Kanda's pride, a yakiniku and sake restaurant in Rokkakai Kai. We were welcomed into the circle of regular customers and started with the chef's special assortment, as shown in the first photo, which was a huge portion for two people. We grilled various cuts like lean meat, hormone, and sourcing on the charcoal grill. Enjoyed Japanese sake from the first glass. The charcoal grill is for sharing. Tongue, harami, heart, liver, tripe, maruchou, hormone. Standing bar, yakiniku. Rokkakai Group.

Visited Rokkakai after a long time around 8 pm on Thursday. Hardly recognized anyone there. The staff seemed different too. It was still hot as usual. Started with a sake called Nanada for a toast. The ritual of toasting hasn't changed. Grilled the assorted meat for 500 yen while chatting. It tasted delicious. Had another round of drinks. Felt a bit out of place and dropped out after two drinks. But I think the atmosphere hasn't changed.

Since I started going to Kanda, I've always been curious about this place. At 5:45 PM, there were 2 groups of customers with 3 people each. Just like the reviews on Tabelog, they mainly serve sake, with about 4 or 5 types available at all times. According to the regulars, they occasionally have some top-notch options. I had 3 glasses, and they were all delicious. For food, I ordered about 1,000 yen or 2,000 yen worth. The lean meat, pork belly, and spicy dishes were excellent. I stayed for about an hour and a half and spent 2,200 yen. I'll definitely be going back!

I had a friend make a reservation for me, and I went to Rokkakai in Kanda for the first time. The standing bar was packed with regular customers, but we managed to squeeze in. We joined our group, ordered our favorite sake from the selection, and raised our glasses together! The sake was as delicious as ever! It was all-you-can-drink, and the sweet sake options were perfect for the yakiniku. As someone who likes sweet sake, I thought they were all amazing! Even though they were sweet, there were also slightly spicy options, making them easy to drink for anyone. When you order meat in increments of two thousand yen, you get a generous portion like the one in the photo (one serving for two thousand yen). The meat was all fresh, with no unpleasant odor, and it was delicious! If they had rice, it would be even better! Be careful not to overeat! Depending on how you cook it, you might be best friends with the toilet the next day! Laugh out loud.

Rokkakai Group had been skipping this shop and exploring various other places, so I'm glad to finally visit this original shop and return to the basics. The standing yakiniku system creates a fun and communal atmosphere. It's essential to bring minimal baggage and wear low heels! I left the ordering to my regular friends and tried a variety of meat dishes. While waiting for the meat to be prepared, I enjoyed sake with meat miso as a side dish. Mr. Morita also made an appearance that night, making it even more enjoyable! The meat was incredibly delicious, as expected. This shop is more enjoyable for those with good communication skills. I definitely want to go back again and again!

I love the Rokkakai series, including Crossam Morita, Ginka, and Goshiki Sakura, but I decided to go back to the basics and visit Kanda Rokkakai with my girlfriends after a few years. It was small. I had forgotten how small it was after not visiting for a while, but seeing it again was a shock. We had made a reservation, so we were squeezed in with our group of five. The appetizers were already sold out, but we managed to get some meat miso and kimchi to snack on while toasting with sake. It was still incredibly delicious. We shared the grill and charcoal stove, so naturally we started chatting with the unfamiliar customers next to us or in front of us due to the close proximity. They were all regulars who loved meat and sake, so we had the regulars grill for us, and we enjoyed the perfectly cooked meat to our heart's content, making it a happy night. And the best part was the cost performance. I had forgotten the price range after not visiting for a few years, but I thought it might be in the 4000 yen range, but it was only 2600 yen per person!! "The cost performance is amazing! The sake and meat are too delicious!" All the girls were thrilled. We plan to visit more frequently from now on.

I was surprised to find this place right next to Kanda Station. It's a standing bar with a charcoal grill and the owner at the back. There's no place to put your belongings, so it's best to wear light and comfortable shoes. You can enjoy kimchi and other side dishes while grilling the meat. The quality of the meat is excellent and delicious. The owner and regular customers, including a special guest, Morita-san, will help you grill the meat. In the end, all the meat was grilled perfectly by the regular customers. Customers bring their own drinks, mostly sake. I have been to several restaurants in the Rokkakai group on Tabelog, but this was my first time at the original one. It's a great place for a quick and delicious yakiniku experience. It's recommended to use the restroom under the elevated tracks outside!

