubee. I was very satisfied with the meal. Thank you for the feast.

A 1.2-minute walk from Akihabara Station! Tsukemen restaurant "Yasubee"!! Arrived at the store around 18:40 on a weekday. The inside of the store was full and there were 4 people waiting! Waited for about 3.4 minutes to purchase a meal ticket! Ordered a large serving of miso tsukemen 440g!! Priced at 1,020 yen, the regular and large servings are the same price. Added a flavored egg too!! Waited for about 5.6 minutes for the meal to arrive! The volume was exciting!! First, the soup! The soup was light and watery...hmm, something seems to be missing?! And the warm...noodles! The thick noodles had a smooth and chewy texture but...they were warm...even after adding the table onions and free garlic toppings, the meal was enjoyed deliciously with a satisfying volume! Thank you very much!

Visited the store on Sunday at 3:00 PM. There were 3 people waiting ahead of us. I had tried Yasubei in Shibuya a few years ago and it was delicious, so I decided to visit the Akihabara branch. However, it was disappointing. First of all, we were seated and our tsukemen arrived in about 2 minutes, which was surprising. I thought they must have started boiling the noodles at the perfect timing, but when I tasted the noodles, they lacked chewiness and broke apart easily. It felt like they were pre-boiled. The soup was also not as hot as expected, despite being warned to be careful because it was hot. The soup was thin and tasty though. My wife ordered a small portion while I ordered a regular portion, but the amount of soup was the same for both. When we asked for soup refills, we were given a small bowl of soup, but since the small portion hadn't consumed much soup, the refill wasn't enough. I think it would be better if the staff poured the refill from the remaining soup in the bowl. Lastly, I noticed other customers were leaving their dishes on the counter, but the staff standing right there didn't say anything, which was disappointing. Maybe they have stopped providing traditional Japanese service due to the many foreigners visiting. I plan to visit the Yasubei in Shibuya next time to see if it matches the quality of the Akihabara branch.

Late at night, I was very hungry and decided to order delivery. I went for the extra-large noodles since it was free, without hesitation. I mixed in the included broth and enjoyed the miso dipping noodles, which were pretty standard but satisfying even without extra toppings. I wonder if it would taste even better if I dined in at the restaurant on a day when I have more energy. Today is a cheat day, so I'm grateful for the delivery service. The noodles had a nice chew to them and were delicious. I wish I could add extra minced meat next time. It was spicy even though it wasn't spicy miso, but it was tasty.

After drinking alcohol, I always crave ramen (tsukemen) no matter what, why is that? So, I visited the restaurant right in the middle of the weekday around 7:30 pm. It's right by the station, but I passed by it on my first try (probably because I was drunk). The restaurant is downstairs, and next door seemed more noticeable! Inside, there are only counter seats, with 2 groups of 3 waiting customers, but I was seated shortly after buying my meal ticket. The staff is not intimidating, and they are attentive, making it a comfortable atmosphere, which I appreciate. I ordered the small size tsukemen for 920 yen (the button in the top left corner of the ticket machine). It was around 180g! Although the noodle texture was not particularly firm, it paired well with the soup. The soup had a strong umami flavor and a slight sweetness. It was simply delicious. The customer next to me ordered the large size, and it looked impressive! I couldn't finish it even if I was hungry... but it must feel great to conquer it. I finished every last drop of the soup, it was so delicious! Even though I was full, I felt happy and warm. Personally, I recommend swirling some vinegar in it. Thank you for the meal ^^

I had been thinking of going to this restaurant for a while. It's a place I could go anytime, so I hadn't gone yet, but there was no line this time so I impulsively decided to go. I hadn't had it in a while, so I ordered the miso tsukemen. The large portion was the same price as the regular... I usually end up getting the large, but this time I resisted and got the regular! Lately, there are a lot of fishy thick soups out there, but I prefer a light and tangy soup, with chewy thick noodles! That's when I thought this place would be perfect (,,> <,,) On the way back, there was a line on the narrow stairs... I felt lucky. Soup ☆☆☆★★ Noodles ☆☆☆★★ Flavor ☆☆☆★★ Meat ☆☆☆★★ Thank you for the meal! ✧︎*。

I love tsukemen noodles and have tried various places, but this one is by far the best. It is a pioneer in the recent tsukemen boom. The thick, chewy noodles pair perfectly with the soup. The taste is so good that you'll want to eat it every day.

It's been more than 5 years since I last had Tsukemen Yasee. I remember the last time was in East Ikebukuro, where I used to work around that area. This time, after watching a baseball game at the dome, I decided to come here. I tried the spicy Tsukemen and it was delicious. It wasn't too spicy, and the dipping sauce was light and creamy. I once again realized how tasty the noodles at Yasee are. If you prefer a lightly spicy option, I highly recommend their Tsukemen.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and there were about 6 people waiting, but we were able to be seated in about 10 minutes. The staff efficiently managed the customers. I tried the recommended medium-sized tsukemen and it was delicious without any strong flavors. I would definitely like to visit again if I have the chance.

