I visited a restaurant near Akasaka Station on a regular night. There was an elevator, but it was out of order, so I had to take the stairs to the second floor. I was seated at a table in the back left corner, but there were also sofa seats in the back right corner. The interior didn't look like a typical yakiniku restaurant; it had a somewhat stylish atmosphere. The restaurant was full and quite noisy, making it hard to hear. The service was good, with staff noticing when I raised my hand. I had pot-marinated Iberico pork, top kalbi, kalbi kalbi, sirloin steak, zabuton, harami, maruchotcho, green salad, roast beef, yukhoe, Korean seaweed salt potato, negi salt beef tongue, and a bite-sized black curry. The steak was particularly delicious, and the curry was also good. I ate and those who drank did so, and the bill was under 5,000 yen, so I think the cost performance was good. It would have been better if I had gone on a less crowded day, but that couldn't be helped. Thank you for the meal.

This is Akasaka, an area with major television stations in Japan. I was introduced to a restaurant that stands out in appearance, taste, and atmosphere. The brick and natural wood interior gives a quality and calming feel. The artwork scattered around the place shows a great sense of style. Seeing the wine bottles lit up in the cellar boosts motivation. We reserved a spacious private room for the day. This place is perfect for business dinners or parties, with a calm yet enjoyable atmosphere and great presentation.
Appetizer Platter:
- Chawanmushi, Namul, Kimchi
A fun platter to start discussions for the upcoming meal. Kimchi and Namul are great for a reset between bites of grilled meat.
Choregi Salad:
A crispy salad to enjoy before diving into the meat. The flavor of seaweed is great.
10 Types of Meat Platter:
- Thick-cut beef tongue with salt sauce
- Aged zabuton with black sauce
- Fillet angle with wasabi foam soy sauce
- Aged harami with black sauce
- Instant green onion salt tongue with salt sauce
- Barayama with red sauce
- Chuck flap with soy sauce sauce
- Beef liver with salt sauce
- Aged kalbi with black sauce
- Black beef sirloin with truffle aroma and egg yolk sauce
The meat dishes are arranged in a spiral on a decorative stand. The presentation is grand and beautiful, eliciting cheers when served. The manager explains each dish in an enjoyable and easy-to-understand manner. Starting from the top, each dish is delicious in its own way, with sauces that complement the flavors perfectly. The portion size is just right.
Komtang Soup:
A soup with a deep umami flavor that is excellent. It doesn't have any artificial taste and is simply delicious.
Shaved Ice:
- Black sugar and black syrup with kinako powder
The rich flavor of kinako powder and the strong sweetness of syrup make a perfect dessert after a satisfying grilled meat meal. It leaves a refreshing aftertaste. Reflecting on the delicious food and ambiance, I vow to revisit this place.

I had to find a new restaurant because the one I was aiming for was closed. I ended up choosing this place where three office ladies got off. Local workers always know good places to eat. The lunch menu only had sets for 1,000 yen and 1,500 yen, so I went for the 1,500 yen set without hesitation. The three plates of meat were served in a generous portion. You can also get free refills of rice, so I left feeling satisfied. It was a lunch where I ate too much. Thank you for the meal.

The name of the restaurant may give off a Japanese vibe, but it is actually a bar with a completely different atmosphere. There were also inbound customers, with many foreign guests visiting. The menu featured creatively prepared meats, along with a variety of condiments that complemented the flavors. It was a unique experience that you wouldn't find at a regular yakiniku restaurant.

The large portion yakiniku lunch for 1,500 yen includes various cuts of meat such as tongue, skirt, and belly totaling 250 grams, making it quite a substantial meal for lunch! While they also offer dinner service, the lunch option provides better value for money and higher satisfaction. I ended up not being able to work in the afternoon after this meal.

It was my first time at night. I booked the cheapest course. It was just the right amount for two girls. It started with appetizers, then various types of tongue and kalbi, but I thought it might not be enough. However, I was full after the shaved ice at the end. If you drink more than four drinks, all-you-can-drink is good for beverages.

I went to have my usual meat staircase! I was really disappointed to find out that the wine all-you-can-drink option, which I loved, was no longer available. The all-you-can-drink menu used to have a wide variety of options and was really cost-effective, but the selection has decreased now. Oh well... The meat and cold noodles were still delicious as always.

Used for dinner with company seniors. 7000 yen per person course. Taste: Excellent (the specialty "staircase platter" meat was all top-notch. Especially the black beef sirloin with egg yolk sauce + white rice ball dish was exquisite.) Atmosphere: Great (clean interior, slightly dim and calm atmosphere) Cost performance: Good

Yakiniku lunch for ¥1,000. I finally tried the yakiniku restaurant in front of Akasaka Station that I always passed by. It was delicious... or should I say, great value! The lunch set includes unlimited wakame soup and rice, salad, oolong tea, and 3 types of meat for ¥1,000 including tax. The meat tasted really good. Do you ever have the desire to eat yakiniku not just because you want to eat meat, but because you want to grill the meat yourself? This desire can be fulfilled at this price... The meat cooks quickly. The grill even has a side intake that sucks up the smoke. I went around 11:30 and it was not crowded, but more customers started coming in before 12. It's Akasaka after all. The restaurant is quite spacious and the meat cooks fast, so the turnover seems to be good. I debated getting the ¥1,500 extra-large yakiniku lunch, but I ended up getting the regular one and it was enough to fill me up. But next time, I will definitely go for the extra-large. I declare it as a must-eat even if I got the extra-large! I will definitely go back.

