特盛ヒロシ
This time, I visited a hamburger specialty shop that opened in July this year, using 100% domestic A5 and A4 rank beef. The location is a 3-minute walk from Meiji Jingu-mae Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line and Fukutoshin Line, and a 6-minute walk from Harajuku Station on the JR Yamanote Line. The opening hours are from 11:00 to 21:00, but they close when sold out. On weekends, they may close at 17:00. Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I visited alone on Saturday at 4:00 PM. The exterior has a slightly high-end feel. The logo of a tiger on the curtain means "Guardian of Meat." The restaurant was already full, and I was told to come back in 30 minutes. After a brief hesitation, I agreed to return in 30 minutes and purchased a meal ticket from the ticket machine. The most popular menu is the "Meat Forest Set" for 1,750 yen, which includes a demi-hamburger, a salt hamburger, and two servings of rice. Not knowing this, I bought the Hamburger Set for 1,650 yen, which includes a demi-hamburger, a salt hamburger, and two servings of rice. There are also other options like stew and a set of two salt hamburgers. I walked around Harajuku and arrived at the restaurant earlier than 30 minutes. There were seats available, and I entered the restaurant. There are only 8 seats at the counter. It is an open kitchen. I was seated in the middle. First, they served a consomme soup, which was delicious. Next, the salt hamburger was served on rice, which looked appetizing and was juicy. The taste was delicious, with the minced meat having a coarse texture and no binders, allowing the sweetness and umami of the meat to stand out. Then, a stew and sesame vinegar dish was served, and the stew was incredibly tasty. Finally, the demi-hamburger was served, which was delicious with an elegant demi-glace sauce. It tasted like stew and went well with rice. The hamburger also paired well with the demi-glace sauce, making the rice more appetizing. I ate it as a hamburger bowl. It was delicious. The rice was also high-quality from Koike Seimai-ten, a 5-star rice master, using a rice called "Sagabiyori." It was a great meal. As I left, I saw a sign saying they were sold out. I recommend visiting early. Next time, I would like to try the aged miso cheese hamburger if I have the chance.
