Our family always gets our coffee from Saza Coffee at Shinagawa Ecute, where we have the beans ground. My husband and son both love coffee, and they particularly enjoy the wide variety of coffee available here. We purchase almost all the different types, including the limited edition coffees that are available seasonally. Currently, they have "Sakura" and "Ume" flavors. They also offer special coffees for Valentine's Day, White Day, Mother's Day (with "Thank you, Mom" packaging) and Father's Day (with "Thank you, Dad" packaging), as well as limited edition coffees for Christmas. There is also a counter seat where you can enjoy freshly brewed coffee made with a siphon, perfect for a break before catching the Shinkansen or during a shopping trip. My personal favorite is their coffee jelly, which lives up to its name of "The world's most delicious coffee jelly." It is made with authentic coffee and topped with cream on the spot, along with chocolate sauce and almonds. It is incredibly delicious. The freshness of the jelly makes it taste even better, and it always puts me in a happy mood. Today, I had the "Sakura" beans for 1,700 yen, the "Saza Deluxe Blend" beans for 1,500 yen ground for paper drip, and enjoyed a delicious Coffee Jelly in size M for 520 yen. Thank you for the meal.

I visited around 20:30 on a regular day. The seats were almost full. I ordered Castella Shortcake for 800 yen and today's coffee for 520 yen. The coffee was delicious, as expected, but the cake was surprisingly tasty! Instead of the usual sponge cake, they used Castella cake, which had a rich flavor. The combination of this dense cake with the creamy filling was excellent. Despite that, it had a light texture and I finished it in no time. Thank you for the meal!

After work, when transferring trains at Shinagawa Station, I decided to take a little break (lol) There are various things inside the station at Shinagawa, and I found a coffee shop called Zaza Coffee. It feels like a coffee brand maker's shop that they casually set up in a department store. I ordered the Golden Mocha Iced Coffee for 670 yen (tax included). It looks like they use a siphon-style brewing method. And there it was, the iced coffee. Wow~ ('0') It tastes so good~ I like fruity coffee, and this one is so elegant with its aroma and taste spreading in my mouth. It's very light, which is probably because of the siphon method, but it's not weak, the flavor is clear. It's nice to be able to enjoy this kind of coffee easily at a station. I would like to visit this shop again when transferring trains. Thank you for the meal. m(_ _)m

A coffee shop with its main store in Ibaraki. This time, I visited the shop inside JR Shinagawa Station, in the Ecute area. Although I like coffee (I currently work at a coffee bean store), I am not good with caffeine. I chose the decaf coffee this time, which I can drink even though I'm sensitive to caffeine. They brew it one by one with a siphon, and they announced that it would take about 4 minutes. I didn't mind waiting because I wasn't in a hurry. But it didn't actually take 4 minutes, I think. It was an iced coffee, with a slightly bitter and rich flavor, probably from the beans. However, it wasn't too bitter to the point where it would be difficult to drink on its own, so I found it easy to drink. It had a refreshing taste due to the rapid cooling process. If you have time, it's recommended to buy it before getting on the Shinkansen and leisurely enjoy it. They only have a large size, so keep that in mind. They also have seating space, so it seems like a good place to use for meetings or while waiting for a train.

In between transferring trains, Shinagawa Station is very convenient as you can buy deli foods and bread without exiting the ticket gates. It was so hot that day that I ended up buying a parasol as well. With some time to spare before my train, I felt like having a drink, so I was drawn to this shop. They asked me to secure a seat first for dine-in customers, so I did that. The iced cafe latte, priced at 580 yen including tax, was brought to my seat. It was rich and delicious. I will definitely use this place again!

The ferry departed from Tokushima Port in the morning and arrived at Tokyo Ariake Ferry Terminal 18 hours later the next early morning. The hot spring bath on board swayed with the ship, providing a relaxing experience. I enjoyed salt hormone and yakitori from the vending machines and microwaves, which turned out to be unexpectedly delicious. I watched a two-hour suspense drama on BS during the journey. From Ariake Ferry Terminal, I took a bus to Tokyo Station. I arrived at Tokyo Station around 6:30 am and then took the Tokaido Line to Shinagawa. From Shinagawa, I took the Keikyu Line to return home. I wanted to have a coffee break at Shinagawa Station, but due to the lack of open cafes in the early morning, I went to Ecute inside the station. I visited Saza Coffee, a coffee shop with a variety of coffee beans and unique coffee-based treats. I tried the Ice Cafe Latte made with Shogun Coffee, which was a bit pricey but worth it. The coffee shop also offered cakes, coffee jelly, and other coffee-related products. Overall, it was a pleasant coffee experience with a touch of history and culture.

