I recently visited a traditional izakaya that has been used as a filming location for a TV drama. The food was excellent, with each dish having a special touch added to it. The husband and wife who run the place have great chemistry and made the conversation enjoyable.

I used to work nearby and often visited this restaurant. It's always popular and hard to get a reservation, but we were lucky to find seats at the counter for two. It's been 4-5 years but nothing has changed at all. We had beer while enjoying sashimi, yakitori, and other small dishes, all of which were delicious and satisfying. I can't remember exactly what we ate, maybe because of the shochu shot we had at the end... The "Hanatare" bomb, which is 44% alcohol, surprised me not only with its strength but also with its deliciousness. It's so good, chilled in the freezer until it's creamy. The master and other staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great, making me appreciate the goodness of this place once again. The only thing that bothered me was the attitude of the waitress (the owner?). It's understandable to turn away walk-ins when they have reservations, but the way she handled it was terrible... I don't want to think it's because the person was a foreigner. This place is already popular among foreigners, so the service should be better. It made us uncomfortable to witness. I hope they can improve on that. Well, it would be perfect if they could make it non-smoking, but I guess that's impossible since the master smokes at the counter. Still, I love this place, and I've been drinking around here more often lately, so I'll definitely come back!

Fortunately, we were guided to a loft seat! The seared dishes, carpaccio, and other appetizers were all delicious. The customers, staff, food, and interior were all just so rock and roll. I would love to visit frequently!

Located near the Yagasaki intersection on the border of Ebisu, Daikanyama, and Naka-Meguro, this shop was described as a punk rock establishment, but I was relieved to find a bright and welcoming atmosphere inside with friendly staff. It is known for its delicious ramen, so I decided to visit for my second stop of the night. For my order, I chose a Jasmine High cocktail, Goroika, Goya Champuru, and Maru-hi Ramen. The Goroika was a standard dish, but the Goya Champuru was like an omelette with bitter melon and pork, providing a satisfying meal. As for the ramen, it was a light and seafood-based broth with pork similar to the Goya Champuru, along with egg, green onions, and seaweed, offering a hearty and flavorful experience. When I received the bill, I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices, which seemed to include tax and have no additional charges. Considering its location, this shop is a great choice for a second stop and offers a rock-inspired atmosphere for those looking to enjoy some drinks.

An izakaya located underground near the Daikanyama - Yarigasaki intersection. Used as a second bar with Mr. N! When you go down the stairs, a high-ceilinged, rock-like space appears. We ordered sashimi, avocado steak, and skewers. The avocado steak was quite delicious. After drinking quite a bit of green tea highballs, the bill was somewhat high. There was even Mick Jagger's autograph, so it's a space that rock lovers will love.

I visited this place to reunite with my old friends from my student days. Many of my friends are music lovers, and one of them was the organizer this time. As we descended the stairs to the underground restaurant and entered, I was captivated by the posters and flyers plastered all over the place. We settled into the loft seats and enjoyed drinks and food for about 2 hours. The "nikujaga" (meat and potato stew) that is said to have been eaten by Mick Jagger was especially delicious, with the flavors really soaking in. It was also fun when the staff asked us to "shout our orders" when they couldn't hear us well. In this kind of place, conversations flow easily and the drinks go down smoother than usual. I would love to visit again.

I heard rumors about a punk izakaya. Every dish is made with love and no shortcuts taken. And after 20 years, the punk manager is back! It was a fun feast.

The food was delicious. However, the price was a bit high. It's understandable since it's Daikanyama pricing.

Everything was delicious! However, the portions were quite generous. I wanted to eat more~ The draft beer here was creamy, clear, and very tasty! I want to come back again, but it seems like reservations are essential as most of the customers were reserved this time!

I have occasionally visited this place before, but this time it's been a while since my last visit. It's my second stop for the night so I didn't eat much. The restaurant is located underground, just a short walk from Ebisu, turning from Komazawa Street to the old Yamate Street. Personally, I really enjoy the music playing in the restaurant, as it reminds me of my youth when I used to listen to it a lot. I'm more into Western music, but the nostalgic feel of the music here really hits the spot for me. I had a oolong highball, shochu, along with dishes like rolled omelette, bitter melon topped with bonito flakes, and deep-fried fish cake. Everything was delicious, better than average in my opinion. I especially love the rolled omelette and always order it. The staff seems to have gotten younger, which is a bit of a change, as I quite liked the veteran staff from before. The lively atmosphere of the place is good, but I feel like if the customer service was a bit more friendly, it could become an even better drinking spot. The restaurant has always received high praise for welcoming foreign guests, so I believe it's a great place to take visitors from overseas. Apart from the customer service aspect, I personally think it's a pretty good restaurant, especially for music lovers.

The punk izakaya was amazing. The underground atmosphere was top-notch. The interior was covered in musicians' signatures, and Mick Jagger was unexpectedly there.

The atmosphere inside is like a live house, especially around the restroom area! It's recommended for music lovers. I often visit with friends who enjoy that kind of vibe.

I went out for drinks with the world-famous art director and gourmet celebrity, Gugyo Akiyama, and the incredibly lucky Getter Iida, who is known for always hitting the jackpot. We drank and drank and drank some more, but we were still going strong. Finally, we ended up at this izakaya where Getter Iida insisted, "The ramen here is amazing!" We couldn't just have ramen, so we drank some more and ate some more. The chicken broth ramen was delicious! The curly noodles were perfect for us drinkers and paired well with the soup. It was so good, but we couldn't eat anymore. Iida was on the verge of death, but Akiyama was the only one left standing, disappearing into the night streets of Daikanyama.
