I have been coming to this place quite often recently, but I finally made it to this super sento that I had been putting off for another errand. It has a somewhat elegant atmosphere, so I think it's more like a spa than a super sento. I enjoyed the hot springs, carbonated baths, and sauna, and now I'm here at this restaurant feeling refreshed and dehydrated. Here's what I ordered: - Draft beer - Salted koji marinated Genghis Khan set meal - Snack set (draft beer, edamame, pickled cucumbers in miso) I started with the draft beer, which was delicious with a generous amount. The Genghis Khan had a rich seasoning that paired well with the beer. I couldn't resist ordering another beer with the snack set.

After going to the sauna, I had highballs, beer, lemon sour, and miso ramen. The taste was average, neither good nor bad. It was like a service area ramen in terms of taste, and the alcohol was also average. Nothing remarkable. However, the prices were high. The sauna was great. The 14-degree cold water bath tightened my body, and in addition to the regular sauna, there was also a salt sauna, making the environment perfect.

It had been a while since I had a meal that missed the mark. I didn't have high expectations for the food served at the bathing facility, but considering the somewhat high price and the beautiful interior, I was expecting something decent. However, when I tried ordering various items, all that came out was food made from mass-produced frozen ingredients. I recommend eating at the nearby food court instead.

Today's brunch was at Haneda Airport's "Izumi Tenku no Yu Ariake Kitchen". I couldn't change the flight time because I had a non-changeable campaign ticket. I have 3 hours and 30 minutes until departure. I can't drink alcohol because I'll be driving a rental car at my destination. I thought about watching a movie, but there is no movie theater at Haneda Airport. I remembered that there was a hot spring facility in the recently opened Villa Fontaine Hotel. I searched and found out that the entrance fee is 4,800 yen. After much deliberation, I decided to give it a try and entered the hot spring. It was evening, so it was a perfect time to wash away the day's fatigue and sweat, but it was not crowded. Perhaps the high entrance fee is the reason? However, the hot spring had a yellowish color and was slightly salty, which is expected for a hot spring near the sea. The sauna, cold water bath, and outdoor air bath were all clean and wonderful. Considering that you can relax in the bedrock bath as much as you want, maybe 4,800 yen is not that expensive after all. After sweating profusely, it was time to rehydrate. Since I couldn't drink beer, I opted for the sauna favorite drink Oropon (a mix of Oronamin C and Pocari Sweat). The refreshing Pocari Sweat with the carbonation of Oronamin C is becoming popular among sauna enthusiasts for its great taste after a sauna session. I had 6 bottles of sauna for 10 minutes each and 1 bottle of bedrock bath for 40 minutes, so my body was craving hydration. I made Oropon, drank it in two gulps, and it was delicious! "Oh, I forgot to take a picture..." I was ready for my journey.

I had a beer after enjoying a rock bath and hot spring. The lounge seems to be available in casual clothes or in the facility's attire. I ended up borrowing the facility's attire, but it was a relaxing atmosphere where you can freely read books, so I thought it would be nice to stop by if you have time.

The classic course at the sauna includes Orpo and ice for quick hydration and sweetness. It's starting to get a little cold. The restaurant and rest area are spacious and relaxing. There are also remote workers here. Taking a bath, enjoying the sauna, working, eating, working... taking a bath again, it's the best. The food menu is also substantial, you can enjoy a meal here as well.

Under the lesson of taking care of oneself, I enjoyed Okinawa soba at the Ami Garden's Izumi Tenku no Yu, followed by a visit to the Ami Kitchen within the facility. After sweating a lot in the sauna and rock bath, the salt replenishment from the Okinawa soba was much needed. There were several menu options besides Okinawa soba, but due to the urgent hunger after exerting more energy than expected in the sauna, I quickly ordered the Okinawa soba with a short boiling time and a salty flavor. After finishing the meal and drink, I rested in the relaxation room which was spacious and equipped with cushions and blankets. Then, I indulged in another round of sauna! Afterwards, I replenished my body with cold Oropon that chilled my throat. At that moment, I realized that this facility might be perfect for a significant increase in quality of life. On my day off, I decided to go to my favorite sauna, Izumi Tenku no Yu Ariake Garden. After enjoying the sauna and cold bath, I headed to Ariake Kitchen for lunch by myself. I ordered Oropon and Black Tantanmen as shown in the picture. The Oropon was a bit pricey at 500 yen, but the Black Tantanmen wasn't too spicy. It was a good way to replenish salt, minerals, and vitamins after sweating in the sauna. The hot spring was great, so I would like to visit again.

There is a dining place at Sui Tenku no Yu in Ariake Garden. Super sento is best enjoyed on a weekday lunchtime. After taking a bath and sweating, cheers with a big beer and a sandwich set for lunch! I had a garlic shrimp sandwich as a snack with a large beer. The filling consisted of potato salad with shrimp and garlic, which was delicious, but the bread was a bit dry. My friend had the Hokkaido Fair sweet and spicy pork bowl, which he said was tasty. Then we took a nap and continued drinking during Happy Hour. Oops, I forgot to go to the sauna... I guess it's better to give up on it for today. There are regular prices and discounted member prices. I signed up for Villa Fontaine membership for free and thought I could get the member price by showing the app when ordering, but it turns out I needed to mention it during payment. I will definitely go back!

