I visited "Takeichi @ Akihabara Store" located in the direction of the electric town from Akihabara Station. Takeichi is a favorite store of mine, and I have visited the store in Shinbashi quite often. This was my first visit to the Akihabara store. There were 5 customers ahead of me at 3:00 PM. They have a ticket vending machine for ordering, and it seems a bit expensive. After trying various types at the Shinbashi store and falling in love with it, I decided to order the following:
- Rich Chicken Paitan Tsukemen (Salt) ¥850 for regular size. The large size was also the same price, but I chose the regular size.
While waiting, I checked out the surroundings. I was seated at a high counter, which was quite uncomfortable. There were also lower counters available, which seemed more peaceful. The counter had a description of the store written on it. It mentioned that the members had run a ramen shop in Aoyama for 10 years, a yakitori restaurant in Akasaka for 7 years, and then opened this store in Shinbashi in 2012. The staff consisted of 4 people, which seemed like a lot for the capacity of the store.
The tsukemen arrived with noodles, char siu, wood ear mushrooms, and lemon on top. The noodles were medium thickness and slightly flat. They had a firm texture, but could have been a bit more moist and tender. The dipping sauce for the salt tsukemen was delicious! It had a thick, creamy consistency like potage soup, with a concentrated chicken paitan flavor. The chicken oil added a sweet richness to the broth. It was amazing! The saltiness was just right. The chicken meatballs and diced chicken char siu in the toppings were also incredibly tasty. I regretted not ordering the large size. I finished it quickly. The salt dipping sauce at this place is just so good.
I should have ordered the large size. Finally, I tried the soup wari (diluting the remaining dipping sauce with hot soup). It's a bit tricky to get the right balance of flavors when doing it yourself. This time, I succeeded! I thoroughly enjoyed every last bit of it. Overall, the salt tsukemen at Takeichi is delicious. It's a must-try. I give it 4.0 stars. Ramen is also good, but the salt tsukemen is my favorite. I will definitely be visiting again. Thank you for the meal. June 2022.

I've been to this ramen shop for the first time, and although it's always full, the chicken bone soy sauce with onion on the side is delicious. The thin straight noodles go well with the rich soup, and the meatballs are sweet and tasty. The onions are finely chopped, and the mini rice series as a set is just right. The only downside is that the seats are a bit cramped. It was delicious.

I visited during lunchtime on the weekend. Even though it was slightly past the usual lunch hours, there was a steady flow of customers coming in and out due to the location. I had a good memory of visiting the Shinbashi branch a few years ago, so I decided to try the Akihabara branch this time. First, I bought a meal ticket from the ticket machine. It was convenient to be able to pay with PayPay or other code payments. I tried the Rich Chicken White Broth Ramen for 950 yen. It was served to me in about 5 minutes. The toppings included 2 pieces of chicken chashu, chicken tsukune, negi (which the shop explained was Kujyo negi), finely chopped onions, bamboo shoots, and shredded red chili peppers. The chicken chashu was refreshing and delicious. The chicken tsukune had a slightly sweet flavor on its own. According to the shop, it is made by mixing "8 types of ingredients". The finely chopped onions went well with the soup. The soup had a rich chicken broth flavor, slightly resembling a potage soup, and was delicious. I felt that the amount of soup was slightly on the smaller side. The noodles were thin and had a good texture that paired well with the soup. I also tried the "Rich Chicken Bone Soy Sauce Ramen" that my family member ordered, and I found it even more delicious. There were counter seats and table seats available. They provided paper aprons and hair ties, which were convenient. There were also tissue paper and a water pitcher on the table, which was handy. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant around 3 pm on a holiday, which limited the options of open establishments. I ordered the Rich Chicken Bone Soy Sauce Ramen in large size for 1,100 yen using the ticket machine on the right side of the entrance. Payment options included QR code payments like PayPay and cash. Despite the time, there were about 3 groups of customers inside. The restaurant was clean and provided paper aprons. There were two staff members, one in the dining area and one in the kitchen. The service was good, and the food was served quickly. The ramen had a rich and delicious soup, similar to the taste of Tenkaippin ramen. The noodles were thin and cooked just right, complementing the flavorful soup. The chicken chashu was light and tasty, and the chicken meatballs were also enjoyable. The bamboo shoots were slightly sweet and delicious. There were condiments on the table like black pepper and fish powder, but they didn't quite match the soup. However, the spicy miso condiment worked well with the ramen. Overall, the meal was gone in no time and was delicious. I'm interested in trying other menu items next time, like the "Kyoto Bonito and Hichinai Chicken Chinese Ramen." Thank you for the meal.

