I was taken to this restaurant by a gourmet acquaintance. It is located about a 3-minute walk from Akihabara Station Showa-dori exit. The wooden stylish pillar-like sign is the landmark. Going down to the basement floor, you will find the entrance to the restaurant. The interior has counter seats and sunken kotatsu-style seats, giving off a calm and traditional atmosphere. The counter and walls are lined with a variety of rare sake bottles collected by the owner. The first recommended point of this restaurant is the abundant collection of rare sake. Sake and shochu lovers will be overwhelmed by the selection. The owner's knowledge of sake is as rich as the number of bottles, so you will surely find a drink that suits you. The second recommended point is the freshness of the fish. Any dish you choose will be a hit. The ingredients are personally sourced by the owner at the market in the morning. Even though I am not a big fan of seafood, I easily finish the fish dishes at this restaurant. The ability to enjoy the seasonal flavors is also a charming aspect. For those who are particular about food, this is a place where you can enjoy a satisfying meal. The prices may be a bit high for my age group, but considering the taste and atmosphere, it's worth it. The staff are friendly and easygoing, making it easy to feel at home quickly. This is a favorite restaurant that I like to visit for a treat or on important occasions.

I entered the restaurant just after it opened on a regular day and there were 7 customers already seated. The restaurant had 2 table seats (4 people) and an L-shaped counter with 8 seats on the basement floor. At the entrance, there was a manual hand sanitizer and an automatic face temperature check which said "normal". I was directed to sit at the corner of the L-shaped counter near the entrance, as it was crowded. I ordered the Special Deluxe Seafood Bowl (¥2200) which the owner recommended, as it was a popular choice among customers. Shortly after, the Special Deluxe Seafood Bowl was served. It appeared slightly smaller than the photo but came with various side dishes such as soy sauce, miso soup with a hint of seaweed, pickled radish, dried radish, and tea. The bowl was overflowing with a variety of seafood, making it difficult to reach the rice. Finally, when I reached the rice, it was warm and plentiful, while the seafood disappeared quickly. I thoroughly enjoyed the seafood. I paid afterwards using a premium coupon (25% off), so I only paid ¥1650 for the meal. It was a great choice to dine here. Thank you for the meal.

Akihabara Delicious Fish and Shochu/Sake Tasting TETSU Grilled Mackerel and Green Onion Tataki Bowl for 900 yen. The bowl is topped with green onions and grilled mackerel overflowing from the bowl. It's a reasonably priced lunch option. I visited around 12:30 on a weekday. The restaurant has about 8 counter seats and a back tatami area. There were 3 people at the counter and 2 groups of 3-4 people in the back. I ordered the seafood bowl for 2,200 yen, but with a 25% discount from a Foodlog Premium coupon, it came to 1,650 yen. The bowl was topped with various seafood like sandfish, large shrimp, fatty tuna, seared bonito, sea bream, marinated mackerel, octopus, and fresh baby sardines. However, the large shrimp had heads on, which released some miso that affected the taste of other sashimi like bonito. The rice was hot and cooked well, but the seared surface of the tuna and other sashimi changed their color. If they don't want to alter the sashimi, I think a sashimi set meal would be better.

A friend is transferring, so we decided to have a good meal together. It was my first time here, and I like fish dishes. The sashimi and grilled fish (nodoguro) were both fresh and delicious. I usually drink highballs, but the sake here is great. The cozy atmosphere of the small restaurant is also nice. I will definitely come back again.

I had a seared mackerel rice bowl for lunch. The tender mackerel had a great flavor, and the lunch made with high-quality seafood is reasonably priced at this honest restaurant. They also offer a luxurious seafood bowl for over 2,000 yen during lunch, which seems like a bit of a splurge, but I'm sure it's worth it. I would love to try it someday.

I went to Akihabara to eat the best value seafood bowl with overflowing volume at Beauty Research TETSU. This popular restaurant has been in business for over 20 years!! They serve a special seafood bowl with a variety of seasonal fish recommended by the head chef that day, which is too delicious. The special seafood bowl with 15 types of fish costs ¥2200 including tax. Today's fish menu includes: Bluefin tuna, tuna belly, Bluefin tuna collar, natural fish (rockfish, black sea bream, grouper, red sea bream), North Sea octopus, homemade marinated mackerel, scallop, horse mackerel, salmon roe, red shrimp, snow crab, bonito, raw whitebait. It also comes with natural dashi miso soup made with Hokkaido kelp and bonito flakes, pickles, and tea. It's too cheap for all these items included. It seems crowded for lunch near Akihabara Station!! Since reservations are not accepted, it is recommended to go at a different time. Payment is cash only. Please stop by and check it out.

