Visited the high-end all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant "Sushidokoro Kinno Dashi" in Akihabara on September 21, 2018 at 7:00 PM. Opted for the 2-hour 3980 yen all-you-can-eat option with free-flowing soft drinks. Started with a cold chawanmushi and some appetizers before diving into the all-you-can-eat sushi. Cheers with a soft drink and let the battle begin! Ordered 20 pieces of medium fatty tuna first! Got called out for not learning from a certain food reviewer on Instagram, but reassured myself that my companion, a big eater, will handle it. The medium fatty tuna looked more like lean tuna, but some pieces did taste like medium fatty tuna. The seared medium fatty tuna we ordered separately was definitely delicious. The sea urchin had a strong smell and was not impressive. The conger eel was fluffy and tasty. The sea urchin in the special hand roll (limited to one per person) was high-quality and lacked the strong smell. The quality of the sushi varied, with some hits and misses. The rice was small and not too firm, making it enjoyable. The service was good, especially the female staff member in charge who was efficient and impressive. Overall, it was a decent high-end all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant experience. Thank you for the meal!

All-you-can-eat sushi! This time we chose the most popular course for 4800 yen (tax included) with a one-drink limit. There were many varieties of sushi! They were small so I could easily eat many pieces. However, considering each piece is around 400 yen, it might be a bit expensive as the pieces are not that big! The medium fatty tuna was just okay... The sea urchin was delicious! There was no shrimp. It's good for those who like quantity over quality! Also, having a private room was nice. #KinnoDashi #KinnoDashiAkihabara #AllYouCanEatSushi #AkihabaraGourmet #AkihabaraLunch

After several years, I visited a restaurant that offers all-you-can-eat lunch from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm for 2,780 yen including tax. The time limit is 60 minutes with the last order 15 minutes before closing. I went to the 7th floor reception and was guided to a sunken kotatsu-style private room on the 6th floor. I noticed only one other group in the restaurant, and the ordering system was done through a tablet. The table only had soy sauce and toothpicks, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a variety of 10 soft drinks available for free refills. They were served in large glass mugs. Each order was limited to 15 pieces of sushi. The only item that was sold out was the Wagyu beef curry, but I was mainly there for the sushi, especially the fatty tuna (chutoro). The fatty tuna served at Yamakou's all-you-can-eat is always from Nagasaki, which is known for its high-quality farmed black tuna. Compared to Minami tuna, the fatty tuna here has a slightly milder flavor, but it is still a rare treat to have black tuna in an all-you-can-eat setting. I started with other types of sushi, such as octopus, delicate skin, and luxurious salmon roe, each with a quirky description. The size of the sushi has increased slightly compared to the past when it was smaller than 100 yen sushi. The rice vinegar used seemed to be red vinegar, but it was much lighter in color. The rice was not cold, which is a plus, but sometimes the fatty pieces can feel a bit slimy. The truffle chutoro aburi roll tasted like grilled tuna. The hand rolls still had a lot of rice, but the chutoro was satisfying with a good balance of fat and acidity. The sushi arrived promptly after ordering, usually within 5 minutes, which was appreciated. I seemed to be the only customer left in the restaurant at that time. The dessert was a seasonal yuzu sherbet, which was a nice touch. Overall, the experience was average, but if you can enjoy chutoro for around 35 yen per piece, it's not a bad deal.

The size of the sushi was not too big and easy to eat. It was my first visit and I thought the price was a bit higher and the variety was a bit limited, so I was unsure. However, the quality of the ingredients was higher than I expected, and I was very satisfied. They don't mention a one drink minimum, so be careful. It was delicious!

Weekday lunch (until 2:00 pm) costs 2,780 yen including tax. Ordering via a touch panel and paying at the table is convenient, but the quality of the food is lacking. The sushi rice and toppings were lukewarm, with the rice feeling dry like it had been left in the fridge for a day. It may be a case of "cheap price, poor quality". Conveyor belt sushi is definitely tastier. It might be suitable for children who are not very discerning with flavors. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant is somewhat mature, so it may not be a place for children. Overall, I probably won't go back. The items I received were as follows: [Nigiri Sushi] - Fatty tuna - Lean tuna - Squid - Shrimp - Red shrimp - Octopus - Salmon (with a fishy smell) - Mackerel (with a fishy smell) [Gunkan Sushi] - Negitoro (strangely white, with slightly dried out green onions) - Toro (maybe because it's fatty tuna?) - Seaweed [Specialty Dishes] - Sushi restaurant-style rolled omelette (sweet) - Crispy cucumber (first plate was tasty, but the second plate was overly salty and tasted like a damp cloth) [Domestic Vegetable Salad] - Caesar salad (strong mayonnaise flavor) [Deep-Fried Items] - Chicken Karaage with tartar sauce (too much mayonnaise) - Crab cream croquette (large, greasy, lacking crab flavor) [Main Dishes and Soup] - Sudachi grated udon (good noodle texture, but unappetizing broth, where's the sudachi?) - Sea bream rice bowl (strong fishy smell, couldn't eat it) - Seaweed soup (tastier than clam miso soup) [Service Dessert] - Black sesame pudding [Soft Drink] - Jasmine green tea

