At Aqua City in Odaiba, there is an Indian restaurant! Due to heavy rain, there were fewer people, so I was able to sit at a window seat with a beautiful night view! There didn't seem to be set meals, so I ordered curry and naan separately! There were various choices for naan, which was fun! But in the end, the cheese naan was delicious, and I felt that the regular naan was the best! The food was tasty, but I felt it was a bit expensive as naan and curry are usually affordable. However, the interior of the restaurant was beautiful, so I'm satisfied! Thank you for the meal!

My daughter and I were seated by the window with a great view. The lunch menu was surprisingly affordable at 980 yen. At first, we were told there was no kids' menu during lunch time, but they ended up preparing a kids' curry set for us. It was a nice restaurant with a good atmosphere and not too crowded.

After work, I decided to stop by Odaiba Station for the first time in about 10 years and felt nostalgic. Instead of heading straight to Shinbashi, I got off the train in the middle and thought about having dinner at Aqua City. It was still around 6:30 pm on a weekday, and the place was empty. I wondered if Odaiba was okay. The restaurants on the floor were either crowded or empty, giving off a somewhat deserted vibe compared to the past. I felt like having curry, so I went in and was greeted by an amazing view! The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, with two other couples already seated by the window. Despite being alone, I was also seated by the window and could enjoy the night view of Odaiba. There was a set menu where you could choose two out of four curry options, but I decided to go with a la carte as the ones I wanted were not included. Overall, the dishes were a bit salty but delicious. The sesame-fried shrimp was a new experience for me, crispy and tasty. I really liked the mint sauce that you could add to it. Perfect with beer. The Indian(?) waiter was very kind, making sure I didn't feel lonely and engaging in conversation throughout. However, when I checked the bill on the Yurikamome train, I realized they had charged me for two cups of chai instead of one that I had ordered! Oh well, it was still a good time for a solo female diner, so I wouldn't mind going back again. ^_^

【Indian Cuisine in Mumbai】Located 5 minutes on foot from Odaiba Kaihin Koen Station⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This time, I made a reservation at an Indian restaurant. The staff were very friendly. This restaurant is popular for its authentic Indian cuisine and Tandoori grill. We ordered two types of curry and two types of naan, all of which were delicious, and we had a great time. —————————— 【Shop Information】 Tokyo, Minato-ku, Daiba 1-7-1 Aqua City Odaiba 6F Open 【Mon-Fri】Lunch 11:00-14:30 (L.O), Dinner 15:00-22:00 (L.O) 【Sat-Sun-Holidays】Lunch 11:00-15:30 (L.O), Dinner 16:00-22:00 (L.O) Reservations available Budget ¥3000-¥4000 ——————————

Located on the sea side of the 6th floor of Aqua City Odaiba is the Indian restaurant Mumbai Aqua City Odaiba branch. It had been about 1 year and 9 months since my last visit to Aqua City Odaiba. Due to the impact of the new coronavirus, vacant shops are noticeable in the restaurant area on the 5th and 6th floors of Aqua City Odaiba. I was looking for a place to have lunch, and I was drawn to the lunch menu panel at the storefront, so I decided to visit the Indian restaurant Mumbai Aqua City Odaiba branch. This was my first visit here. It was around 12:00 on a weekday, but the restaurant was empty. I ordered two sets of the weekday lunch menu "Single Curry Set" for 980 yen each (including naan, rice, and salad). I chose A Daily Special (medium spicy) and C Chicken (medium spicy). Most of the staff were foreigners, and many of them seemed to be from India. However, the taste of the curry did not quite live up to the authentic Indian flavors.

Visited an Indian curry restaurant in Odaiba AQUA City in March 2022. It had been about 4 years since my last visit. It was around 1 pm on a weekday, and the restaurant was almost empty with only one group dining. I chose a window seat for lunch. I ordered the double curry set from the lunch menu, which came with two types of curry, naan, mini rice, salad, and papad (crispy snack?). The best part was that you could have unlimited refills of naan and rice for just 1030 yen, which was quite reasonable. I selected "Shrimp and Mushroom" curry (sweet) and the "daily special" curry (spicy). The shrimp and mushroom curry was like a seafood version of butter chicken, which I personally loved. The naan was served hot and fresh, very fluffy and easy to eat. The window seat offered a great view of the Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Tower, making it one of the best views in Tokyo! One concern was the noticeable number of vacant stores in AQUA City, which I hadn't seen before. With the newer DiverCity nearby, it's understandable, but it's a shame to see this slight sense of quietness in a place I used to enjoy for its lack of crowds. It makes me wonder about its future...

On a regular night, I visited here with my daughter. I had been here once before, and the night view is really nice, isn't it? I do think the prices for the food are a bit high, but considering it as a night view fee, it's not so bad. There were few people on weekdays, so we could enjoy our meal quietly. I would like to visit again someday.