I visited this restaurant located a 2-minute walk from Akihabara Station, known for its popular weekday lunch limited seafood bowl. The special deluxe seafood bowl costs 2,200 yen and includes an amazing 15 varieties of seafood:
- Deluxe bluefin tuna toro
- Red shrimp
- First bonito
- Whitebait
- Fresh shirasu
- Icefish
- Firefly squid
- Simmered mackerel
- Scallop
- North Pacific octopus
- Greater amberjack
- Flounder
- Red snapper
- Sea bass
- Salmon roe
The contents of the seafood bowl change daily depending on the season, timing, and availability of ingredients. With a generous portion of rice and a satisfying volume, this lunch offers great value. It also comes with two side dishes and miso soup, making it a luxurious and affordable dining experience.
The lunchtime can get busy, but it is relatively smoother after 13:00. In the evening, reservations are required for course meals. This restaurant is a seafood lover's paradise.

Gorgeous seafood bowl with a generous amount of various seafood toppings and miso soup, making it a great deal. Highly recommended for those who want to try different types of seafood. The contents of the seafood bowl change daily depending on the season and availability. Some of the toppings include premium bluefin tuna, fatty tuna, red shrimp, sand lance, firefly squid, octopus, icefish, bonito, mackerel, saba sashimi, snow crab, and various white fish. For lunch, they only accept cash payments on weekdays and do not take reservations. For dinner, they offer reservation-only course meals with options like the chef's choice course, satisfaction course, and luxurious course. Key points include its proximity to the station, variety of seafood options, eligibility for premium coupons on Tabelog, and the restaurant's high rating. The restaurant is close to reaching a 3.5 rating on Tabelog, so it's recommended to visit before it does. The atmosphere is cozy with counter and tatami seating, and it's popular among men and office workers (but also welcoming for solo female diners).

1. Seafood bowl using fresh fish of the day
2. Seafood bowl with photos
3. Seafood bowl with origin information
There are various types of seafood bowls, but the most enjoyable one is the seafood bowl eaten at local markets. It allows you to eat locally sourced fresh ingredients in their best condition, with the element of surprise adding to the experience. A seafood bowl with photos (2) doesn't leave much room for deception, as the quality is expected to match the sample shown. Confidence from the restaurant is crucial in meeting expectations. A seafood bowl with origin information (3) requires some knowledge and experience from the consumer, but disappointments are rare. When the location "Tokyo" is added to the mix, the challenges of sourcing affordable and fresh seafood in Tokyo become apparent. Tuna, being a staple in Japanese cuisine, is often a must-have in seafood bowls, but it is also expensive. This particular seafood bowl seems to reflect the struggles of the restaurant, offering a decent and affordable option with whole raw shrimp included. However, it lacks a distinct feature that sets it apart from others. As a seafood bowl of type 1, it should be sufficient. Don't expect too much in terms of flavor from a type 1 seafood bowl.

Arrived at 12:50, just after lunchtime. No guests. Ordered the premium seafood bowl special for 2200 yen, which is the top recommendation on the menu. With a Foodlog premium coupon, it came to 1650 yen. The bowl is on the smaller side but packed with rice. There are 14 types of toppings, including crab, prawn, sea urchin, salmon roe, octopus, and more. Comes with two side dishes and pickles. It's definitely special to be able to try so many different types of seafood. The atmosphere suggests that the dinner menu might also be worth trying, with a selection of famous shochu available.

This is my second post. Just like last time, I had the "Special Deluxe Seafood Bowl" with premium ingredients such as fatty tuna, brain (I think), fresh sardines, button shrimp, swordfish, octopus, sea urchin, salmon roe, mackerel, sea bream, scallops, and more. It was incredibly fresh and delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I checked online for information about this restaurant before going. Even though it was expected to be very crowded, I was able to be the first in line at 12:07. At that point, my senses were tingling. As I looked at the menu on the blackboard, the chef recommended the seafood bowl, which was the most popular item, but since no one else around me was ordering it, I decided to go for the seafood bowl special at 2,200 yen, even though it was a bit pricey. The bowl arrived soon after. When I saw the presentation, my senses tingled again. I lifted the first piece of octopus on the edge of the bowl, only to find that the rice underneath was barely there. On top of the rice were thinly sliced sashimi arranged like flower petals. The balance was off, and overall it wasn't tasty. The seafood wasn't great either. Lesson learned - don't always believe the hype. I won't be coming back. Trust in yourself. Oh, by 12:30, about half of the seats were occupied. That's it.