I visited this place on a Friday evening at an early hour. A friend recommended it to me after going to Goshiki Zakura, a yakiniku group in Komagome. Since Goshiki Zakura is by referral only and I couldn't go there, I decided to check out this place instead. It's a standing-style restaurant with two shichirin grills in the center. It can accommodate around 8-10 people. There's a staff member at the back of the table who serves the recommended sake of the day.
- Meat Assortment (¥1000): The restaurant uses the best cuts of meat from their group, so the quality is top-notch. The variety of meats available is great, but the portions are large, so it's best to share with others. Highly recommended.
- Various Sake (¥500 per glass?): There are three types available, allowing you to find your preferred taste while enjoying them. They may not be high-end brands, but the variety ensures you can find something you like. Just be careful not to drink too much.
The place seems to be popular among regulars, creating a lively and bustling atmosphere. Since you share the grills with others, it may not be suitable for those who are particular about that. Personally, I didn't mind and had a great time. I found this place to be quite interesting! Thank you for the meal.

Located under the elevated structure about a 10-second walk from Kanda Station, this standing yakiniku restaurant is only 2.2 tsubo in size! I had been curious about it for a while, and finally decided to visit. To be clear, I did not feel that there was any mention of infection control measures for COVID-19, so in these times and for those who are concerned, I do not recommend it. There are three main reasons for this: 1) The style of having around 10 people crowded around one table in the small shop, 2) The innovative style of sharing two shichirin grills placed on the table by everyone, 3) No tongs, using chopsticks to flip the meat and a mysterious ritual of everyone toasting when a new customer arrives. While it's true that when in Rome, do as the Romans do... it felt a bit much. Known for its "standing yakiniku" and "sake," this completely new style has been featured in various media as "super popular standing yakiniku." I had two drinks and ordered two servings of the meat platter set for less than 2000 yen per person! Very cheap... but unfortunately, you get what you pay for. Thank you for the meal! The front of the shop is always crowded, especially in the early hours. If you hang around the area for a while and come in a little later, you can easily get a seat. You can enjoy Japanese sake at a surprisingly good cost performance, setting aside the meat. Whenever you go, about half of the customers are regulars, and they are kind enough to explain any unclear systems. Honestly, whether meat and Japanese sake go well together is debatable, but this is the perfect place in the neighborhood to enjoy sake while having a fun conversation.

Rumored to be a popular restaurant, "Rokkakai" is located near the station in an extremely small property. It is always crowded, with more than 10 people even on weekdays at 6 pm. In the center of the restaurant, there are two shichirin grills that everyone shares. It is a unique system where everyone cheers together every time a new customer arrives. The atmosphere is very welcoming and comfortable. The quality of the meat is also excellent for the price. If it were closer, I would definitely visit regularly. Highly recommended.

I had been interested in the famous restaurant Rokkakai for a while! I heard they recently started serving lunch, so I decided to go for lunch, but they only open for dinner on Saturdays. However, I really wanted to eat yakiniku! So I revisited the restaurant in the evening around 5 pm. There were already four people having a great time. I ordered some sake first, and when the sake arrived, everyone cheered "Kanpai" before drinking! It was a lovely system. When the staff asked how much meat we wanted, we opted for the assorted platter. This restaurant is a standing yakiniku place, and the small space was packed with about 10 people, sharing two shichirin grills. Drinks are 400 yen each, and meat is ordered in 500 yen increments. Regular customers were ordering "akasen" or "akago," which means 1,000 yen worth of lean meat. There were about three one-liter bottles of sake available, and the 720ml bottle in the photo was brought in by a regular customer. According to them, bringing your favorite sake and enjoying it with everyone is fun. The quality of the meat was excellent, the sake was delicious, and there was a variety to choose from. The cost performance was also great. Most importantly, the atmosphere of the restaurant was fantastic. The proximity made it easy to mingle with regular customers and strike up conversations. It was truly a fun, delicious, and wonderful restaurant. I definitely want to go back again! The lean meat in the photo is deer meat. Don't let the coronavirus defeat you!

