On this day, they offered a tasting set of 3 beers for ¥1080. Each glass was around 120-130ml. I chose beers with a strong hop aroma, which is my preference. - LAGER from the earth, alc 4.5%: Among the three, this was my favorite with the strongest hop aroma. It was very fruity and easy to drink, allowing me to fully enjoy the deliciousness of craft beer. - WHITE ALE, alc 5.5%: This beer had a spicy punch with ingredients like coriander, orange peel, and nutmeg. It had more of a spice sensation rather than a hop aroma. - FRESH HOPS 2023, alc 4.5%: This beer also had a strong hop flavor. It was easy to drink and had a refreshing taste. Shinagawa Station's Ekiute is known for having limited dining options and small shops, so it's often crowded on weekends. However, this particular restaurant is located in the back of Ekiute's second floor, so it's usually not too busy during weekend lunchtime. The hamburgers here are made to order, so it takes about 15 minutes. They seem to have their own unique touch, but personally, I feel like the chopped pickles and mustard sauce overpower the taste of the meat. However, it's a good place to pass some time. Hamburger: 1,400 yen, Ginger Ale: 680 yen.

During a transfer at Shinagawa Station, I took a break. It was more than half full on a weekday at 5 pm. Maybe half were at the cafe and the other half were having beer. The tasting set costs 1,050 yen and you can probably choose three beers on tap. White Ale, Grapefruit, Japanese Pale Ale. They were all delicious, but because it was hot today, the grapefruit was the best. It's nice to be able to drink high-quality beer inside the ticket gate. I'd like to use it again.

I have some time until my next appointment on 8/25, so I decided to go for coffee after all. Since it's summer, I opted for iced coffee. They have self-service for straws and napkins (it's unclear whether you should reserve a seat first or pay before getting them). Putting your bag on the chair next to you seems to be the norm here. The iced coffee was satisfying even though there wasn't a special character on it. It's stylish to have the real local name engraved in Roman letters. It had a rich flavor, very good. I enjoyed my visit, thank you.

It's been a while since I visited a shop in Shinagawa! Recently, I've been going to Tokachi-no-san at Tokyo Station, but due to train schedules, I came here instead! I couldn't find any appetizers, probably because it was lunch time. I was thinking of having a mackerel sandwich, but I had just eaten onigiri, so I wasn't that hungry. I ended up ordering cake and beer. ---What I ordered--- - Amarillo Session Ale (Regular) - Chocolate Brownie - Weizen (Regular) The Amarillo Session Ale was as delicious as I remembered from the beer event. I knew I wouldn't stop at one glass, so I also ordered the Weizen. I'll definitely come back again.

At Ecute on the 2nd floor of Shinagawa Station, there is a shop towards the back of the miscellaneous goods store that is often less crowded than other shops. There are many seats, with counter seats facing the windows in the back, and mainly table seats. It is an official beer bar run by a sake brewery that produces Hitachino Nest Beer from Ibaraki, so they have a wide variety of beers. The mascot owl is cute, with owl designs on beer glasses and throughout the store. Hitachino Cider is a natural cider made from domestic apples that are fermented. The label describes it as "apple wine," categorizing it as wine rather than beer. The label also features the mascot owl. It has a refreshing taste with a lingering apple aroma, and is very refreshing when well chilled. It has an alcohol content of 6.5% but doesn't taste too strong. The fried potato is in shoestring form, with a simple salt flavor. It is freshly fried. It is good on its own, or with one of the three dip sauces provided (mayonnaise, chili tomato, mustard).