Due to the typhoon, my usual public bath was closed, so I thought of coming here instead. Since it seemed windy and rainy outside, I decided to have a late and light lunch here after detoxing at the public bath. Today marks the start of alcohol being allowed, but I resisted and ordered tonkotsu ramen. It arrived in about 8 minutes, looking very authentic with thickly sliced char siu that was quite appealing. The soup was rich with little smell, and the thin noodles were cooked al dente. It was very delicious! I spent a relaxing 2 hours and 10 minutes here, enjoying both the bath and the meal. The sauna is good, and the restaurant is relatively high quality. However, the prices are a bit high, reflecting the facility costs. The facility has a Sumitomo Real Estate feel to it, and there are some aspects of the service that are a bit lacking. I like iced coffee and drink it often. The Ice Brew Sauna, which looks like beer, is of very high quality, so that is also taken into account in this rating.

The cut steak was a bit tough, but the sauce was delicious. The pork tenderloin cutlet was larger than shown in the menu photo, and the meat was tender and tasty. It was a nice touch to have two types of sauce, grated ponzu and regular sauce, served with it. Thank you for the meal.

Visited during lunch on a holiday. This hot spring facility is located in Ariake Garden, which quietly opened last year. It is known for having one of the best salt saunas in Tokyo, so it was my first visit. The inside is clean and spacious, with two types of saunas: salt sauna and dry sauna. After sweating it out, I enjoyed a drink at the shop inside. I ordered a beer, mentaiko tamago udon set, and edamame. The udon set came with inari sushi and hijiki, and it was delicious! The post-bath beer is the ultimate reward, and even though I forgot why I went to the sauna in the first place, it was a great meal.

The "Horoyoi Set" (1000) was disappointing for the price, but the spa facilities here are excellent! The Chicken and Mushroom Cream Stew Plate (1380), Tender Pork Cutlet Set (1340), Seafood Soup Curry (1380), Sardine and Shimeji Mushroom with Yuzu Pepper Saute (1080), and Sausage Grill & Potato Fry (790) were all on the expensive side. It took 30 minutes to get our first drink, which was a bit forgetful! But a drink after a bath is the best. Overall, the spa alone deserves 4 stars!

2020.12 [Revisit] This time I ordered the Hirekatsu set meal for 1380 yen! The raw vegetables, pickles, rice, and soup are exactly the same as the steak set meal! The Hirekatsu is cut into bite-sized pieces, making it easy to eat. It can be enjoyed with either ponzu sauce with grated daikon or a sweet sauce. The meat is tender and the frying is crispy and just right. I recommend this over the steak set meal! The rice is chewy and delicious. It may not be enough for men, but it's just the right amount for women.

In December 2020, I visited a restaurant located inside the spa facility "Sento Sora no Yu" in Ariake Garden, a 5-minute walk from the International Exhibition Hall on the Rinkai Line. I visited on a weekday night and the facility was quite empty due to its low recognition. The restaurant also had many empty seats. The menu was not very consistent and had a limited selection. They offered mainly Japanese cuisine, sake appetizers, hamburgers, sandwiches, etc. This time, I tried the Angus beef steak set for 1,380 yen. The steak was of medium size, with chewy texture due to the tendons, and slightly firm overall. It was easy to eat with the onion sauce. The fresh vegetables were crisp and refreshing. The rice was perfectly cooked and the pickled eggplant complemented it well. The miso soup was a bit salty and tasted a bit like instant soup. The portion size was a bit small, so it felt a bit lacking in quantity. As for COVID-19 measures, they checked body temperature upon entry, staff wore masks, and there was alcohol disinfection available, so no issues in that regard.

While shopping, I stopped by the hot springs. Maybe due to the impact of the coronavirus, it was quite empty and I was able to relax. They had hot springs, saunas, bedrock baths, and relaxation areas. Everything inside the hot spring facility was operated using a key for the locker, which was convenient. I wanted to have a beer, but since I was driving, I settled for a cola float, which was also great. The restaurant had a decent menu with reasonable prices, but I opted for yakisoba to satisfy my hunger. Overall, I was very satisfied with the hot springs and facilities, even though the restaurant was just okay.

On July 5, 2020, I visited a long-term hotel and started to miss taking baths. Ooedo Onsen Monogatari was closed, so I found another place that was open. I visited the facility in the rain, hoping it wouldn't be too crowded. I entered at 11 am and had my temperature checked and used hand sanitizer at the entrance. The facility seemed to have a limit on the number of people allowed in at once. The baths and sauna were operating as usual. The rest area had spaced out seating and was not crowded. I had the following at the dining area: Draft beer for 700 yen, Carbonara Rosso for 1320 yen. You pay for your order at the locker when you leave. The portions were small, but it was average for this type of facility. The dishes were stylish, but the taste was just okay. Overall, I was satisfied and full. Thank you for the meal.
