Visited around 2pm on Sunday. It was a bit past lunchtime so I thought it wouldn't be too crowded, but the restaurant was almost full and there was a line to order. However, the turnover was fast so I got a seat while waiting to order. I had a light-sized burrito and a quesadilla plus potato set. The burrito was enough in size and filled with lots of ingredients, delicious! If you're really hungry, you could go for the regular size. I love Mexican food so I want to eat here again.

I saw this shop in Sydney about 7 years ago and had been curious about it ever since. Finally, I had the chance to visit. This time, I ordered the beef quesadilla and potatoes. It was really delicious. Among the casual Mexican restaurants, I thought the taste and portion size were excellent. Especially the beef quesadilla was the best. The beef was delicious, the portion size was good, and I already want to eat it again.

In Harajuku, you can eat a burrito bowl at Guzman y Gomez Laforet Harajuku store. There is also a Lolita clothing brand in Laforet Harajuku, where you can enjoy Mexican cuisine! You can eat on the second floor, either before or after checking out the clothes. The food is not too strong in flavor and easy to eat. Some people come alone, while others come with friends. There are various shops in the food area, like a small food court. Some people were working on their laptops. I tried the burrito bowl that was not wrapped at that time. It had a hint of spice and a slight taste of coriander, which added to the flavor. It can be a hearty meal or a light meal. It's a good time to enjoy the taste of a different country.

It's midday on the weekend and it's crowded as expected inside Laforet Harajuku. I just managed to secure a table and ordered a 2-piece taco set. I chose the vegetable and chicken tacos. Tacos are great because you can eat unlimited vegetables. But be careful because the sauce tends to drip a lot. The potatoes have a BBQ seasoning which I liked. They were fluffy and satisfying. The set came with potatoes and a drink for 1,430 yen. I was pleasantly full after the meal. It was recommended by Yoshida Yo, so I tried the sheep meat dish!

I ordered nachos. With additional chips and a drink, it came to around 2000 yen. It was delicious, but honestly, I think the cost performance is just okay. Since it seems easy to dine alone, if I suddenly feel like eating Mexican food again, I might come back.

I visited for the first time and I was really impressed. The balance of the meat, rice, and cheese in the burrito was perfect and delicious. It's been a while since my last visit. I went to the Laforet Harajuku store over the weekend. I thought it would be crowded, but I was able to find a seat more easily than I expected. I ordered the Burrito Light set for around 1200 yen. It's a half-size of a regular burrito, but it was a good size. The skin was thick and a bit hard, making it easier to eat as the filling doesn't spill out easily. The meat was tender and delicious, with rice and beans as the main ingredients. The potato had a tangy flavor and was tasty. However, compared to Takorico in Roppongi Midtown, which is my number one burrito place, it falls a bit short.

Well, on the second day in Tokyo, I decided to visit a restaurant that was recommended by a TV show I like called "Banana Man Himura Walking" on BS-TBS. The location was Laforet Harajuku in Harajuku, Tokyo. I always visit this area when I go to Tokyo, but Laforet is more of a place for young people, so I was a bit hesitant to go there as an old man. I was a bit lost even just coming up to the second floor (laughs). The restaurant that was recommended by Himura was apparently an Australian-Mexican kitchen, specializing in burritos. I asked the kind lady at the counter for recommendations since it was my first time there. I ended up ordering a burrito, potatoes, and a cola set. I waited at a small table in the back, not knowing what kind of food to expect. After about 10 minutes, my order was ready. I picked up my burrito, which I ordered with spices and fish. The taste was quite ethnic or Mexican, I guess. There were a lot of foreign customers, and it seemed popular with young people. I might want to try a different dish next time.

My son was disappointed with the World Trigger event in Shibuya that he wanted to go to. However, when a staff member at the event in Shibuya Parco mentioned that there was also a World Trigger event at Laforet Harajuku, we decided to check it out the following week. Even though the information was uncertain, my son managed to calm me down by suggesting we have lunch there since the place looked delicious. We ordered the Burrito Set in half size, which was just the right portion for us. The set came with a choice of French fries or corn chips, and a drink. My son chose the chicken burrito with French fries and apple juice, while I opted for the Nacho Fries Set with fish and corn chips, and ginger ale. Both of us enjoyed our meals, especially the fish which reminded us of the fish and chips we had in England. The corn chips were also a hit, being lighter and tastier than regular potato chips. We even brought some home to share with my husband, who also found them delicious. My son, who loves potatoes, was generous enough to share with his dad, showing their sibling-like relationship.

I went to a restaurant at the intersection of Omotesando and had a burrito at Laforet Harajuku. I thought it would be a light lunch, but the burrito was quite filling, which explains why there were so many students there. It's hard to find places that serve burritos, but it was really delicious. I would love to have it again if I get the chance.

The weather was nice, so I took my dogs for a walk in Yoyogi Park. It was lunchtime, so we decided to buy some bread in Harajuku. While waiting at the Laforet intersection, my daughter suggested getting tacos. I haven't had tacos much before, just once at Taco Bell in Silicon Valley. We decided to go for it. We got various toppings and headed to Yoyogi Park with our paper bags. I tried the fish, pork, and beef tacos, all of them were delicious. Adding jalapeno pickles made it even tastier! Eating tacos outdoors in good weather made them even more delicious.