"Rokkakai" is a popular yakiniku restaurant located right next to JR Kanda Station, boasting high-quality yakiniku lunch sets for only 1000 yen. The restaurant is currently offering a special deal that includes rice, soup, kimchi, a variety of grilled meats, and even tea for this low price. Despite not knowing how long this offer will last, customers are enjoying the exceptional value and quality of the yakiniku lunch set. It seems like a generous gesture from the restaurant, providing customers with a great deal that may not last forever.

Rokkakai, which was introduced on TV as a place where you can make friends with other customers while sharing two shichirin grills, started its lunch service. I arrived at 11:00 AM, but the shutter was still closed. A staff member asked if I wanted gyudon, to which I replied that I wanted the yakiniku set. They let me in to wait inside because it was cold outside. Although lunch service starts at 11:30 AM, they were preparing for the "Let's do our best during the pandemic" campaign where gyudon was offered for 100 yen starting at 12:00 PM. Amidst the busy preparations for the gyudon, the yakiniku set for 1000 yen was served. It included fresh horumon, A5 marbled beef, lean meat, kimchi, meat and potato salad, rice, soup, and oolong tea. I grilled the meat to my liking on the grill, dipped it in sauce, and enjoyed it on top of rice. The juicy meat was incredibly delicious. After finishing the yakiniku set quickly, I lined up to get the owner's kind offer of black wagyu A5 gyudon for 100 yen. I took it back to the office, cracked a raw egg over it, added pickled ginger, and enjoyed it immensely.

Rokkakai has resumed its lunch service. The menu consists of a yakiniku set meal for 1000 yen, and it is available all day until evening. You can grill the meat yourself on the small grill in front of you, which is enjoyable. There are 5 different cuts of meat available, making it a satisfying meal. It is a pleasure to experience Rokkakai for lunch.

A standing yakiniku restaurant located right under the guard near Kanda Station. The space for customers is about the size of 4 tatami mats. In the middle, there is a large table with 2 shichirin grills, which customers share. The meat is priced at 500 yen per plate, and the assorted plate is 1000 yen, very reasonable. Sake is 500 yen, and other drinks are 400 yen. The sake selection varies, which is good for sake lovers. The yakiniku is decent, nothing special. This is more of a place to stop by for a light dinner rather than going out of your way to eat here. It seems to be a place where regular customers gather and enjoy socializing.

Enjoyed a "Yakiniku Lunch (premium)" at Rokkakai in Kanda, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. This popular standing yakiniku restaurant is just a 2-minute walk from Kanda Station on the JR Chuo Line, Yamanote Line, and Keihin-Tohoku Line. Despite the current situation, they are offering lunch from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm. During lunchtime, the owner cooks the meat on a frying pan in front of you, instead of using the traditional charcoal grill. After about 8 minutes, the Yakiniku set meal (premium) is served, including loin, kalbi, and simmered bamboo shoots, along with rice and wakame soup. The slightly rare kalbi was juicy and tender, while the loin was also tender with a good meaty texture. The sweet and savory sauce paired perfectly with the rice. I devoured the meal in no time and plan to visit again for dinner soon. For more details and photos, check out the link: [link to the blog post].

I visited a standing yakiniku restaurant. I hesitated to enter because the exterior was filled with smoke... but I decided not to judge a book by its cover and went in. The interior was small and not very clean, but it was okay! The cost performance was excellent. It seems like they mainly focus on serving sake! There were many regular customers, and it felt like a cozy, homey place.

I had heard rumors about a small space where sake enthusiasts gather at night to enjoy yakiniku. Thanks to a friend who was a regular, I was able to visit this place under the bridge. It might be intimidating to go alone, but the regulars seemed to be having a great time. They were all friendly and willing to teach me how to order and cook the meat. It seems that if you become a regular, you may even get invited to higher-end places. The quality of the meat and sake was surprisingly good for the price. Sake, instead of rice, perfectly complemented the grilled meat. It was a unique yakiniku restaurant experience.

A style where you share a grill while standing and eating at a bar with only two grills available! Honestly, this style is new to me! Hormone grill version of Luida's tavern! The first drink starts with a toast with everyone you meet for the first time! And the people you meet for the first time are friendly and easy to talk to! Truly a real Luida's tavern with encounters and laughter! Enjoying the grilled food, seeking new encounters, and being amazed by the unique offerings will leave you speechless!
