It's delicious! Until now, I had only enjoyed the parent-child bowl for lunch, but I went to the restaurant with my colleague in the evening for chicken dishes. We ordered sweet and spicy chicken wings, grilled chicken breast, sukiyaki, tamagoyaki (with a choice of dad's flavor or mom's flavor, and we chose the sweet mom's flavor), chicken sashimi, and homemade ham. Everything was a hit. Especially the sweet and spicy chicken wings were so addictive that I ended up eating 24 pieces by myself, even though it's normally 8 pieces. The grilled chicken breast was served on a hot lava rock, and when dipped in rock salt, the richness and flavor of the chicken were truly revealed. The sukiyaki was also incredibly delicious, and we finished every last bit. The charm of Hashitaya is definitely in the evening! The cost performance is excellent at only 4300 yen per person. We may have had a bit too much to drink.

I visited this restaurant located about a 10-minute walk from Shibuya Station, facing a main street. It was around 12 pm on a weekday when I visited. The first floor was already full, so we were seated on the second floor, which was also almost full. It seems to be a very popular place, as more customers kept coming in even after we arrived. We ordered the restaurant's specialty lunch, the oyakodon, which cost around 1,300 yen and came with miso soup, pickles, and karaage. The food was served within about 5 minutes of ordering, so the service was relatively speedy. As for the taste, the oyakodon had a simple flavor that respected the ingredients. The chicken, dashi, and rice were all subtly seasoned, not too salty but not bland either, making it very easy to eat. The soft-cooked egg didn't overpower the other flavors, and the slightly firm rice paired well with it. Although the portion size was a bit small for the price, I think the popularity of this place comes from its simple and gentle flavors that are easy on the stomach.

It was very delicious. We were celebrating a friend's birthday, so we brought a cake and they kindly kept it for us. The egg yolk was bouncy and fresh. The hot pot was interesting with the soup coming out in a jelly-like form. I would love to go back again.

In Shibuya, an arasar woman was hesitant about where to go with her 4 male university friends for a drink after a long time. She wanted to avoid the lively, cheap bars in Center-gai, especially with the current situation of COVID-19 and being in her 30s. She decided to look for a quieter place, preferably in a business district where there are fewer people, making it easier to relax on a Saturday night. The first-floor counter seats were cramped, but the second-floor table seats had plenty of space between them, allowing them to enjoy a leisurely drink. The food was decently priced and tasted okay. They decided to skip the highly recommended hot pot dish since it was summer. The staff seemed inexperienced and couldn't recommend dishes confidently, which was a bit disappointing. Despite that, the group plans to return with a more laid-back group in the future. Overall, it was a good experience. PS. The parent and child bowl was delicious, but we forgot to take a photo! Apologies!

I have been to the Hashidaya restaurant in Nakameguro in the past, but this one in Shibuya is my first time. The chicken dishes and water stew here are delicious, surpassing even the authentic Hakata water stew. I was disappointed that they didn't have the chicken ikura (salmon roe marinated in kumquat soy sauce) that I was so impressed with at the Nakameguro location, but I enjoyed the other dishes. It made me want to go back to the Hashidaya in Nakameguro again. I had a delicious water stew. Thank you for the meal.

Located along Meiji Street, between Shibuya and Ebisu, "Hashitaya" is a famous restaurant known for its chicken hot pot. During lunchtime, they offer a limited 10 servings of the "Chicken Soba Set Meal (1,200 yen)." Other lunch options include Oyakodon, Miso Katsu Set Meal, Chicken Nanban Set Meal, and more, ranging from 1,200 yen to 1,300 yen. I decided to try the "Chicken Soba Set Meal" this time. The set included soba noodles in a basket, tempura, mixed rice, and dipping sauce. When it arrived, I was surprised as I had expected a more traditional chicken soba like at Koikoi-en. The tempura included chicken, leeks, burdock, eggplant, and more. The dipping sauce for the soba was rich with chicken broth and had pieces of chicken (liver, wingtips, etc.) in it, providing a satisfyingly hearty meal. I had anticipated a light lunch, but it turned out to be quite filling and flavorful. Overall, I was very satisfied with my lunch experience.

I visited around 12:30 on a weekday. The first floor was full so I was seated on the second floor. It was nice to be able to eat in a calm atmosphere. The miso katsu set meal for 1000 yen was delicious. If it were closer to my workplace, I would definitely visit again. Other menu items also looked tasty.

The menu had both tamagoyaki and oyakodon, which were very fresh and delicious. I thought the oyakodon was only available for lunch, but it was so beautiful and shiny. I want to go back and eat there again.

