We were looking for a delicious yakitori restaurant in Nakano, and decided to choose this place without a reservation. We arrived before 6pm and were seated on the second floor smoothly. After we entered, the tables quickly filled up and the second floor became very lively. We ordered tsukune first as it takes 40 minutes, and other yakitori dishes were brought to us promptly. We ordered: Liver (2 skewers), Bonjiri (1 skewer), Chicken tenderloin with spicy cod roe (1 skewer), Raw chicken (2 skewers), Heart (1 skewer), Pork belly (1 skewer), Tsukune (3 skewers), Edamame, Pickled cabbage, Sesame dressing cabbage, Beef tendon and daikon stew (small), 3 glasses of sake, 1 bottle of beer, 1 highball. The total bill for 3 people was around 7,500 yen! We were very full but it was so cheap! And it was incredibly delicious! Personally, I really liked the liver and raw chicken. I want to try tsukune with cheese topping next time! The sesame dressing cabbage was so tasty that I wanted to buy some to take home. It's easy to see why this place is so popular! Nakano really has high standards. I definitely want to come back to this restaurant! I envy the people who live nearby! Thank you for the meal!

The yakitori restaurant in Nakano might be the best one. Each skewer is served individually, satisfying in both taste and portion size. The recommended tsukune was unfortunately sold out early, but I want to try it next time. I visited around 10 pm alone and was able to enter smoothly. The business hours are until 11:30 pm, with last orders for food at 10:30 pm and drinks at 10:45 pm (may vary depending on the day).

In Nakano, the first stop for cheap drinking is a favorite place to fill your stomach with delicious yakitori. Other chicken dishes are also recommended, such as "red chicken sashimi," "pork cartilage," and "tuna and avocado yukke." They are all delicious and perfect with alcohol. I had only been to the store in Nishi-Ogikubo, but Nakano is also great!

We went with a friend at 8 PM, and it was our second visit. Since we were only two people, we couldn't make a reservation and had to try our luck at getting a table. The limited edition tsukune skewers were already sold out when we arrived, so we missed out on that. The counter seats are quite cramped, so you might get bumped when people walk past. The high stools make it difficult to move the chairs, and some seats can feel a bit hectic. Also, the restroom only had a curtain for the men's section. If you're not comfortable with that setup, it might be tough for you.

Tsukune seems to be famous here. The portion was quite large for one person, so I couldn't try anything else. The taste was recommended with the sauce. It has a strong flavor that would go well with alcohol and rice. I want to try it with salt next time. The restroom is on the second floor and the door for women was difficult to close. I was interested in the recommended dish today, black pepper chicken nuggets. Hopefully, they will have it when I come next time.

✌️✨Recommended yakitori restaurant "Yakitori Yoneda" that I learned from Imai. The dishes here are all big and hearty!! Especially the yakitori pieces are so large, each one feels like a full serving?! They are delicious and satisfying. The signature menu item is the limited quantity tsukune, but unfortunately it was sold out when I went after yoga class. So sad!! Definitely need to go back for that. Personally, I think the miso mayo cucumber was the best. The miso mixed with minced chicken was incredibly delicious, so I highly recommend it. Thank you for the meal.🍴【Store Information】Yakitori Yoneda Nakano Branch 03-5318-5314Tokyo, Nakano-ku, Nakano 5-63-5https://tabelog.com/tokyo/A1319/A131902/13170517/❤️"@imai71@yakitori_yoneda2007#yakitori #yakitoriyoneda #yoneda #NakanoGourmet #Nakano #NakanoCafe #NakanoLunch #NakanoIzakaya #NakanoDinner #Izakaya

For the third stop in Nakano, I decided to go to this familiar place. Since I was already full, I quickly ate and left. The reliable quality and the capacity to always find a seat even when stopping by randomly are truly appreciated. Unfortunately, the famous tsukune that takes 40 minutes to prepare was sold out, so I will come back again!

The yakitori was cheap and delicious! I ordered sand liver with green onions, chicken skin, green onion with miso, heart skewers, and lemon sour, all of which were delicious and satisfying. The speed of drink service was particularly impressive (probably the fastest I've experienced). I found a great hidden gem of a restaurant.

A yakitori restaurant near Nakano Station. It has a narrow first floor counter seating area and second floor table seating. The yakitori is delicious, cooked right in front of you when you order. The side dishes like potato salad and ham cutlet are also tasty. Just be aware that the portion sizes for the dishes are quite big, so order carefully!

The food is delicious no matter what you order. I visited right after they opened and it quickly became full, which is understandable given how tasty the food is. The ponzu sour is great, but the ponzu sauce seems to never run out, which can be a bit of a challenge. The specialty tsukune (meatball) is quite large, but you can easily finish it in one go. A restaurant that you want to visit on an empty stomach.

I've been here many times and the food is consistently delicious. The service is okay, nothing special, just the typical foreigner vibe. However, the last order is too early. I understand for grilled items, but 40 minutes before closing for drinks is too soon. It's a shame that such a delicious place has disappointing service. The famous jumbo tsukune is a must-have because almost everyone orders it, and the grilled rice balls at the end are essential. The toriten (chicken tempura) and Yoneta salad are also delicious and generous in portion. Going to the second floor requires passing through a narrow aisle by the counter seats, so it can be tight for larger individuals and you might bump into seated customers.

Visited on a Saturday night without a reservation. The place was busy, had to wait for about 20 minutes. The interior was a bit cluttered and the seating was close to other customers. The skewers were all really delicious and the overall prices were cheap. Found a really good yakitori place and left satisfied. A must-visit again.

