After eating fresh oysters, we headed to Torajirou. There's a new branch that's been getting a lot of attention - Byoban? Come to think of it, I've never been to the main branch before. It's been a while for me, but my friend has been there quite a bit and we were able to get in without a reservation. This time we sat at the counter. Many people around us were ordering sushi sets, but we decided to order a la carte. The chef in front of us made the sushi and told us about the seasonal ingredients. ★Medium fatty tuna sashimi - 3 pieces, melts in your mouth, delicious fat ★Sake - we had it cold ★Squid ★Yellowtail ★Tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette) ★Whelk You can order sushi piece by piece. Everything was delicious. The bill came out to around 6,300 yen for two people, which was not as expensive as we expected. And we were able to use PayPay as well. For those who want to eat a lot, the set might be a good option.

Today, I decided to try a new restaurant that I had never been to before. As I was wandering around, I stumbled upon a small alley with several shops. I decided to explore and found a sushi restaurant where I saw foreigners enjoying delicious-looking sushi. I ordered the "Gokku" and two oysters, which were all very tasty. I really enjoyed the experience and would love to go back again.

I went before 10 o'clock on a regular day. There was no waiting time. It was my first time at Tsukiji. I ordered 8 pieces of tuna sushi. I liked the medium fatty tuna the most. It was fun to see the sushi being made right in front of me. However, I felt a bit uncomfortable when I saw them casually put back a piece of sushi that had fallen off the sushi board with a smile (it had water droplets on it). It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Wandering around Tsukiji. Found a counter in a crowded alley. Interesting. Ordered a variety of dishes and finished with sushi. It was delicious, so we added some sashimi and miso soup. The menu had a wide selection of dishes and drinks, and we were satisfied. However, Tsukiji has become quite touristy lately. Even on a weekday night, we were the only locals at the counter. It was strange to dine and chat with people from different countries in Tsukiji, but it was an interesting experience.

During my recent trip to Tokyo, I stayed overnight at a hotel in Higashi-Ginza and decided to have breakfast at Tsukiji Outer Market as planned. The market was bustling with tourists, and I was excited to try out different food stalls. I had researched the location of a specific restaurant the day before, so I headed there early in the morning. However, there was already a long line, which turned out to be for a uni (sea urchin) specialty store called "Uni Tora." I managed to find the restaurant I was looking for, "Tsukiji Torazou Bekkan," tucked away in a narrow alley. The chef skillfully prepared a luxurious sushi platter called "Ren" consisting of 11 types of sushi, including fatty tuna, red snapper, squid, shrimp, sea urchin, and more. The quality of the sushi was exceptional, with each piece bursting with flavor and freshness. The price was a bit high, but the overall satisfaction was worth it. I truly enjoyed my dining experience at Tsukiji and look forward to visiting Toyosu Market next time.

It was still a little cold when I headed to this place. It was a holiday afternoon after 1 pm, and as expected, there was a line. Many foreigners were also there. However, I was informed that they could seat us in a separate room with table seating instead of at the counter. While I enjoy watching the chef's work from the counter, I had other plans and had to settle for the table seating. There was only one group of customers already seated at the spacious table, and another group arrived after us. We ordered Nigiri Sushi for 3600 yen, Three-Color Donburi for 3450 yen, Edomae Tamago for 600 yen, and draft beer for 750 yen. One of my friends in the group is not fond of ikura in the Three-Color Donburi, so they kindly switched it for scallops. I can't help but keep coming back to Torajou-san's restaurant even after exploring other places. It never disappoints, and I left feeling satisfied. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Arrived on Sunday around 8 am. Waited in line for 30 minutes among 5 groups before being seated. Ordered 2 plates of chef's choice sushi for 3,900 yen each, salted pollack roe, and 1 beer, totaling around 9,100 yen. The rice overwhelmed the vinegar taste, making it feel more like seafood on rice rather than sushi. It seemed like they wanted to offer a lot of food for a cheap price to tourists. The size of the rice was disappointing. The fish seemed fresh though. It was convenient to walk here from nearby, but if you came from far away and waited in line for this, it would be quite a shock.

I ordered the Nagomi set, which comes with 7 pieces of assorted nigiri sushi and a roll. I went to the restaurant around 1 pm on a holiday, waited for about an hour, and finally got seated. The sushi at Tsukiji was fresh and delicious. The sea urchin was the most impressive.

I visited Torasaburuya Bekkan in Tsukiji, Tokyo for the first time! The restaurant was reserved by a friend's husband, so I am not sure about the price. We ordered a la carte instead of a course menu. As a sushi lover, I must say that the quality of the fish was top-notch and incredibly fresh and delicious. It is rare to find a place where you can enjoy live shrimp sushi. There are many delicious sushi restaurants in Tokyo, but I highly recommend this one! They have both counter and table seats, but the seating is limited, so I suggest making a reservation before visiting. It was truly delicious. Thank you for the meal!

