Popular solo dining spot in Kanda, "Kaiten Sushi Edokko." Part of the Kanda Edokko Sushi chain with 6 locations in Kanda. Conveniently located just a few seconds' walk from Kanda Station North Exit. The interior is not very spacious, and with the year-end rush, there was always a line waiting inside. Despite being a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, the sushi does not rotate; instead, you order using a touch panel. You pay based on the color of the plates. The "Tipsy Set (draft beer)" for 748 yen is popular, with options like shochu highball or lemon sour for 539 yen. Each drink comes with a daily assortment of three appetizers. On this day, the assortment included red snapper, sea bream, and yellowtail, all thickly sliced and fresh. Ordering a regular beer would cost 539 yen for one glass, so the set is a great deal for those who enjoy alcohol. The "Whole Live Abalone" for 880 yen is a highlight here, with a variety of fresh seafood options on the menu. The abalone is prepared after ordering and served whole, with a delightful chewy texture and a rich flavor. The boiled liver in ponzu sauce is also fresh and delicious. Pairing it with the "Ichinokura Junmai Super Dry" for 495 yen is a great choice. The "Live Surf Clam" for 495 yen is another must-try, served freshly shucked with two pieces on a sushi rice boat. This is my first time visiting this place. It's a conveyor belt sushi restaurant located on the first floor near Kanda Station. I thought it would have a more casual atmosphere, but when I went inside, I was surprised to find a bright and clean interior that almost felt like a clinic. The sushi is ordered through a monitor and delivered to your table on the conveyor belt. The Thank You set is only 390 yen and comes with a drink and a snack (such as sashimi and kamaboko). The half-priced red snapper was delicious, and I was amazed by the cost performance. Even after ordering about 7 plates and having around 7 drinks, the total bill was only 4000 yen per person. I was impressed by how affordable it was to enjoy sushi and drinks here. I will definitely come back with my colleagues. Thank you for the meal.

I wonder if Kanda Edokko Sushi is a new store? I was planning to go to the store with a counter in the back, but I decided to enter this one because the menu displayed outside looked nice and I don't drink alcohol. The side dishes and sushi menu were very extensive. The prices were reasonable too. I went after 8 pm, and most of the tempting side dishes were already sold out... I ordered the Omega-3 three-piece assortment, tofu salad, chawanmushi, medium fatty tuna, seared salmon, squid with salted lemon, white shrimp, and seaweed soup. The sushi, in particular, was very delicious for the price. I wish I could have eaten more if it wasn't nighttime! Next time, I want to come a bit earlier and enjoy more side dishes.

Visited around 2:30 pm on Sunday. There were 3 groups of 6 people ahead of us. We waited for about 20 minutes before being seated. Initially, we were shown to the counter, but a table opened up and we were moved there instead. While waiting, we ordered the abalone sashimi that was announced to have only two left. It was delicious, as were all the other dishes we ordered. The seafood dishes felt more like a seafood izakaya than a sushi restaurant. The red snapper soup that my companion ordered was exceptional. We finished with fatty tuna. The difference between a regular and strong highball is the amount of shochu, not the strength of the tea. We left feeling pleasantly buzzed and headed to Jingu Stadium. We will definitely visit again.

I went to Edokko again! I visited for lunch on Sunday. There was already a line before the store opened. I started with ordering some sake as usual, then I looked at the touch panel menu. Oh? Today they have fresh bluefin tuna head meat! It's a bit pricey, but I ordered it without hesitation. The straw-wrapped sushi looks good too. I ordered a few dishes little by little and enjoyed drinking slowly. After that, I ordered horse mackerel and amberjack. The total bill was about 2,300 yen. It was delicious, I will come again! (^_^)/

When I got off the train in Kanda to have lunch, it was pouring rain. I had planned to eat ramen, but due to the heavy rain, I decided to take shelter at a restaurant near the north exit. I ordered a beer and some sushi for lunch. I had anago, shrimp, tuna, sardine, horse mackerel, chu-toro, and a thin roll. Overall, the sushi was delicious for a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. The sardine sushi, in particular, was great with its fatty texture. I only took photos of the shrimp and anago. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.

