After relaxing in the hot stone bath, I felt hungry and came here. It was a Saturday afternoon around 3 o'clock, so the food court was not crowded. I wanted something refreshing but also felt like having tempura, so I ordered the eggplant grated soba. It was made with 100% buckwheat, and the noodles had a great texture, much better than those from the supermarket! The eggplant tempura was large and satisfying. I had a delicious freshly fried tempura bowl set at a soba restaurant called "Seiro Soba". It is located in the food court on the 5th floor of Ariake Garden, just a few minutes' walk from Yurikamome's Ariake Station. I visited around 5:30 pm on a weekday. The portion of soba was more than I expected, which I appreciated. It was really tasty.

The scent of soba noodles fills the air at the food court. It's convenient and quick to enjoy authentic soba noodles made with 100% buckwheat flour. I had a delicious meal. On March 29th (Wednesday), I went to Soba Sagata at Ariake Garden Store for lunch. This soba restaurant is located on the 5th floor of the food court. I didn't have much time before my next appointment and wasn't very hungry, so I chose this place where I could adjust the portion size. Despite being in a food court, they serve freshly ground, freshly made, freshly boiled, freshly fried soba noodles. I ordered the following from the menu: Vegetable Tempura Soba for 700 yen with a large serving of soba (+100g) which was free with the Ariake Garden credit card. The soba had a great flavor and was made in-house from milling to noodle making, which was very reasonable for the price. The dipping sauce came with wasabi and green onions. The sauce was sharp and allowed me to enjoy the soba. The standout was the large vegetable tempura. It was crispy and delicious with a substantial thickness. Even when short on time, I was able to enjoy a quick and tasty meal with soba and vegetable tempura.

A few days ago, I saw a review and realized I hadn't been to "Sagatani" yet. Just then, I discovered that they had a shop in the food court at Ariake Garden. Among the soba chain restaurants, this is my favorite. I had visited their shops in Hamamatsucho and Shibuya a few times, but it had been about 5-6 years since my last visit. The menu seems to have expanded, but I ordered the seiro soba, horse mackerel rice set, and lemon sour. The soba is made with 100% buckwheat, and the aroma of the soba is rich. I also like the strong broth. I think it's delicious for this price range. My favorite dish here is the "horse mackerel rice" - it's simply delicious with grilled horse mackerel flakes on top of rice. I remember falling in love with this way of eating soba chain dishes, which I didn't encounter in Osaka. It's convenient to come here in Ariake. Thank you for the meal!

After visiting the hot springs at Arima Garden, we decided to have dinner at the food court. The restaurant we wanted to go to was very crowded, so we ended up here. There were familiar chain restaurants and popular ones, but I wanted to try something new. However, after looking around, I felt full already. In the end, I ordered the duck dipping soba with 20 kinds of spices from Saga Valley, which I often visited after working overtime. The system where you order and then get called with a button is similar to other commercial facilities these days. The food court was quite spacious with different areas, making it easy to use. As for the soba, I couldn't tell the level of spiciness, but the duck was tender and delicious. The dipping sauce was a bit strong, but the soba, which was freshly ground in the shop, was also tasty. I thought the food court had a decent quality. Thank you for the meal~

After enjoying a day trip to Ariake Garden hot springs, we decided to grab something to eat at the food court before heading home. I opted for steak, while my friend chose duck soba. It was a surprise to come across a restaurant we used to frequent in places like Jinbocho and Ogawamachi on weekday evenings after work. The noodles were the same firm, chewy ones we remembered. Although I haven't tried duck before, I found the noodles to be surprisingly delicious. They were smooth and slippery without any starchy residue, which was impressive. The broth also had a nice flavor to it.

I went around 16:30 and there was no line, so I was able to order quickly. I ordered the parent and child bowl, and it was also made quickly. Honestly, I didn't like the taste. The chicken had a smell and didn't seem very delicious... I was able to eat it by adding the accompanying spicy condiment. I don't think I will go there again.

There is a new soba restaurant in the food court at Ariake Garden. The staff are very friendly and provide great service. I decided to try it out because I was in the mood for soba and it seemed like a new place. I ordered the "Goma-dare Seiro" (650 yen) and the "Tempura Assortment" (500 yen). The food was served quickly and the soba tasted okay, with the shrimp tempura being crispy. The sesame sauce was a bit strong for my taste, but overall I was satisfied with the speed of service and the taste. When I asked for more sesame sauce, they kindly provided it. Standing soba shops are a unique part of Japanese culture, and if they can provide good food at this price and speed, I am happy. I paid with a credit card. It was delicious and I will come back again. Thank you for the meal.

Visited in July 2022 for work on the last holiday of the month at Ariake Garden. Started by looking for something to eat at the 5th floor food court before my afternoon shift. The food court had a variety of options including Ramen Godza, Udon Takasho, Tonkatsu Kimukatsu, and Ice Cream Hobsons among others. As I was casually browsing the food court, I noticed Sagatani was there! Sagatani is a noodle shop known for its freshly made soba and hiyamugi noodles using a push-out noodle-making machine in the store. Although not technically a standing soba shop, in terms of convenience and price range, it's comparable to one. Perfect for someone like me working on a holiday, right? (laughs) "Juwari Soba Sagatani Ariake Garden Branch" I placed my order and payment at the counter, received a buzzer, and waited at my seat. In about 5 minutes, my order was ready! - Special Ajigohan Set (Seiro Soba) A unique Sagatani dish where ajigohan (seasoned rice with grilled fish) is paired with seiro soba. I also borrowed wasabi and soba-yu (soba water) at the pick-up counter and brought it to my seat to enjoy! The freshly made and boiled soba had a smooth texture despite being 100% buckwheat, perfect for a hot day. The dipping sauce had a decent dashi flavor with a strong soy sauce taste, typical of Kanto style. While the soba didn't have a strong buckwheat aroma, it paired well with the flavorful soba broth. Moving on to the ajigohan, it was topped generously with flaked grilled fish. The slightly salty fish complemented the rice well when mixed thoroughly. Finished off with the soba water. By the time I finished, the food court was almost full of families, but I didn't feel out of place as a satisfied soba slurper. Now, time to work hard until the evening! Thank you.

