First, choose your favorite soup ❤️ The price varies depending on the type and quantity, from one to four kinds! This time, I chose white broth and spicy broth ❤️ - Seasoned beef ⏩ Even a half portion is quite filling, with tender beef that looks spicy but isn't actually spicy. - Hormone beef ⏩ The hormone is very chewy and delicious when added to the white broth, like a motsu nabe ❤️ - Pork shoulder loin ⏩ Low in fat because it's loin, healthy and can be eaten like shabu-shabu ♡ - Premium beef ⏩ Just the right amount of fat, added to the spicy broth, it has various spices and a tingling spiciness that I like ❤️ My friend prefers it quite spicy. - Pork belly ⏩ Juicy pork belly that becomes healthy when the fat melts away in the hot pot. - Assorted vegetables ⏩ Special assortment of Chinese cabbage, spinach, bok choy, and carrots. The bigger portion might have been more voluminous, vegetables are a must. - Duck blood ⏩ Tastes like liver but lighter, like jelly. A first-time experience. - Kung Fu noodles ⏩ The noodles are stretched by the staff while dancing, a fun experience. The noodles are chewy like a mix of udon and somen, very delicious ❤️ Highly recommended for its cost performance. - Mochi shabu ⏩ Dip in peanut sugar, tastes like a dessert and is delicious ❤️ I like this too. - Seasoning bar ⏩ Many seasonings to choose from, can be taken as many times as you want, with plenty of spicy and authentic spices. It's fun and you can be greedy, with recommended combinations written down. Fruits, pickles, and unlimited soup ♡ There was also a new and unique sweet soup like oshiruko that I had never tried before. - Five-flavor fried rice ⏩ I wanted something rice-based and this five-flavor fried rice with individual grains that are fluffy and delicious seemed to add to the atmosphere. - Spicy chicken wings ⏩ Spicy and juicy ❤️ I can't resist fried foods. - Glass noodles ⏩ Thick glass noodles in a delicious soup, perfect for those who love spicy food, delicious and recommended.

From June, some vegetables and meat have been reduced in price, making it quite a good deal. Sour drinks are only 150 yen each. This campaign is happening at stores other than Shinjuku and Ikebukuro, but it's unclear when it will end, so it's best to check with the store before going. The coconut milk ice cream was rich and delicious!! It was around 200 yen (I forgot the exact price). The service is still great as always. Thank you for the meal.

A high-end hot pot restaurant in China. I visited for lunch after a long time. They no longer offer lunch sets, so you have to order dishes individually. Everyone orders the sauce bar because there are so many options to choose from and it's fun. The meat and seafood are deliciously spicy, and you can eat until you're full. The photo shows rich pork brain.

Hai Di Lao Hot Pot is a famous high-end hot pot chain in China, with over 300 stores in cities like Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. They also have locations in Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, Los Angeles, Canada, UK, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Australia. Known for their exceptional service, they offer a lunch special for 1980 yen with unlimited access to a sauce bar filled with fruits. Despite the price increase from 1680 yen, it is still a great deal and worth visiting every week.

I went again. I wanted to eat the weekday lunch limited 1680 yen hot pot set... and it comes with a sauce bar too! The contents of the weekday lunch limited 1680 yen hot pot set are called the Nine Palaces Grid, and it includes meat, vegetables, and noodles! Plus, the sauce bar! The sauce bar has fruits and soup, so the sauce bar is too exciting. The hot pot at Haidilao is more about the sauce bar than the soup. This time, I chose the mushroom soup instead of the hot pot soup. It's delicious because you can drink this soup. And this time, I also ordered additional items along with the set meal. Quail eggs and mochi. I'm so full now. I ended up taking the leftovers home. It's nice that they offer takeout too. The weekday lunch limited 1680 yen hot pot set is available until the end of May, so if you have the time, give it a try!

