TACKNMON
Toei, a movie distribution company, announced on the 19th that they will be closing their directly operated theaters "Shibuya TOEI (1)・Shibuya TOEI (2)" in Shibuya, Tokyo on December 4th. This decision was made based on their management policy, marking the end of a 69-year history since opening as Toei's first directly operated theater. It's a bit sad, as it's the movie theater above Bic Camera, right? I've only been a few times, but it's still sad.
Today's review is for "Chugoku Meisai Ryuho Daikanyama Store." Located just a minute's walk from Daikanyama Station. It's kind of a semi-basement location. You can enjoy Beijing palace cuisine prepared by a chef who holds the highest qualification in Chinese cuisine, "Special Grade Chef." I visited for lunch on a weekday. I was browsing through Tabelog and noticed quite a few reviews of Chinese cuisine, so I was craving Chinese food. Oh, this has nothing to do with the incident at Sunshine 60's Chinese restaurant. I've been curious about this place for a while now. It's more of a proper Chinese restaurant than just Chinese food. As I descended the stairs, I was greeted by a slightly retro and open green corridor. Upon entering the restaurant, there was a customer waiting, but when I said I was alone, I was guided to the counter seats in the back. Hello. The restaurant is full at this time. It seems to be quite popular. The interior gives off a calm and retro impression. The counter seats have a glass window in front, allowing you to see the outside light. I took a deep breath. The warm tea in the pot on the table. Today, I will have the "B Specialty Dan Dan Noodles" for 1300 yen, which comes with 2 xiaolongbao and dessert. Everything on the menu looked delicious, but I decided on this. After ordering, I waited for the food to arrive, but it took quite a while. After more than 20 minutes, the food was finally brought to me. The dan dan noodles have a nice kick from the Sichuan pepper. The noodles are thin. I really wanted some white rice, but I'm on a diet. Also, the rice costs 250 yen, which is expensive. The xiaolongbao arrived late. The taste was not very hot, and the filling was minimal. The soup was a bit bland, but balanced out by the strong sauce. The dessert after the meal was almond tofu? Bavarois? The sauce was sweet and sour, and delicious. It was a smooth type. I finished it all in no time, as I ate quickly and worked up a good sweat. Thank you for the meal. That's all for today. Bye-bye!
