I was planning to have curry for my main meal, but then I saw options like Chicken Curry, Butter Chicken Curry, Thai Food like Khao Man Gai, and Gapao Rice. I decided to try the Gapao Rice as it seemed exciting and ordered it along with a highball. The Gapao Rice arrived with a hot egg soup on the side, which had coriander floating in it. The dish was served with yellow turmeric rice, a fried egg on top, minced pork, a little paprika, and basil. It had a strong salty flavor, and I enjoyed it with some curry vinegar provided on the counter. Overall, I was satisfied with the meal, and the restaurant had a nice multicultural atmosphere. I might try their all-you-can-eat lamb and duck shabu-shabu next time or go back for some curry.

I made a reservation for a table at a lamb and duck shabu-shabu all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink restaurant. The all-you-can-eat includes edamame, assorted vegetables, condiments (green onions, grated radish), and a platter of frozen sliced lamb and duck meat. There are four types of dipping sauces available for flavoring the meat. You can reorder individual meat items after the initial serving, which is a nice service. I particularly enjoyed ordering only duck meat as it was lighter compared to the rich lamb meat. The vegetables included cabbage, mizuna, onion, shimeji mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, and carrots, which were easy to eat when cooked in the hot pot. I kept refilling the condiments and trying different sauces, enhancing the overall dining experience. The frozen meat was enjoyable to eat throughout the meal. It was a satisfying experience to be able to eat plenty of nutritious lamb and duck meat without feeling guilty. The only downside was that the all-you-can-drink option did not include draft beer, only bottled beer. Ending the meal with hot coffee and vanilla ice cream was a comforting touch. Overall, I was happy to discover this restaurant and enjoyed the experience.

Recently, I've been in the mood for curry a lot, so I decided to have curry for lunch again on this day. I searched on Tabelog and found this restaurant in the Kanda Izumicho area. They serve Indian curry for lunch, so I headed there around 1:30 pm. The facade was black, and the entrance was wide, so I thought the inside would be spacious, but it was actually a bit small. I mentioned that I was dining alone and was seated at a table for two that was available. There was a tablet by the wall, so I assumed I had to place my order using that. I tapped on the screen to order, and I found a curry menu with a maximum chili mark. I spotted the Red Hot Chili Curry (780 yen) and decided to go for it. The name itself sounded spicy (^m^), so I thought, let's go with this one. I could choose the amount of rice, and I selected 300g for an additional 50 yen. I skipped the extra toppings and placed my order. Soon, a cabbage salad with carrot dressing was served. It was a simple salad, and although it was nice to have something included for the price, it felt a bit meager. I finished it quickly as it was a small portion. After a while, the Red Hot Chili Curry was served. It came with saffron rice, and there were chili peppers on top of the rice. When I tried the curry with the rice, it tasted more like "Indian-style curry." The curry roux was oily, and surprisingly, it lacked spiciness despite the maximum chili mark. The curry only had vegetables like bamboo shoots, and there was no meat. The saffron rice was soft and moist, almost too soft for curry rice. Despite ordering 300g, the portion did not seem like it. Overall, it was a disappointing "Indian-style curry." The chili peppers on the rice were just for decoration and not meant to be eaten, so I removed them (sorry). It was a disappointing curry lunch, especially considering that it is rare to go wrong with curry in Akihabara. The payment was accepted through PayPay. I left feeling unsatisfied. They offer a lamb shabu-shabu all-you-can-eat & soft drink all-you-can-drink course for ¥3000 (¥500 off with a Hot Pepper coupon). They start with edamame. The all-you-can-eat menu includes lamb, vegetables, turmeric rice, and condiments. The vegetables include cabbage, onions, carrots, tofu, and mushrooms. The cabbage, when cooked, was sweet and delicious! The thinly sliced lamb was light and I was able to eat a lot of it. There are 4 types of sauces: special sauce, spicy sauce, sesame sauce, and lemon sauce, all of which were appetizing and delicious. For the finale, you can add noodles, and I was very full by the end of the 2-hour course. However, we felt rushed to leave towards the end, and it was a bit disappointing.

