If you want to eat sushi at a reasonable price in Asakusa, this is the place to go. They have a wide selection of sake and fresh fish. In addition to sushi, they also offer fried and grilled dishes, making it a good choice for bringing foreign guests. There are only two table seats, so reservations are recommended.

I dropped by around 1pm on Sunday. There were a few seats available, so I smoothly took a seat at the counter. I have visited the Kaminarimon Yanagi-koji store a few times, which is a standing style eatery, while this Asakusa main store is a sit-down style. I ordered the following: - Seared 3-piece nigiri for 830 yen - White fish 3-piece nigiri for 690 yen - Tuna 3-piece nigiri for 980 yen - Live sazae sashimi for 980 yen - Golden eye snapper for 690 yen - Highball x3 for 490 yen each I also had the bluefin tuna head meat, seared mackerel, and snow crab, but I forgot to check the prices... Although the store is open, it might be better to order directly from the sushi chef for a more personalized experience. I always enjoy the bluefin tuna head meat and ended up getting seconds this time. Thank you for the meal.

The store opened at 11:30 AM, with a long line forming 30 minutes before. We had reserved seats on the second floor the day before. The menu looked delicious, and we ordered with excitement. This was our first time eating sushi in Tokyo, and we were curious about the taste. The sea urchin and salmon roe were sweet and tasty. The tuna head meat and blackthroat seaperch were also delicious. The first floor seemed like a high-end conveyor belt sushi, but we enjoyed a relaxed meal on the second floor where the master chef prepared our sushi. It was a great experience for us as tourists, and the food was very delicious.

The bill ended up being quite high. The 3-piece sushi set looked delicious. It was indeed tasty, but each plate cost around 700-900 yen, so the total bill came to 4,510 yen... even though I was dining alone... There weren't many affordable options on the menu. The ambiance of the restaurant was really nice. The chef was also very kind. When I have the money, I will definitely come back here without hesitation.

I visited in search of tuna head meat, but they didn't have it - my excitement dropped instantly. I was almost ready to leave without eating. I was really looking forward to the head meat... I wonder why they didn't have it? It's a conveyor belt sushi place, so I decided to calm down here. Two people handling around 20 seats on the first floor, it was quite chaotic. It wasn't easy to keep up with the orders. The wait was too long, which further lowered my excitement. It's probably a good thing we didn't eat too much. The rice portions were small, so I didn't feel too full. It would have been better if the dishes came out a bit faster. I also wasn't sure if they heard our orders properly. Thank you for the meal.

I went to "Hinatamaru" (Asakusa main store) for lunch today (photo 1). It's a conveyor belt sushi restaurant located near the Nakamise shopping street in Asakusa. Asakusa was very crowded on Sunday, but I was able to easily get a seat at this restaurant around 1 pm. The reason became clear later. I quickly grabbed 2 pieces of horse mackerel, which I like, as they passed in front of me. I also got a tekka maki. Then, I ordered 3 pieces of tuna and striped jack (photos 2, 3). I paid a total of ¥2,350, but I used a GoTo Eat meal voucher and paid the remaining ¥350 in cash. The prices were a bit high, but the quality of the sushi was good, so I think it was a reasonable price overall. However, I felt slightly unsatisfied with things like the lack of pickled ginger. The reason it wasn't crowded was probably because other nearby restaurants are rated better overall. That's my assessment.

In Asakusa, where there are many restaurants to choose from, my spouse and I followed our instincts and ended up at Hinatamaru Honten. The sushi is made to order, not on a conveyor belt. We ordered the special sushi set with 9 pieces, a roll, and clam soup for 2200 yen. We also had a few extra pieces of sushi and fried squid legs. It was a delicious and reasonably priced sushi restaurant. I wish there was a Hinatamaru near where I live.

The sushi restaurant I was planning to visit was temporarily closed, so I ended up here. There were only three groups of customers at the border of lunchtime, with foreigners starting to come back. It seems quite crowded during lunchtime. I ordered the deluxe sushi. The rice had almost no acidity or saltiness, maybe to not interfere with the flavor. The rolls with little filling were difficult to eat, as they lacked flavor. The sea urchin had no taste, the crab was okay, and the conger eel was tasty but thin and cold. I wanted to order a white fish sushi with ponzu sauce, but they couldn't do that due to freshness issues. Overall, I left feeling unsatisfied, but considering the set was ¥2200 and the sushi had good thickness, it's understandable. They also had small beers at a good price. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the popular Maguro (tuna) 5-piece nigiri set for 1150 yen at a long-established sushi restaurant in Asakusa! All five types of tuna were delicious with just the right amount of fat, melting in my mouth. Highly recommend the rare part of the tuna head meat! I also ordered the Hokkai 5-piece set for 1680 yen, with the ikura (salmon roe) having the perfect seasoning! The uni (sea urchin) was also easy to eat without any fishy smell.

