This is a really cost-effective restaurant! The drinks were cheap and I had a lot of them! I was surprised that the appetizer was mapo tofu, which was deliciously spicy and I finished it in no time. The snacks came out quickly! The grilled xiaolongbao wasn't as hot as I expected, so I just took a bite. All the dishes were delicious! The restaurant allows smoking, so it might be tough for those who are sensitive to smoke. (I don't like smoke, but luckily there weren't any smokers nearby.) I went with a friend and the total bill was 7777 yen. Thank you for the meal! The waiter was handsome.

I visited the restaurant around noon in early July. The interior felt much more spacious than I had imagined from the outside. I ordered the Mapo Tofu set meal for ¥850. The lunch options were Mapo Tofu set meal, Oyster Sauce Chicken set meal, and Fried Chicken set meal, all for ¥500 for takeout bento. The food arrived in less than 5 minutes after ordering. As for the taste, the Mapo Tofu was not too spicy, and the rice went well with it. It had a good thickness to it, but it didn't quite blow me away (I prefer Mapo Tofu with a stronger miso flavor). I enjoyed the Xiao Long Bao with vinegar and soy sauce. The skin was chewy, and the filling was juicy and delicious! There were posters of the evening izakaya menu on the walls, so I thought it would be enjoyable to visit at night as well.

The drinks were cheap and almost made me flip over. The food menu is also affordable! I didn't know there were such cheap izakayas in Akihabara. It's smoking allowed, so it might not be suitable for those who dislike it, but the high ceiling and good ventilation made it not too bothersome even for non-smokers, unless someone smoked right next to you. The only downside is that there is only one toilet.

I went to Dorami Sakaba☆.。.:*・ Ordered: ▷▶︎▷◆Grilled Xiao Long Bao 3 pieces ¥450- ◆Assorted Deep-fried Skewers 6 pieces ¥500- ◆Potato Salad ¥490- ◆Appetizer: Mapo Tofu ¥300- Drinks: ▷▶︎▷◇Premium Malt's Draft Beer ¥290- ◇Highball ¥290- *With a reservation on Tabelog, you can enjoy a Jim Beam Highball for only ¥100 per person. Review: The handmade Grilled Xiao Long Bao had a crispy skin and was delicious. The Assorted Deep-fried Skewers were a great deal and the batter was crispy. The Mapo Tofu appetizer was worth it at ¥300. Overall, a great place for food and drinks. Business hours: Mon-Fri Lunch 11:00-14:00, Dinner 17:00-26:00 Sat-Sun 17:00-26:00. Smoking allowed. When I left the office in the mood for grilled fish, I found out that today was a day off. So, I decided to try a new place for lunch. The restaurant had a flashy exterior that I was getting tired of. The lunch menu offered three types of Chinese set meals with fried xiao long bao as a side. As I entered, a slim waitress led me to the counter. I sat down and quickly placed my order for the oil-splashed chicken set meal. The waitress, who seemed to be of Chinese descent, took my order to the kitchen using some symbols I had seen somewhere before. The food was served promptly. The waitress and the cook both seemed to be from the mainland. I noticed that the waitress had a tattoo on her finger. I have never had oil-splashed chicken at a proper Chinese restaurant before, so it was difficult to evaluate. The taste was average, and the batter was on the thicker side. I don't think I will visit again. Note: There was no salad, just a little bit of shredded cabbage on the side.

