The maguro sushi (858 yen) was good, but the rest was disappointing. The dishes looked very different from the photos on the touchscreen. The price of Japanese sake has gone up. The draft beer is Ebisu, but it tastes like it hasn't been cleaned properly. It's not worth the price (748 yen for a medium-sized glass).

I went there for the first time and the sushi was delicious, one of the better ones in this type of sushi restaurant. However, the staff was disappointing. The service for seating and payment was slow and lacked energy. The sushi chef also seemed lost and didn't realize when the dishes were ready to be served. It's a shame, honestly.

Rating: The "Magurojin" in Fuchu was a place we used to frequent often. Unfortunately, they have now closed down their Fuchu branch due to renovations at the station. My wife really liked it. Compared to the Fuchu branch, it falls short. If the Akihabara branch is rated at "3.0", then the Fuchu branch would be a "4.2". Below are the areas where the Fuchu branch lost points in comparison: - The rice is too sweet - The freshness of the fish is lower (compared to the Fuchu branch!) - The fried octopus is "overly breaded" and lacks the flavor of octopus itself. In terms of the quality of the fish itself, it is indeed fresher compared to other conveyor belt sushi restaurants. However, once you have experienced the taste of the Fuchu branch, you can't help but wonder if they could aim higher, right? It is suitable for families with small children or casual company gatherings.

Today's lunch was here. The three kinds of lean tuna and fatty tuna sashimi were especially delicious. The three kinds of shellfish sashimi were also tasty, and I couldn't decide what to order next, so I went with a roll of pickled gourd. I love pickled gourd rolls. Since I was a child, I've always liked sets with pickled gourd rolls, inari sushi with pickled gourd, and pickled gourd rolls as a finale.

Yodobashi Akiba's revolving sushi restaurant is my go-to choice when I want to grab a meal at Yodobashi Akiba. It's usually crowded, especially during peak hours, but if you go on a weekday early evening, you can usually get a seat without much wait. The sushi is ordered through tablets, and I've found that as long as you follow the daily recommendations, you can't really go wrong. One dish that stood out to me was the limited "Seafood Chawanmushi" with uni, ikura, and crab on top of steamed egg custard - it was delicious. The prices are not cheap but not overly expensive either, usually around 5,000 yen per visit. Overall, I always enjoy dining here when I'm at Yodobashi Akiba.

First visit. A casual and affordable conveyor belt sushi restaurant where you can eat alone without any worries. I decided to have a solo lunch drink on a Sunday, so I just went in. You can order using a touch panel, so it was easy and relaxed without having to talk to the staff.

I often visit the Maguro Hitoyoshi Kichijoji and Fuchu locations. There is also a standing sushi bar in Asakusa. I felt like having tuna for lunch, so I went alone. Tuna three kinds assortment - lean, medium fatty, fatty. Hmm, delicious. The quality is high. Next is the white tuna three kinds assortment. Still, the tuna is more delicious (laughs).

I stopped by to kill time before my business trip. I checked the reviews on Tabelog and they were not bad. I sat at the counter seat and ordered using a tablet. The guy inside was making sushi while doing something else, it was funny. Anyway, it's like conveyor belt sushi quality. I just wanted to eat sushi no matter what. I didn't feel like walking, so I wanted to eat at Yodobashi Akiba. This place is suitable for people like that (but those who don't mind the price). The sushi itself is not particularly bad, but as you can see in the picture, it's just messy. It was a very disappointing meal. Thank you for the meal.

A revolving sushi restaurant in Akihabara. It's just a 1-minute walk from Akihabara Station, located on the 8th floor of Yodobashi Akiba. I later found out that it's not part of the same group as the standing sushi bar Magurobito in Okachimachi and Asakusa, but rather a different company. I went on a Sunday around 2 pm and had to wait for 2 groups ahead of me. I was able to get in after about 10 minutes. These days, there are a lot of annoying videos about revolving sushi restaurants, so maybe that's why there wasn't a single sushi going around on the conveyor belt. It felt a bit lonely without it, but in the end, I just ended up ordering using the touch panel as usual. I ordered various sushi items like the salmon roe gunkan, squid, tuna, red shrimp, shirako, scallop, live scallop, etc. It's a casual and affordable revolving sushi chain where you can eat decently, but it's not super cheap. Thanks for the meal!

