In Ebisu, there is a well-known Korean restaurant that only those in the know are familiar with. I have visited once before, but I was craving for Takkalmar, so I decided to revisit. Just a 2-minute walk from Ebisu Station East Exit. Going down the spiral staircase to the basement, you will see a chic and stylish glass-walled interior. Due to the impact of the coronavirus, they are currently not open on weekends, but they operate with reduced staff on weekdays. They have arranged the seating to ensure enough distance between customers, so you can spread your arms wide without any worries. As the name "Mizushikima" means "kitchen", the tables are lined up around the kitchen. There are also semi-private rooms and terrace seats available. As you enter the restaurant, you will first notice a row of fruit-infused soju bottles, which are beautifully displayed. They also focus on serving drinks that are easy for women to enjoy. The course menu starts from 4,000 yen, but I ordered a la carte. First, a toast with a glass of champagne. Mizushikima Kimchi Assortment (990 yen) is a delight for those who enjoy a sweet and spicy flavor. It's a nice appetizer with 7 different types of kimchi that are popular among Japanese people. The garlic sprouts were delicious! Kujou Negi and Nira Chijimi (880 yen) is a must-try at Mizushikima. It's made with plenty of yamaimo, creating a chewy and fluffy texture. The staff will cut it into easy-to-eat sizes right in front of you. It's quite hot because it's cooked on an iron plate. The seafood chijimi also looked delicious, but if you like green onions and nira, be sure to try this one. It was deliciously fragrant and chewy. Yangnyeong Kejan (1,300 yen) is a dish with a sweet and spicy sauce that is addictive. The red sauce made with chili peppers, garlic, ginger, sugar, etc., is used to marinate snow crabs. The meat is succulent and delightful to eat. Finally, the Seoul Takkalmar, a simmered dish, is a must-try. It takes a little time to cook, so it's best to order it early. Mizushikima's specialty is "Bulgogi," made with high-quality Japanese beef and plenty of vegetables, but this time I wanted something refreshing, so I chose Takkalmar. It contains a whole chicken simmered in a special soup, rich in collagen. The rich soup is delicious with a perfect balance of flavors. The potatoes are flavorful and fluffy. The Toppogi is chewy and adds a nice touch. The simple Takkalmar, where you can feel the umami of the chicken, is perfect for beauty and health. The next morning, my skin was plump and firm. Although noodles and rice are also delicious for the finish, with just the two of us, we were quite full, so we ended our meal here. Despite the current situation, the staff were cheerful and provided excellent service, making the dining experience enjoyable. A modern Korean restaurant near the station, perfect for a girls' night out or a date. Thank you for the meal.

Tonight I was invited to drink and the location around Ebisu was decided, but the restaurant I wanted to go to kept getting rejected when I called them. So, we ended up deciding on "Mizusashi"! The Chamisul Fresh (2 servings) for ¥1,650 is a must-try. First of all, the 7 types of kimchi they serve as a starter are incredibly delicious. Just with that, you can keep drinking all night. Mizusashi is definitely the number one Korean restaurant in Ebisu. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is great, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious with good value for money. I highly recommend this place!

This is my second visit! I was delighted to find out that you can have unlimited refills on the first set of small dishes. This time, we shared the bibimbap and kimchi stew from the lunch menu and enjoyed them very much. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely and its location right in front of the station is very convenient, rain or shine. Highly recommend this place!

I made a reservation for a Korean restaurant for dinner today as part of my preparation for my upcoming trip to Korea! I was able to walk in without a reservation. It has been 3 years since my last visit, but the restaurant still has a stylish and nice atmosphere. The location near the station is also great! What I ate: - Appetizers: steamed tofu, edamame, and sweet potato. The appetizers were different from my last visit, which was a nice surprise. They had a gentle flavor and were delicious. - Raw beef tripe: I couldn't find the assorted hormone platter that I loved last time, so I ordered this instead. The pink-colored tripe was beautifully presented with a flower on top. The meat was tender and had a sweet taste. Highly recommended. - Seafood pancake: The pancake was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, like a fluffy down comforter. It was delicious as always, but be careful as it's quite filling. - Soy sauce marinated crab: I ordered this dish as my friend had never tried marinated crab before. The crab was small and a bit hard to eat, but the vegetables added a nice crunchy texture. It started off not too spicy, but it gradually got spicier. My friend handled the spiciness well, so I'd say it's moderately spicy. - Kimbap: We decided to order kimbap as we felt like having rice. We chose the regular kimbap, which was thick and large with perilla leaves, giving it an adult-like flavor. I was too full to finish it, so I asked if I could take the leftovers home. They kindly packed it for me in a to-go container and even provided a nice paper bag! Overall, the restaurant is conveniently located near the station, has a calm and stylish atmosphere, offers great service, delicious food, unique dishes, and reasonable prices (although the drinks are a bit expensive). Perfect for business meetings, dates, or girls' night out! The leftover kimbap was still delicious the next morning. With this, my Korean trip preparation is complete! I'll have to come back for a refresher.

