I entered a private room. It's been a while since I last came to Toraji. Overall, the atmosphere seemed normal, but the meat was delicious. The T-cut tongue was especially tasty, so I ended up ordering more. The premium kalbi was also delicious, with sweet and tasty fat. The harami and hormone were also delicious. I liked that there was a generous amount of hormone. The salad and kimchi were normal. I personally like kimchi with a sour fermented taste, which is hard to find unless you go to a Korean barbecue restaurant. The garlic chips, which I always order, were a good palate cleanser. The garlic and green onion soup at the end didn't have as much garlic flavor as I expected, and it lacked a punch. It felt like just adding garlic chips to a beef soup. We ordered the most expensive wine by the bottle, and at first, I found it too bitter and hard to drink. However, as time passed, it opened up and became very delicious. Even though I'm not good with alcohol, I found it easy to drink. It was refreshing yet rich, and it truly felt like a wine that goes well with meat. I recommend it to those who like red wine.

It is a slightly upscale restaurant where you can enjoy delicious wagyu beef in a quiet private room. The only downside is that the beer glasses are small, but beer lovers can solve this by ordering a pitcher. The best part is wrapping the beef tongue in the garlic and green onions! The harami, sagari, and kalbi were all tender and very delicious. The special yukhoe was a bit disappointing. Despite some disappointing dishes, the best part was being able to eat slowly in a quiet private room like a true connoisseur.

I visited Toraji with a friend who had business in Akihabara and wanted to eat meat. It was a Saturday night, so making a reservation was a good idea as it was fully booked. We had a course meal in a private room and enjoyed everything from the appetizers to the meat. The main meat dishes were delicious, but the meat sushi and almond jelly dessert were my favorites.

I feel like the service level has improved. The staff are more attentive and efficient than before. However, the meat seems to be thicker now... Perhaps due to inflation? The kalbi has a lot of fatty parts, which was a bit disappointing, but the tare sauce at Toraji's yakiniku is still delicious. The salad is crisp and refreshing. The menu design is also very nice.

When it comes to Toraji, I have visited the one in Ebisu many times, but this was my first time visiting the one in Akihabara. I arrived early and was able to enjoy the Happy Hour, which made me feel like I got a good deal on drinks. The meat dishes were all consistently delicious, which was great. Also, the fact that the ventilation was good when grilling the meat meant that I didn't have to worry about any lingering smells, which was fantastic.

It has been a while since I last visited. The private room allowed us to have a leisurely meal. I recommend this place for entertaining guests or business meetings. We ordered a delicious selection of meats a la carte - tongue, loin, hormone, pork belly, namul, and stone bibimbap. The service from a young female staff member, who seemed to be new, was attentive and pleasant.

Since it was a private room, I could relax and it was clean and beautiful. When I tried to order whiskey, they were sold out of everything except highballs. Have you ever experienced that? I ordered a steak that was like a diamond cut. The steak was delicious, but the price and the amount and quality of the meat may not be balanced. Personally, I feel like the price is a bit high, maybe due to inflation. You can only order meat sushi in increments of two, so it's a bit disappointing. The onion soup wasn't as amazing as I expected. The tongue was delicious, so I recommend it. The kalbi wasn't too fatty for being marbled, which was a bit surprising. The garlic was delicious, I even ordered a second one. Thank you for the meal!

I was invited for a holiday lunch and visited this restaurant after a long time! It's only about 1-2 minutes from Akihabara Station. I had made a reservation in advance and was guided to a private room. I like it here. This time, I had the following: [Standard Course] [Appetizer] - Assorted Kimchi 3 types - Salad - Assorted hors d'oeuvres (finest Yukhoe, squid sashimi, boiled pork bossam) [Grilled dishes] - Tongue salt - Grilled shabu-cut large shrimp - Galbi - Harami - Fillet roast - Tongue hormone [Meal] - Cold noodles [Desert] - Desert (forgot to take a picture) For a chain restaurant, the service was solid and the portion size was satisfactory. I think it's a convenient place for a leisurely meal. Visited around January 2023.

On my mother's birthday, we decided to come here last minute. Without a reservation, she just wanted to eat meat for lunch. We arrived during the lunchtime opening hours on a weekday and were seated in a private room. We ordered the Yakiniku set meal S for 2 people, which included various grilled meats, appetizers, rice, soup, and an additional thick-cut tongue salt dish. The meats were thick and tender, with a good chewy texture. The Black Miso Harami was rich and flavorful, and the Hilerose was delicious, although I regretted not knowing it was part of the special menu before ordering. I ordered a variety of dishes that caught my eye, but ended up being too full and uncomfortable afterwards. However, as long as my mother enjoyed it, everything was fine. The staff were also attentive and the private room allowed us to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. Visited in August 2022.

The quality of the meat and the speed of service were excellent, although the prices were a bit high. Since it is a slightly upscale restaurant, there may be complex orders, so I felt that it would be helpful for the staff to make smooth communication in Japanese. The atmosphere is private and convenient for this location.