For lunch, I decided to have a bit of sushi here. It was during the idle time, so the restaurant was quite empty and I was seated in a booth. Looking at the menu, I noticed that the prices were quite high. I ordered some typical items like shrimp and squid, but they seemed like pre-packaged products. Even the mackerel looked elaborate at first, but it turned out to be pre-packaged as well. I had high hopes for the Hokkaido surf clam, but it looked strange and reminded me of Canadian go duck. The restaurant is called "Picky Rotating Sushi," but it's unclear what they are particular about.

During my single days, I used to frequent the standing sushi bar "Magurojin" in Okachimachi, but lately it's always crowded and not suitable for families, so I occasionally visit a conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Akihabara. I was a bit concerned about hygiene and customer service based on Google reviews, but overall it was just average. They had shirako (milt) available at the end of December. It's nice to be able to enjoy things like oysters with shells. The cost performance is not great, but it's just right when you want to eat slightly delicious sushi.

I visited the sushi restaurant "Magurojin Yodobashi Akiba Store" on the 8th floor of Yodobashi Akiba, just after 11 am on a certain day in December 2022. The restaurant is located a 1-minute walk from Akihabara Station. The moderately spacious interior had about 30% of the seats occupied. I sat alone at the counter seat and used the touch panel in front of me to place my order. Although it operates like a conveyor belt sushi style, the counter seats have the staff serve the dishes directly. Here are the dishes I ordered:
- Small Skin (¥253): A finely crafted small skin sushi with a perfectly balanced vinegar seasoning, providing a delightful texture.
- Salmon Mayo (¥308): A well-sized salmon sushi with onions and mayonnaise garnished with chopped green onions, offering a fragrant and flavorful experience.
- Ara Soup (¥363): A white fish ara soup with a decent amount of fish meat to enjoy. The broth has a nice umami from miso with a pleasant sweetness and saltiness.
- Toro Taco Roll (¥363): A good combination of negitoro and pickled radish. The high quality of the tuna is evident in this Toro Taco roll, with a pleasant sweetness.
- Akami (¥308): As the restaurant's name suggests, Magurojin, the quality of the tuna is reliable. The lean tuna has no strong flavor, allowing you to savor the taste of the tuna meat.
- Salmon and Ikura Gunkan (¥363): Enjoy salmon and salmon roe in a gunkan style. The freshness and texture of the salmon roe, along with the crispy seaweed, create a delightful combination.
While the prices may seem relatively high for a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, "Magurojin" offers a good value considering the quality of the ingredients. It's a great place to enjoy various types of sushi, especially if you're a fan of tuna.

I ordered natto rolls but they didn't come out even after 30 minutes. I ordered again but still didn't receive them. It seems like they underestimated natto rolls. I don't know if someone forgot to make them or what the reason was. It's not good if you order something and it doesn't come out. If they were served, I would rate it 3 out of 5. It was decent, but nothing particularly special. It seems like they are short-staffed.

I visited around 3 pm on a weekday, so there were few customers, but it is expected to be full on holidays due to its location. As the name suggests, the restaurant seems to specialize in tuna, so I mainly ordered tuna dishes. The quality of the fish was, well... average. The prices were higher than those of cheap conveyor belt sushi, probably due to the location. The AKB battleship sushi had a good portion size and was delicious.

- Location: Located on the restaurant floor of Yodobashi Camera Akihabara store.
- Atmosphere: The atmosphere is similar to a typical conveyor belt sushi restaurant. The interior was somewhat dim.
- Menu: The menu had a standard lineup of sushi items.
- Taste: The sushi was not bad, but I was hoping for something a bit more delicious.
- Price: It cost 4,400 yen for 11 plates.
- Service: The service was average, neither good nor bad.
- Overall rating: While there were no major negatives, none of the elements stood out as particularly impressive, so I don't plan on returning.