The negima (green onion) skewers and tebasaki (chicken wings) were really delicious. The limited edition tsukune (chicken meatball skewer) took about 30 minutes to cook even when it wasn't busy, but it was as delicious as the reviews said. Since it was quite a large portion of tsukune, my partner and I shared one. I thought it would be better to top it with egg so that the onion and sauce could mix together. I'll try that next time!

After watching a concert in Nakano, I stopped by the main store of Fujiya Camera and randomly entered a yakitori restaurant nearby. All the eateries in front of Nakano Station looked appealing, but I had a feeling that this simple-looking izakaya might be a hidden gem. The first dishes that came out were all delicious. What's this❗️ Isn't this place amazing❓ The yakitori that was eventually served was one of the top 5 tastiest I've ever had. It was shocking. Why is it so delicious? It truly was a fantastic restaurant. Every skewer was delicious. Maybe the chef grilling them is skilled. This makes the alcohol go down smoothly. The man sitting next to me was getting along well with the Western man next to him, toasting repeatedly. I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the meal❗️

Imagine delicious yakitori! The skin is crispy, the sauce is flavorful. The heart is tender and full of flavor. The pork belly is perfectly cooked. When everyone finished eating, the plates were filled with empty skewers and sauce. The liver is amazing! It was so smooth. The first floor has a counter and the second floor has tables. It was great that we could also get yakitori to go.

Yoneda @ Nakano Takosan Wiener
We, Tokyo Hormones, are a group of B-food enthusiasts who can finish everything in 15 minutes. The other day, a child was fooling around and splashed into a puddle! They did it like ten times in a row, so their shoes, socks, and even their knees were all soaked. On a rainy day, shoes never dry, but to lift our spirits, we stopped by.
I know, Yoneda @ Nakano Takosan Wiener, right? I heard their "tsukune" skewers are famous. There was a cute girl sitting alone at the counter on the first floor, enjoying a beer. It looked delicious. However, it takes 40 minutes for the skewers to be ready, so we, who were up for a 15-minute challenge, ordered the grilled octopus platter and simmered tofu.
But hey, this is delicious! The red octopus is so good, and they even serve it with mayonnaise. They know what they're doing in Nakano, right? There are so many great restaurants in Nakano, so chances are slim, but I'll definitely stop by again when I get the chance.

Mayonnaise is the best, not ketchup. It's all about the mayo!

This time, I would like to introduce the popular yakitori restaurant "Yoneta" in Nakano. The location is a 3-minute walk from Nakano Station on the JR Chuo Line, Chuo Line Rapid, and Tokyo Metro Tozai Line. The business hours are weekdays from 5:00 pm to 11:30 pm (last order at 10:50 pm) and weekends and holidays from 4:00 pm to 11:30 pm (last order at 10:50 pm). There are no regular holidays. I visited with a friend around 6:15 pm. We were seated on the second floor, which has about 15 table seats. We ordered two draft beers for drinks. For food, we ordered pork belly, negima (chicken thigh with green onion), chicken heart, and salted squid. The menu offers a variety of yakitori ranging from 190 yen to 290 yen per skewer, as well as vegetable dishes and other side dishes. Their recommended dish is tsukune (chicken meatballs) for 320 yen, but we didn't order it this time. We enjoyed the pork belly, negima, and chicken heart we ordered. The pork belly skewers were particularly delicious. Next time, we will try the tsukune. We will definitely visit again.

I went to Yonetada, a yakitori restaurant located a 3-minute walk from Nakano North Exit! Even though they open at 4 pm, it was quite crowded! I ordered a highball and tsukune right away! The tsukune was surprisingly voluminous, almost like a hamburger! The inside was fluffy, and the sauce was well-infused, making it delicious! They also offer a variety of refreshing appetizers, and the daily specials were plentiful, with reasonable prices! Despite being a casual izakaya, it had a trendy feel and was amazing ☺︎

Let's try the "tsukune" for 320 yen at a famous yakitori restaurant in Nakano without saying anything! It takes 40 minutes to cook, so be aware. It is the best in terms of appearance and taste! The thick fried tofu is crispy all over as it is fried after being cut. The first floor has a counter and table seating for 1 or 2 people, while the second floor has many table seats. The yakitori is cooked slowly over charcoal, so it is naturally delicious. This is a restaurant I want to visit many times!

I saw a post on SNS and decided to go to a place in Nakano around 4 pm. I sat at the counter, which was quite narrow at the back. The drinks were a bit on the expensive side. I ordered a Hoppy Black (440 yen). The giant tsukune (320 yen) seemed to be a specialty, so I ordered that along with negima, chicken skin (220 yen, 190 yen), and pork cartilage sashimi from the whiteboard (450 yen). The pork cartilage was like crunchy wakka. It made me crave Jin-chan's cartilage sashimi. The negima, chicken skin, it's hard to explain, but the sauce and meat felt disconnected. The flavors didn't quite come together. I ordered a lemon sour (460 yen) with less ice, which I usually don't do at a new place. The Hoppy glass was slim, and so was the lemon sour glass. It's only 20 yen different from Akimoto-ya, but in terms of liquid volume, it's quite different. The tsukune arrived. It was huge and made quite an impression. But how did it taste? Hmm. Just because it's big doesn't mean it's delicious. I noticed they were brushing oil on it as it cooked, maybe that's why it tasted oily. I ordered another lemon sour, and as the restaurant got busier, I decided to finish up. It seems like a place geared towards younger people.

Sand liver and green onion salad - cheap but delicious - yakitori - bonjiri chicken skin and chicken tenderloin (salt sesame) - beef tendon and daikon stew, always a safe choice - maguro nira, a little tough maguro, but overall great cost performance. Can be used at either the first or second restaurant.