I was a little curious about a restaurant in Akihabara! I went there for lunch and tried the seafood bowl. The recommended dishes were the seafood bowl and the Hokkaido bowl, so this time I went for the seafood bowl. It was a generous seafood bowl with plenty of toppings! It had a decent amount of food, and I was satisfied with the portion. I don't think it had vinegar rice, but that's okay because sometimes vinegar rice can be disappointing. The variety of toppings kept it interesting, and I finished it all without getting bored. Personally, I was intrigued by the bluefin tuna toro.

The restaurant has a cozy, hidden feel with a calm atmosphere. There are counter seats and a few tatami rooms. The seafood bowl has a wide variety of fresh and delicious toppings! They purchase fresh fish at the market every morning, so you can really feel their dedication. The presentation is also very beautiful, almost too beautiful to eat!

Do not trust the words of the restaurant owner written in the commitment on the Eat Log website. The "Premium Seafood Bowl Special" for 2,000 yen is not worth it. It seems like the fish used in the bowl have been oxidizing and giving off a bad smell, indicating that they have been sitting out for a while. The sashimi served seems to be leftovers from the previous day, with the same cut marks visible. Even the shrimp has a bad smell, with the head-on shrimp being slightly better. If you're looking for freshness, it's better to go to a sushi restaurant for a seafood bowl at the same price. The restaurant may be popular on Instagram and TikTok, but they need to focus on the taste to sustain their popularity.

This is a restaurant located in Akihabara Station, specializing in fish dishes. During lunchtime, I noticed the word "curry" on the outdoor sign and decided to go in. Going down the stairs to the basement floor, the counter was full. There was seating in the back room, which had some availability, and it seems quite popular. The seafood bowl is a popular choice, with good reviews on social media. Because of this, there were not only salarymen but also young women as customers. There is only one curry menu item: the Tuna Curry Soboro Don. It seems to be made with minced tuna mixed with curry on top of rice, almost like a tuna dry curry bowl. The spiciness is mild, allowing the flavor of the tuna to come through. Priced at 800 yen for a set meal, it's quite a good deal. I've tried various curries in various places, but this type of curry was a first for me. There are still many unknown curries out there in the world.

I visited for lunch on a regular day. I arrived in front of the restaurant around 11:25, and the owner was putting up the sign and getting ready to open 30 minutes before. I was urged to enter and took a seat at the counter at the back of the entrance. I ordered the specialty deluxe seafood bowl with extra rice (free). Shortly after, 4-5 groups entered one after another. Soon, the seafood bowl arrived, overflowing with fresh ingredients. Everything looked incredibly fresh. The lunch was a bit pricey at 2000 yen, but after tasting it, I was satisfied. I heard that the ingredients vary depending on the day's purchase, so I will visit again. I was told that the owner manages the restaurant alone during lunchtime. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The review is about the lunch at a seafood izakaya called TETSU in Akihabara. The reviewer mentions that even though the seafood bowl was said to be delicious, it is not something an average person can afford at 2000 to 3000 yen for lunch. They found the grilled mackerel and yellowtail to be delicious and reasonably priced at 950 yen.

A very luxurious seafood bowl in Akihabara✨ They source their ingredients daily from the market, so the toppings vary depending on the day. This time, it included bluefin tuna toro, grilled bluefin tuna, Hokkaido striped shrimp, scallops, salmon roe, octopus, Aomori sea urchin, sand lance fish, homemade marinated mackerel, bonito, mackerel, sea bream, black sea bream, grunt fish, flatfish, Japanese anchovy, flounder, and snow crab. Each piece of fish was delicious and truly impressive✨ And all of this for only 2,000 yen is too cheap.

I stopped by Akihabara and had a seafood bowl. This time, I tried the popular lunch, the special deluxe seafood bowl for 2000 yen, which is a hit on Instagram and TikTok. Today's fish included bluefin tuna, fatty tuna, snow crab, Hokkaido sweet shrimp, sand lance, seared mackerel, Hokkaido octopus, scallop, salmon roe, wild yellowtail, hagfish, tilefish, red sea bream, greater amberjack, Suruga Bay whitebait, and Izu first bonito. Fresh sashimi is satisfying, high in protein, low in fat, and perfect for dieting. Seafood is so delicious that you won't get tired of eating it every day. With so many toppings, 2000 yen is a great deal. The hot rice underneath felt like eating a year's worth of fish from Ryugu Castle. It's close to Akihabara Station, making it a great recommendation for tourists and business travelers visiting Tokyo. Thank you for the delicious meal!
