I accidentally posted a review at the main store, so I'm reposting it here. Anyway, you have to try the tamagoyaki in Tsukiji. There were about 20 people in line, so I decided to buy it here. The tamagoyaki was fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness. It was delicious!

Marutake, known for its delicious tamagoyaki (rolled omelette), also offers sushi which is great value for money. The sushi pieces are large and filling, with a good balance of ingredients and rice. It's interesting that you can also enjoy both warm and cold dishes from Marutake.

You can buy souvenir tamagoyaki at department stores, but the only place where you can eat freshly cooked tamagoyaki for 100 yen is here! There is always a line, and the freshly cooked egg is more delicate than expected, slightly sweet, and has a subtle dashi flavor. It might be worth comparing it with the other shop, Yamanaga-san.

Actually, it was Terry under the mask! At "Marutake 2" in Tsukiji Market, a tamagoyaki specialty store with a name like a battleship. It is well known that Terry Ito's family runs this shop. The reason for the large crowds at this shop is because they cut freshly baked tamagoyaki into bite-sized pieces, skewer them on toothpicks, and sell them for 100 yen each. The shop was crowded with mostly non-Japanese customers. Other tamagoyaki shops were also doing the same thing to attract customers. The thick tamagoyaki (720 yen including tax) was easy to buy without waiting in line. There are also tamagoyaki with fillings, but the simple one is the most delicious. This one is easy to carry around, so it's best to eat it after chilling it properly or you can also heat it in the microwave before eating. It's a Kanto-style sweet tamagoyaki with a rich flavor. The dreamy tamagoyaki with plenty of dashi. There's no way it could taste bad. Delicious. But if you eat only this, well, bon appétit!

I was planning to do some morning activities in Toyosu, but surprisingly there were not many shops open, so I decided to head to Tsukiji instead. I wanted to leisurely stroll around and ended up at Kitsuneya for some motsu-ni, but the line was too long. The fluffy egg omelette was delicious, with a sweet flavor and a strong bonito broth. Since I hadn't eaten anything in the morning, I devoured it quickly. Now, I'm thinking of comparing it with the neighboring Yamachou. Thank you for the meal.

I had a freshly made tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelette). While exploring Tsukiji Outer Market, I was drawn in by the shocking price of 100 yen and the aroma of dashi, so I decided to buy it. This place is famous as the family home of Terry Ito. There was a photo of Terry Ito displayed prominently. The tamagoyaki was freshly cooked. Steam was rising in the autumn sky. The taste was subtly sweet. The flavor of dashi was also strong. The thick layers provided a satisfying texture and allowed the flavor of the eggs to shine. I thought that because of its simple menu, it was able to bring out the umami that had been cultivated over its history. It might be nice to visit after enjoying seafood in Tsukiji and refresh your palate. Also, as the season gets colder, freshly made tamagoyaki may be even more delicious. I visited on a weekday afternoon and there wasn't much of a line, so it was good. There are other tamagoyaki shops in the area, but I highly recommend this one.

This is a shop in Tsukiji where you can eat tamagoyaki. It is served on a paper plate. The tamagoyaki is moist and slightly firm, with a sweet flavor. I personally prefer dashi-based tamagoyaki, so that's why this review is like this, but if you like sweet tamagoyaki, definitely give it a try.

Tamagoyaki specialty store located along the first street of the outer market from Tsukiji Market Station. It is famous as the family home of Terry Ito, and the adjacent second store also sells freshly baked tamagoyaki. When I visited around 11 o'clock on Saturday, the live demonstration had already ended. They were cutting and serving the stored tamagoyaki on plastic plates to keep warm. I purchased the thickly baked "Freshly Baked Tamagoyaki (¥100)" and immediately took a bite. The thick tamagoyaki was sweet, moist, and bouncy. It was firm yet gentle, with a nostalgic flavor that would go well with a bento. I tried tamagoyaki at two other stores, but this one tasted the most like home cooking and was my favorite. My companion, on the other hand, preferred the freshly baked truffle tamagoyaki, so it seems like personal preferences vary. There are many other tamagoyaki specialty stores, but I would like to aim to visit them all.

This is a comparison of tamagoyaki at "Marubu-san". It is described as freshly baked, but it was more like freshly steamed. The tamagoyaki was fluffy, with a strong dashi flavor and a subtle sweetness. As a middle-aged person, I preferred this tamagoyaki (lol). Thank you for the meal ('◇')ゞ3.5

Of course, you can also take it to go, and the tamagoyaki for takeout looks really delicious with eel and mentaiko inside! I bought it for 100 yen and ate it on the spot. Since it was freshly grilled, it was fluffy and hot. When I bit into it, the dashi broth oozed out, which was also incredibly delicious. I felt it was a bit sweet for my taste, but it was so fluffy that I finished it quickly. It was so tasty.

#Best meal in Tsukiji is not just seafood❗️Visited the famous Tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette) shop owned by Terry Ito, Marutake. There were many people in front of the shop, so I peeked in and found a Tamagoyaki shop❗️And the freshly grilled one was only 100 yen, a trial price♂️ I had a piece of warm and gently sweet Tamagoyaki and it was so delicious... I regretted not buying another one for the train ride back, but that's just between us. 😂

Tamagoyaki costs 100 yen per piece (freshly baked). While I was already full from eating a seafood bowl at another restaurant, I wanted to further explore Tsukiji and try more things. That's when I noticed the line forming at Marutake, a shop with people waiting to purchase. Whenever there's a line at a restaurant, it makes you want to join in, right? The shop had a simple structure with no dining area, focusing on takeout. You could see the tamagoyaki being cooked at the back of the shop. The tamagoyaki was skewered and served in a styrofoam container, priced at 100 yen per piece, which was a good deal. When I tried the tamagoyaki, I was impressed by how thick it was! It looked like it had multiple layers. Being freshly baked, it was warm and slightly sweet. It reminded me of the tamagoyaki my mother used to pack in my lunchbox during my school days. It was delicious! As I ate, I noticed something - the tamagoyaki was yellow! (Which is obvious, but still worth mentioning). Unlike the tamagoyaki my mother made, which had some white parts, Marutake's tamagoyaki had no white parts at all. I'm not sure if they only use egg yolks, have a special mixing technique, or a secret to baking, but it was tasty. I also liked that it was easy to eat on the go. If you ever visit Tsukiji, I recommend trying a piece. Thank you for the meal.

