Last time I went was last summer, sorry for not visiting for a while, but there was a live show in Shibuya so I stopped by on my way back. Location and Crowds: It's about a 15-minute walk from the area where the live house is located. The station is close, so it's convenient to catch a train soon after eating! I visited around 8 pm the night before a holiday, and there were already customers inside, with a line forming. The seating is limited, but since people don't stay for long, I only had to wait for about 10 minutes to get a table. Ordering System: This restaurant doesn't have a weight-based system, instead, the spring noodle soup comes with a fixed price for 3 toppings, and additional toppings, extra servings, spiciness levels, or flavor changes will increase the cost. I ordered 3 spiciness levels, 3 toppings, and extra noodles for just under 1000 yen. The toppings are displayed in a refrigerated case, so after sanitizing your hands and putting on plastic gloves, you can pick your toppings in a plastic bowl, take them to your table, and place your order with the staff. Items not in the case need to be ordered verbally, and any extra servings or flavor changes should be requested at this time. The restaurant is completely cashless, so be prepared to pay with a barcode or QR code, or have your credit card ready. Food and Taste: This time, I chose Chinese cabbage (with plenty of stems), fu-tama, and chicken thigh as toppings, with 3 levels of spiciness and extra noodles. Personally, I recommend choosing vegetables that retain their crunch even after being cooked, like Chinese cabbage, komatsuna, or bean sprouts, for added texture and satisfaction. Fu-tama absorbs the soup and becomes gooey, adding another enjoyable texture to the dish. The chicken thigh portion was quite large (larger than a bite-sized piece for a woman) and there were three pieces, providing a satisfying meal. The soup had the familiar low-fat, herbal taste, which I always enjoy. The spices are in powder form, so be careful not to choke when slurping the noodles like with ramen. Garlic, ginger, Sichuan pepper, and black vinegar are provided on the table for flavor customization, so you won't get tired of the taste. The spring noodles have a chewy texture that lasts until the end, without becoming mushy from absorbing too much soup. The extra noodles portion is quite generous, as the lady next to me combined it with a small rice portion. It's also nice to mix it into the soup for a porridge-like dish. Other Points: Over the past few years since I first started coming here, I've noticed an increase in middle-aged and older male customers. I see a few businessmen here and there. It's not easy to find a place where you can enjoy a delicious, satisfying meal without too many calories, so I highly recommend it for adults. There are many solo customers, both men and women, so if you're hesitant to dine out alone, I encourage you to give it a try. Unlike other restaurants where the price varies based on weight, here you can easily choose your toppings without worrying about the cost, making it more user-friendly. Whenever I'm in Shibuya, this remains my top choice for a return visit.