This is a restaurant located in the food court of Ariake Garden. I went to Ariake Garden for lunch, and among the various shops, I wanted to eat something cold because of the heat, so I chose soba. I ordered the "sesame sauce seiro" for 650 yen and added a large serving for an extra 100 yen. The most impressive thing was that the soba noodles were very long. When I tried to pick them up with chopsticks, they were so long that even when I stretched my hand up high, they were still long (;^ω^). However, the sesame sauce was delicious, and I enjoyed it. The large serving was just the right amount.

It's a chain soba restaurant (*'▽'*). Located in the food court of Ariake Garden♪ I tried it because I was interested in it on Tabelog (*'-'*). I ordered the large serving of kakiage soba (^^) I had high expectations, but it was just okay (>_<)

Two of us had to work today on a Saturday, but after finishing work, we went to Ariake Garden. There was a new soba restaurant, which reminded me of a place I had been to in Akihabara before. We ordered the Seiro and Tempura set for 950 yen. The Seiro soba was firm and I really liked it, with a slightly sweet broth. The Wakame seaweed was free, and it tasted great when eaten together. The wasabi was spicy and good. My companion ordered the Kake soba with two shrimp tempura on top.

"Sagatani," which has been highly regarded among those working in the city center, opened as "Sagatani" in the food court of Ariake Garden in May. The replaced store was "Tsukiji Gindako." I visited the place thinking that there are not many cheap and delicious soba restaurants in this area, but as expected, the prices at "Sagatani" are slightly higher compared to the original "Sagatani" in the city. For example, the seiro at "Sagatani" is 450 yen, while at the original "Sagatani" it is 350 yen. The kakiage at "Sagatani" is 200 yen, while at the original "Sagatani" it is 150 yen. It may seem like a small difference, but how you view this 30% increase in prices can change the evaluation of this restaurant. In my case, the appeal of "Sagatani" is halved due to the higher prices. I wonder if the concept of "Sagatani" and "Sagatani" is different to begin with? Anyway, I usually visit the Hamamatsucho, Jimbocho, and Kanda Ogawamachi branches, so I don't see the need to eat at the slightly more expensive Ariake Garden. As for the soba itself, it stands out in this field. I personally like the slightly sweet broth. The kakiage, which crumbles lightly with a thin coating, is also enjoyable with its light texture. The topping of wakame, a specialty of "Sagatani," is also provided. The service by the female staff was good. However, I was bothered by the lack of cleanliness in the buzzer that was handed to me. Furthermore, the data on Tabelog is not very reliable, so I tried to confirm the menu prices on the official website of the operating company. When I clicked on the menu, it redirected me to Tabelog (laughs). A useless official website. As a comparison, the prices at "Sagatani" were confirmed on site at the "Hamamatsucho branch" in June 2022. The prices for the mori have been increased by about 30 yen in recent years."

On May 5, 2022, I visited the Tenpura Soba SAGATA located inside the Ariake Garden Food Court for the first time. I ordered the Tendon Set with cold soba for 950 yen including tax and received a buzzer. After about 10 minutes, the buzzer went off and I went to pick up my order. The tempura in the tendon was freshly fried and piping hot, which made it delicious. The soba noodles, despite being made from 100% buckwheat, had a smooth texture that resembled more of a 80% buckwheat soba. The portion size was just right, and being able to enjoy 100% buckwheat soba and a mini tendon for under 1,000 yen was a great deal. Although the flavor and texture of the soba didn't quite match the typical 100% buckwheat soba, it might just be my imagination. My stomach was satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the only newly opened soba restaurant in the Aomi Garden Food Court on a holiday afternoon. The seating in the food court is quite spacious, so I was able to secure a seat right away. I waited in line with a few people to order, and I got the Duck Soba for ¥900 with a side of Nasu Tempura for ¥200. It took about 10 minutes for my order to be ready. The duck soba surprisingly had a generous amount of duck (about 6 slices) and the broth was tasty. The soba was said to be 100% buckwheat, but... The only downside was that it took a bit of time to be called up due to the crowd.

Outside of Ikebukuro, I tried the usual horse mackerel rice set for ¥820 with a large serving for an additional ¥100. The price is higher when the location changes, almost reaching ¥1000. Next door, the all-you-can-eat steak set caught my eye, but it didn't taste as good.

I saw someone lifting up their soba noodles high in the food court and thought, "Wow, really?" But then I realized my own soba noodles were also really long! And even though it's 100% soba noodles, they weren't dry at all! Unfortunately, they were sold out of natto soba noodles because it was near closing time. It was delicious, cheap, and I want to go back for a rematch.

I ordered a vegetable tempura set meal. When I went to pick it up, there was no tempura included! I asked about it, and they seemed surprised. They quickly brought out a tempura dish, but it was nothing like the picture - very empty and lacking in quality. If the prices go up and the quality goes down, there's no point in going to Saga Valley.