I visited Hashidaya for the first time! It's a yakitori restaurant in Shibuya with good reviews. It's a bit far from the station, but if you walk while enjoying the cherry blossoms on the roadside, you'll get there soon (lol).
- Appetizer
Grilled chicken thighs, thick tofu, chicken tenderloin with wasabi, gizzard, quail, tsukune (chicken meatballs), ginkgo nuts, liver, and eringi mushrooms. All of them were delicious and perfectly cooked.
- Torisashi
There are usually 3 types, but this time they only had 2. The surface is seared, so you can enjoy a combination of a crispy texture and a raw taste.
- Spring Vegetable Tempura
It's not on the menu, but the chef kindly made it for us! First bamboo shoot of the year♡
- Tamagoyaki (Mother's style)
I asked about the difference between my father's and mother's tamagoyaki. My father prefers dashi-based tamagoyaki, while my mother likes it sweeter. I chose my mother's style, and it was delicious♡
- Oyakodon
It's not on the menu, but I noticed other customers ordering it, so I asked about it. It's a secret menu item. If you want to try it, just quietly ask the staff. Everything was delicious. Thank you for the wonderful meal♡♡

The 6,000 yen course with all-you-can-drink option is reasonably priced. They only offer bottled beer, not draft beer. The sashimi was delicious! The hot pot was full of collagen and very bouncy. The soup was tasty. I was very full by the end of the meal!

I used this restaurant for a drinking party with friends on a Saturday night. They have both counter and table seats available. We opted for the all-you-can-drink option, and based on previous reviews, they seem to have some good quality drinks. The food was included in the 6000 yen per person course, and it was decently tasty. The restaurant is located on the opposite side of the busy Shibuya district, and even though it was a Saturday, it was quite empty. Overall, the taste was not bad at all.

I met up with friends in Tokyo and went to the main store of Hashidaya in Shibuya for chicken dishes! This restaurant offers Fukuoka specialties such as Mizutaki (chicken hot pot) and tebasaki (chicken wings), and I wanted to try the Mizutaki this time, so I ordered it. When I took a sip of the soup, I could smell the delicious aroma of the charcoal-grilled chicken, and enjoyed the light and flavorful soup. It also had vegetables and tsukune (chicken meatballs) in it, and when I added champon noodles at the end, I was very full!

The 5000 yen all-you-can-drink course was great, from the salad to the hot pot at the end! We were seated on the second floor, and although we started at 7 pm, by around 8 pm it got quite busy and the turnover for the all-you-can-drink took some time. It might be a good idea to speak up early!

I went to Hashitaya in Shibuya this time. The first floor has a counter and the second floor has table seats. There were a lot of young couples at first, but once we sat down, it didn't matter and the delicious food and calm atmosphere were great! The yakitori and other dishes were delicious, and although we didn't try it this time, the oyakodon seems to be very popular. I highly recommend it for couples or colleagues to go together.

This place is great! It's about a 10-minute walk from Shibuya Station. Reservations are required. There is a counter and seating on the second floor, and I like that you can see the kitchen. I highly recommend trying the assorted skewers. The hot pot also looked delicious. The clientele is diverse, so it seems suitable for any type of person or occasion. The head chef at the grill was attentive and it was a nice touch.

It seems like a popular restaurant that is difficult to make a reservation at. The food is good, but I don't understand why it's so hyped up. When I went with 4 people, the seating on the second floor was very cramped, and I kept bumping into the person next to me when wearing my coat. It was uncomfortable. I probably won't go back for a second time. Also, my friend said the chu-hai was weak and not tasty. The young female staff members were not very friendly and took a long time to take our orders. This also contributes to lowering the overall level of the restaurant.

I walked a little from Shibuya Station and found this hidden gem of a restaurant in the area. I was surprised to discover such a great place here. I ordered a course menu today and the chicken sashimi and thigh meat were delicious. I couldn't help but finish them quickly because they were so good - the meat was tender and juicy. The last dish was a hot pot with a very rich broth. The soup was so good that I ended up just drinking it by itself. Overall, the quality of the food was excellent. I regret not getting to try the yakitori and oyakodon because they were not included in the course menu. I should have added them a la carte.

I had a great time at a year-end party at this restaurant. We rented out the second floor for about 20 people. The space was a bit narrow, but we were able to enjoy various chicken dishes. However, the service was a bit slow, especially for drinks. The quality of the food was good, especially the chicken sashimi, chicken ajillo, and hot pot. With all-you-can-drink included, the price of 6,000 yen per person was reasonable in my opinion. It might have been because the year-end party was so much fun! ∑(゚Д゚)

During the day, Hashitaya serves Oyakodon, and at night, they offer Mizutaki. Located a 5-minute walk from Shibuya Station, it opened in 2004.

◆ Atmosphere & Service ◆
There are 2 floors with counter seats on the 1st floor. The service is very lively yet refreshing.

Overall, everything was well-prepared! In other words, it's a "well-prepared" kind of place.

At night, they serve chicken dishes, and during the day, their main focus is on oyakodon. I arrived at 11:50 and was able to get in easily, but after 12:00, there may be a line. The second floor has table seating and a nice atmosphere, with many female customers. I ordered the "Oyakodon for 1,000 yen including tax." The broth was rich and the egg was said to be a special egg from Iwai, Ibaraki, which I found to be of high quality. The chicken was average, but considering the price of 1,000 yen, I think the overall cost performance is quite good. It's a great option for a casual business lunch.