I visited the restaurant on the middle day of the three-day weekend. The number of customers was moderate. The staff members provided average service in broken Japanese. The "Macaroni Corned Beef" and "Potato Salad" were popular and sold out. The appetizer was "Mapo Tofu," which had a gentle taste at first but then a strong spicy flavor, which I personally liked. The "Grilled Xiao Long Bao" was delicious but biting into it was not allowed, as the meat juice would burst out. The "Thick Fried Tofu" received mixed reviews, with me liking it but my companion not enjoying it as much. I also tried "Skewered Lotus Root," which I liked. I forgot to take pictures, but we also ordered "Mackerel Can Salad," "Grilled Ramen," "Dashi Rolled Egg with Spicy Mayonnaise," "Potato Cheese," and "Cheese Baked Meat and Potato Stew." The "Mackerel Can Salad" was delicious and could be a sandwich filling. The "Grilled Ramen" and "Potato Cheese" were also tasty. Unfortunately, the "Dashi Rolled Egg with Spicy Mayonnaise" was disappointing, as the egg was cold and the mayonnaise flavor was overpowering. When I asked for the "Cheese Baked Meat and Potato Stew" without cheese, they accommodated my request and served it with mayonnaise on top. It smelled like meat and potato stew, but the mayonnaise flavor was too strong, turning it into "Potato Mayo." It tasted good, but I was expecting more of the meat and potato stew flavor. Payment is cash only, so make sure to have cash on hand when visiting the restaurant!

I made a reservation for a year-end party and visited! The highball took a while to arrive, but we made a toast when the foam on the beer disappeared (*´︶`*)ノ. We had: ☆Grilled Xiao Long Bao - The skin wasn't hot, but be careful as the meat inside is very hot! ☆Hakata beef motsu simmered dish - A simplified version of motsu nabe, just right. ☆Chrysanthemum salad - This is delicious! ☆Bean sprout namul ☆Chicken harami teppanyaki - This is delicious! You can also eat the cabbage almost raw! ☆Fried potato cheese - I thought it was something else, but it was potato mochi. ☆Grilled ramen to finish - Delicious. The drink service became normal halfway through, and the rice was also delicious as usual! Thank you for the meal!

Visited the restaurant on Monday at 11:50 pm with 4 other customers. Grateful for a place that stays open late. I stopped by because I was craving xiaolongbao, but the ones served had burnt bottoms. I was hoping for a juicy experience, but the insides were dry as expected. Not sure if this is their specialty. I ended up leaving it uneaten. I'm sorry.

Menu eaten: DoraMi Teishoku (set meal) with all-you-can-eat mapo tofu and rice for free. Comes with grilled soup dumplings. Located a 2-minute walk from Akihabara Station. Ate lunch at this izakaya known for its soup dumplings and mapo tofu. The all-you-can-eat mapo tofu with a moderate spicy kick was free. Also came with two juicy grilled soup dumplings. Great value for money. It was very delicious (^.^) I would like to try the dinner menu as well, as it seems to be extensive. Will definitely go again.

The restaurant is a bit hidden so it might be hard to find. The name of the restaurant is not written in front (which might make you doubt if you're at the right place). Once you find it, you'll have a good experience. It was a bit crowded on Saturday, but the food was served at a normal speed. The complimentary dish was mapo tofu, served in one big plate for everyone, which was delicious. The specialty, the pan-fried soup dumplings, were good too. Overall, the food was decent and I felt comfortable dining there. Thank you for the meal.

Dorami is a restaurant located a 3-minute walk from Akihabara Station. This place is famous for its grilled xiaolongbao♪♪ The surface is crispy, but the skin is chewy, and it's cooked just right! The overflowing meat juice is amazing!! Super juicy♡ And the fragrant aroma further stimulates your appetite. The filling and soup mix together and are incredibly delicious♡ They also offer takeout, so if you're interested, be sure to check it out♡ In addition, the braised pork belly is also recommended. It's tender, juicy, and full of meat juice, so delicious♡