I thought about spending time at a cafe until my appointment, but it was a holiday and most cafes were closed, and even if they were open, they were very crowded. So, I took a chance and went into a place that looked like a casual dining restaurant. But, surprise! What is this place! The atmosphere was like a trendy cafe or dining place, but the ordering was done through electronic pads at the tables. And the menu was so mysterious. All-you-can-eat lamb shabu-shabu curry cafe menu, I don't understand at all. I had an iced chai, which was sweet and delicious! I took a photo, added some humor by pouring water into it, just to capture the ambiance. Beside me, a couple was enjoying the all-you-can-eat lamb shabu-shabu. The curry seemed to be popular and very cheap! I'll come back next time to try the curry!

I had the spinach curry for 580 yen. I will definitely come back. You can enjoy authentic curry at a reasonable price here. The spinach flavor is decent, and it's really cheap. It's a great place for everyday dining. Next time, I might try the tomato curry for 500 yen. I wonder how it tastes. I'm starting to compare it to Matsuya. I haven't been to Matsuya recently. My Matsuya gauge is building up.

Butter chicken for 680 yen + hot spring egg for 120 yen with normal size rice of 230g. A trendy curry restaurant stands next to a popular standing soba shop, with an aura that hides it. Intrigued by the chicken curry for 480 yen, I decided to visit. Orders were placed using iPads hanging on each table. There were two staff members with a Nepalese or Bangladeshi vibe. The cafe-like setup emphasized the trendy atmosphere of the curry restaurant. However, it made it hard to imagine the shabu-shabu listed on the menu. I chose butter chicken, while my colleague opted for spinach. The 300g rice for my colleague came in a large bowl, and it seemed like the curry was also more generous. I was a bit envious of the additional 30 yen for the extra portion. The curry was delicious. As indicated by the chili mark on the menu, the butter chicken had no spiciness, just the richness of butter and chicken. The ratio of curry to rice was satisfying, with plenty of fried onions on the table to add. I tried sprinkling a tiny bit of hot spice on the last bite, and it became quite spicy. The bill was settled at the exit with the receipt. I've decided to try all the items on the menu.

They offer "authentic Indian-Nepalese curry in a familiar curry rice format." In the evenings, they have all-you-can-eat lamb and duck shabu-shabu. The interior has a counter with 5 seats, a 4-person table, 3 tables for 2, and a row of tables at the back. I visited around 7 pm on a weekday and there were no customers visible from the outside. The place is run by two men who seem to specialize in authentic dishes. I sat at the counter and could smell the aroma of lamb meat. It appeared that about 10 people in the back were enjoying the all-you-can-eat lamb. I ordered using a touch panel and got the Butter Chicken Curry set for 830 yen. The Butter Chicken Curry on its own is 630 yen and comes with a salad and a drink. The salad consisted of shredded cabbage with orange dressing. The Butter Chicken Curry was creamy and mild, made with over 20 different spices including cumin, chili, turmeric, coriander, cardamom, and cinnamon. They thicken it with onions instead of wheat, making it low in carbohydrates. The chicken was very tender. It paired well with the turmeric rice. On the table, there were hot spices, fried onions, and chili vinegar sauce which added a nice touch to the meal. I ended with a cup of coffee. The front area had a slightly trendy curry stand vibe.

I had the Chicken Curry for 480 yen. It's a curry and duck + lamb shabu-shabu restaurant next to Nifuyu, across from Showa Street. I came back because the lamb curry was delicious last time. Despite having few reviews, the authentic spicy curry for 480 yen is impressive. I also want to try the Tomato Curry for 500 yen and the Spinach Curry for 580 yen. There's a person having a solo hot pot, probably with duck, lamb, or both.

I used Go to Eat. I had all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu by myself. The meat options were lamb and duck, both thinly sliced so they melted quickly in the hot pot. The vegetables were plentiful, and since it was all-you-can-drink, I chose beer which made me feel full quickly. The duck didn't taste too much like duck, but the lamb was healthy and tasty. It's a counter-style restaurant, but the portions of hot pot and meat were too much for one person. When I ordered more meat, they added the same amount. I was very satisfied eating all of this by myself.

