I wanted to eat tsukemen in Nomiya Kanda, so I searched on Tabelog and came to this shop. I ordered the Atsuyama Tsukemen for 1360 yen. Nowadays, it's rare to find tsukemen for under 1000 yen. Tsukemen has become a luxury item. The soup is quite rich. It's delicious but a bit salty. The noodles have a firm texture which I like. The chashu is tender and tasty, but since it's pork belly, half of it is fatty so it became a bit heavy halfway through...haha. Next time, I might go for the regular one with less chashu.

The other day, before the regular beer-bring karaoke event held in Kanda, we decided to grab a bite to eat at this place that I had been curious about. They serve chilled tantan tsukemen here, and I was eager to try it out. The Musashi group allows you to increase the amount of tsukemen noodles for free up to 3.5 times, with additional charges beyond that limit. In the past, I had ordered 2.5 times the amount at a different restaurant and felt like it was less than what was stated, so this time I went for 3 times the amount. It was during lunchtime, but they didn't pre-cook the noodles and cooked them fresh upon ordering, so it took a bit of time before it was served. If you have the time, it's better to wait for freshly cooked noodles during a leisurely holiday rather than pre-cooked ones. First, the noodles. Although the noodle-making process hasn't changed, I wonder if they have been making subtle improvements. The noodles were smooth on the surface, easy to slurp, yet had a firm texture that pushed back against the teeth. A good noodle with a nice balance of slurpiness and chewiness. If only the noodles had a bit more flavor... but maybe that's just me being picky. The amount of noodles this time was generous, and I was definitely satisfied. I could have eaten more, but I was full (laughs). The dipping sauce was the typical tantan flavor as you would expect. Both the noodles and the sauce were cold, which is perfect for the hot weather. The spiciness and numbing sensation were not too strong, making it enjoyable for everyone. I was worried that with a lot of noodles, the dipping sauce might not be enough, but surprisingly, that wasn't the case (individual differences may apply). The standout ingredients were the flavorful chashu pork and the paprika. The paprika was pickled with a hint of acidity, which acted as a palate cleanser between slurps of noodles. It was recommended to eat it as is rather than dipping it in the sauce. Despite concerns about getting tired of the large portion of tantan tsukemen (increasing the amount is at your own risk), the addition of paprika made it enjoyable until the last bite.

Visited with colleagues during a weekday lunch. The soup had a sweet and sour flavor with edgy noodles and large chunks of sliced chashu. Everything was of high quality and delicious. Eating the tsukemen provided a satisfying experience. However, at 1400 yen per bowl, the cost performance is quite poor. The counter tables are low compared to the chairs, making it difficult to eat comfortably. Despite this, the taste is solid, so I would like to visit again.

In late July, around 9:30 PM on a weeknight, I went to Menya Musashi Kanzan in Kanda. The restaurant was spacious with plenty of counter seats, so I easily found a seat. I purchased a ticket for the Kanzan Tsukemen (1310 yen), which comes with a generous amount of char siu, and sat down. You can choose the amount of noodles up to 3 times, but I opted for the regular portion. Interestingly, both customers sitting next to me also chose the 3 times portion. The tsukemen arrived in about 5 minutes, with a rich seafood-based soup that was quite salty. The soup coated the noodles well and was delicious. The noodles were medium thick and straight. There was a seasoned egg on top of the noodles, which helped balance out the strong saltiness of the soup. Additionally, there were two pieces of char siu that resembled braised pork belly. They were tender and flavorful, making them perfect for eating with the noodles and soup or on their own. Although there was a pot of soup refills on the table, I decided not to drink it all as the soup was already quite salty. The Kanda area has many delicious ramen and tsukemen restaurants, making it difficult to choose where to eat. Overall, it was a tasty tsukemen experience. Thank you for the meal.

"Menya Musashi Kamiyama" is a ramen restaurant located within a 5-minute walk from Kanda Station. This place is part of the Menya Musashi chain. The highlight here is the large, tender slices of chashu that are highly recommended. They are so delicious that you'll want to keep eating them. Another great point is that you can get extra noodles for free, making it a good choice for big eaters! This is my first visit to Menya Musashi Kamiyama. After having tsukemen at Menya Musashi Iwamoto the other day, I decided to try the Kamiyama ramen to change things up. The soup with a strong seafood flavor was delicious. I wished there were tissues available while I was eating, but they were only at the entrance, so I recommend grabbing some when you first enter the restaurant.

I used it as a closing for a drinking party. Being able to choose the amount of noodles in ramen is something that women and children would be very happy about. The tsukemen had thick slices of chashu and the soup was rich and enjoyable. The spicy spices on the table were also good.

When I suddenly felt like eating tsukemen, I decided to go for lunch because the char siu looked appealing. The process was similar to other Ramen Jiro shops, where you purchase a ticket at the machine before being seated. The menu displayed images, making it easy to imagine, and this time I ordered the spicy char siu tsukemen. The char siu was indeed impressive and satisfying. However, I regretted ordering it hot. The taste itself was to my liking, and I ended up enjoying the soup at the end of the meal. Next time, I would like to try the regular tsukemen and have fun with it.