Sunday afternoon drinking is the best. I started with a slightly tipsy set (draft beer) at Edokko Sushi. The appetizer was a plate of red snapper, yellowtail, and squid sashimi, two pieces each. I finished a whole beer just with this sashimi. Of course, I also had sushi. I had sardine, salmon roe, horse mackerel, scallion, and sea bream, among others. The quality is not like conveyor belt sushi. It's delicious. The price is reasonable too. I had three beers and the total bill was around 3500 yen. If you don't drink alcohol, it would probably be in the 2000 yen range.

I felt like eating sushi, so I walked from Nihonbashi to have some. I considered cost performance and chose a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. It was a typical conveyor belt sushi place, but they had a good variety of side dishes, making it a great option for drinking alone while enjoying sushi. The adjacent non-conveyor belt sushi restaurant was also popular.

They say curiosity killed the cat but I guess in my case it killed the... whale? I was super intrigued to know what the meat tasted like raw, I've only had whale jerky before. The texture is almost like a chu-toro and has some fattiness to it, yet at the end there was a metallic and bloody finish to this piece of sushi. Would I recommend it? Yes try it, but just 1 piece is enough for me. Kudos for Edo #Kanda giving us these fresh fresh oysters and abalones too for the night, this was a great feast of new tastes and textures! ❤️

I heard that there is a reasonably priced sushi restaurant near the station with good cost performance, so I decided to go. It was around 6:30 pm on a weekday, and there was a line. There were only two table seats, and they were constantly occupied by a group of salarymen, so I had to wait for a counter seat. A glass of alcohol and a three-piece sushi platter were quite reasonable! The fish was fresh, and the dishes were served quickly. We also ordered items like conger eel, monkfish liver, and sazae. In the end, the total bill for two people was around 5000 yen.

After enjoying a delicious Sumatra curry at the renowned restaurant "Kyoeido" in Jimbocho, I headed to Kanda Station after 9 pm. I tightened my wallet strings for the night, as the prices seemed to have gone up. I ordered shrimp (300 yen), sea squirt (300 yen), and red snapper (270 yen) using the touch panel, which was not very responsive. The prices for the dishes I wanted were all over 400 yen, so I tried to choose cheaper options. The shrimp had a good texture, the sea squirt had a tantalizing acidity, and the red snapper was thick and satisfying. However, the sushi I ordered took longer to arrive because a customer was engrossed in a conversation and neglected their order, causing some annoyance. But hey, maybe it worked out for me in the end by saving some money and getting full. Just leave me alone!

Get off at Kanda station and head straight. They call out to you for lunch as soon as you enter. There is a conveyor belt, but order the lunch sushi. It's less than 1000 yen and comes with a miso soup with seaweed. You could even go for five plates. The sushi pieces are quite big. Eat at the counter and enjoy your meal.

I had plans for a late dinner, so I decided to have a light lunch to avoid eating too much. I ended up choosing this place and ordered the "Today's Special Lunch" which came with 5 pieces of sushi - red snapper, cherry salmon, kohada, yellowtail, and sea bass, along with a miso soup with seaweed. It was a great deal for only 600 yen. The rice was a bit on the larger side, but the freshness and taste of the sushi were excellent. They have other set menu options like a 3-piece set which are also very affordable. This place is recommended for a casual drink while enjoying sushi. I couldn't drink this time, but I think it would be perfect to have a beer with some sushi next time. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy affordable sushi lunches.

Today I went to a popular sushi restaurant in Tokyo. As someone from Hokkaido who loves sushi, I consider this rotating sushi restaurant to be more casual than high-end, but still offering good value. Lately, there are also standing sushi bars, so I might try one next time. As for the taste, the tuna was okay, the kawahagi and hirame were good, the hotate was excellent, the hotaruika was great, the tekka maki was good, and the shrimp was excellent.

