Not too salty, but with a strong and spicy flavor. The taste isn't too heavy, making it easy to eat with rice. This is exactly what I love. The dumplings with a fragrant seasoning of star anise were delicious. Better than the ones in Kamata. The side dishes in the set meal were well-prepared, and the soup wasn't just a regular chicken broth, but a premium egg drop soup. There was a suspicion that there were lychees in the almond jelly dessert. The tea served was surprisingly tasty, with tea leaves settled at the bottom of the glass. They didn't charge for it. Truly the best one-paper lunch in Shinagawa. When you look closely, you can see that it offers great value for the price. In the Chinese-speaking restaurant, the service was rough but they never forgot to say thank you, which is the essence of Chinese service. It even felt nostalgic. I'd like to try the main shop in Shinbashi as well. The convenience was quite good. It was very crowded, so it's understandable, but the dumplings seemed to be made in large quantities and pre-cooked. They were a bit cold. Still delicious, but lacking the full flavor.

I had a job at the Shinagawa Front Building, so I decided to have lunch there. I went around 13:30 on a weekday, so I was able to get in without waiting in line. A person in casual clothes, who I couldn't tell if they were a staff member or not, led me to my table without saying "Welcome". The food was delicious and the portion was generous. The attitude of the staff was a bit off-putting.

After finishing work, I went to a restaurant in Ebina with the same name as the one in Shinbashi, which caught my interest. I originally wanted to try various types of dumplings, but it wasn't available during lunchtime. Also, the braised pork belly was sold out. However, when I ordered sweet and sour pork, it came with 2 dumplings. The cost performance was amazing for just 1000 yen! It came with plenty of vegetables, pickled vegetables, and tasty egg drop soup. I didn't need rice, but I'm sure the fried rice would have been delicious. The almond jelly dessert wasn't particularly impressive, but I appreciated the lychee that came with it. This place is a long-established restaurant in Shinbashi that has even been featured on TV. Next time, I want to try their delicious dumplings and xiaolongbao without any additives. The dumplings were delicious even without any sauce!

The other day, I used a restaurant in Shinbashi. Today, my wife and I will have dinner there. We ordered a assorted plate of grilled dumplings, boiled dumplings, etc., but honestly, the taste is just average. The attitude of the staff is a bit questionable. The Hoikoro had a strong spicy flavor that was addictive and tasty. The Char Siu and Egg Fried Rice was delicious! It was not too dry, had a good amount of oil, and was very tasty. You can pay with PayPay, and credit cards are accepted for purchases over 5000 yen, otherwise, cash is required. Thank you for the meal!

The lunch here has great value, speed, and taste. The dumpling skin is chewy and the side dishes are delicious. I wish I had found this place sooner. The gyoza set with 8 dumplings and a side soup costs ¥1000 including tax. I went on a Saturday afternoon so it wasn't crowded, but I'm sure there will be lines on weekdays. They even prepare tea in cups before customers arrive, so the service seems efficient. Looks like they have a good turnover rate.

The menu and atmosphere of this Chinese restaurant looked delicious, and although the table seats were almost full, I was able to find a seat at the counter. I ordered the recommended lunch special "Weekly Combo Set (1150 yen)", which consisted of "Ginger Pork" and "Mapo Tofu". The kitchen was right next to the counter, and I could feel the communication between the staff in Chinese. The sound of the wok was rhythmic, increasing my anticipation for the food. The luxurious plate arrived, with not only the main dishes but also "Gyoza", a salad-like dish, "Tsai", soup, and Lychee with almond jelly. Everything was enjoyable, especially the "Gyoza" which was recommended to be eaten as is, but I topped it with "Vinegar Pepper" and homemade "Garlic Soy Sauce" on the table, and it was very satisfying. The "Ginger Pork" had a simple composition of pork and onions with a Chinese taste, and the ginger fragrance made the rice go down smoothly. The "Mapo Tofu" was also delicious with a strong Sichuan pepper flavor. It was a very satisfying lunch. I have been to Shanghai and other parts of China a few times, and this restaurant felt like it could be in a building in Shanghai. I found out that they have restaurants in Tokyo, Yokohama, and other places as well. I would like to try dim sum or a la carte dishes at one of their restaurants at night next time.