In July, after a long time, I revisited the brewery operated by Hitachino Brewing at Echika Shinagawa inside JR Shinagawa Station. It was a little past 11 am on a weekday when I arrived at the station and decided to have a light lunch at this restaurant. I was worried about securing a seat, so I first went inside to reserve a table before returning to the counter to place my order. I ordered the Mackerel Sandwich (880 yen) and a set beer (600 yen). During lunch hours, you can get a slightly discounted price on beer when you order a meal, which is a good deal. I chose a seasonal beer from the tap (I forgot the name). Hitachino Nest beers are delicious even when enjoyed from a can at home, but having it poured from the tap enhances the taste even more. After a short wait, the Mackerel Sandwich arrived. Unlike before, where the ingredients were sandwiched between buns and you had to cut it yourself, this time the sandwich was pre-cut in half. The buns were well-flavored, and the mackerel, along with sauerkraut, created a perfect balance of flavors and textures, resulting in a satisfying burger. I leisurely enjoyed my beer and finished my meal. Hitachino Brewing has a store in Mito, Ibaraki, and having a branch in the heart of the city with similar prices is convenient for those familiar with their products. Thank you for the meal.

When it comes to this restaurant, it is famous for its Hitachino Nest Ale featuring an owl character. However, this time I visited in search of the hard-to-find Hinomaru Whisky. It was a slightly late lunch time, and I managed to secure a seat at the counter in a 90% full restaurant. I ordered a ham sandwich and a highball with Hinomaru Whisky. The ham sandwich had a generous amount of mustard and ham, but the bread could have been better. Nevertheless, the quality was high. As for the highball I was looking for, it had a gentle taste without any distinctive features. Next time, I'll try it straight or on the rocks. This used to be a hidden gem in Shinagawa Station, but it has become a popular spot that is always crowded lately.

Is this a beer bar? It feels like an open cafe. You order at the counter and pay in advance. Then you pick up your drinks at the counter and go to your seat. It's better to reserve a seat in advance so you don't have to wander around with your beer. Today, they had 10 types of Nest Beer on tap. They offer two sizes, regular for 750 yen and large for 880 yen. I bought the following two: - White Ale, 750 yen, regular size - Daidai Ale, 750 yen, regular size Regular size is 300ml and large is 400ml. The large size is slightly cheaper. The menu includes brief descriptions of the flavors, which makes it easy to choose. Each beer has its own unique taste and they are all delicious. You can't try them all, so if you happen to find one that suits your taste, consider yourself lucky.

This is a convenient shop to use while waiting for the Shinkansen at Shinagawa Station. The entrance looks like a different shop, so it seems like a hidden gem. The seats are spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, there is no Wi-Fi, which is the only downside.

Located on the second floor of Ecute inside Shinagawa Station, this shop is tucked away in the back, so it was my first time visiting. You first secure a seat and then order at the counter. They offer Hitachino Nest Beer in regular and long sizes. I ordered the Pale Ale, which had a fragrant and refreshing taste. It's a great place to enjoy a quick and light meal.

Finally, my trip is coming to an end. On the last day of Golden Week, the Yamanote Line was surprisingly empty, and I was able to sit comfortably even with my big luggage. I had even considered alternative routes in case I couldn't get on, so it was a pleasant surprise. As a final stop on my trip, I visited Hitachino Brewing at the station building in Shinagawa Station. When I visited the main store, I was turned away, so here I ordered two sets of tasting flights with a total of six different beers. The snacks were sausages. The yuzu lager was particularly unique. I also tried the orange ale out of curiosity, and surprisingly, it seemed to go better with beer than the yuzu lager. The time waiting for the Shinkansen passed quickly. Now all that's left is to make sure I don't oversleep and get off at the station. This trip has been very satisfying once again.

I have used Shinagawa Ekimae Ecute a few times in the past to kill time, but this is my first time posting a review. I ordered the Hitachino Nest Brewing Sweet Stout for 750 yen. Since it was before a meal, I didn't order any snacks. There were many single seats, making it easy to use even for one person. The description of the beer is copied from the website: "A light-tasting sweet stout with a refreshing and light flavor made with plenty of roasted malt. It has a light taste with sweetness hidden in bitterness and a fragrant aroma." I stayed for about 30 minutes, enjoyed a craft beer quickly, and found it convenient.

