A thunderous roar of deliciousness echoes within Tokyo Station's ticket gates. This is "Ramen Rai Tokyo Honmaru-ten," a direct-operated store of the popular ramen shop "Chuka Soba Tomita" in Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture. Since its opening in August 2020, this shop has been constantly crowded with young women lining up, and the secret of its popularity is condensed in a single bowl of ramen. This time, I tried the "Rai Soba," topped with garlic, vegetables, and seasoned egg in a regular size. The soup is made by simmering a large amount of domestically produced pork back fat and broth for 20 hours. The emulsified soup has a rich mouthfeel, but it perfectly intertwines with the special soy sauce base, avoiding any overpowering taste. As a result, with each sip, the deep umami flavor spreads and delights the palate. The thick, curly noodles are produced in-house at their factory. The chewy texture enhances the flavor of the wheat flour and creates a sensation of dancing in the mouth along with the soup. Additionally, the large pork belly chashu, fresh bean sprouts, and garlic add to the refined taste of this bowl of ramen. The "Rai Soba," considered the pinnacle of Jiro-inspired ramen, is a satisfying and exquisite dish. As a direct-operated store of the popular "Chuka Soba Tomita," "Ramen Rai Tokyo Honmaru-ten" has truly mastered the pinnacle of hearty ramen. A must-visit establishment that I definitely want to revisit. Thank you for the wonderful meal! ❤️

Arrived around 10:30 on a weekday. Entered without waiting. Ordered the soupless mini for 950 yen. Got my bowl in about 10 minutes. It had a strong junk food vibe, with various junky flavors mixed together that junk food lovers would drool over. It was more chaotic than junky. It came with a raw egg by default, which helped balance out the saltiness. Most importantly, the noodles were delicious. Thank you for the meal.

First time at this restaurant. Arrived around 1:30 pm on a weekday and there were about 10 people waiting. Waited for about 20 minutes before being seated. I was happy that I could choose between pork belly or pork shoulder for the chashu. The noodles were on the firmer side. The broth was a bit strong, but it balanced well when mixed with the vegetables. I ordered a small ramen this time, which was just the right size for lunch. I will definitely come back!

I returned to Tokyo on the Shinkansen for the 3-day weekend. Tomorrow is back to work, so I decided to recharge with some Jiro-style ramen at Ramen Kaminari's Tokyo main store. I arrived before 5 o'clock and purchased a ticket for the regular ramen (1050 yen) and extra pork fat (50 yen). When asked about the type of pork, I chose belly. After waiting in line for about 30 minutes, I finally got inside. The ramen had large slices of pork and plenty of crunchy bean sprouts. The pork fat was high quality and added a nice touch! The noodles were firm and delicious!!

Rai soba, regular size, with extra rai please! This shop is a Jiro-style restaurant operated by the "Chuka Soba Tomita" group! Located near the Marunouchi North Exit of Tokyo Station, it has a light and easy-to-eat flavor, a decent Jiro-style volume... Recommended for various people as an introduction to Jiro-style ramen!! Being part of the "Tomita" group, the meat is also delicious! Thank you for the meal (^^)

I went around 6 pm on a holiday night. The line was quite long, and I waited for over 30 minutes. You need to buy a food ticket inside the store, but the line starts a little far away from the shop so be careful. Also, you have to buy the ticket first, so if you forget and line up, you'll have to line up from the back. This time, I got the medium miso ramen. You can choose between pork belly and pork shoulder, and I chose pork belly. The miso soup may seem a bit less, so it might be better to imagine it like a rich soup in tsukemen. So the flavor may seem strong, but it's not spicy. The taste is undeniably delicious! Even with the medium portion, I finished it in no time. Thank you for the meal!

Miso Ramen (1100 yen) with extra toppings (400 yen) - The noodles were regular size at 250g, and the extra toppings included one piece of pork, two slices of fatty pork, and three quail eggs. Due to the high cost of living, the option for extra vegetables was temporarily unavailable. Who would have thought you could enjoy authentic Jiro-style ramen at Tokyo Station! The shop is operated by the famous "Tomita" ramen shop. The large slices of roasted pork were so tender that they almost fell apart when picked up with chopsticks, yet still had a great meaty texture. The fatty pork was about 80% fat, and the noodles were thick and chewy. The soup, which I chose to be miso-based, was also very rich and thick. I asked for garlic, and after finishing the meal, I realized that my breath was quite pungent (note: recommended for those who like strong flavors!). Eating dishes like this is why I gain weight...

Ramen Rai Rai Soba Mini for 950 yen. Located inside Tokyo Station, this extremely popular restaurant is affiliated with the famous tsukemen shop Tomita, so I had high expectations when I waited in line to try it. The result? It was just okay. Not bad, it was tasty. Just okay. There's no need to wait in line for it.

I had originally planned to drink coffee and eat a croissant, but the seats were full so I ended up at this restaurant. I thought it was a bit much to eat something so heavy in the morning, but I joined the others lining up in front of the shop at the same time and went inside. The Thunder Ramen was 1,000 yen, which is a good price. They asked me beforehand if I wanted garlic, and if I wanted the chashu pork to be from the shoulder or belly. Of course, I chose garlic. It's a kind of Jiro-inspired ramen, but it was very well put together and easy to eat, and I enjoyed it until the end. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at Tokyo Station's Rai-ha Ramen a little before 11am, so the line was manageable with just adding one extra slice of pork. The noodles were a bit chewy, which I understand is part of the flavor, but it wasn't really my preference. The pork, both belly and shoulder, was delicious. It wasn't worth waiting in line for, but having more Jiro-style options is always nice. Thank you for the meal.

