At Akari, there's a food court with a surprising find - Mugi Maru! I ordered the Torotama Bukkake Udon with medium size and Kashiwa Tempura. I was the first one to arrive, but there were many others who came early too. The menu was extensive and I was amazed. I went for the most traditional option with medium size, and it was cheap and delicious. The broth was plentiful, which is rare for a bukkake dish, so I was grateful. The broth was tasty and rich. The udon was also delicious, although slightly thinner than usual. As for the Kashiwa Tempura, it was just okay. It lacked flavor and felt a bit dry. They also had a limited-time Hiyakake option available. I would definitely come back if I have the chance.

Food court located near Big Sight Station in a building. It's self-service, so first you order cold udon noodles for 320 yen, then receive it on the spot. Choose your toppings and pay at the counter. Green onions, ginger, and fried tempura bits are complimentary. There are free seats inside the food court and also a terrace. The udon noodles have a strong chewy texture and a smooth taste. The broth is also good. Great value for the price. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant is located near my workplace, and I pass by it frequently, but I had not written a review for it. I recently went to a Sanuki udon restaurant and was satisfied, but I am also always satisfied with this restaurant. It is a self-service style where you prepare your tray and chopsticks, then place your order. Except for bowl dishes, you can receive your order right away. On days with a '6' in the date, they offer a free upgrade to a large portion, which is very generous. After enjoying the noodles, there is a tempura and onigiri corner. The variety is plentiful and reasonably priced. Today, I ordered the bukkake warm egg large portion for 560 yen and the chicken tempura for 160 yen. You can add as much green onion, tempura crumbs, and ginger as you like. I personally enjoy eating it with plenty of green onion and ginger. The noodles do not have as much bounce as Sanuki udon, but they are soft and delicious. This is also a great restaurant.

When going to Tokyo Big Sight, I almost always go to this shop. Be careful as there is a long line after 11:45. The cold noodles cost 320 yen including tax. You can add two types of tempura and croquette for 400 yen. Unlimited toppings of green onions, ginger, and tempura bits. You can customize your order. On days with a 6, you can get a free large size. Consistently delicious.

When you exit the ticket gate at Yurikamome Tokyo Big Sight Station and head in the direction away from Tokyo Big Sight (turn left after exiting the ticket gate), you will find TFT Building (Oneza Ariake Bay Mall). Located on the 2nd floor of the east building is Kineya Mugimaru Ariake Oneza store. I visited for lunch on a weekday. It is a self-service style restaurant where you can enjoy homemade Sanuki udon with your choice of toppings. I chose the Kake Udon (regular) for 320 yen and the Kakiage for 180 yen. You can add as much chopped green onions and tempura bits as you like. Despite being cheap, the udon had a firm texture and was delicious.

Good morning. I am Kozue, a beauty acupuncture therapist. The other day, I went to Tokyo Big Sight in Odaiba. The inside of the building was very crowded, so I decided to have a light meal at Ariake Oneza on the opposite side of the station. It had been a while since I visited a food court, and I found that many of the shops were closed, with only Sukiya and Masuya Mugimaru remaining. After some hesitation, I decided to try Masuya Mugimaru this time. I ordered Kitsune Udon for 390 yen and a salmon rice ball for 150 yen. The Kitsune Udon had slightly too soft noodles and the soup was lukewarm. The flavor was not bad, but the lukewarm udon was a bit disappointing. I ordered the sweet fried tofu with the image of a sweet taste, but it turned out to be seasoned with a strong soy sauce flavor, which was not to my liking. The salmon rice ball used flakes, and there was a generous amount of salmon in it, making the rice and seaweed very delicious. The prices were reasonable, and the service was very quick, but the udon was a bit disappointing in terms of noodle firmness and soup temperature. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived just after 11 o'clock on a regular day. There were three people before 11:30, but around 11:30, the salarymen started coming in one after another. The building is clean and so is the food court. Niku-bukkake udon (medium): 690 yen, Zaru udon (medium): 390 yen. The noodles are long and tasty. I don't have a delicate palate, so I can't tell the difference between Marugame and Hanamaru.