Today I had work in Shinagawa! In the morning, I was traveling. I had some time before my afternoon work, so I decided to visit this place for the first time!! I arrived around 11:10 in the morning. There were a few groups of people inside. After looking through the menu, I ordered the recommended lunch set for 1150 yen, which included mapo tofu, black pepper beef stir-fry, dumplings, salad, pickled vegetables, dessert, soup, and rice. It was quite a good deal for lunch! After waiting for about 5 minutes, my order arrived. It was served on a big tray, and I was excited by the generous portion! The salad was not the usual raw vegetable salad, but boiled komatsuna, bean sprouts, carrots, etc. with a salty flavor. The black pepper beef stir-fry was delicious with well-marinated beef. The dumplings were so good! They had a spicy kick and were juicy! I wanted to have more!! And then, the main dish, the mapo tofu!... It was cold. No way! Shocking... The taste was good, but you know... By the time I finished eating and left the restaurant, there was a waiting line. I really wanted to have hot mapo tofu. Crying.

Be careful not to order too much as the portion size for each dish is large. The grilled chicken is recommended, with both bone-in and boneless pieces coated in a sauce with a kick of sansho pepper. It pairs well with sweet potato soda. Smoking is not allowed, but there is a smoking area in the Shinagawa Front Building nearby. The location is convenient as it is on the same floor.

Dumplings set of 8 pieces for 1000 yen. The dumplings are like xiaolongbao, filled with juicy meat. Be careful when eating as they are quite juicy. The dumplings are extremely delicious, but the portion size is a bit small. In addition to this set, you might want to order about half a serving of fried rice.

You can also eat game meat. It's crowded on Friday nights. They have tofu noodles and peanuts. They also have a good selection of drinks. It's within a 10-minute walk from Minatomirai Station. The restroom is outside the restaurant, but it's nearby and clean. They have a variety of xiaolongbao, and they are cute.

They went really well with lemon sour cocktails! The dumplings with wings had a chewy texture and were delicious. It was nice to have a quick bite and drink. We had already drunk quite a bit at the first place and everyone was pretty drunk, so we left after about an hour. I was surprised to see that all the restaurants in this building were crowded!

After a long time since the end of the pandemic, we had a drinking party. We enjoyed various dumplings and xiaolongbao with ingredients like chives, garlic, tomatoes, scallops, and cilantro. There were no dull moments. There were five of us, and we had a great time eating and drinking, spending around 21,000 yen with good cost performance.

I had the liver and leek set meal from the lunch menu. The liver was not fresh and had a strong smell, the oily and thick-skinned dumplings were chewy, and the pickled zasai was overly sweet and soggy. It was a very disappointing lunch with such unpleasant flavors.

I arrived for an early lunch around 11:45 and was able to enter without waiting. The Shinbashi main store is known for its gyoza. This time, I had the liver and leek set for 1,000 yen. The liver and leek dish had a light seasoning but was quite oily. The gyoza had a thick skin and a flavorful filling with a hint of spices, which I found very delicious. I visited a Chinese restaurant located in a complex building near Shinagawa Station, within walking distance from the Konan Exit. The main branch is in Shinbashi and it is quite popular. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and the menu was extensive with a variety of dishes. Surprisingly, the prices were reasonable. It was a good experience dining there with my companion. The area around Shinagawa has a futuristic vibe, almost like a secondary city center. I wonder what will happen to the mixed-use buildings in front of the rotary.

Lunch with my colleague. We were in the mood for Chinese food today, so we came here. We arrived around 11:40 AM and were seated immediately. I was torn between the weekly specials, but ended up ordering the mapo eggplant set (1,000 yen) with 5 extra dumplings (for an additional 100 yen). Just so you know, even if you don't add extra, the set comes with 2 dumplings. The food arrived within 1-2 minutes of ordering. It was so fast! Seriously, it might be faster than Yoshinoya or McDonald's. And it was consistently delicious. I usually don't order mapo eggplant, but today I did, and it was mostly eggplant. I would prefer more minced meat in it. But I finished it all and was satisfied.

There were actually quite a few other stores besides the Shinbashi main store. They were located in Yaesu, Shinagawa, and Yokohama. The menu is probably the same as the main store. There are many different types of ingredients for the gyoza, making it hard to choose. The gyoza already have a strong flavor, so they are good to eat as is, but you can also add vinegar and pepper to suit your taste. They also have a variety of other Chinese teppan dishes like shrimp mayo, spring rolls, and shumai, which were all delicious. It was interesting to see families living around Konan mixing with businessmen. Thank you for the meal today.

The mapo tofu was spicy and went well with the beer. The dumplings were even better than the main dish. They were big, juicy, and delicious. Just having these and the beer would be satisfying enough. The food tasted good, the atmosphere was average, but the service was not great. They didn't bring chopsticks, and there weren't any staff members nearby, but the good taste made up for it.