I always wanted to try this place, so I came after work. The line seemed a bit shorter than usual, so I waited in line. I entered the shop after about 30 minutes. The system required buying a meal ticket before lining up. I told the staff my preferences when purchasing the ticket, then lined up. As soon as I sat down, the food arrived quickly. The noodles were flat and chewy. The bean sprouts were delicious, and the pork chashu was really tasty. There was a lot of minced garlic, which sank quickly and gave off a strong garlic smell (lingering until the next morning). It was a bit spicy too. Personally, I regretted adding the garlic, but it was still delicious. Thank you for the meal!

After work, there is always a long line, but when I glanced at 6:00, there were only 5 people waiting! I bought my ticket at the machine first and then got in line. I ordered the "Rai Soba" (250g) with extra fatty pork chashu, with less garlic. The noodles were firm and delicious as always. The miso broth was good, but I prefer the soy sauce broth.

Time: Around 10:30 Number of people waiting: None Ordered menu: Soupless with garlic, regular size, additional fatty meat for 1250 yen Customer service: Average Impression: Delicious, but the flavor is strong and can become boring halfway through. The fatty meat is 90% fat, so be cautious if you are prone to indigestion.

It is located near the Marunouchi North Exit inside Tokyo Station. I always noticed the long line and was curious, but never had the chance to stop by. Today, I had about an hour to spare, so I joined the queue just before lunchtime. First, I bought a meal ticket from the vending machine, then joined the line. The queue was shorter than usual, and I waited for about 20 minutes. While waiting, the meal tickets were collected, and soon after I sat down, the tsukemen was served. The staff warned me that the soup was hot, and indeed it was. The broth was rich with a strong bonito flavor, and it paired well with the thick noodles. The noodles had a firm texture and a delicious wheat flavor. I ordered it with less garlic due to work, but it was still flavorful. The highlight was the generous portion and thickness of the chashu. Although I thought it was a bit pricey, the quality of the chashu made it worth it. I was completely satisfied with the taste and portion. I may not line up for this often, but it was a delightful meal. Thank you for the feast.

I arrived at Tokyo Station a little early for my business trip and decided to visit Raizen, a place I had been curious about for a while. Despite it being before 10 am, the restaurant was quite crowded. I purchased a mini-sized ramen ticket, but the seats were full by the time I got to the front of the line. After waiting a bit, I finally found a seat. Since I had work afterwards, I opted for no garlic and chose the shoulder meat for the chashu to minimize the fat content. Even though it was a mini size, it looked like a regular portion. The soup was thick and the noodles had a nice chewy texture. The chashu had a good amount of meat and I enjoyed the flavor, but it felt a bit heavy for breakfast. I think it would be better enjoyed for lunch or dinner, so I slightly regretted my choice. I would like to revisit when I am in the best condition next time.

I wasn't feeling well and felt like I was catching a cold, so I wanted to boost my energy by visiting again. I went around 7:00 pm on a weekday and the waiting time was about 35 minutes. The wait was quite tough, but I really wanted to eat so I endured it. I ordered the usual mini thunder soba with extra fatty pork topping and a bit more vegetables. It was the most beautiful and luxurious presentation I've ever seen. I finished it all and thanks to that, my strength has recovered. If only the waiting time could be improved, I would visit more often, but it can't be helped as the location is so convenient in the station. Thank you as always for the delicious meal.

I ordered the vegetable curry and it was incredibly delicious, I finished it without any problem. I accidentally asked for extra vegetables halfway through, but they handled it politely. The service was great too. I will definitely go back.

Ramen shop inside Tokyo Station. Visited on a weekday night. Waited for about 30 minutes after buying a meal ticket. The photo is of a regular size soy sauce ramen. You can choose the amount of vegetables, spiciness of the broth, presence of garlic, and type of chashu when you hand over the meal ticket. This time, I ordered extra vegetables, garlic, and belly chashu. The soup is originally on the lighter side, allowing the soy sauce flavor to stand out. Mixing in the garlic adds an extra punch. The thick noodles have a firm texture and mix well with the soup. The chashu is juicy and flavorful. It left a lasting impression as a part of the Jiro-inspired world. I will probably remember it and want to revisit in the future. By the way, the tsukemen was a bit underwhelming, maybe I'll try the ponzu next time. Thank you for the meal.

This is my third time visiting. This time, I added shrimp mayo topping to my soupless ramen. The location inside the station is convenient, and this time I arrived around 2 pm but had to wait in line for about 15 minutes due to its popularity. The taste is, needless to say, excellent, and the interior of the restaurant is very clean, making it easy for even women to enter.

I arrived at the ticket gate around 11 am, a bit lost at first, and waited in line for about 5 minutes. They took my order before I lined up, so when my turn came, I just had to sit down. The ramen was super delicious!! The noodles were firm but not as thick as Jiro's, so easy to slurp, and the amount of vegetables and oil was just right, making it easy for even girls to finish a regular portion. The pork slices were lean and healthy. It was a bit challenging to eat quickly so as not to be left behind, but the staff were friendly and reassuring. After the hot and salty ramen, it's great to go to the nearby McDonald's for a frappe or something to cool your mouth. Highly recommended. I will definitely come back again!

Every time I come to Tokyo Station, I peek into the long line, but today there are strangely fewer people, so I decided to line up for the 30-minute wait. I had just changed my phone and the battery was in good condition, so I watched a video while waiting. Before I knew it, it was my turn. The Taihei Ramen was delicious and satisfying, with a strong impact. The initial excitement decreased after the first time, but it was still a great bowl. Would I revisit? If the wait is 30 minutes, I would consider it.
