I purchased a box of 4 pieces of lemon peel white chocolate, orange peel chocolate, pecan nut caramel, and orange peel white chocolate. The appearance and shape of the chocolates are nicely done, but the quality of the chocolate itself is not good. The peels all have a sweet aroma and feel more like jelly, lacking the bitterness and slightly chewy texture that peels should have. They seem more like "sweetened and well-cooked fruit pulp" than actual peels. Maybe I should have just bought one to try instead of buying four in bulk. Taste is subjective, but I was hoping for the true essence of peels. Unfortunately, I won't be buying these again.

A trendy chocolate shop located on Denpo-in Street in Asakusa. I had saved this place to visit a while ago and finally got the chance to go. Order: - Pecan Nut Chocolate (Cocoa) 850 yen Pecan nuts coated with bitter cocoa chocolate. - Macadamia Nut Chocolate 850 yen Macadamia nuts coated with coffee-flavored chocolate. The balance of taste and price seems good. The packaging is also nice, making it a good choice for a small gift. Notes: A shop that combines chocolate, sweets, and art. It is said to be a shop renovated from a traditional Japanese house. They had a variety of peel chocolates displayed, so it seems like they specialize in that as well.

During a stroll in Asakusa, I happened to pass by a cute shop selling various nuts, dried fruits, and chocolates. I decided to purchase some Lemon Peel Chocolate, Macadamia Nut Chocolate, and Orange White Chocolate. I bought the Lemon Peel and Macadamia Nut chocolates in bags, but could only find the Orange White Chocolate in a box, so I had to buy the box as well. The Lemon Peel Chocolate was a bit unusual, as lemon peel chocolates are not commonly seen. While all three chocolates were delicious, they lacked a strong impact. The Lemon Peel Chocolate could have been more tangy to bring out the lemon flavor. It was quite sweet, and the white chocolate coating made it even milder, resulting in a gentle taste overall. The Orange White Chocolate was tasty but not surprising, with a mild flavor. The Macadamia Nut Chocolate was also delicious but didn't have any standout qualities compared to chocolates from other shops. Although they had interesting options like prunes, I believe they should be more daring and unique. Considering the price, I don't think I would repurchase for myself, but as a gift option, the chocolates in the Asakusa-themed boxes could be a good choice. [Total Bill] Macadamia Nut Chocolate @ 880 yen Lemon Peel Chocolate @ 980 yen Orange White Chocolate @ 1150 yen Total @ 3010 yen (including tax)

I felt like eating orange peels, so I visited this shop. Among the various orange peels I have tried, this one ranks high in deliciousness. I actually prefer orange peels that are sliced into rounds, but there are not many shops that make orange peels in this shape. The orange is soft and thick, providing a firm texture and flavor. The chocolate is soft and melts easily when held, with a good melt-in-your-mouth texture. The flavor of the orange and chocolate has a nice hint of bitterness, and I quickly finished a bag. I would like to visit this shop again.