Today, I visited Menya Musashi Akihabara, located within walking distance from Akihabara Station in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo. The restaurant was almost full, with many inbound customers. Menya Musashi is popular, with branches in Shanghai and Macau as well. The seating consists of two counters: one facing the kitchen and another along the road, with a capacity of around 20 people. Upon entering, there is a ticket machine on the right where you select your order. I chose the Rich Chicken Bone Soy Sauce Ramen for 880 yen. Due to the location, there were many Chinese customers, and the staff were Chinese as well. I had previously eaten at the main branch in Shinbashi, and the taste was quite different, especially the soup. Although the ingredients were the same, there was a slight difference in the freshness of the broth and toppings. It is unclear whether it is due to the aging of the ingredients, cooking method, or seasoning of the broth. The chicken chashu was quite watery. The ramen is a soy sauce-based chicken broth, with plenty of chicken oil. The original noodles were delicious, and the texture of the shredded bamboo shoots was excellent. I could clearly taste the difference after not visiting another restaurant for a few days. I will definitely visit again. Thank you very much.

This is a shop located about 5 minutes walk from Akihabara Station. There has been a sharp increase in tourists, with foreigners everywhere. Every place is packed with people, which was unimaginable just a little while ago. In the midst of this, I visited this relatively empty shop. I ordered the rich chicken broth ramen for 880 yen. As the name suggests, it has a rich taste from simmering chicken, and it reminded me of the thick ramen from Tenkaippin. It had been a while since I had this feeling, and it was really good. I think this taste would be well received by foreigners as well.

When I'm feeling good, I usually order the chicken white broth ramen, but after drinking too much these past few days, my stomach was feeling a bit tired. So, I decided to try the Kyoto bonito and comparison Uchida chicken Chinese soba, which seemed to have a gentle flavor. The soup was indeed gentle, almost too gentle. Humans are greedy creatures, seeking kindness but never quite satisfied with just that. Despite ordering something with a gentle taste, I found myself craving a stronger umami flavor. The refined blend of bonito-flavored pure Japanese-style broth and the soft taste of chicken created a delicious soup that was enjoyable on its own. However, when eaten with the noodles as ramen, I felt the need for a stronger umami flavor. It's all a matter of personal preference. Next time, after getting my stomach back in order, I'd like to try the rich chicken white broth ramen.

【Rich Chicken White Soup Ramen】880 yen
The classic chicken ramen soup, which combines a rich chicken white soup with a special sauce, is quite thick and creamy, but still easy to drink. The moist and tender chicken chashu, along with the fluffy and juicy chicken meatballs, add great flavor to the dish.

A ramen shop in a back alley off Akihabara's Chuo Street, specializing in chicken-based dishes. I decided to try their special tsukemen instead of the chicken broth ramen. I opted for the large portion since it was the same price as regular. The large portion of noodles was quite generous. The rich chicken-flavored dipping sauce was flavorful and easy to eat. The chicken and pork chashu on top of the noodles were refreshing. The diced chashu in the dipping sauce balanced well with the noodles. Hidden inside were fluffy chicken meatballs. The seasoned egg was mild, but overall, I think it was good.

This restaurant is a global ramen shop with locations in Shinbashi, Shibuya, Hatsudai, Toranomon, and Shiodome, offering a wide range of European, Asian, and Oceanian flavors. I remember eating here in Shinbashi when I was drunk in the past. I was hooked on chicken white broth ramen for a while. I discovered this place in Akihabara and wanted to eat it again after a long time. I visited around 12 pm on a weekday and the restaurant was about 60% full. After waiting for about 10 minutes, the restaurant was full and there was a line outside. I decided on the rich chicken white broth ramen at the ticket machine on the right side after entering. I was guided to a counter seat of my choice and received my order within a few minutes. The beautiful creamy soup was accompanied by large mountain chicken chashu, chicken meatballs, green onions, raw onions, wood ear mushrooms, shredded red chili peppers, and pork chashu, which was a luxurious lineup for the price. The medium-thin straight noodles were entwined with the rich and creamy soup. The crunchy raw onions helped to lighten the richness of the soup, making for a good combination. I also like the raw onions in Hachioji ramen and chicken white broth ramen. However, for some reason, I didn't feel the same excitement I had when I ate it in Shinbashi. After consuming plenty of collagen, Yuran's face was shining brightly the next day.