The atmosphere of Showa era outside Tsukiji Market on a weekday night is relaxed. Located near the famous sushi chain's main store with a large doll of the company's president with arms wide open, this sushi restaurant along the walkway allows for a leisurely dining experience. During the day, it tends to be crowded with Tsukiji tourists, but at night, you can enjoy a quiet and serene meal. In addition to sushi, you can also savor Japanese dishes such as tempura and steamed dishes. While there is a growing trend of sushi restaurants offering only omakase menus, this place still allows you to order individual pieces, which is great for enjoying a meal with close friends or family while chatting over sushi. A good option for a weekday night out.

I visited around 8:30 in the morning on a weekday. There were 3 people at the counter seats, but I was able to sit without waiting. I had the eight-piece tuna sushi set. The otoro, chutoro, akami, and fatty tuna were all so delicious that I wanted to savor them for a lifetime. It was a pleasant way to start the morning.

I stayed for about 30 minutes at Tsukiji Market for the first time! It was around 4 pm in the evening, and it was raining, so there weren't many people walking around. I wanted to try some sushi at a shop in a back alley, so I ordered my favorite sushi a la carte. The fatty tuna was incredibly delicious, so I ended up ordering more. The sushi was amazing, and I also got to try a big oyster which was delicious too!

When you come to Tsukiji, you'll want to eat delicious fish from the morning. It's the height of luxury to be able to eat such delicious tuna bowls from the morning. This shop only has a counter. It's great to drink beer from the morning. The fatty tuna completely melts. It's so delicious.

I went on my first visit to Tsukiji Market for sightseeing and had breakfast. Instead of the shops on the main street, I found a popular spot tucked away in a narrow alley between buildings. Despite being full, I was able to get a seat quickly as it seemed that they don't serve alcohol in the morning and have a fast turnover. I ordered the Kana set for 3450 yen, which included 8 pieces of sushi, a mini salmon roe bowl, Edo-style rolled omelette, and a soup. The sushi pieces were thick and delicious, especially the fatty tuna and plump shrimp. The rice portions were quite large, so I recommend ordering a smaller size, especially for women. I wish I had done that in hindsight. The service could be improved, but it didn't seem to matter as the place was always busy. With long opening hours, it seems convenient for various schedules.

I searched for a place to have a daytime drink and found "Tsukiji Torazou Bekkan" in Tsukiji, which I visited for the 2nd or 3rd time. I ordered a highball and a sashimi platter with 5 types of fish: fatty tuna, horse mackerel, shrimp, red clam, and white fish. Everything was fresh and delicious, and I also ordered a bottle of cold sake, Hakkaisan. I asked if they had any grilled dishes or other snacks, but they said those were only available in the evening, so I left the restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

I had a luxurious lunch without waiting. Today's bowl: Special 4450 yen, Extreme 6750 yen, Draft beer 750 yen. I wandered around the outskirts and found many different types of restaurants run by Torajiro-san. There were standing eateries and places specializing in rice bowls. The Uni specialty shop at the entrance was also run by Torajiro-san. I like rice bowls, but I prefer sushi! I visited this place, but next time I might try another restaurant. I traveled far to enjoy delicious tuna today. Thank you for the feast.

The food was extremely oily and delicious. The staff was friendly and I was able to enjoy my meal. I went at 1 pm and didn't have to wait in line. It was the last day of Golden Week, so maybe everyone was relaxing at home?

It's a little past 10 o'clock on Tuesday. On the middle day of Golden Week, just like last year, I took a leisurely stroll around the Tsukiji Outer Market. I bought some affordable sushi ingredients and headed back to my nest to enjoy some Japanese sake and hand-rolled sushi. I purchased tuna, sea urchin, flounder, striped shrimp, and mixed seaweed from several shops, and now it's time for an early lunch. All the main street restaurants had long lines, so I found this place called "Torazou" in a narrow alley. It used to be a seafood izakaya, and I had visited once on a Saturday night many years ago. The counter is shaped like the letter L, with acrylic dividers for each customer. I ordered the cheapest sushi option, which I can't remember the name of. The sushi arrived shortly after - two pieces of fatty tuna, lean tuna, red snapper, squid, sea urchin, red shrimp, hand-rolled sushi, tamago, soy sauce marinated salmon roe mini bowl, and seaweed miso soup. The quality of the ingredients was great. The rice was slightly sweet, with a hearty and down-to-earth Edo-style sushi-making style. It's nice to have a sushi chef make it right in front of you. I quickly devoured the sushi in just a few minutes. And that's it, thanks for the meal.