I went to an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant where the sushi was priced at 4800 yen, with an additional premium option for 1100 yen. I also ordered two glasses of sake (Akabu and Kamiki), a draft beer, and a Dewar's highball. The sushi had a ratio of 1:1.2 for fish to rice, which meant that the rice overpowered the taste of the fish, leading to a less satisfying experience. I wish the ratio was more like 1.2:1 so that I could enjoy the taste of the fish more. As a result, I ended up feeling full from the rice and didn't order as much sushi as I had hoped. Personally, I enjoyed the shrimp and sea urchin the most.

Visited a place in Akihabara where you can have all-you-can-eat sushi in a private room for lunch. Sushi and side dishes are all-you-can-eat, but there is a limit of one dessert per person. The ordering system is done through a touch panel, and the countdown is displayed until the end of the order, which can be nerve-wracking. I felt that the quality of the sushi was higher than that of major conveyor belt sushi chains.

I went to a lunch buffet with some expectations, but I was disappointed. The sushi rice was warm and the fish tasted a bit fishy. The fish itself was also quite soft. I tried to change my mindset and had some curry and ochazuke, but they were not delicious. The only thing I enjoyed was the dessert, the ice cream.

I went to a sushi buffet in a private room with a friend. The buffet included unlimited sushi, but drinks were not included and had to be ordered separately. Despite the time limit and the fact that we couldn't watch the chefs at work, we thought the private room and reasonable price were worth it. Personally, I was most excited about being able to eat unlimited tuna from Yamazuki, which won the tuna auction this year. The overall impression was that it was worth it if you don't expect high-end sushi at the buffet. The private room was nice, and there was also a variety of izakaya dishes available for the buffet. There wasn't much of a wait for food, which was a plus. The quality of the sushi was better than what you would find on a conveyor belt, but the fish slices were thin and there was too much rice. We ended up ordering a lot of sashimi from the menu and putting it on the divided rice to make it more enjoyable. It seemed like it might have been an off day or maybe they changed their concept to cater to foreigners or younger customers. Overall, the sushi experience, combined with the service, left something to be desired.

My younger brother wanted to go to an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant for his birthday, so we made a reservation and went as a family. The small-sized sushi pieces allowed us to eat a lot, and there was a variety of menu items to choose from, which was great. When I inquired about a birthday plate during the reservation, they actually prepared one for us, making it a very memorable birthday celebration. I was really happy with the service.

The room was nicely partitioned into private booths. The sushi was smaller than other conveyor belt sushi places, which surprised me at first, but since it was all-you-can-eat with a variety of options, the size was actually good. The sea urchin was delicious, not overly fishy. The grilled flounder fin was also tasty. The disappointing item was the minced tuna with green onions. It seemed like it came from a tube and I was done after just one piece. There are also non-sushi snacks available, which was nice for variety. The drinks from the all-you-can-drink option were safe to enjoy, not too weak or strong. I felt like there was less variety in sushi options than I expected. I don't think I need to come back to this all-you-can-eat sushi place again.

This all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink deal at this price is totally worth it. It's much better than weird conveyor belt sushi places. The sushi rice isn't too big. The shrimp tempura was too salty so I wouldn't recommend it. The sea bream tea-soaked rice and tuna tempura are also not recommended. I recommend the fried tuna, plum jelly, grilled eel, conger eel, salmon roe, and red shrimp.

I was expecting decent quality for the price of 6,050 yen for all-you-can-eat sushi and drinks, but the sushi was worse than the 100 yen sushi chain. The reception was on the 7th floor, but I was directed to the 6th floor by elevator. The sushi pieces were large and the rice portion was satisfying.

One good thing about this restaurant is that they offer all-you-can-eat options not only for sushi but also for izakaya menu items. You can enjoy a variety of dishes like french fries, fried chicken, octopus with wasabi, croquettes, udon, and more. Another good point is that they have private rooms where you can relax and conveniently order using a touch panel. However, the overall quality of the sushi is low and the izakaya menu is just average. It's great for groups who want to enjoy a variety of dishes together, but not ideal for those looking for delicious food to accompany a quiet drink with friends. The price is around 5000 yen, including the 4400 yen all-you-can-eat option and a mandatory drink order. For this price, there are better options available. While it may be a good choice for a relaxed sushi experience in Akihabara, I can't highly recommend this restaurant as the quality seems to have declined over the years.

I visited Sushidokoro Kin no Dashi for the first time. I reserved a private room so I could relax and enjoy my meal. The fact that they serve beer in a glass is a big plus for me. The creamy beer poured into the glass is smooth on the throat, and I love that I can savor its deliciousness until the last drop due to the size of the glass. The speedy service of bringing refills is also a nice touch. Being able to order through a tablet device is convenient as well. I tried some unique options like truffle and medium fatty tuna hand rolls with pickled tuna roe. The freshly squeezed crab miso battleship and unique sushi rice stood out. I enjoyed various sushi like medium fatty tuna, sea urchin, salmon roe, amberjack, red snapper, and more, along with side dishes. I always go for extra crab miso at any sushi restaurant because it's my favorite (laughs).