They also have locations in Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, Los Angeles, Canada, UK, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Australia. The restaurant is known for its exceptional service. I recently tried their lunch special in Akihabara, Tokyo, which includes hot pot set for 1680 yen with a DIY sauce bar. The hot pot is more about the sauce than the soup, and you can customize your own sauce at the bar. The lunch set also includes a choice of soup and a variety of dishes, including noodles. It's a great deal and a delicious experience, so I recommend trying it out before the end of May!

This is a hot pot specialty restaurant located in a building in front of Akihabara Station. The interior is not traditional but has a Chinese-like decor, and most of the customers seem to be Chinese. The staff are also Chinese, and communication in Japanese is somewhat possible. The authentic atmosphere adds to the experience. When it comes to hot pot, there are plenty of customization options available. You can choose from various types of soup, with options like 4 different kinds. There are also many types of soup bases to choose from. For spicy soups like the ma la, you can select the level of spiciness and numbness. The variety of condiments is extensive and adds to the excitement. The seafood miso soup was particularly delicious. As for the taste, it is amazing. It's spicy and numbing, yet full of umami and really delicious. The performance of eating Kung Fu noodles at the end is quite impressive and recommended. All this at a reasonable price. The soup soaks in well and tastes delicious. Among the hot pot specialty restaurants I've visited recently, this may be the best. Thank you for the meal.

I felt like having hot pot after a long time, so I made a reservation at the Haidilao Hot Pot in Akihabara. When I arrived at the restaurant, I noticed that most of the staff and customers were Chinese, and there was a lot of Chinese being spoken. The proportion of Japanese people was overwhelmingly low, making me feel like I was traveling in China. I personally think that this restaurant is one of the top in terms of taste and service among hot pot restaurants. Haidilao Hot Pot has a luxurious interior, and even offers a free nail salon. They had Dyson dryers in the restroom. This time, I reserved the limited-time "Selected Course [Color]" for the New Year's season. The course included a variety of vegetables, enoki mushrooms, tofu, pork shoulder loin, premium beef, seasoned beef, imitation crab meat, squid, sweet potato glass noodles, almond jelly, mala soup, clear soup, course-exclusive all-you-can-drink, and a sauce bar. The all-you-can-drink menu included basic drinks like draft beer, highballs, and sours. (Shaoxing wine and sake were not included). The staff efficiently served the dishes. While the soup was warming up, I went to the sauce bar to create several sauces like sesame oil with garlic, sesame sauce, and others. I tried the soup first, and the clear soup was light, while the mala soup was quite spicy. I used the sauce to alleviate the spiciness. In addition to the above, I also ordered lamb, pork shoulder loin, fried tofu, and a special vegetable platter. All the ingredients were fresh and delicious. I planned to finish with the Kung Fu noodles performance, but I was too full to try it. When I left, there were many customers waiting. My experience at Haidilao Hot Pot after a long time was excellent. I want to visit again this season. Yummy!

After my daughter's piano recital, we moved to an early dinner with my parents who came to watch. We went to "Hai Di Lao" hot pot restaurant in Akihabara, which is the largest hot pot chain in China and landed in Japan about 7 years ago. In China, there were free nail services during the waiting time, but I wonder if they offer it in Japan too (probably not due to the pandemic). You order through a tablet, and there are Chinese staff at the table who are fluent in Japanese and can recommend various items. We ordered the most popular "Value Course @3,278 yen" for 4 people. It includes beef, pork, fish, vegetable assortment, and glass noodles. We chose two types of soup, a non-spicy white broth, and a numbingly spicy mala soup. The ingredients kept coming, and you can cook the meat and vegetables as you like. The white broth is not spicy, so it's safe for kids. The mala soup can be customized for spiciness level. They have a variety of condiments to customize your own dipping sauce, which is fun. The staff are very helpful and most of them speak Japanese well. They also provide a leaflet on how to enjoy hot pot. They gave my daughter a toy as a gift, and she loved the snacks they offered. We also ordered some appetizers like spicy pig ears, spicy chicken feet, handmade mung bean jelly, and spicy chicken wings. The service was detailed, and the staff were attentive. It was a great experience overall.