I visited for a Saturday afternoon drink. They offer a drink-all-you-can option for around ¥2,000, and lunch menu items range from ¥1,000 to ¥1,500. This time, I ordered the ¥1,500 menu item and a side of harami (skirt steak). The lunch menu offers good value, but if you go alone for lunch, it might be nice to have the drink-all-you-can option with harami and tongue. It's a good value for bringing younger guests. The interior is also female-friendly, with many women dining alone for lunch.

I had a yakiniku lunch and mini cold noodles. The interior of the restaurant was much cleaner and more spacious than I expected. All the meats were much tastier than they looked. The dipping sauces were also delicious and went well with the rice. The mini cold noodles had roast beef and crunchy ice, which was very tasty.

I made a reservation and visited on Saturday afternoon. Today I ordered my usual "extra-large grilled meat lunch set for 1,500 yen (230g of meat)". I had 3 extra servings of rice and 2 extra servings of seaweed soup, and also drank 3 beers. It was delicious as always!

I had a cold noodles lunch. It cost 1,000 yen including tax! The meat was delicious! Great cost performance! The set includes salad, 4 slices of meat, and soup, and you can also choose to have rice. It's been a long time since I had cold noodles, but it was delicious. It's a wine and yakiniku restaurant.

I went during lunchtime on a weekday. There were many office workers around, so it was quite crowded. I had to wait for about 10 minutes because there were three groups ahead of me. The 1000 yen lunch set allows you to try three different types of meat, which I think is a good deal. You can have unlimited rice and soup refills! In addition to water, you also get a free cup of oolong tea. The meat was tender and delicious. The salad had a nice dressing that coated every bite. I had to eat quickly because it was a weekday lunch, but I definitely want to go back again!

During work, I was drawn to a sign outside that said "Meat for lunch." I decided to come in and check it out. The second floor of the restaurant had a spacious and relaxing atmosphere. I ordered the "luxurious yakiniku lunch," which included beef tongue, harami, and other tasty cuts. The main dish was pork belly slices. I was skeptical about the pork belly at first, but it turned out to be incredibly delicious. Of course, the beef cuts like tongue and harami were also quite tasty, and the rice was very satisfying. The rice and soup were self-serve with free refills. For a full stomach, the yakiniku lunch at ¥1500 including tax was a hit in my opinion, especially considering the wide range of quality among yakiniku lunch options at different restaurants. The retro elevator display was also a nice touch in my personal preference.

I chose the cheapest course! The dishes kept coming one after another, so the course ended quickly. I ordered extra tongue, which was just enough to feel satisfied. The shaved ice that came at the end was very delicious, but I think it would have been better if they were served individually in smaller portions. The sauce for the meat was incredibly delicious!!!! The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant.

- Yakiniku Cold Noodle Lunch 1,000 - I've always wanted to go to Nikugen for their yakiniku lunch! The atmosphere is so luxurious, and I couldn't believe how cost-effective it was to enjoy yakiniku here. My Iwate roots were calling out to me, so I ended up ordering the cold noodle and yakiniku set. They even included rice, so it was quite a generous portion. The soup is self-service. The wakame soup was delicious! Be careful not to burn the meat while eating the cold noodles. Both the yakiniku and cold noodles were delicious. I love cold noodles in Morioka, but the cold noodles here had a good balance of meat and the crispy ice-like texture maintained the coldness. The prices go up a bit at night, but it's still a great value. I definitely want to visit again for a reward lunch or dinner!

The lunch was very good value! They serve lunch even on weekends and it's not too crowded, so it's great. They can accommodate large groups, so it's a good option for big parties. The staff are friendly and I would definitely like to go back.

I think this is a pretty good restaurant. It was my first time visiting, and I was impressed by how clean the place was and how fresh the ingredients were. The food was delicious, especially the course meals which were surprisingly good value! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back again!

I used to go there often, but this time I visited after about 7 months. I made a reservation for Sunday lunch. I ordered the "Large portion Yakiniku lunch set for 1,500 yen". The meat was 230g and you could have unlimited rice and wakame soup. It was a very good deal for lunch and I enjoyed it!

I wanted to eat both thick-cut beef tongue and cold noodles, so I desperately searched for them. Even though I couldn't find the cold noodles, the portion was quite generous! It also came with a salad, which was great. I had to resist the beef tongue, but it was much more delicious when well-cooked. Every other cut of meat was also delicious! Since it seems like they don't have a grill replacement system, if you want to save the beef tongue for last, it might be a good idea to reserve a specific area for it.

It's great that they offer lunch even on Saturdays in Akasaka. The price is reasonable at 1000 yen, and the quality of the meat is good considering the price. However, since the price is low, there are not many types of meat available, which is understandable. I wasn't very hungry this time, so the amount was just right, but I still prefer to have a hearty meal when it comes to yakiniku.
