They offer a variety of drinks including beer, shochu highball, sake, whiskey, etc. The "Daitouryou Special Stew" for 420 yen is the signature dish that almost everyone orders. It comes with motsu and tofu stew, konjac, and green onions on a large plate. The motsu here is made from horse offal and has a refreshing taste without any strong flavors. The miso flavor is light and unexpectedly delicious. The "Kashira Salt" for 180 yen is another popular choice. Although you have to order 2 skewers, the price is quite reasonable at 180 yen. The pork cheek is flavorful and delicious, showing a clear difference from the frozen variety that is often served with sauce. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it tasted. We also had a "Bottle of Beer (large)" for 580 yen and a "Lemon Sour" for 350 yen. Adding a "Naka" for 250 yen, the total bill came to 1780 yen, which was a straightforward calculation. Despite hearing mixed reviews about the motsu, the quality turned out to be better than expected. However, the fat often sells out quickly, so I always order it first. Other cuts are usually available. This time, I tried to order harami (skirt steak), but unfortunately, they didn't have it in stock yet. Nevertheless, the yakitori I ordered was delicious as always and satisfying. Since the cuts come in sets of two, if you're dining alone, you have to eat the same cut twice, which might be challenging for light eaters. I prefer eating the same cut twice, so it's perfect for me (laughs). I easily finished eight sticks this time, but I still could've eaten more. Day drinking at the sacred place of Akachochin, "Daitoryo". Motsu-ni, Hoppy set, Namero, and Sakura Yukke. With this lineup, they win.