While enjoying the Asakusa bar hopping, I stumbled upon a restaurant I found. In Asakusa, there are many simmered dishes, but after having simmered food, I felt like eating sashimi. The walls inside the restaurant were filled with menus and even introduced different parts of fish, making it enjoyable! When I entered the restaurant, which only had counter seats, I first had some sake. Then, authentic sushi and sashimi came out quickly, and I was impressed... The sake paired well too! The staff were friendly and easy to talk to, so it seemed like there were many regular customers. I would love to visit again when I go to Asakusa...

Today's lunch was at "Hinata Maru Asakusa Main Store," a conveyor belt sushi restaurant located in Asakusa's Shin-Nakamise Shopping Street. I stumbled upon this place by chance, but I found out that it is actually a shop directly managed by a fish market! This made me think that the sushi here might be a bit different from the usual conveyor belt sushi places. While they do offer conveyor belt sushi, they also have sashimi platters and unique nigiri sushi like head meat. I found the sushi here to be much tastier compared to the major conveyor belt sushi chain restaurants. Thank you for the delicious meal. m(_ _)m

I drank from lunchtime. I ordered a course meal and drinks separately. It started with chawanmushi, followed by simmered fish, nothing special up to this point. Then a vinegar dish was served, with plenty of fish, but I was already full. Next was grilled fish, which was delicious marinated cod. Then came a sashimi platter with thick slices of fish, especially good medium fatty tuna. I was so full. And then the tempura arrived. It was served without asking, and by this point it had been about an hour. I struggled to eat the tempura. Finally, sushi was served as the finale. Even though I still wanted to drink a little more, the sushi was served without asking, so I ate it quickly. After about 1.5 hours, I was practically pushed out the door before I could finish my meal. It felt like they were trying to get rid of me before I got too full. In total, it was 8000 yen per person for 2 glasses of beer, 1 glass of sake, and the meal. I wish they had let me stay a little longer.

I used this restaurant to meet up with my brothers who live in Tokyo, and we had a great time enjoying tasty sushi in a relaxed atmosphere where we could chat easily. Asahi Super Dry, fresh oysters, assorted sashimi with horse mackerel, toro (fatty tuna) and sea urchin gunkan sushi. The oysters were huge! All the sushi was delicious, especially the toro which was incredibly fatty. The quality was amazing, it didn't feel like a conveyor belt sushi place at all!

Suddenly asked out on a date by my mom. It was a strange time at 2pm in Asakusa, and I couldn't think of any good restaurants open at that time. I remembered a conveyor belt sushi place I wanted to try, so I headed to Hina Maru. Even though it was an odd time, there was a wait. The staff seemed overwhelmed, with one woman running the whole place. The sushi was decent for a conveyor belt place, but for the same price, I would prefer the fresh and generous servings at Miura Kaigan Misakimaru in Ueno or Shibuya. They offer a free tuna head sushi if you add them on LINE, which is a nice bonus. Thank you for the meal.

Nearby, there was a standing sushi restaurant with a long line during the daytime, so I looked it up and found out that this place is the conveyor belt sushi version of that restaurant. While the standing sushi place serves sushi by the piece, here they serve 2 pieces per plate, but the prices and lineup seem to be similar. I decided to visit this place. - Date/Time: I visited around 6:30 pm on the last day of a 3-day weekend without a reservation. There was one group waiting, but we were seated quickly. - Food: There aren't a lot of dishes, but they are all relatively delicious. There wasn't anything that I didn't like. In terms of cost performance, the squid at 140 yen was good, but in terms of taste, the head meat was the best! It was practically like fatty tuna! I want to go back just to eat the head meat. - Price: We ordered quite a lot of cheaper fish, and with about 10 plates for two people, it came out to around 4000 yen. Decent cost performance.

Asakusa station is a 4-minute walk away. The first floor has a rotating sushi belt, while the second floor is a regular sushi restaurant. The jackpot is on the second floor. The interior is clean, and the sushi is fresh with great value for money. They prepare abalone on the spot for 3,600 yen, serving every part including the teeth and liver. The tuna sashimi is thick, and the sliced shellfish is crunchy. The friendly chef's skills are excellent, and we were completely satisfied. We ordered a few more pieces, along with 3 highballs, 1 bottled beer, 1 sake, and half a bottle of wine, all for 14,000 yen for two people. If you skip the abalone, you can enjoy it for around 8,000 yen. Have rotating sushi on the first floor for lunch, and sit at the counter for dinner. I will definitely go back!