I had a regular size tsukemen for lunch on Saturday. There were about 4 people waiting in line when I visited. The restaurant is quite small and located underground, so we had to wait on the stairs. However, the staff guided us well from lining up to purchasing the meal ticket without any stress. The tsukemen was very delicious, and I tried adding bonito flakes and onions from the condiments on the table in the middle of the meal, which turned out to be a perfect match and allowed me to enjoy various flavors. They also have miso tsukemen and spicy tsukemen, so I would definitely like to revisit this place.

Miso dipping noodles (large). It seems they are quite particular about the noodles. When I tried the noodles alone, they were smooth and chewy. I didn't taste much wheat flavor or aroma. The noodles were a bit lukewarm, so I wish they had been rinsed with colder water to firm them up a bit more, but it was a really hot day so it might be understandable. The soup had a slightly spicy miso flavor. The rich soup paired really well with the vegetables and noodles inside. The sesame seeds added a nice touch. There was fish powder on the table. I decided to sprinkle some on top, and surprisingly, it went well with the miso. It was delicious.

It seems like it could become a habit... A popular restaurant that lives up to its reputation. I entered around 11:30 on a weekday. It's conveniently located about 2 minutes from Akihabara, although it's a bit hard to find underground. It was already full... with over 95% men (there were none when I entered). I didn't mind and went in. (I'm focusing on exploring different types of noodles for lunch, trying something new every day of the week.) I bought my meal from the ticket machine under the stairs and took a seat. The regular, medium, and large portions of noodles are all the same price. Small portions come with free toppings. Spiciness is also free. It only took about 5 minutes for my meal to arrive. The noodles were thick and chewy. But surprisingly, they didn't feel heavy... somehow, from the first bite, it felt like it could become a habit.

The thick noodles have a satisfying taste and volume. The amount of noodles ranges from 180 grams to 440 grams, all for the same price, making it a great choice for those who want to eat a lot. The special plate toppings come with water dumplings and vegetables, which pair well with the dipping sauce.

I visited around 10 PM on a regular day. There were only about 3 people waiting in line, which was less than I expected. This place is my number one favorite for tsukemen, and has been for the past 10 years! The tsukemen was delicious as always. I always make sure to visit here to confirm that it is still the best tsukemen place.

It has been 8 years since I last visited Yasubei in Shibuya. I went on a weekday before 8 pm. I waited for about 5 minutes on the stairs to B1 before entering. The B1 floor was surprisingly small. I ordered the large serving of tsukemen for 920 yen and added crushed raw garlic for free. It arrived in about 10 minutes. The thick yellow noodles were delicious and the large serving of 440g seemed easy to finish. The soup was light, sweet, and had a unique taste that wasn't bad. The noodles were very enjoyable. The toppings included a small amount of menma and chashu, which was a bit disappointing. I enjoyed adding onion, bonito flakes, and garlic from the table to customize the flavor as I ate. I finished it quickly and didn't see any option for soup refills. The restaurant seemed busy with many foreign customers. The price has increased by 160 yen since 8 years ago and by 200 yen since 10 years ago. The taste seemed to remain unchanged from 10 years ago.

I went around 3:00 PM and there was a line, which made me more excited. The tsukemen did not disappoint! I was happy that you could choose the amount of noodles. I ordered the medium size, 330 grams. I thought it might be too much, but I finished it all easily because the soup was light. However, ordering was a bit confusing. It seemed like there was a free service, but I didn't notice it.

Visited on a holiday night after sauna, feeling very hungry and went to my favorite Yasubei. As usual, I ordered the miso tsukemen. The noodles come in regular or large size for the same price, but this time I went for the large size. It was delicious as always. This place really is the best for tsukemen. They used to offer a service where they would reheat the soup if it got cold, but on this day they refused to do so. Oh well, it can't be helped, but it was a little embarrassing.

I was invited by a friend to have lunch at a ramen restaurant. We were lucky to get in just as the line cleared up. There was a long line again behind us, all the way up the stairs. It's still as popular as ever. Since I had to go back to desk work after lunch, I didn't want to eat too much, so I ordered the regular size without any toppings. I chose the normal tsukemen with cold dipping sauce because it's getting hot outside. As expected, the normal tsukemen was delicious! I like to add a lot of onions after taking a few bites. I feel like the sweetness of the dipping sauce stands out more with the onions. Even though I ordered the regular size, I was satisfied with the portion. It made me realize that I was being too greedy with the medium size last time. But when something is delicious, you just want to eat more, right? (;´∀`) Thank you for the meal.

A ramen restaurant located just south of Akihabara Electric Town Exit. It's a bit hard to find as it's underground. After opening the glass door and descending a narrow staircase, you'll find a ticket machine where you can purchase your meal ticket. I opted for the regular size, which is 220g. The ramen is made by a long-established noodle maker with 70 years of history, and it's deliciously smooth and chewy. The dipping sauce has a light acidity and sweetness that complements the noodles well, although it's not very hot. The regular toppings include sliced chashu, bamboo shoots, green onions, and seaweed, giving it a simple yet satisfying taste. I sprinkled bonito flakes on the noodles and added chopped onions to the dipping sauce halfway through, which added a dashi-like umami flavor and a refreshing touch from the onions. Overall, I wish there were more noodles and adding extra chashu would enhance the satisfaction level.