Slightly had to work overtime unexpectedly, so had to change plans and rush to a beauty salon that could accommodate a same-day reservation. With a little time to spare, grabbed a bite to eat. With only fast food or ramen as options, decided to dive into the taco shop on the 2nd floor of Laforet. Ordered the burrito set (930 yen) with spicy pork as the main filling. The side was potatoes and the drink was hot coffee. Got a buzzer and was called after about 5 minutes. Oh? It seems like there's more spiciness compared to when I had it in Shibuya before (and the price is cheaper, which is nice). This is good.

Christmas limited set. Tacos, burritos, potatoes, and a drink for 1300 yen. I'm not really good at tacos, but they were delicious! I forgot to make the shell soft haha, but even the hard shell was delicious. The burrito had rice and beans in it, which surprised me because I've never had that before! I think it's worth trying to eat it with just vegetables and meat.

It seems like there is a popular line here, and I decided to try the tacos. The ordering process is a bit confusing. The menu is hard to read! I got 2 light tacos for 600 yen, with chicken and guacamole. I also ordered mini potato fries for 200 yen. I'm not sure about the difference between tacos and light tacos. But they are crispy and delicious. It's probably because I don't have them often, so they taste good! There are a lot of foreigners here, so I wish there were Japanese descriptions. The pictures should be bigger too. It's a shame they don't have set menus.

I had a little errand at Laforet, so I stopped by. I was hungry and wanted to eat something, so I chose this Australian fast food chain specializing in Mexican cuisine called "Guzman y Gomez." I chose the chicken burrito, which was filled with salsa sauce, coriander rice, cheese, and beans, making it very filling. The tortilla was thick, and overall, it felt like eating in Mexico or the Caribbean with rice included. It's amazing for Japanese people to see rice in a burrito, but they claim it's healthy, which is probably a lie, haha. I chose the spicy sauce, but it wasn't too hot, so it was easy to eat. For fast food, I think the quality is quite high. Thank you for the meal!

Located in Laforet Harajuku, this Mexican spot may look like a restaurant but it's actually a fast food joint. You order at the counter, receive a buzzer, and wait at your seat. The interior is not very spacious but not cramped either, with acrylic dividers between tables for safety. You can enjoy your meal while overlooking Meiji Street. The specialty here is the burrito, which was satisfying in both portion size and taste. Even though it's fast food, the flavors are authentic and not lacking compared to a Mexican restaurant. I was able to feel full with a regular-sized burrito. However, the ordering process was a bit confusing. Being a first-timer, I was frozen at the register trying to figure out the menu, with no guidance from the staff. I ended up ordering a set and choosing the meat for the burrito, a side dish, and a drink in order, which is a typical fast food order. But I was asked about toppings and spice level, and I wasn't sure which item they were referring to. For example, when I asked for guacamole as a topping, it came mixed into the burrito, and the spice level was for the side dish of potatoes. It would have been helpful if the staff provided more guidance during the ordering process.

I ordered all 6 types of tacos, all made with corn flour (gluten-free). ⭐️Hard or soft⭐️Mild or spicy⭐️ It's fun to be able to choose all types of tacos! I was a bit flustered at the order counter because I didn't know, so it's best to decide in advance. After receiving my order, I discovered a paradise space... the GYG SALSA STATION!! It was a self-serve station with 3 types of hot sauce. And then, I found something that pushed me further into the Guzman world - cilantro, jalapeno, and onions! How generous and amazing is that?! *Soft shell: beef, fish, vegetable + guacamole Hard shell: chicken, pork, steak* Personally, I prefer soft shell tacos. The fish and vegetable + guacamole were especially delicious. For meat options, I liked the beef and pork. The ability to add extra sauce and toppings for free is one of Guzman's charms. Also, they have a 'GYG Japan 5th Anniversary Campaign' where you can get any size of fries for 150 yen until February 29th. I ordered the regular size, and it was seasoned and delicious. I ate a lot for lunch, so I decided to have a salad for dinner. I ordered a regular-sized salad with guacamole topping. The chicken I chose was not spicy, but it had a strong aroma of spices, which might be too much for children. I love both salsa sauce and guacamole, so I was very satisfied with the taste. However, I expected the portion to be larger for the price, so I should have ordered the larger size. Next time, I want to try ordering chips, guacamole, and salsa sauce a la carte. I want to eat chips with plenty of guacamole!

Lunch at Laforet. There were fewer people in Omotesando, but Harajuku was crowded! It's a youthful town. Had a quick lunch at Guzman. Got one hard and one soft taco, with chicken and beef, topped with jalapeños. They call you with a buzzer. I like the chewy chicken. Realized I prefer double soft tacos over hard tacos. But it was too much trouble to change so I just ate them as they were. Hard tacos always make me feel like I'm snacking instead of having a meal. Hmm. Next time, I'll get both in soft tacos.