We used it for lunch on Saturday with 7 members of the company. First of all, the location is a bit hidden, like a hidden gem? It's located a little further back from Akihabara Station's Showa Exit. Just go out to the left and walk a little after crossing the pedestrian crossing on the right side of the noticeable ramen shop called "Gotts". Duck, lamb, and rice are all-you-can-eat, but I think this combination of all-you-can-eat is unique and good. There's almost no room for saying "I'd rather go to that shop instead." It comes out frozen solid, but it's thinly sliced and melts quickly in the pot, so it's not a concern. The tenderness and flavor of the meat are excellent! For some reason, there are many Genghis Khan restaurants in the Akihabara-Kanda area, so there are plenty of opportunities to eat lamb, but there aren't many places where you can eat duck shabu-shabu, so if you feel like eating duck, this is the place to go! Many people who like duck soup cup noodles also like duck shabu-shabu. And the duck and lamb broth and oil are amazing, so just drinking it without adding anything makes it taste like a high-quality authentic soup. It's delicious, and if everyone drinks it up, the moisture in the noodles for the finale will run out, so keep adding water and meat. The noodles for the finale are often served with a powdery, unappetizing curly noodle, but this shop serves them freshly boiled with steam rising, which was a bit impressive. With these noodles, the duck and lamb broth soup, and the duck as a substitute for char siu, you can create a little dish and enjoy the process. By the way, there are also 4 types of sauces (I think normal, spicy, sesame, lemon?) so you can enjoy changing the taste. You can mix normal and spicy sauces 1:1 for the meat, or add a little lemon to the soup, there are various ways to enjoy it. The vanilla dessert at the end also had some rare fine cookie-like topping, which was a bit elaborate. According to the staff, it's some kind of Nepalese dessert. I forgot the name haha. The attitude of not cutting corners even with the dessert is wonderful!! Everyone seemed to like it, so I think we'll use it again. The prices are reasonable, so I recommend it!

The menu includes cafe items, as well as curry and lamb shabu-shabu, it's quite random. I went there after 3 PM and ordered the Spinach Curry for 580 yen. The price varies depending on the amount of rice. There are many toppings available, seems more geared towards men. You order using a touchpad, so it's easy to end up adding more toppings. I couldn't resist adding cheese topping for 100 yen. The curry that came out wasn't very spicy. I added some spicy powder to make it more flavorful, but since it's a cafe curry, it's not very spicy, more on the salty side. I found the cheese topping tasty, but it was just regular melting cheese from the fridge so it didn't melt easily. It would be nice if they could heat it up a bit. Some improvements in that area would be appreciated. Overall, the taste is honestly like a one-coin cafe curry. It's good for a cheap lunch option. I'm not sure why this place has high ratings. Yesterday's lunch was at 'JAGUARBROWN' near Akihabara (photo 1). This place is a mysterious shop, it's hard to tell if it's a curry restaurant, a cafe, or a shabu-shabu place. The menu outside the shop (photos 2, 3) clearly shows that it's a cafe-style place with a focus on curry and coffee, but once you go inside, you'll find a shabu-shabu all-you-can-eat menu as well. I was there for the curry. I've passed by this shop many times before and always wanted to try their curry. I arrived a little after 2 PM. Later, I saw another menu board outside the shop that said "Until 2 PM, get a free salad with your curry," so I missed out on that. If I had gone before 2 PM, I could have had that. The ordering system was quite modern for a small shop, using a touch panel. I ordered the "Chicken and Chickpea Curry (¥580)." It was served in about 3 minutes (photo 4). The chicken was just a few small pieces, and the curry was thin. The curry itself was quite tasty, with spices, chickpeas, and vegetables to enjoy. Overall, I thought it was decent, considering the price. One thing to note is that they had pots of roasted onions and bottles of habanero sauce on the table. They also accepted electronic payments (iD).

Arrived at 11:45 am with 3 people, no other customers yet. Asked for a seat in the back rather than near the entrance, perfect social distancing here. Ordered using an iPad, which has been the same for the past year. Had chicken curry last year, this year tried the Butter Chicken Curry that caught my eye back then. Rice portion can be chosen from 230g to 450g, went with the basic 230g. Served quickly, in about 3 minutes. Can add HOT spices and fried onions as toppings, loaded up before even starting to eat. Took a bite of the curry sauce first, mild spiciness with plenty of butter. As I continued eating, the spices became more pronounced. Chicken was plentiful, providing a satisfying texture. The curry sauce was generous enough to soak the rice until the last bite, which was great. Paid with PayPay, got a 37 yen cashback. They also offer a great value and delicious all-you-can-eat duck and lamb shabu-shabu at night, so be sure to try it out. Had another delicious meal today~ Used for lunch on June 25, 2020. 3.42