I hesitated to enter the shop because I am not a big fan of rich chicken broth soup. However, when I looked at the menu outside a certain shop after a meal, I saw they had "Ajitsuke Dashi Chicken Soba", so I decided to give it a try. I purchased the Ajitsuke Dashi Chicken Soba for 780 yen from the ticket machine inside the shop. The staff at the counter assigned me a seat, making sure that the seating was not too crowded. I didn't have to wait long before my bowl of ramen arrived. The dish consisted of thin noodles, tsukune (minced chicken), chicken chashu (breast meat, thigh meat), wood ear mushrooms, seaweed, and green onions. The Ajitsuke Dashi soup was more flavorful than light, and I could hardly taste the chicken. The thin noodles seemed to go well with the Ajitsuke Dashi, but there was a slight powdery texture that lingered. This might be a matter of personal preference. Overall, I think it's a well-rounded Ajitsuke Dashi ramen.

I ordered the rich chicken broth ramen. The soup was thick and creamy, but surprisingly not very flavorful. It had a hint of chicken taste, but the saltiness was lacking. I tried adding a lot of ginger, but it still didn't enhance the flavor. Finally, I added a teaspoon of garlic, which helped bring out the ginger flavor, and that's when I could finally taste something. Despite being chicken broth, it was quite heavy. On the way home, I had really bad reflux (I have acid reflux). Even my boyfriend, who doesn't have acid reflux, experienced reflux because it was so heavy. Overall, I wouldn't go back.

The rich chicken white broth was delicious. I had planned to order the soup with bonito dashi as I had heard it was tasty, but when I looked at the menu, I saw they also had chicken white broth. It has a strong flavor, and I was hoping to get some collagen from it.

This shop specializes in rich white broth, but due to the richness being too overwhelming, I opted for the only light option, the chin broth soba. The customers around me were mostly young people. The noodles were thin straight noodles with low water content, a common type. The soup had a fairly strong flavor of chin broth, but the saltiness was also strong. There was a lingering sensation on the palate that is unique to artificial seasonings. Despite being small, the two types of chashu and tsukune were delicious. Surprisingly, the wood ear mushrooms were a standout - they complemented the soup well.

The Taiwan-style mixed noodles didn't have the strong punch I was expecting, but it was a pleasant surprise to try something new. The taste was very delicious! I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

When you eat it, your mouth gets greasy... It's hot today, so maybe I should eat something refreshing... No, I haven't had rich ramen lately... Okay, chicken soba. Rich chicken soba. Indeed, it's chicken soba, with a strong and rich soup that leaves grease around your mouth. I was so focused on that, I didn't really notice the noodles (lol). The chicken chashu is made with both thigh and breast meat that are tender and easy to eat, overall it's a good bowl of ramen.

I ordered the Yukke-don, but had to crack the egg myself... it was kind of funny. The ramen was so-so and not very memorable. The donburi was also just okay, but I feel like with ramen shops in general, just changing the rice can make a big difference in taste, so I hope they don't skimp on that.

Limited time offer "Cold Tomato Noodles" 830 yen
[Visual]
The poster shows a white bowl, but it actually comes in a black bowl with the name of the restaurant "Menya Takeichi" on it. The toppings are two slices of fresh tomatoes and chicken chashu. It doesn't look cold though (´∀`)
[Taste]
When you slurp up the straight noodles lifted from the tomato soup... Oh, this is delicious!! The cold noodles have a firm texture and the umami of tomatoes condensed in the chicken soup is great! I didn't notice, but there are finely sliced wood ear mushrooms in it, so you can also enjoy the texture. The ripe fresh tomatoes are delicious, and the refreshing chicken chashu goes really well with the tomato soup. By the way, the tomatoes are not only the fresh tomatoes on top, but also the whole tomato flesh in the soup, maybe? Even though it's a cold soup, you can feel depth, maybe because of the rich tomato flavor. There are also bits of tomato skin in it, so maybe they use fresh tomatoes instead of canned ones... Towards the end, I added a few drops of Tabasco for a change in flavor. Oh man, this is too good! I wish this wasn't just a limited time offer, I want them to serve it all the time. It's a bowl of noodles with a very high level of satisfaction. Thank you for the meal v(^ω^)v