This triangular snack tastes similar to Tondagari Corn and is delicious. The Kung Fu noodles were also good today. The waiter was attentive and charming, and I liked that he brought his own music source. This was my first time in Shanghai, and even though the menu and interior were different, I still enjoyed this restaurant.

It seems to be a very popular restaurant in China, and I was invited to visit by a friend who is stationed there. All the customers seemed to be 100% Chinese, and the staff were also 100% Chinese, creating a truly foreign atmosphere. The restaurant had a casual feel like a family restaurant, but the hot pot was delicious and the service was good.

Recommended by a colleague at work, I visited this restaurant for the first time. Most of the staff were Chinese, and about half of the customers seemed to be of Chinese descent. The menu was extensive, with a variety of soups, ingredients, appetizers, etc., making it quite difficult to choose. They offer recommended set courses and all-you-can-drink options, so leaving it up to them is also possible. The soup with motsu (offal) was delicious. We ordered items a la carte such as tongue, pork kalbi, loin, lamb, seafood, rice... and with 4-5 drinks and dishes for 5 people, the total came to around 35,500 yen. It wasn't particularly expensive or cheap, but the interior was flashy like a cabaret club, with performances like mask-changing, noodle-making, birthday surprises, nail art, etc., making it enjoyable as a show.

I ordered individual items instead of a set course. I wanted to try various soups, so I chose four different kinds. They had soups like a Thai-style Tom Kha Gai, spicy ones, and even ones with kombu dashi. This time, I selected white broth with kombu dashi, Thai-style, and super spicy soups. I tried mixing different seasonings, but I learned that adding the spicy one would overpower the taste. The Thai-style soup was delicious, and I ended up drinking it all up at the end. The rumored excellent service was indeed true. They promptly refilled the soup when it ran low, helped with adding ingredients, and even came over when I was unsure about ordering on the tablet. The two-hour time limit was enough, and I left feeling satisfied. There were even a few solo diners on a weekend night. This place might be good for solo hot pot dining in Akihabara.

At Hai Di Lao Hot Pot in Akihabara, they offer a 4-color hot pot with exceptional hospitality that sets them apart from other restaurants. This popular hot pot spot from China provides updated services and entertainment that you won't find elsewhere in Japan, such as Kung Fu noodles, free nail services, a changing face show, and mysterious Dyson dryers in the restroom. You can also enjoy customizing your hot pot with a variety of sauces, allowing you to experience the authentic way of eating in China.

Located on the 5th floor of a building right outside the Akihabara Station Showa-dori exit, you will find Haidilao Hot Pot, a famous chain known for its top-notch service in China. They prepare the soup for you and help you cook the ingredients in the hot pot, offering service that surpasses Japanese standards. I have visited their restaurants in China before, but this was my first time in Japan. The system is simple: first, select the soup base (I chose a set of clear broth and spicy broth), then choose your meats and vegetables for the shabu-shabu. I personally like beef tripe and tofu skin. The sauce options include sesame sauce, scallions and garlic, cilantro, and spicy oil. The sesame sauce is slightly tangy, perfect for shabu-shabu. They also offer hand-pulled noodles, which is a fun performance to watch. Most of the customers were Chinese, creating a modern Chinese atmosphere that I enjoyed. Despite the casual image of Chinese hot pot restaurants, this place is clean and has a touch of luxury. However, it is on the pricey side. Due to the current situation, I haven't been able to visit China for a while, so this experience brought back fond memories of my time there.

The hot pot is really delicious. The downside is that the choices for the soup base in the lunch set are limited. I really wanted it to be spicy, so I paid extra. The portion is quite large. In terms of cost performance, it's okay. I think you can get it at a reasonable price for hot pot. The seasoning buffet is fun. There are cucumbers and lychees, which are great for refreshing your palate. Personally, I like the fermented bean paste. The service is impeccable with detailed explanations, thoughtful gestures, and dessert served at the end. I experienced authentic Chinese hospitality.