"Saza Coffee Ekimae Shinagawa Store" located inside JR Shinagawa Station ticket gate. Originating from Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture, this coffee shop has expanded to 16 stores in locations such as Shinbashi Station and Omiya Station. They also operate a coffee plantation in Colombia. The name of the shop comes from the tea ceremony tradition of the Urasenke School called "Saza-shiki". The shop has only 10 counter seats, but many customers opt for takeout. I visited for the first time in a month to satisfy my craving for the "world's best coffee jelly" (520 yen). This time, there was a poster for castella shortcake, which made me hesitate, but I ultimately ordered the coffee jelly. The company president of Saza Coffee is a coffee jelly enthusiast who has traveled the world trying different varieties, and he named this one the "world's best" for a reason. The not-too-sweet coffee jelly has a rich and slightly bitter taste, with a firm texture. It is sweetened with condensed milk and topped with whipped cream, almond, and chocolate sauce for an elegant finish. Mixing it all together creates a delicious combination of sweetness and bitterness. This is a coffee jelly for adults. I feel like I will end up stopping by every time I use Shinagawa Station."

I took a little break before heading home. I couldn't resist the coffee jelly, so I was drawn to the sign claiming to have the world's most delicious coffee jelly. The coffee flavor was indeed rich and satisfying. The cream on top, chocolate sauce, and crunchy almonds added a delicious touch. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I took a break with a medium size cold brew coffee for ¥520 while waiting for the train. It wasn't crowded, I could sit down, and even though it was just a short time, it was relaxing. The coffee was delicious. *Visited around 9pm on a weekday, no waiting time, no line. Payment method: cash. Thank you for the meal!

At the Saza Coffee Ecute Shinagawa store in Shinagawa, there is a popular coffee shop known for their Castella Shortcake, which is only available at a few stores in Ibaraki. I received a tip from a friend and found out that the Ecute Shinagawa store receives a limited supply from the factory in Ibaraki on certain days. The store is small with only 10 seats, but I managed to find a seat on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered the Castella Shortcake and a Strawberry Shake. The Castella Shortcake was large and delicious, with a firm but not too sweet Castella sponge and light whipped cream that paired well with the strawberries. The Strawberry Shake was refreshing and had a strong strawberry flavor. Finally getting to try the Castella Shortcake was a satisfying experience, and it was a delicious cake that wasn't too sweet.

It's been a long time since I last visited Saza Coffee. Although the prices are high, I hesitated but ended up ordering the General's Iced Cafe Latte. The espresso was strong and had a nice acidity, making it very delicious. It would be nice if there was a smaller size available for the General's Iced Cafe Latte, both for the wallet and the stomach.

I stopped by here because I wanted to eat coffee jelly. It was said to be the best coffee jelly in the world, so I was looking forward to it, but... the amount of whipped cream on top was too much, and it almost tasted like cream. I wanted to just eat the coffee jelly, but the amount of whipped cream was too much. I apologized to the staff, but ended up leaving only the whipped cream. After finishing eating, I asked the staff, and they said that the price would remain the same, but the amount of whipped cream could be reduced. Next time, I want to try again with less whipped cream.

Before boarding the Shinkansen, I had some time so I took a break. There was a corner with various food items being sold. I tried the "Thank You, Mom" blend. It had a strong acidity which seemed to be liked by women. The taste was very enjoyable.

The world's best coffee jelly caught my attention, but it was no more calories, so I tried the Geisha Hunter 1000 Geisha blend. Hmm, it's slightly sour with a hint of something in the background, but it's a bit murky. It doesn't seem like they collected bad Geishas, maybe it's because it's a siphon brew. Single origin Geishas are sold for 3000.

There is a self-roasting coffee specialty shop in Hitachinaka City that always receives high praise from coffee enthusiasts nationwide, and there is also a branch in Shinagawa. They carefully cultivate coffee beans on their own farm in Colombia, as well as directly source beans from around the world. The service of having your order brought to your table is a nice touch. Although there are counter seats available, the limited seating space for dining in is a bit disappointing.