First of all, you are captivated by the pleasant atmosphere inside the restaurant. The yukhoe is also incredibly delicious, and the bulgogi has plenty of vegetables but still fills you up. The chive pancake has a unique chewy texture that you won't find in other restaurants. It's cooked in a way that wraps the chives, and it's so delicious that you might get addicted to it.

I'm happy that they also have a lunch menu on weekends. It comes with several side dishes and you can have seconds. I can't eat a lot, but everything is delicious and makes a great accompaniment to rice. The lunch stew is not too spicy, with plenty of ingredients. It was so tasty that I want to try other lunches as well. A must-visit again.

I visited this restaurant for a colleague's farewell party. Despite being a weekday night, it was full, which was surprising. It seems to be a popular place. I came here for their famous Takkalmarri, but when I found out it was a whole bird per person, I thought it might be too much for two people, so I opted for the course menu instead. Every dish had a unique touch and was delicious, so I thought it would be great for a date as well. The Takkalmarri I had was indeed delicious, and the porridge at the end was exceptional. The restaurant is conveniently located near the station, so I would like to come back again.

This is a Korean restaurant in Ebisu. It is conveniently located near the west exit. The interior is stylish but relatively lively. I tried the Wagyu bulgogi course. Everything was delicious, but the chijimi was surprising with its appearance like a Japanese omelette. It was fluffy and a must-try if ordering a la carte next time. I think the course offers great value for the price.

I visited for lunch on Saturday around 11:30 and called ahead to reserve a table just in case. The restaurant gradually filled up and by noon it was almost full. The interior was beautiful, as expected in Ebisu, and the side dishes were delicious with unlimited refills. The Bibimbap and Jjigae were both excellent. I would love to go back again!

I made a reservation for the popular course with the signature dish of Bulgogi with my friends. The restaurant is located on the basement floor of a building just a 1-minute walk from Ebisu Station. You can see the stylish interior from outside through the glass door. We started with a seasonal Namul assortment, followed by Bossam Kimchi. The staff cut it into two pieces with scissors. Inside the Napa cabbage kimchi, there were chunks of tuna, shrimp, and more, which were already delicious on their own, but tasted even better with the sweet and savory sauce provided. Tteokbokki, Japchae, and the unique texture of the Chijimi followed. The main dish was the beef kalbi and vegetable Bulgogi. The staff cooked and served everything, providing it at just the right level of doneness. It lived up to its reputation as a specialty dish. We ended the meal with some grilled ramen and left feeling full and satisfied. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Located right by the east exit of Ebisu Station, this trendy Korean restaurant is situated in a rotary-like area. The interior features an open kitchen, giving off a vibe similar to a New York restaurant (in my personal opinion). This time, we ordered a la carte, including Takkalmar, seafood pancake, bossam kimchi, japchae, steamed pork with kimchi, and more. Takkalmar was a flavorful soup with a whole chicken cooked slowly. The broth was rich and delicious, and the udon served at the end paired well with it. The pancake had a nice crispy texture, and the bossam kimchi was interesting and tasty. Overall, the Korean cuisine here was of a high standard. I usually go to more casual eateries, so it's nice to visit this type of place occasionally. Next time, I think I'll try the bulgogi.

We didn't have any specific plans and decided to enjoy a spontaneous trip with my partner, getting off at a random station. We ended up in Ebisu around lunchtime. After walking around and checking out a few shops, we decided to visit Mizusarama based on reviews. Luckily, there was a table available and we were able to get in easily. The atmosphere inside was calm and cozy, despite being quite busy. We started off by ordering a cold beer to cool off from the heat outside. It was a refreshing moment. Today, we had: - Satsuma black pork Samgyupsal ¥2,000 - Today's Chige (Clam Sundubu Chige) ¥1,400 - Kirin Ichiban Shibori (Premium) ¥850 x 2 While waiting for our food, the staff brought a large basket-like container and told us it was all-you-can-eat appetizers, consisting of 7 different dishes. They were all delicious and paired well with the beer! The Samgyupsal was different from what we expected, but still tasty. The Chige was not too spicy and served piping hot, perfect for the hot day. I would love to visit again. I hear they have a branch in Marunouchi as well, so I'm looking forward to trying that one too.

I go for body maintenance in Ebisu. On a particularly hot day, on my way back, I happened to come across a Korean restaurant. I decided to drop by. I was seated at a table after mentioning that I was dining alone. The atmosphere didn't feel very Korean, but it was calming. The lunch menu mostly ranged around 1400 yen, so I chose the Bibimbap and Sundubu set for 1700 yen. I was pleased with the appetizers served in a basket. The Sundubu was boiling and looked delicious. However, the taste was a bit salty and lacked depth. The Bibimbap was just average. The side dishes were also average, nothing really stood out. Overall, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't particularly delicious either. The atmosphere was nice and the cost performance was good, so I might consider revisiting if I feel like it.

It's been a while since I had Korean food. I usually choose Bulgogi, but this time I tried two dishes I've never ordered before (Samgyetang and Samgyupsal). The Samgyetang was delicious and I would like to order it again. I had barley tea, which said it boosts immunity. Everything was delicious and as a fan of Korean cuisine, I was very satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant offers elegant Korean cuisine in a sophisticated setting. The dishes were all meticulously prepared and of high quality, leaving me completely satisfied. The kimchi had a tangy flavor that complemented the other dishes well. This was the most satisfying Korean restaurant I've been to in recent years, and I look forward to visiting again soon. The atmosphere of the restaurant was clean and the staff were very polite and attentive, making it a very pleasant dining experience.

