Nakano Station South Exit, 6 minutes walk. The owner, an elderly gentleman, handles everything by himself. He is very friendly. The counter seats 8 people, and there are tables for 3 or 4 people. The radio baseball broadcast was playing. The place is full of regular customers. The atmosphere is great, with a woody feel. Smoking is allowed. I ordered a bottled beer for 420 yen, simmered dish with eggs for 360 yen, and 2 chicken wings for 220 yen. The chicken wings were large and delicious, especially when grilled with salt. The simmered dish was very flavorful, with plenty of eggs. The eggs were firm and rich in flavor, which was great. Overall, the dishes were rich in flavor and went well with drinks. The portion size was quite generous. I felt that it was better than the three major simmered dishes. The bill came out to exactly 1000 yen, which was just right for a casual drink. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but it's a great place. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived right after the opening, so there was only one customer before me. But around 4:30, regular customers started coming in one after another, and it became lively. Everyone was friendly, and I had a great time.

Today, I visited this place. It seems to have a connection with Yakito in Ogikubo so I decided to check it out. From the outside, the restaurant looked very busy. As soon as I entered, all eyes were on me (laughs). The owner asked how many people were in my group, and then led us to a large table at the back. I ordered a bottle of beer. Each time I placed an order, it seemed to draw attention. Cheers! For snacks... the owner came over to ask for our preferences. - Stewed dish: Hmm... not quite there. It has a unique smell. - Grilled meat: A bit dry. Not the best. - Hoppy beer set, please. I prefer more beer than soda. - Tsukune: Hmm... - Stuffed pepper: Tastes better when eaten with tsukune on top. - Liver: Pretty good! - Chicken wings: The best! Absolutely delicious! Overall... similar to Ogikubo, there were many regular customers. The bill was double-checked by regulars. Alcohol was a bit pricey but the food was affordable. However, compared to the squid in Ogikubo, the quality here was lacking... Perhaps this place is more for regulars to gather and enjoy drinks. Thank you for the meal.

Visited on Saturday at 7:00 PM. There were 3 groups of customers, all couples or married. A regular couple in their 30s and someone in their 60s were chatting excitedly about tomorrow's horse racing. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. We ordered a bottle of beer for 430 yen and simmered eggs for 370 yen. The simmered dish was well cooked with a rich flavor and color. The hormone dish included various parts and the seasoning with miso created a complex and layered taste. This is a recommended place for those who have recently moved to Nakano and want to make friends or for those who want to experience the atmosphere and food of Nakano. Today's drinking party: After work solo drinking. Before visiting the shop I am indebted to for the year-end greetings, I peeked into this always crowded shop and found a seat available, so I entered. Stewed offal (with eggs) (360 yen): Various parts of offal and konjac are stewed together. The soy sauce-based broth with white fat melting in it has a light seasoning but is rich in flavor. The eggs are hard-boiled. Cartilage (110 yen): It is grilled cartilage. The slightly spicy miso goes well with it. Liver (110 yen): The sticky liver also goes well with the slightly spicy miso. Tsukune (110 yen): It is a slightly firm meatball. This also goes well with the slightly spicy miso. I had one bottle of draft beer (Super Dry medium bottle, 420 yen) and one glass of oolong highball (310 yen). The counter facing the kitchen sees a constant turnover of regular customers. A potential customer who tried to enter after me seemed overwhelmed and ended up leaving without entering. If you take the plunge and enter, the master and regular customers will kindly welcome you. The female owner of "Yakiya" in Ogikubo, run by her husband, served us on our first visit. We ordered white Hoppy and garlic, medium. They do not offer dishes like squid sashimi from Ogikubo here, as indicated by a sign. The customers are all regulars. The garlic was delicious and had a nice texture. Thank you for the meal.

After finishing work in the area, I explored Nakano and found this place. It seems like an old man manages everything for around 15 people. A regular customer next to me taught me how to use the self-ordering system. It's a unique system that I don't dislike, thanks to the good manners of the Japanese people. The food and drinks are cheap here. I had four glasses of Hoppy and got quite drunk for just around 1,000 yen. I didn't order it, but the pickled mackerel looked delicious. The simmered dish had a strong smell, more suitable for advanced palates. It's a great place loved by the locals. I'll definitely come back.

Standing bar located in a shopping street south of Nakano Station. I went there on a weekday evening. It was still a bit early, with only one other customer. Started with a beer. The foam was a bit excessive, but not a big deal. The regular yakitori wasn't ready yet, so I had to pass on that. Liver, heart, and tsukune were available. The liver had a slight hint of odor. The heart was a bit salty but not bad. The tsukune had a strange aroma, not sure if it was intentional or if something transferred during preparation. Had some other concerns as well, so I decided it just wasn't the right place for me and left. In the end, I was able to drink for less than 1000 yen.

A laid-back, cozy standing bar with a fluffy atmosphere. The regular customers were friendly and the place felt like home. The staff were also very attractive and made the experience enjoyable. I had beer, pickled vegetables, 2 chicken wings, and 2 chicken cartilage for 950 yen. When I got the bill, I was surprised (laughs).

I went to Nakano for the first time and didn't know any shops, so I wandered around wondering where to go. Then I happened to find this place and was overwhelmed by its atmosphere and liveliness, so I decided to go in. The menu was cheap and got me excited! It's a standing bar, so I nibbled on some food and left the shop early. The grilled dishes were delicious, but the Simesaba was also good. I'm satisfied to have found a good shop in an unknown town. Visited in March 2019.

This is a shop run by elderly people. So, don't expect quick service or efficiency haha. Drinks and food are very cheap. If you can tolerate that, you can definitely have a good time here. The quality of the food may vary. Grilled dishes are generally not very tasty. It's recommended to enjoy simmered dishes, squid, pickled mackerel, with bottled beer or hoppy.

A standing bar near Nakano Station. The atmosphere is great, with a strong sense of tradition. The food and drinks are very cheap, making it easy to have a good time without spending much. The senbero (cheap set of food and drinks) is a must-try. Delicious. If it were nearby, I would definitely make it my go-to spot for a quick drink every time.

The ordered menu, simmered motsu was the main dish with a salt-based, comforting flavor! It was really good!! The yakitori was nothing special, but it was fine to eat without any complaints. As for the alcohol, it was really not delicious... Unfortunately, I couldn't have a second drink with that disappointing drink.

If it were nearby, it would be a dangerous store. When I entered at 16:15, there were already 3 customers. By the time I left the store at 17:00, the counter was full. The Hoppy with umeboshi was not bad.

It's a popular restaurant, so even after 5 pm, it's still crowded.

I went to Noda. It was a good restaurant. It's not the type of place you stay for a long time, but the lady is friendly, it's cheap, and the food is delicious.