I remembered that Saza Coffee, a famous coffee shop in Ibaraki Prefecture, also has a location in Tokyo. Luckily, I stumbled upon it on my way and decided to stop by. I got a coffee to go and enjoyed it on the platform before boarding. I also bought some Madelines and coffee bean chocolates to take back to Akita. Even though I didn't drink my coffee inside the shop, I still enjoyed it at the platform, where it helped me warm up a bit in the chilly weather. The coffee tasted great, and the chocolate had a similar sensation to adult chocolate balls. The Madelines were delicious too, with a nice buttery flavor, just the right amount of sweetness, and a slightly larger size.

In Shinagawa Station, there is a coffee shop called Saza Coffee located in Ecute Shinagawa. It is a coffee shop based in Ibaraki known for increasing the value of Panama Geisha. Despite using Shinagawa Station many times, I have never noticed it before. You can either take out or enjoy your coffee at the counter table. I was lucky to find an empty counter table and decided to take a break there. The equipment they use is top-notch, with a MYTHOS ONE grinder, a Mahlkonig EK43 grinder, and a Toei Kogyo EAGLE ONE espresso machine. When I looked at the menu, I was surprised to see that they offer a single-origin Geisha coffee (Panama Esmeralda Farm Mario) for ¥3,000 per cup. Isn't it amazing to find this kind of coffee in a station? I wanted to try the Geisha, so I ordered the Geisha Hunter (¥1,000), which is a blend of Geisha coffee from different regions (Panama, Ethiopia, Colombia). It had a balanced acidity, with the aroma and sweetness of Geisha coffee coming through. The roast seemed to be medium to medium-dark. I think it tastes better than many other single-origin coffees. The shop is very serious about their coffee, as you can see by the equipment for cold brew and the thorough tasting process done by the staff before serving the coffee. Overall, it's a high-quality coffee stand in a station, and they also offer more affordable options.

Located inside Ecute Shinagawa within Shinagawa Station, this cafe mainly focuses on takeout orders with limited seating for dine-in customers. I visited for a post-meal coffee and ordered the daily coffee in medium size for 520 yen. The coffee was hand-dripped and served in a lovely cup. The beans used were Ethiopian Mocha, with a medium roast profile. It had a refreshing acidity and sweetness, making it a delicious and elegant coffee. Considering the quality, the price felt quite reasonable. The cafe was bustling with customers grabbing a coffee to go before catching their trains. I was impressed by the delicious coffee and would love to visit again.

A coffee shop inside the station where you can enjoy siphon coffee. Isn't that unusual? The customers passing by don't seem to order siphon-extracted coffee often, even if they are not particularly busy. What a waste, there is a really delicious coffee available (*_*). It was made in just three minutes. I ordered the Ethiopia Geisha. Although it is a standard drip coffee bean, I was surprised to learn that they can make it with a siphon at this shop. It brought back memories of the taste (๑´ڡ`๑). I have met important friends here before, and I often stop by here when leaving Tokyo. This time, as usual, I couldn't say that. But I was happy. Because I have realized that my taste buds have grown a lot more delicate and sharp over the past two years. Of course, my taste buds may change, but the strange deliciousness of coffee is more vivid than memory. The fresh fruity taste characteristic of Geisha remained even when extracted with a siphon, with acidity like apple or peach, mild and smooth texture, that is, a smooth oily feeling (a little different from nutty texture). It was much stronger than regular drip coffee. And the taste stability was remarkable. It was surprising that the taste did not deteriorate or change much from piping hot to slowly cooling down. Also, the flavor profile and development of aromas are completely different from hand-drip coffee. I was also happy that my point card from two years ago was still usable (≧∇≦)b Thank you for working hard until the last day!! Have a great New Year!!

I ordered coffee from Kenya. It has a pleasantly sharp acidity in its depth. Lately, many roasters have been leaning towards light roasts, which I found disappointing, so this one's reliable depth is a relief. It's a matter of preference, though. I was indulging in matcha in Kyoto until yesterday, so the coffee from Saza is really hitting the spot.

Arrived at 8:50 on Thursday. There is an eat-in corner with a decent number of customers. They also offer takeout for the Shinkansen. I ordered a cold brew iced coffee because I drank too much alcohol yesterday and my throat was dry. Personally, I felt that the taste and price did not match well. Thank you for the meal.