This is a famous restaurant located at the west exit of Kanda. I had the tsukemen with char siu. You can choose the amount of noodles for free, so I chose the second from the bottom, which is medium size, to be a little conscious of my diet. When I eat ramen or tsukemen, I always order white rice as a chopstick rest, but unfortunately they didn't have white rice here, and there were only rice bowl dishes available, which was a little disappointing. The tsukemen was delicious and the char siu was also tasty.

I visited the restaurant on a weekday around 3:30 PM. I ordered ramen and a flavored egg at the ticket machine. The soup was a dried fish broth, and I chose a regular size. The price remained the same regardless of the noodle portion. After ordering, I waited for about 10 minutes before my food arrived at the counter seats. There is also seating available on the second floor. Overall, it was average.

This is a tsukemen restaurant. It's just a few minutes' walk from Kanda Station, so it's close by. However, Kanda is a competitive area with various ramen shops. This place is known for its rich and large portions. You can even choose a serving size that is more than three times the regular amount, which is quite impressive. I opted for a moderate large portion. After eating, I found that even the large portion was quite filling. The flavor is on the strong side, so it was a bit challenging halfway through. If the broth was a bit lighter, it would have been better. The chashu and noodles are both hearty, making it a great choice for those who want to eat a lot! The interior of the restaurant is clean, with plenty of counter seats. Definitely recommended for lunch in Kanda!

This is my first time visiting! I really like the Ramen Yashiki series, especially Takatora in Takadanobaba and Gankotoro in Akihabara! (Seems like they like tigers.. haha) They all seem to serve pink glasses for the ladies, which is a nice touch! I ordered the rich Godzan tsukemen. This time I got the regular size, but I'm glad you can choose the amount of noodles! The soup was consistently delicious, and the thick slices of meat were tender like braised pork. However, it didn't quite have the same impact as my other favorite shops... I haven't had tsukemen in a while, so I was expecting a bigger reaction... There's a half-boiled egg on top of the noodles, but personally, I think it's fine without it. I'd prefer a boiled egg! haha In terms of cost performance, if I go again next time, I think I'll try the regular rich tsukemen.

I visited Ramenya Musashi Kamiyama, with a rating of 3.49 on Tabelog. The restaurant is located in the Kanda Nishiguchi Shotengai area, with a distinctive exterior featuring a large sign and a curtain with Mt. Fuji. The interior has counter seats and a second-floor seating area. The unique tsukemen here is a delight, with options to choose the portion size. The noodles are medium thickness and made with a high water content, giving them a fresh and light texture. The rich Kamiyama tsukemen with nori and the spicy pork rice noodles are recommended. The soup is a seafood-based broth with a strong flavor of bonito, complementing the noodles well. The toppings include thick slices of chashu pork, nori, and a half-boiled egg. The combination of noodles, dipping sauce, and chashu pork is excellent, showcasing the restaurant's high quality in a competitive area. Overall, it is a great place to dine.

Renowned ramen restaurant Menya Musashi in Kanda. The double soup with pork bone and seafood is rich and incredibly delicious. It's a classic, foolproof flavor. The chashu is thick and tender like braised pork. The noodles are firm and tasty. The way the soup and noodles blend together is excellent, showing the exceptional taste and balance.

I used this restaurant for lunch this time. What I ordered was cold tsukemen! First of all, the chunky chashu is irresistible! It's so tender, it just melts in your mouth! And the noodles have a chewy texture that goes well with the soup! The soup is not too spicy, but has a rich flavor that is also delicious! There is also paprika and other ingredients that you can add to the soup to change the taste and keep it interesting! The half-boiled egg is also incredibly delicious! This time, I ordered the "medium" size, which was just right for my stomach. Please stop by and try it out! Thank you for the meal!

I visited after 11 o'clock and there were already a few customers. By 11:20, the counter was full, indicating it's a popular place. The thick noodles have a good chewiness and go down smoothly. The large slices of chashu are soft and melt in your mouth. I would like to visit again.

After visiting a sushi restaurant and a yakitori restaurant, I felt like having some carbs for dessert. I ordered tsukemen with a warm egg topping after toasting with beer. The wheat flavor was distinct, and it paired well with the spicy and rich dipping sauce. The thick slices of char siu pork were full of meaty goodness and delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I love the ramen and tsukemen here. This time, I decided to visit to have the famous Kamiyama Ramen. When I arrived at the shop, I found out there was a limited-time menu available! So I ordered the cold tantan tsukemen from the limited menu. You can get extra noodles for free, so I got a double portion. When it was brought to me, the aroma of sesame was amazing! I dipped the noodles and slurped them up. Delicious. Not only the aroma of sesame, but also a deep richness, a rich yet not overpowering flavor. And the Kamiyama specialty chashu was reliably delicious. The large amount of noodles disappeared quickly. Thank you for the meal!