On this day, I had a late lunch at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant in the restaurant district of Yodobashi AKIBA. Since it was a bit late, there was no one at the counter, but they still showed me to a table even though I was dining alone. I placed my order using a modern tablet, and when the plates arrived on the conveyor belt, I picked them up myself and pressed the "complete" button. This button press, which is already disappearing in many modern restaurants, felt nostalgic. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was a bit laid-back, typical of idol time (^_^;). The chef in the kitchen seemed busy chatting away. I haven't had many good experiences in this kind of timing in the past, but how was this one? I had a total of 7 plates of sushi, along with a miso soup, making it a total of 8 plates and 15 pieces for lunch. The sushi pieces were all quite large and fresher than expected. The seaweed on the gunkan sushi was crispy and delicious. Especially the "3-piece assortment of sea bream" had the perfect balance of searing and saltiness, it was really good. The bill came to 2024 yen. On the other side, near the Electric Town Exit, there are excellent quality sushi chains like "Sushiro" and "Hama Sushi" waiting, so in comparison, this place might seem a bit lacking. With the rising prices of fish, it may be a challenging time for the conveyor belt sushi industry.

Magurojin, a standing sushi restaurant in Ueno, was quite delicious so I chose to visit their location inside Akihabara Yodobashi. However, the sushi there was quite different, leading me to wonder if it was under different management. It had more of a typical conveyor belt sushi restaurant feel. The quality was neither bad nor exceptional, just average for a conveyor belt sushi place. The tuna was decent, but quite fatty, with the lean cuts being the best. The fried octopus was surprisingly delicious.

After finishing up the moving in the afternoon, we decided to have a late lunch at a revolving sushi restaurant called "Kodawari Kaitenzushi Magurobito Yodobashi Akiba Store" as we needed to buy some household appliances. The sushi was delicious with large pieces of fish, and we enjoyed our meal. After lunch, we split up with my partner going shopping at Tokyo Station and I searched for a place to have a drink around Shinbashi area, but many places were closed on Sundays or opened later in the evening. I ended up looking for a place near Kyoto Station instead.

I visited during lunchtime. It was my last day of traveling in the Kanto region, and I had decided on sushi for lunch. The restaurant area at Yodobashi Camera Akiba was bustling as usual. I had to wait for about 10 minutes as there were two groups ahead of me. I placed my order using a tablet. At first, the staff brought the dishes directly to our table, but suddenly there was a sound from the conveyor belt side, and my wife shouted, "Don't you have to take that?" so I hurried to grab it. It was wasabi... But the red light kept flashing. After a while, a staff member came over and pointed to the top, indicating that I should take it. I realized that it was a two-tier conveyor belt, and the sushi was on the top level! I couldn't see it, so I didn't notice! Throughout the meal, I kept wondering which direction the next dish would come from. The staff members who brought the dishes were all unfriendly. The sushi was delicious, but it felt like a waste. The limited edition AKB gunkan sushi with lots of negitoro felt like a good deal. The scallops were plump, but the sea urchin had a bit of a fishy smell and was not as good. The tuna was in a shape I had never seen before, which surprised me. It may be pointless to expect better service from unfriendly staff, but wouldn't it be better to explain how the dishes are served to customers at the beginning?

Today, on my day off, I visited a sushi restaurant on the 8th floor of Yodobashi Akiba while buying a birthday present for my grandson number 2. I was seated at a non-revolving counter and ordered three types of nigiri using the touch panel ordering system: "Special Tuna Nigiri for 748 yen + Today's White Fish Nigiri for 462 yen + Today's Shellfish Nigiri for 418 yen (all prices include tax)". The sushi pieces were generously sized and particularly delicious were the fatty and medium fatty tuna. Thank you for the meal. It was delicious.