Last week, the Kawazu cherry blossoms planted around Aqua City were beautiful, so I took my wife for a walk to Odaiba. It was lunchtime, so we decided to have lunch on the side where we could see the Rainbow Bridge. The Ramen Kokugikan also had a terrace where you could eat, but it was a bit cold today. As we walked around, we found a place with a lively atmosphere and a buffet table by the window, so we decided to eat there. When we entered, we realized that the window side was reserved for an Indian family celebrating a birthday, while the front was for regular customers. It was a lively scene with crackers popping and balloons popping, which felt nostalgic in these times of restraint. I thought to myself that Japanese people are serious, but this child is only this age once, so it's important to celebrate. I chose the Triple Curry Lunch (1430 yen tax included) where you can choose from 3 types of curry. Naan and rice are all-you-can-eat. I chose mutton, spinach (saag), and black pepper chicken from the 9 options. First, we had salad with the orange dressing typical of Indian restaurants, which I really liked. The hot naan and 3 curries arrived. Personally, I found the spiciness of all the curries to be mild. The papadum had a nice pepper aroma. The saag had a good umami flavor with the scent of spinach and spices. The mutton had a strong lamb aroma and wasn't overly spicy. The black pepper chicken had a sharp spiciness with black pepper sprinkled on the chicken curry. The saffron rice, although made with japonica rice, had an authentic feel to it. I couldn't resist getting a refill of naan. If it weren't for the private reservation, the view of the Rainbow Bridge would have been nice. My wife, who is not good with spiciness, gave up on the papadum halfway through. She chose the curry with butter chicken, shrimp and mushrooms, and beans, finding the beans spicy and the shrimp slightly spicy. Overall, it was a delicious meal.

This is my first visit. The interior of the restaurant is filled with a sense of luxury, and Indian movies are being projected on the screen. The night view seen through the glass is amazing. I think it would be perfect for a date, but this time I visited with five staff members from my company. We chose the Premium Curry Set, which was around 3000 yen. It included two curries, Tandoori chicken, rice, and naan, with a drink. The curry itself was standard, but the spices were pleasantly delicious. The luxurious atmosphere of the restaurant was the highlight. If I have the opportunity to come here again, I would definitely want to visit.

In the midst of it all, I used to frequent Mumbai-san in the food court of Aeon in Kitatoda because the food was delicious. I decided to visit the restaurant version of Mumbai-san as well because the food court was so good. Despite the high train fare from Meguro to Odaiba on the Rinkai Line, I thought it would be better to ride my bike there instead. However, I found out that bicycles are not allowed on the Rainbow Bridge, so I had to push my bike across, which took about 37 minutes. If I had stayed at a company located in Tamachi where I started as a new graduate, and bought a high-rise apartment in Odaiba just for the ocean view, I might have considered biking to work by crossing the Rainbow Bridge, but that plan never came to fruition due to the ban on bicycles. One time, while returning home after drinking in Akabane, I fell asleep on the Saikyo Line and woke up suddenly at a station I had never heard of before, Tokyo Teleport. I was the only person on the platform, which scared me, so I quickly got off the train and walked to a commercial building on the 6th floor where I found a stylish and trendy place with a nice view of Tokyo Bay and the Rainbow Bridge. It was a great spot for someone like me, a born and raised Tokyoite. It was a weekend at 7 pm, and the place was quite empty due to the previous day's closing time being 8 pm because of COVID-19. The background music was Indian pop, and there were Indian movies playing on the monitor on the wall. I ordered a bottle of Indian sparkling wine for 3800 yen, which turned out to be surprisingly good. However, when I tried to open the bottle, the wire cage snapped and cut my finger, reminding me that Indian industrial products are not yet reliable. I tried the Tandoori Chicken Salad for 780 yen, Seekh Kebab for 800 yen, Masala Wings for 750 yen, and Mutton Biryani for 1800 yen. The food was delicious, especially the Tandoori Chicken and Seekh Kebab. The staff were all friendly and efficient, despite most of them being from Nepal. The place is wheelchair accessible and child-friendly, but it has a serene atmosphere in the evening, so it's best to be mindful of the vibe. It was a wonderful night, thank you for the meal.

I visited for lunch on a weekday. I arrived right at 11 o'clock, so I was the first one there. The menu for weekday lunches is different from weekends, and it's especially good value on weekdays. I had the option to choose three types of curry for 1,100 yen. The choices included: daily curry, bean curry, chicken curry, shrimp and mushroom curry, vegetable curry, mutton curry, and the daily paneer curry. Naan is free for refills, and I added basmati rice for an extra 300 yen. The set comes with yellow rice, but I prefer basmati rice. I had the shrimp and mushroom curry, the daily paneer curry (which was spinach that day), and the mutton curry. The shrimp and mushroom curry had a hint of cardamom and was sweet due to the coconut base. The daily paneer curry had chunky pieces of paneer and was creamy. The mutton curry was tomato-based. None of the curries were overly spicy but had a mellow and delicious flavor that would appeal to Japanese tastes.