This day was after Golden Week. I went to Akihabara to get my sunglasses fixed at a shop, and decided to have lunch at this restaurant while I was there. When I entered at 13:30, the peak hours were over and there were only a few customers scattered around. I sat at an empty table, and the staff asked me, "Mapo tofu? Oily chicken?" The lunch options at this restaurant were either Mapo tofu set (650 yen) or Oily chicken set (650 yen). The Mapo tofu set came with unlimited Mapo tofu and rice, while the Oily chicken set had unlimited rice only. So, I naturally ordered the Mapo tofu set. It arrived promptly on a tray. The set included Xiao Long Bao, but they were still being prepared and would be served later. I tried the Mapo tofu, and it was very rich in flavor. There was no minced meat, just tofu in the Mapo tofu. It was so intense that I couldn't eat the Mapo tofu on its own and had to mix it with rice. I quickly finished the rice and Mapo tofu, so I went to the self-service corner for a refill. The richness of the flavor required eating it with rice to balance it out, so I predicted that I would be full after the refill. I got a small refill and returned to my seat. The set of Xiao Long Bao was served. I tried one, and it was piping hot. Be careful not to burn yourself. It had plenty of meat juice, but lacked juiciness. I ate it without adding black vinegar, and then finished the Mapo tofu. It was still too intense in flavor. I ate it with rice, but the flavor was so strong that I couldn't have multiple refills as planned. The Wakame soup was also on the rich side. Overall, it was a lunch with overly strong flavors. At 650 yen, it seemed cheap at first glance, but the value for money decreased after eating. It felt more like a cheap meal. But I did get full. Thank you for the meal.

Visited the restaurant with my colleagues. It is a Chinese-focused izakaya known for its delicious Suntory beer and highballs. We were surprised by the unique appetizer of mapo tofu. The signature xiaolongbao was piping hot and had a crispy bottom. We ordered a rare dish called meat and potato cheese as a snack with alcohol. The combination of cheese and potatoes was perfect for pairing with drinks!

Delicious. Draft beer is served for 100 yen. The grilled xiaolongbao is hot with a crispy outer layer and juicy meat filling. The appetizer is mapo tofu, which is spicy and rich in flavor.

I used it for lunch, and based on other reviews, it seemed like the only lunch option was the mapo tofu set, but apparently you can choose between oil-splashed chicken and mapo tofu, and it seems like mapo tofu is all-you-can-eat. In the end, I chose mapo tofu because that's what I was in the mood for, even though I should have gone with the oil-splashed chicken in hindsight. It arrived in about 3 minutes after ordering. I thought, "Wow, xiaolongbao in such a short time!" but when I tasted it, it was more like pan-fried dumplings. The spiciness of the mapo tofu was moderate, but it had a rich flavor and depth, not just spicy. It went really well with rice for lunch. The side xiaolongbao was more like pan-fried dumplings, with a pretty hot skin that required some force to bite through. So when you bite into it, the soup from the xiaolongbao splatters everywhere. The first one splattered on the table, and the second one splattered on my face. Because the skin was thick, I couldn't really taste the xiaolongbao-like flavor, but at 650 yen, it's quite reasonable. However, with only two options, I might get tired of it quickly. It's delicious and reasonable, but with only two choices, I rated it just slightly above 3.0 for revisit criteria, giving it a 3.1. Thank you for the meal.

Near the company lunch series 149. After returning from a business trip, I decided to have lunch at a restaurant near the company. The restaurant is located east of Akihabara Station, across Showa Street, a little off Akihabara Ekimae Street, with a black exterior wall displaying the menu, white lanterns hanging, and small dolls of the shop's mascot, Dorami-chan. Inside the restaurant, there are hand-written menus lined up on the walls, with simple tables and both table and counter seating available. I visited a little after 12 o'clock, and the restaurant was crowded with mostly male customers. There were one female staff member each in the hall and kitchen, and the service in the hall was quite good. I ordered the Dorami set meal of the day. The food arrived in about 3-4 minutes. There was only one lunch option, so no need to choose. The set meal included egg soup, mapo tofu, and grilled xiaolongbao. The egg soup was light in flavor, which balanced well with the other dishes. The grilled xiaolongbao was a first for me, with a firm skin and delicious meat juice inside. I enjoyed drizzling black vinegar on it after eating the meat juice. The mapo tofu had a strong flavor with just the right amount of spiciness, complementing the rice well. The self-service option for rice refills was great, and I think it would be irresistible for men. It's originally an izakaya, so it seems like a good place for drinks at night as well.