Today, I stopped by here before catching the Shinkansen. I had some time to spare, so I decided to have a drink. It's a bit hard to find, but it's located on the 2nd floor of Ecute inside Shinagawa Station. Today's TAP had 10 options, and I chose the Lager Regular for 750 yen including tax. It's a classic lager with a crisp bitterness and a smooth, flavorful taste. The mouthfeel is different from the lagers of major beer companies. Ecute Shinagawa 2F means going to the 2nd floor after entering the Shinagawa station ticket gate. It's amazing that you can relax inside the station. I was surprised to see so many shops on the second floor. You might not need to search for a restaurant after work anymore. "Sitara Diner Ecute Shinagawa Store," "Cafe Classica," "Hitachino Brewing Shinagawa," "Nurukan Sato Gotenyama Saryo." I couldn't find "Nest Beer" when I searched, it was actually called "Hitachino Brewing." "Antenna America Shinagawa Store" is nearby, so if in doubt, craft beer in Shinagawa sounds great. I'm looking forward to going to the office twice a week now. There are 13 types of draft beer, so it seems like a place to enjoy beer. I secured a seat first and ordered at the counter. I was interested in the Wagyu burger for 1400 yen, so I ordered it. The fried potatoes are not included in the set, so 1400 yen is a bit pricey. Maybe they are very confident in their meat. It would be nice if you could order the potato fries separately for about +300 yen. I ordered the Nest Beer Pale Ale for 980 yen. They exchanged the keg halfway and brought it to my seat. The Pale Ale has a good aroma and a well-balanced taste, very delicious. It has a taste that anyone would like. I wanted another drink, but I resisted to increase the enjoyment of visiting here each time. The burger was tall and held in place with a skewer in the middle. It was a beautiful burger with a clean taste. The meat patty was high-quality without any sauce. There was mustard under the tomato, lettuce, and bun as an accent. I thought it was a Japanese-style burger. There are counter seats separated for individuals, so you won't have trouble finding a seat. It might be good for group use before getting on the train. I'm thinking of inviting my colleagues.

I visited for lunch before noon so it wasn't too crowded. I had the Hitachino wagyu burger. It had a refined flavor, not too heavy, delicious but slightly lacking as a burger. It might be just right with a beer.

After surgery, it's best to avoid alcohol for a while, so I took my mother out to enjoy some delicious beer before that. We went to a hidden shop at the back of a bookstore in the station. They had a row of Nest beers on tap. I went for a strong IPA with a great balance of sharpness and richness, and a wonderful hoppy aroma. It was fantastic! My mother, who loves a good drink, went for a standard Pale Ale. The octopus and vegetable marinade was a convenient snack that was pre-made and quickly served. It would have been even better with more octopus, but it was only around 450 yen, so I guess that's what you get. On the day she was discharged from the hospital, when my mom tried to order a beer at a soba noodle restaurant for lunch, I did everything in my power to stop her. Just between us (laughs).

Many people are likely to enjoy the convenience of being directly connected to Shinagawa Station, so it's a shame if you can't take good photos. The gin soda costs 880 yen, while the gin and tonic costs 980 yen. For those familiar with drinking gin, it may not have a strong taste and can be quite delicious. Personally, I prefer it to be a bit stronger. However, as the name suggests, the main focus should be on enjoying beer. Just like with beer tasting, most customers order beer.

Shinagawa Station "Hitachino Brewing Shinagawa Beer & Cafe". This time, I ordered a single item at the counter. What I ordered (☆ particularly liked menu): Blue Sky ¥680. Served in a pot. They gave me an hourglass and told me to press the pot when it completely ran out to drink it. It had a refreshing grapefruit flavor. It's like when people say about the aroma and taste of tea, it was really clear! Although the place is famous for its beer, the fact that even the tea was delicious was unexpected.

There is a quiet cafe tucked away inside Shinagawa Station. It has a decent amount of seating, offers coffee on the lighter side with a hint of acidity, and serves a good cafe au lait with the right balance of milk. Their cheesecake is rich and soft, with a nice touch of lemon on top. It's a calm oasis in the bustling station.