Both the employees and customers are mostly Chinese. The service is very polite. The restroom is amazing! There are hair dryers, but the reason is unknown, haha. You can mix your own dipping sauce, which is fun! They provide aprons. You can choose from 4 types of soup, which I like.

Overall, the service was excellent and reasonably priced. You can fully enjoy the taste and service of authentic Chinese cuisine. If I feel like having hot pot again, I will definitely come back to this restaurant. I chose this restaurant for a holiday dinner. Location is about a 2-minute walk from Akihabara Station. I had the value set (2,980 yen) with all-you-can-drink alcohol (1,600 yen). I visited on a Saturday around 5:00 PM. The seating was about half full at that time, but it became almost full by 6:00 PM. It seems better to make a reservation for dinner time. Service: - You order by sitting at your table and using the iPad menu for touch screen ordering. - When ordering individual items instead of a course, you can register the restaurant's account (username and phone number) for a 5% discount each time. - The interior facilities were sparkling clean as the restaurant opened in July 2021. - The cleaning was perfect, allowing us to enjoy our meal with peace of mind. - Cutlery and water were provided by the staff. - The waitstaff were mostly Chinese and could communicate well in Japanese. - The service level was excellent considering the price range. - The atmosphere was filled with Chinese customers, and the staff were also Chinese, creating an immersive experience. - There was no seasoning on the table, but you could create your own sauce at the sauce counter. Taste review: - The restaurant's unique feature is the "sauce counter" where you can blend your own sauce from 24 condiments and seasonings. - I recommend the "seafood sauce," "mushroom sauce," and "special soy sauce" blend with ingredients like celery, coriander, spring onion, garlic, and ground sesame. - The sauce counter also provided snacks while waiting for the pot to boil. - You can choose between plain and spicy soup; I chose plain and spicy soup this time. - The spicy soup had adjustable spiciness levels and paired well with the meat and vegetables. - The meats provided were thinly sliced beef, pork loin, and Spam, all of decent quality for the price. - The white fish provided went well with the spicy soup, enhancing the flavors. - The vegetables included Chinese cabbage, enoki mushrooms, mountain vegetables, and fuki. Overall, the experience was great, and I would recommend this restaurant for those looking to enjoy authentic Chinese hot pot.

It got cold, so I decided to visit a hot pot restaurant that I had been curious about. The spacious interior was filled with Chinese customers and staff, making me feel like I was truly in China. I ordered a set meal and started by choosing the hot pot soup. I enjoyed the experience of selecting my own condiments and sauces. It was quite fun!

The popular Chinese hot pot chain "Hai Di Lao" has arrived in Akihabara! With over 1,000 stores in China, this giant chain has expanded to countries like Singapore, the UK, and the US. Its first store in Japan opened in Ikebukuro in September 2015, and since then, it has slowly expanded to locations like Shinjuku, Makuhari, Shinsaibashi, and Kobe Sannomiya. In 2020, new stores opened in Machida, Yokohama Station, Yokohama Chinatown, Kawasaki, and Fukuoka, bringing the total to 10 stores in Japan. The Akihabara store is the 11th, with a Ueno store also set to open this month. It seems like they are trying to surpass the previously established hot pot chain, Xiao Fei Yang. The service at Hai Di Lao is exceptional, with cute female staff members taking care of everything from the moment you sit down. They even provide complimentary snacks like watermelon and green bean soup. The menu includes a variety of soup bases and ingredients that you can order using an iPad. The meat is delicious, and the sauce bar allows you to create your dipping sauces. The restaurant also offers a special where you get a free beer when you order one. The experience includes noodle stretching performances and high-quality amenities like Dyson dryers in the restroom. The bill was discounted by 30%, and we received a paper bag filled with goodies as a souvenir. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable dining experience at Hai Di Lao in Akihabara.