Marutake is one of the two famous specialties of Tamagoyaki. I had been going to Tsukiji but I discovered this place on this day. I had always wondered where it was, but couldn't find it. Perhaps because it's not easily noticed, there weren't many people lining up. I received a Tamagoyaki from the lively shop owner and tried it. I cut it with the small fork that came with it and ate it. The sweetness was stronger than I had imagined. It spreads in the mouth more like sweetness than dashi. I had seen some harsh comments on Tabelog before, but I don't think it's as bad as they say. In fact, I found it delicious. It's the kind of deliciousness that makes you want to eat more. Tamagoyaki for eating on the go: 100 yen.

This is a review of a famous tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelette) shop in Tsukiji. The second store has a higher overall rating on Tabelog compared to the main store, even though the main store has more reviews. It seems that only the second store sells tamagoyaki when visited.
Items purchased:
- Thick Tamagoyaki (Large) - 640 yen each: A strong tasting tamagoyaki with a strong flavor of dashi and sugar. The texture is firm and satisfying.
- Ebi-Tama (Large) - 700 yen each: Tamagoyaki with sakura shrimp mixed in. The tamagoyaki flavor is dominant, with the shrimp being more of an accent.
The shop has the advantage of being the family of a celebrity, but otherwise, it is a fairly ordinary shop. The tamagoyaki options are basic and there were no freshly made ones available during the visit.

I went food hopping at Tsukiji Outer Market. I hadn't been here in a while since an employee recommended it, so I decided to visit again. It was a bit quiet due to the long weekend. We parked the car and started our food hopping adventure. Our first stop was a tamagoyaki specialty shop run by Terry Ito's family. We arrived at 9:12 with three people. This was their second shop. The aroma of tamagoyaki was delightful. Each tamagoyaki cost 100 yen, perfect for food hopping. The freshly cooked tamagoyaki was thick and hot. It had a sweet flavor, which is not usually my preference, but I found it delicious. I would recommend it for food hopping. Thank you for the meal.

Thank you for always liking my postsヽ(・∀・)ノ【Tsukiji Outer Market Food Tour】I was invited by my boss to go on a food tour at Tsukiji Outer Market with two colleagues. We left Yokohama by car around 8:00 in the morning and arrived at Tsukiji Outer Market after 9:00. We parked at a nearby parking lot. We tried the tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelette) at Marutake. It is a famous shop that has been featured in the media and is also the actual family business of Terry Ito. The main shop specializes in souvenirs, so we went to this shop next door. The tamagoyaki was priced at 100 yen per piece for the food tour. It had a beautiful char on the outside. It was slightly sweet and very hot, so the sweetness really stood out. Overall, we enjoyed the high quality and delicious tamagoyaki at this well-known shop. Thank you for the meal!

I had seen on TV that Terry Ito's family runs an egg omelette shop, and I finally got to visit it for the first time. The omelette was served piping hot with a flavorful broth, and it had just the right amount of sweetness that I like. It was delicious. I wasn't sure if all the staff were Terry Ito's family members, but they were all very kind, and I enjoyed watching them cook the omelettes right in front of me. I'll definitely come back to buy more next time. Thank you for the meal!

Before breakfast... no, perfect for Omaze☆ or maybe even as a dessert after eating out. While strolling around Tsukiji Outer Market, taking a little break. The freshly baked fluffy and sweet egg omelette is irresistible. There are several shops specializing in egg omelettes in this area. Originally, just like sushi restaurants buy fish, they also started buying thick egg omelettes. The large yellow blocks of freshly baked egg omelettes are a masterpiece of craftsmanship. Eating them while they are still hot is wonderful. Compared to the typical sushi toppings, which are served cold and have a soft texture... of course, that is also delicious. Enjoying the warmth of a hot egg omelette that can be bought for 100 yen. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

◆ Tamagoyaki 100 yen
This tamagoyaki at Tsukiji has outstanding popularity and reputation! Priced at 100 yen per piece, it is very reasonable, and it's great that you can enjoy it freshly cooked on the spot (o^^o). It is moistly cooked with a slightly sweet taste, which is characteristic. If only I had arrived about 3 minutes later, I could have eaten tamagoyaki that had just been brought from the grill (lol). Thank you for the meal (^^). On Instagram "yuichi.gourmet," I update almost in real-time. Please refer to it and follow if you like. (Note: the account may be set to private)

I had always wanted to come to this one store. When I got close, they said, "We only have a few left!" and I saw there were 5 left! Just made it! I bought one and ate it standing in front of the store. It tasted like the egg omelette from a sushi restaurant - hot and sweet with a rich flavor. It was surprisingly big, but I finished it quickly like a snack. After I finished, I looked at the store and there were still about 5 left...? Actually, I saw several people buying them, but it didn't seem like they were running out. They tricked me by saying they only had a few left.
