The other day, when I visited Ariake Garden, I found out that Umami Burger was set up there and I had been wanting to try it someday. On the last day of the long weekend, I realized that I hadn't taken the kids anywhere yet, so I decided to take them to Ariake Garden for lunch and try Umami Burger. It was located on the 4th floor of Ariake Garden, towards the end, which made it a bit hard to find from the parking lot, but the view was really nice. There were quite a few types of burgers on the menu, but we all decided to go with the Umami Burger. I knew it was a bit pricey, but ordering for three people added up to quite a bill... We waited with anticipation, and when our buzzer went off, we were greeted with a large gourmet burger sandwiched between a large diamond-shaped paper. It was a voluminous burger with a good height, making it a bit challenging to eat, but the taste was definitely delicious. I thought the buns would be harder, but they were actually very soft, complemented by the patty, ketchup sauce, caramelized onions, crispy cheese, and a mushroom sauce, all coming together to create a tasty combination. The portion size was generous, and I felt quite satisfied after finishing one. The fries were thinner than McDonald's, with a crispy texture that paired well with ketchup. It was priced similarly to some of the higher-end ramen places these days, but I was impressed by how a burger could be a well-crafted food item.