This is an udon restaurant located in the TFT building directly connected to the Tokyo Big Sight station on the Yurikamome line. It is a self-service style restaurant similar to Marugame Seimen, but this brand called "Mugimaru" is known for its low prices. This time, I tried the "Curry Udon" for 420 yen including tax and the "Chicken Tempura" for 130 yen. The atmosphere of this restaurant is very similar to Marugame Seimen or Hanamaru Udon, but the udon served here is surprisingly unique! The broth is a light dashi with added curry powder, creating a slightly thick texture similar to starch. Unlike some standing soba shops where curry roux is poured over the noodle broth, this shop has a separate soup specifically made for curry udon. It has a decent level of spiciness from the chili pepper, and the grated ginger adds a nice Japanese flavor. The lack of oil is compensated by the melted tempura crumbs. The noodles are thicker than usual, softer, and have a good elasticity. They are chewy and delicious. The portion size is average, maybe slightly on the smaller side. The toppings include onions that have melted into the curry, sweet and savory simmered beef added later, green onions, and tempura crumbs. The amount of meat is decent for curry udon, but not abundant enough to be the main component. That's why getting the chicken tempura as an extra was a good choice. The chicken tempura is made from breast meat, light and not tough, but delicious. It may look small in the photo due to perspective, but it is actually quite filling for the price. Overall, this udon restaurant is similar to Marugame Seimen or Hanamaru Udon, but with its own unique twist. I think it's a good option for a quick meal.

Located on the second floor of an office building in front of the international exhibition hall, this udon restaurant operates in a cafeteria-style food court. I confirmed that social distancing could be maintained, quickly glanced at the menu, and lined up as the third person with space between each customer. I ordered the zaru udon for 300 yen plus an extra serving for 100 yen, including tax. I skipped the tempura and headed to the cash-only register. I was so surprised that I forgot to use my loyalty card, but I added green onions, ginger, and tempura crumbs at the condiment station. I sat at a small table with minimal social distance and started eating. Unfortunately, my dining experience was disrupted by a neighboring person coughing, but I continued to enjoy my meal. The generous portion and thick noodles exceeded my expectations, and I was satisfied with the abundance of condiments. I quickly finished my meal and proceeded to disinfect. Hand sanitizer was available.

Today, I attended a training session at Tokyo Fashion Town Building, but it ended earlier than expected. So, it's time for lunch! I found a food court-like place called Ariake One Court on the 2nd floor of the building, and there was a shop called Mugiya Mugimaru that serves homemade noodles. They had curry udon for only ¥420! I decided to order that along with a croquette for ¥120. The total came to ¥540, so I also got some tempura. The curry udon was delicious with chunks of beef on top, and the noodles were chewy. After finishing my meal, I noticed that it was still quiet in the food court area.

For dinner, I opted for a quick and easy option - udon noodles from Mugi Maru in Ariake. I had the wakame udon, topped with green onions and ginger. The udon noodles had a firm texture typical of Kanto-style udon, and the broth was rich and flavorful. While I'm getting used to Kanto-style udon, I do miss the chewy texture of Sanuki udon. Nevertheless, it was delicious and good value for money. Thank you for the meal!

The headquarters moved from Takanawadai to Ariake. Today I had some business at the new headquarters in Ariake. Before stopping by the headquarters, I felt a little hungry and wandered around a bit, and found a food court. I was torn between a hamburger, gyudon, and sandwich, but in the end, I decided to go with udon. I ordered the regular size bukkake udon with extra green onions, and a tempura on the side. I sprinkled some free tenkasu on top and sat down. Let's dig in. Wow! The noodles are chewy and have a nice texture. They have a good firmness to them. I really like this. It's not something you come across often. The broth is delicious as well. I quickly finished the noodles by mixing them well with the broth. I might end up stopping by here again when I come to the headquarters. Now that my stomach is satisfied, time to get some work done at the headquarters!! Thank you for the meal.

When I went to Tokyo Big Sight, there was a high chance of Kineya Mugimaru. I arrived around 11:50 am before the peak time, and there was hardly any line. I had the cold noodles and 3 kinds of tempura set for 770 yen including tax. The price and taste were reliable. I don't ask for anything more than that.

In the food court of Oneza Ariake TFT Building, there is a chain udon restaurant. It is a valuable place where you can have a meal for a very reasonable price. Despite being cheap, the udon has a good texture and tastes delicious. I had the bukkake udon with tempura on top. It was satisfying with a good portion size. Thank you for the meal.

I was so busy in the morning that I didn't have time for breakfast. Finally, I had a break around 2 pm. I was hungry but had no time because of my next appointment. So, I went to a shop where I could eat quickly. There was no line, and I quickly got a zaru udon for 290 yen. The tempura was being fried right in front of me, but they were out of my favorite eggplant tempura. They said they could fry some for me, but I didn't have time to wait. The udon had a chewy texture that I haven't experienced much before. Maybe it felt a bit stretched because there weren't many people in line. It almost felt like the boiled udon from a supermarket bag. I wonder if it would have been different if it was freshly boiled? Honestly, for me, it's only good when I'm in a hurry. Thank you for the meal.