I used the Toyosu support price of 1980 yen all-you-can-eat course limited to weekdays. The cost performance is amazing just as I heard from my friend. You can add all-you-can-drink soft drinks for an additional 500 yen, but based on my past experience with all-you-can-eat, I declined as drinks don't go down well for me. There was no annoying restriction like being served a set course at the beginning and only being able to order right before the last order, and no delay in bringing the order after placing it, so it's really fair. It's touch panel style and they bring the food quickly. The variety of sushi itself is not that wide because it's very affordable, but there are also fried foods, curry, udon, and desserts which is amazing. Oh, everything is all-you-can-eat, but desserts are limited to one item! By the time you eat that much, your stomach will be bursting, so it's not a problem at all haha. Tuna is the most delicious, so I think it's the best deal to keep eating lean tuna and medium fatty tuna. Yellowtail was not that great... but I'm really satisfied! Thank you so much!

I went alone on Sunday! I made a reservation and visited the restaurant. It was nice to be able to use a private room due to the coronavirus situation. The exterior was stylish and very nice. The interior looked just as I had imagined. The staff were polite and efficient, which I appreciated. The sushi had small bite-sized portions of rice, which made it easy to eat. The rice, cooked properly with red vinegar, was also good. There were also various side dishes prepared, so I was fully satisfied. I would like to go again!

Akihabara Station Electric Town North Exit is a 2-minute walk away. There is a reception on the 7th floor of the building, and private rooms on the 6th floor. All the shops are private rooms. It has a cozy atmosphere like an izakaya, with soft background music playing in the distance. Orders are placed using a tablet, making it convenient. They offer a weekday lunch buffet (60 minutes) for 1980 yen. I had medium fatty tuna, yellowtail, amberjack, conger eel, tussock shell, surf clam, hand rolls, clam soup, Chorogi salad, lean tuna, medium fatty tuna, salmon belly, seasonal sherbet (yuzu). I visited with low expectations due to the incredibly cheap price for all-you-can-eat, but surprisingly, the food was delicious. I thought they operated on a one-drink minimum system, but it turns out it's not required. They don't serve any appetizers to fill you up unnecessarily. This is important. The sushi rice is also good. I enjoyed eating my favorite sushi to my heart's content. However, the service is a bit slow. Orders don't come out immediately after placing them. It seems like it's necessary to always order the maximum of 15 items. Still, 1980 yen is a steal. It's cheaper than eating the maximum at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. The quality is also better than conveyor belt sushi. The creative hand rolls were just okay, but overall, I was quite satisfied. Thank you for the meal!

Today, I went to a restaurant in Akihabara looking for a low-cost, high-value meal. The restaurant had private booths lined up, with a nice interior and many autographed photos of celebrities. The title was 4400 yen, but on this day, I opted for the premium course for an additional 1100 yen. In conclusion, the premium course was not necessary as the regular course was satisfying enough. They also offered a soft drink all-you-can-drink option for 500 yen. The alcohol course was also reasonably priced. Orders were placed using a tablet, and there was a 90-minute last order policy. It took some time for the orders to arrive after placing them, so it's better to order everything at once. The quality of the sushi was excellent. The abalone (which may have been part of the premium course) was large and firm, with a strong taste of the sea. The regular course included unlimited servings of medium fatty tuna. Memorable dishes included medium fatty tuna, red shrimp, squid fin, herring, ark shell, amberjack, squid, horse mackerel, salmon roe, and crab miso on oversized rice balls that were bigger than those at 100 yen conveyor belt sushi restaurants. The last photo shows a side view of the sushi. While it was understandable that the quality might not be as high due to the all-you-can-eat nature of the meal, it was still disappointing. Overall, I enjoyed eating to my heart's content and left satisfied. This is truly a low-cost, high-value option! Highly recommended!

It was nice to have a private room and all-you-can-eat option, so it was very relaxing. I decided to add the premium course to the 3300 yen all-you-can-eat option and enjoyed some delicious fatty tuna and large eel. It was so good! Ordering was done through a tablet and the food came out very quickly, which was great. It was also nice that we went later in the afternoon. It would have been better if there were some hot drinks available.

We visited a sushi buffet with two women. The price for women is 3000 yen for all-you-can-eat sushi (120 minutes, dessert limited to one per person). It was explained that it is more cost-effective to add the all-you-can-drink option if you plan to have more than two drinks. I chose cold green tea for 350 yen. With the sushi buffet, the total came to 3350 yen before tax, which was 3685 yen per person. The quality of the sushi toppings was satisfying, but the rice was disappointing. The staff were quick to respond when called, and the sushi was served promptly without much waiting time.