I visited a new izakaya located across from Showa Street in the Kanda Izumi-cho area at night. I tried their famous grilled soup dumplings and mapo tofu, both of which exceeded typical izakaya menu items in authenticity. The presence of black vinegar was a pleasant surprise, and I could imagine it pairing well with rice. Despite not having rice at night, they also offer items like kushikatsu and Hakata motsu stew. Interestingly, the grilled soup dumplings and mapo tofu are apparently available for lunch at 650 yen, which may lead to even higher praise during the day. Additionally, the waitstaff, particularly a waitress in a cool and lovely outfit, caught my eye. The sign on the wall next to the entrance to the restroom seemed familiar but I couldn't quite place it - perhaps I'll solve this mystery during my next lunch visit.

I forgot my bento box, so I decided to have lunch out for the first time in a while. I wandered around and ended up at Dorami Sakaba. There was a sign outside advertising the "Dorami Teishoku". I entered right at noon and was seated promptly. I ordered the "Dorami Teishoku" for 650 yen, which seemed to be the popular choice. The staff were very friendly and brought me water, mentioning that the pan-fried soup dumplings would take a little time. The meal arrived after 3 minutes, with a nice aroma of Sichuan pepper. The portion was generous, with plenty of mapo tofu and rice. The mapo tofu had a good balance of numbing and spicy flavors. The pan-fried soup dumplings were delicious, with a crispy bottom. The soup contained daikon, carrot, leek, and scrambled egg, and was tasty. You can get refills of mapo tofu and rice. The only downside was that it was a bit oily and salty. The lunch was quite popular and the restaurant was full. If you're concerned about the crowd, consider going at a different time. Overall, the atmosphere was nice, the food was delicious, the service was good, and it was affordable. It's rare to find a satisfying and tasty lunch for just 650 yen. Thank you for the meal.

I am currently hooked on the lunch set here, which includes mapo tofu and pan-fried soup dumplings. The mapo tofu has a subtle fragrance of Sichuan pepper, but the rich flavor of doubanjiang or something is irresistible. It may not be satisfying for those who like authentic Sichuan mapo tofu, but a colleague I ate with before said, "It's spicy!" However, I find it just the right amount of sweetness. The pan-fried soup dumplings with thick and chewy skin can be dangerous as the juicy filling might squirt out and cause burns if not careful. They taste great with black vinegar drizzled on top. You can have unlimited refills of rice and mapo tofu for only 600 yen. It's a great place for the common people. The restaurant, which opened in December last year, has a clean and great interior. Although it was too hot before, I didn't visit often, but it looks like I'll be a regular from now on. It was delicious - thank you for the meal!

Dorami 3.9. I used it for lunch. First visit. I think it's good. Lunch revolution! This is a challenger! Dorami set meal 600 yen (tax included) is the only lunch menu. Please see the photo. Mapo tofu and rice with free refills. The night menu comes with 2 pieces of hot and delicious grilled xiaolongbao for 330 yen. Is it really good for this price? As for the taste... I think it's delicious enough. The Chinese soup has a thick texture and finely chopped ingredients, making it delicious! Hmm... I think it's good to come here 2-3 times a month. I don't think I'll come at night, but I really recommend the lunch. 5.0 Heavenly. Happy. Surprising price. Hats off. 4.5 Pleasure. Very reasonable price. 4.0 Very comfortable. Reasonable price. 3.5 Comfortable. Fair price. 3.0 Honest shop. Fair price. 2.5 Average. 2.0 Slight improvement needed. 1.5 Improvement needed. 1.0 Won't go again. 0.5 Worst. Absolutely won't go.