A Korean restaurant located in front of Ebisu Station. The restaurant is very close to the station, and sometimes places in such convenient locations prioritize location over taste. However, this place is delicious. On this day, I had Bibimbap for 1500 yen. Surprisingly, there were many appetizers! I wanted to eat a lot of vegetables, so I was happy about this. In addition to vegetables, there was also mackerel kimchi. Bibimbap also had plenty of vegetables. I sprinkled the seasoned seaweed that came with the appetizers on top. The sauce was slightly sweet. With rice bowls, the rice tends to be the main focus, but here you get plenty of vegetables, satisfying both taste and nutrition.

I called the restaurant directly around 7 pm on the same day and was told that I could get a table around 8:40 pm. I insisted and ended up being able to enter the restaurant around 8 pm. The restaurant seemed familiar yet unfamiliar, perhaps because of its popularity due to its prime location in front of the station. The atmosphere was lively with many young people in their late 20s to early 40s. The restaurant had a glass-walled kitchen where young staff members were busy moving back and forth. The interior was simple but clean, and you could see the dishes at the neighboring tables, which was quite stimulating. Since I had been drinking since morning (not a good reason, but oh well), I ordered some live makgeolli and lemon sour as chasers. I couldn't decide between bulgogi and sukiyaki for the main dish, but ended up choosing the tteokbokki. Before the main dish, I ordered a few appetizers: - Bossam Kimchi: Tuna, amberjack, shrimp, and other seafood mixed with kimchi. It was delicious, and the performance of cutting it with scissors in front of us was quite entertaining. - Seasonal Vegetable Kochujang Salad: This day's dish was water eggplant. The unique seasoning made it refreshing and tasty. - Seafood Jeon: Thicker than the usual jeon, it had a chewy texture and was quite voluminous. Some may love it, while others may not. - Tteokbokki: The staff cut a whole chicken into pieces and cooked it until the broth was rich and flavorful. The amount was overwhelming, but all the dishes were delicious and healthy. The cutting performance with scissors added to the fun atmosphere. I could see why this place is popular. I would definitely come back again. Thank you for the meal!

I really wanted to eat Korean food, so I visited this restaurant. I don't remember much from my previous visit a few years ago when I came with a date, but I do remember that the food was delicious and the portions were huge! This time, there were four adults, including men, so we were ready to eat. The restaurant is very beautiful and the service from the staff is excellent. The pickled vegetables served as an appetizer were delicious, and the plates were lovely. The assorted kimchi was beautifully arranged in a nice basket, which was a delight for the ladies. The assorted namul included unique items like potatoes and okra, which were surprisingly tasty. The steamed pork belly was thicker than I expected, with a firm texture. The fatty parts were just about to melt, although I prefer them to be more tender. The iron plate dish was like a stir-fried hormone dish with a sweet and savory flavor that Japanese people love. The main dish of the day was the dak-galbi soup, which had a light broth but was packed with the deliciousness of chicken. The saltiness of the dishes was on the stronger side, which might be a bit much for some people. I drank the soup eagerly and ended up too full to finish the meal. I would say the bulgogi is the most recommended dish, which is at the top of the menu. I would like to try it next time. I will definitely come back with a larger group. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I finally got to visit the Korean restaurant "Suji Kan" that I've been wanting to go to! When it comes to stylish Korean cuisine, Suji Kan is highly rated among people around me. They offer both course menus and a rich selection of a la carte dishes, making it enjoyable to choose from the menu. This time, I opted for the a la carte menu. Seafood Jeon (Korean pancake) - 1500 yen. Jeon seems to be a popular dish at this restaurant, so I decided to try it. It was fluffy and chewy, with a flavorful taste. There were about 6 different types of Jeon on the menu, so I would like to try others next time! Seared Wagyu Yukhoe (beef tartare) - 1900 yen. This was incredibly delicious! The searing was perfect, giving it a crispy and fragrant texture, and the beef was so tender. This might be my favorite Yukhoe I've ever had. I definitely want to order this again. Wagyu Beef and Vegetable Bulgogi - 4500 yen. The meat was tender and the dish was simple and easy to eat with no strong flavors. It was great to see plenty of fresh vegetables served with it. I finished off with a parfait for dessert. The Chamisul Fresh soju was delicious and went down smoothly (laughs). The service was good, the atmosphere was nice, and the dishes were served at a good pace... I can see why this place is popular! The pricing is on the higher side for Korean cuisine, but so far, Suji Kan and Mamachip are my favorite Korean restaurants. It's a place worth knowing about. Thank you for the meal!

I have visited this place at night as well, and it is very delicious. Various dishes come out little by little, so even if you go with two people, you can enjoy tasty food. The lunch menu is also satisfying with good value for money. If this restaurant was nearby, I would want to go there at least three times a week.