I arrived at the restaurant at 1:30 PM and was served a salad along with the menu. The daily special was lotus root and chicken. I ordered the double curry set for 1200 yen before tax. I chose mutton and spinach paneer for the curries. The dishes arrived in about 5 minutes. The naan was a bit doughy, but the underside was burnt. The rice was too watery. The mutton curry was lightly spiced and refreshing. The spinach paneer lacked spice and had a creamy texture. The salad had a carrot-based dressing.

Coming to Aqua City, you might not think of choosing curry, but this is a hidden gem that you should definitely check out! If you can't decide because the surrounding restaurants are crowded, this is the place to go. Even if you're not by the window, the view is excellent! The tables are spacious, the aisles are wide, and the atmosphere is comfortable. I went on a weekend and ordered the Triple Curry & Naan Set for 1,300 yen with my spouse, enjoying six different flavors of curry. There were many types of curry, and the flavors were delicious. The naan and rice are all-you-can-eat, but there was so much on the plate that we couldn't eat enough to get seconds! The service was quick and efficient, with prompt seating and serving of water. All the staff are foreigners and give off an Indian vibe. The stylish glasses for the water also added to the mood, making us happy.

I chose the lunch set with two types of curry for 1000 yen and added cheese naan for 300 yen. I think the set with three types of curry for 1100 yen would have been a better deal. The food was delicious, but it was a bit pricey, as expected in a touristy area.

I ordered the "Double Curry & Naan Set" for 1200 yen from the holiday lunch menu. I chose the Chef's recommended chicken curry and shrimp curry. The curry had an authentic Indian curry flavor but was not too spicy, making it enjoyable for Japanese taste buds. The naan was fluffy and soft, with a hint of sweetness, which seemed to have been improved to cater to Japanese preferences. I had a delicious meal and enjoyed the good atmosphere and view of the restaurant, making it a pleasant holiday lunch experience.

The other day, a Nepalese customer expressed a desire to visit Odaiba, so I took them to Odaiba on a holiday. One of the places we stopped by was "Indian Cuisine Mumbai Aqua City Odaiba Store." It's about a 3-minute walk from the Yurikamome Monorail Daiba Station, located on the 6th floor of Aqua City Odaiba. As the title suggests, you can get a good view of my favorite Rainbow Bridge from the restaurant. The Nepalese customer had some dietary restrictions, so I thought having options would be good, and that's why I chose this place. During lunchtime, you can choose from 4 set menus and select a curry to go with it. Lunchtime includes all-you-can-eat naan and rice. I chose the Triple Curry Set for 1300 yen, with Butter Chicken, Mutton, and Black Pepper Chicken curries. Salad is included as well. The Butter Chicken was the sweetest, as expected. It was an okay taste for Butter Chicken. The Mutton and Black Pepper Chicken curries are marked with 3 chili symbols on the menu, indicating they are spicy. However, I didn't find them too spicy to eat, personally. Naan and rice are all-you-can-eat, as mentioned earlier, which was nice. However, I couldn't eat a lot anyway. You can change the types of naan and rice for an additional fee. The best part of this place is the view. Although the photo was taken from inside the restaurant, you can see the Rainbow Bridge like this. A wonderful view. Since Nepal doesn't have a sea, the person from Nepal seemed delighted and was taking lots of photos. It's just an artificial beach, though (laughs). As for amenities, they provide baskets. I'm not sure if they had hangers. I didn't notice. You can use a credit card, which is convenient. The staff are mostly foreigners, but there didn't seem to be any communication issues. In fact, this time they seemed to communicate in Nepali (laughs). Thank you for the meal. Personally, I wouldn't say it's an exceptionally delicious Indian restaurant, but the lunch includes all-you-can-eat naan and rice, the view is nice, and it might be good for regular visits. It could also be good for families. If you're interested, please give it a try.

I went around 2pm on Saturday afternoon, and the restaurant was empty. I was able to sit by the window with a great view of the sea and Rainbow Bridge. I ordered a set of three curries and a biryani set, each costing 1650 yen. When I sat down, they brought me water and a small salad. There were about six curry options to choose from, and I picked spinach, shrimp and mushroom, and butter chicken. All of them were not very spicy and easy to eat. The shrimp curry was quite sweet. The dishes looked a bit empty with not many ingredients, which was disappointing. The biryani had two large pieces of chicken and was rich in spices, giving it an authentic taste.