At the end of the year, after the second day of Comic Market 99, I went to Toraji with a friend because we wanted to eat some good meat. It was like a year-end party. I often go to this restaurant for lunch, but it had been a while since I went in the evening. It's definitely on the expensive side, but the quality is outstanding! Even the thinly sliced meat has a great texture and flavor, and the thickly cut tongue and fillet are incredibly tender with a delicious sweetness. The side dishes are also excellent. The one-pickled cucumber is so fresh, and the egg soup is "huge!" I was surprised by the amount, but the gentle flavor and the deliciousness of the vegetables made it easy to finish. So, I ended 2021 with some good meat at Toraji. I wonder where I should start in the new year, looking forward to 2022!

I went for lunch. The stone bibimbap was a little pricey at 1400 yen. I wished it came with some side dishes like kimchi or namul. The taste was delicious, but it could have been spicier with more gochujang. They served water at the beginning and tea at the end, and the complimentary ice bar was a nice touch. The fact that it wasn't too crowded was a plus.

At this place where they have private rooms, I decided to have a yakiniku lunch. Even though I was thinking of having a light meal, the perfect menu for me was the salad yakiniku set. It comes with a full-sized salad, kimchi, side dish, cold tofu, and the meat includes chuck flap tail and skirt steak. It's so healthy! Even without rice, it's quite satisfying and filling. The meat, especially the skirt steak, is excellent. This is my ideal diet menu. I might just end up ordering this (laughs).

I really like TORAJI for yakiniku. There is a sense of stability and comfort when the meat is served, reminding me that this is what yakiniku is all about. This was my first time having lunch there, and I was surprised by the generous portion size. They even served kimchi and a smoothie. However, I noticed that the shrimp was missing, but when I mentioned it, they quickly brought out two shrimp. Their response was light-hearted and appreciated. TORAJI never fails to deliver a consistent and reliable dining experience. The meat, side dishes, and soup were all excellent as usual. Thank you for the complimentary ice cream as well.

I had lunch on a weekday at Trattoria on the 5th floor of Akiba Trim's restaurant area. It was still just past 1:00 PM, and there weren't many people around when I got off the elevator. I've heard that this floor has struggled with low customer numbers even before the pandemic, and it seemed tough on this day as well. As a high-end restaurant, the interior consists mainly of private or semi-private rooms. I was shown to a private room by myself and looked over the lunch menu. The lunch menu includes several set meals, stone bibimbap, and jjang noodles. I wanted to have some grilled meat that day, so I ordered the "Trattoria Gozen (\2,600)". While sipping on the vegetable smoothie that was served first, I waited for the main dish to arrive. The food was served on a small tray with dishes overflowing, and the meat included kalbi, harami, and loin in pairs, as well as a large, thinly sliced frozen beef tongue. I wonder about serving the frozen beef tongue as is? The side dishes included beef stew, tofu seasoned with gochujang, kimchi, and oi kimchi. Instead of salad, slices of shishito peppers and pumpkin were arranged with the meat. All the side dishes were delicious. The stew and oi kimchi made the rice disappear quickly. The wakame soup had just the right amount of saltiness. Being a high-end restaurant, the quality of these supporting roles was truly outstanding. The marbled kalbi and lean loin were delicious as expected. However, the beef tongue was served frozen, cooked too quickly, prone to burning, and was a bit disappointing. While the food overall was delicious, the service was surprisingly brusque and lacking the sophistication one would expect from a high-end establishment. The staff opened and closed the door to the private room forcefully without a word, served the dishes carelessly, and were engrossed in chatting with each other without acknowledging the customers throughout. I have dined at several Trattoria locations in Tokyo, but this was the first time I found the service to be so poor. I usually enjoy the attentive service at the Kanda and Azabu-Juban locations. I deducted points for the service.

For my second meal of the new year, I went to Yakiniku Toraji and had some decent quality meat. This restaurant is expensive at night, but very affordable for lunch. I chose the 2000 yen menu this time, which included kalbi, cut-up tongue, wakame soup, kimchi, and rice. You grill the meat yourself at your table. The quality of the meat was better a few years ago. It seems to have declined a bit. They no longer offer unlimited rice refills or salad. But the quality is still good. The wakame soup is delicious and they use high-quality cuts of meat. While it may not be as good as it used to be, it is still a good restaurant. The atmosphere, taste, and portion sizes are consistent. I would recommend it!

I ordered the yakiniku set for lunch with a friend. The price was reasonable and the yakiniku was delicious. The seating was in a sunken kotatsu style, which made it relaxing and safe for those with babies. It was quite quiet probably because it was a weekday afternoon. Thank you for the meal.

I was recommended to try Yakiniku Toraji when discussing about Meat Day with my coworker. It's a famous restaurant that offers a special lunch menu on Meat Day. We went to the Akihabara branch just in time for lunch, and the place was moderately crowded even on Meat Day. I tried the Diamond Cut Kalbi Set for ?? yen, where you grill the meat yourself and cut it to your liking. It was my first time grilling meat by myself, but it was a great experience.

The kimchi soup lacked salt and pepper, and tasted like miso soup without miso. Even after explaining this to three different staff members, they seemed unable to understand. It was very frustrating having to repeat the same explanation each time. We ended up getting a replacement, but since other menu items were also just average, we will not be returning.
