Two people used the restaurant on a weekend night. There were about 8 people waiting in line in front of the store, and about 8 people waiting inside as well. About half of the customers were foreigners, and staff members came to take orders while we were waiting in line. We were asked to choose between two sauces, onion sauce and wasabi sauce. We chose wasabi sauce because we heard that the onion sauce was sweet with fruit. The restaurant was located underground, and we were finally seated after about 40 minutes. The underground restaurant had a large counter as the main seating area, with about four table seats as well. It was nice to have our order served as soon as we sat down. We ordered the following dishes: Roast beef bowl set with extra meat for 1210 yen + 790 yen, and Black Wagyu roast beef bowl set for 1870 yen. The bowls that arrived were both towering like Mount Fuji, but the one with extra meat looked more impressive. However, the overall impression was not that impressive in terms of impact or visual appeal. The bowls were small and surprisingly plain when faced with them. As for the taste, there was a sense of mediocrity throughout. I am not a fan of sweet flavors, so choosing the wasabi sauce was the right decision for me. They asked if we wanted mayonnaise, but we decided to go without it. However, after finishing the meal, I regretted not adding mayonnaise as I felt that the roast beef's flavor had become a bit dull. The comparison of the meats was surprising or rather obvious, with the Black Wagyu being delicious. The menu indicated that those who like fatty meat should choose this option, but the Black Wagyu did not appear particularly fatty. It was unexpectedly difficult to distinguish between the two types of meat in the bowl, and we ended up sharing them. The Black Wagyu had a rich flavor and was delicious, without a noticeable fatty taste. However, since it was the regular portion, the amount of roast beef was less than expected. The flavor was not particularly rich or voluminous, and adding more meat would be necessary to feel satisfied. As a fan of raw eggs, I was delighted to have an egg included in the dish. The tray also came with condiments and a soy sauce-colored sauce for the rice, which was quite sweet, so I ended up adding salt towards the end. There was no overwhelming sense of deliciousness or excitement while eating, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was somewhat lackluster. The unique and towering presentation of the dish was interesting, but it might be more enjoyable if the roast beef was arranged flatter and more delicately. The thinly sliced roast beef made it impossible to achieve a fluffy or voluminous presentation, and ultimately, it felt unsatisfying. The quality of the meat itself also seemed lacking in flavor. Despite some good ideas and a nice presentation, there was a feeling that it could be greatly improved. In conclusion, the restaurant had a unique concept and presentation, but the flavor and overall dining experience fell short of expectations.