Kanda Station after 8 pm. Since I had lunch at the company cafeteria, I decided to treat myself to some sushi for dinner. I tried to order using the touch panel, but it was not very responsive. Finally, when it did respond, many items were sold out. I ended up ordering the following: shrimp (300 yen), sea squirt (300 yen), squid fin (220 yen), firefly squid (350 yen). Prices have gone up due to inflation, so most of the plates were over 400 yen each. I tried to choose more affordable options. The shrimp had a nice texture, the sea squirt had a tangy flavor that stimulated my appetite. Both the squid fin and firefly squid were fresh and delicious! And no, don't ask me about sea urchin, it was out of my budget!

This restaurant is originally a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, but due to the impact of the coronavirus, only condiments are rotating. I have visited this place many times, but this is my first time writing a review haha. There are counter seats and tables, and if it's crowded, there is a waiting area inside and outside the restaurant. I usually wait in the waiting area, but the rotation is good so I am quickly seated. As soon as I sat down, I ordered the "slightly tipsy set" using the touch panel. It's a great deal with 3 pieces of sashimi and alcohol ♡ I then looked at the appetizer page and ordered the salmon teriyaki and seaweed salad, which were the daily specials. The alcohol goes down smoothly haha. I felt like having sake with the teriyaki, but I resisted today...! This restaurant also has a wide variety of sake, which is nice ♡ But I resisted today haha. Finally, I had a mackerel sushi as the finale... Thank you for the meal.

I knew about the existence of the shop from Mairebi's review, but I had never been there before. I decided to go for a quick drink. The shop is located right off the north exit of Kanda Station, with a menu board outside labeled "Tipsy Set." Upon entering the shop, there were about three customers on the revolving sushi lane. A female staff member welcomed me with a casual "Feel free to sit anywhere!" I sat at the end of the lane and tried to find the Tipsy Set on the touch panel menu, but couldn't locate it. I asked the female staff for help and placed my order. A draft beer was brought to me first, and we toasted to a hard day's work. Shortly after, a sashimi platter was served, including yellowtail, black sea bream, and gilt-head bream. The slices seemed a bit long, and the sashimi was a bit dry (laughs). Since I had plans to drink more later, I decided to have a little something in my stomach. I added red sea bream and horse mackerel to the order. The red sea bream had a decent amount of fat compared to the previous sashimi. The horse mackerel was also a bit dry (laughs). Feeling like it might be an incomplete meal, I ordered a platter of three white fish. This time, the staff brought it directly to me instead of on the lane. While eating, more customers arrived, but contrary to my initial impression, the shop was not as crowded as I had expected. Maybe it was due to the influence of that video? The three types of white fish were black sea bream, red sea bream, and young yellowtail, and they all tasted good. I quickly finished my drink and left the shop, making it today's drink of choice.

I accidentally entered a different restaurant instead of the one I intended to go to, but the food was delicious. I enjoyed oysters, shirako, konoshiro, mantis shrimp, and kawahagi with liver. The only downside was that the seats were a bit cramped, and I ended up touching elbows with the large person sitting next to me. Thank you for the meal.

Kanda Station North Exit in front of the conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Around 8:30 pm, there were no waiting customers, and I was able to enter smoothly. The sake set had a good volume and quality of sashimi. You must order this. The nigiri sushi looks simple, with just rice and toppings, but the thickness and freshness of the toppings are excellent. There is a wide variety of toppings, making you want to order more and more. Drinks are also cheap, starting from 400 yen. A popular restaurant with both location in front of the station ticket gate and outstanding quality.

Kanda Station at 8:30 pm. The Chuo Line seems to be delayed. Tried to order using the touch panel, but many items were sold out, maybe because it's late at night. Ended up ordering the following: shrimp (280 yen) and crab meat (500 yen). Prices have gone up due to inflation, so if I added another dish, it would be over 1,000 yen... Had some tea and endured. Hopefully, my hunger will be satisfied soon... What, couldn't resist and bought a corn potage from a vending machine when I arrived at Tachikawa Station? Leave me alone~ (-_-メ)