This is the final installment of the Classic Series (lol). The name of this shop was given by the first owner who loved Liszt, so I decided to feature a composer named Liszt. Located on Denboin Street in Asakusa, this chocolate and sweets specialty shop has been featured in various media outlets. It has been introduced on TV shows like Hirunandesu, Tuesday Surprise, and Ousama no Brunch, and I have also seen it in women's magazines in the past. In addition to this location, there is also a store in Kasuga, Bunkyo-ku. Despite being a chocolate shop, the signature product here is chocolate wrapped in orange peel and lemon peel, with dried fruits also available, focusing on that aspect. With a chewy gummy-like texture, it can be considered as orangette, which is quite nice. The Orange Peel Chocolate is made by carefully soaking fully ripe orange peel to retain the flavor, then coating it with high-quality Swiss chocolate and sprinkling cocoa powder on top. The bittersweet adult cocoa flavor combined with the refreshing orange aroma spreads throughout the mouth. The Lemon Peel Chocolate is made by soaking fresh lemon peel harvested in the warm climate near the Mediterranean in order to retain the flavor, then coating it with white chocolate. Since there is no cocoa in this one, the sweetness of the chocolate and the acidity of the lemon blend perfectly, making it even more refreshing. In addition, they offer Pecan Nut Chocolate, Rum Prune Chocolat, Cookie Sandwich, and Dried Fruit Pound Cake, but it seems that they no longer sell donuts that used to be available. In this shop, graphic art is also exhibited in the same space as the chocolate sales, and you can choose your favorite design for gift boxes and packaging. It may be unique and well-received. Although the price is not something you would normally spend on sweets, it is not a common product and it is really delicious. If you already like this type of treat, it's great, but even though I'm not a big fan of orangettes, I felt this way because the peel is superb, even more so than the chocolate. The chocolate coating is very thin, but the balance with the peel is outstanding. I was able to encounter a wonderful sweet treat. The taste is sophisticated and high-quality, making it ideal for gifts or souvenirs.

Today's takeout adventure took me to the area around Asakusa Station. I hopped on the front car of the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and headed towards Asakusa Station. Upon arrival, I exited through the front ticket gate and turned left, passing an old-fashioned shopping street with a yakisoba shop on my left. After a short walk, I reached exit 6. Stepping out of exit 6, I found myself on Shin-Nakamise Street. I turned left and walked until I reached Nakamise Shopping Street, which I crossed before continuing on. At the next intersection, I turned right and walked straight ahead. At the end of the road, I turned left onto Denpo-in Street, where I found the famous tempura restaurant next to the place I was visiting today: "List Asakusa Store." The entrance displayed "Orange Peel Chocolate." I remembered hearing about a special orange chocolate sold exclusively in Asakusa. Feeling curious, I entered the store around 12:40 on a weekday. Inside, a friendly female staff member explained the "Orange Peel Chocolate" and "Lemon Peel Chocolate" to me. The Orange Peel Chocolate is made by soaking ripe orange peels in high-quality Swiss milk chocolate, coating them with cocoa powder for a luxurious adult taste that enhances the rich aroma of oranges. It is best enjoyed chilled to bring out the full flavor of the orange. On the other hand, the Lemon Peel Chocolate features fresh lemon peels soaked in high-quality white chocolate, offering a luxurious adult taste with the refreshing aroma of lemons. It can also be enjoyed chilled. Intrigued, I purchased both chocolates for home consumption. Back at home, I tried both the Orange Peel Chocolate and Lemon Peel Chocolate. Starting with the Lemon Peel Chocolate at room temperature, I found the lemon fragrance pleasant but wondered about its compatibility with white chocolate. Moving on to the Orange Peel Chocolate, I was delighted by the delicious combination of orange, chocolate, and cocoa powder. After chilling both chocolates in the fridge, I found the flavors more intense, but overall, I preferred them at room temperature. The Orange Peel Chocolate, in particular, left a lasting impression, and I would love to have it again. Today, I discovered a delightful shop with delicious Orange Peel Chocolate, leaving me fully satisfied. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Because it's a chocolate shop, I wanted to write this before Valentine's Day, but White Day has already passed... After having breakfast at Royal for the second time, I decided to take a walk towards Senso-ji Temple, thinking about going for my first visit of the year. "Royal Coffee Shop Main Store" (Asakusa)☆ "Which Dish Show" hot sandwich! A cozy little shop with a stylish and delicious atmosphere that I happened to pass by. When I looked it up on Tabelog, it turned out to be a highly rated restaurant. Since it was just before Valentine's Day, I thought they might have a good selection of chocolates, so I decided to go in. The nuts and fruits inside the chocolates here are delicious! They are so tasty. The price reflects the quality, but the deliciousness makes it worth it. I bought orange peel, lemon peel, and pecan nuts, if I remember correctly. They recommended getting a larger bag for a better deal, but it was quite expensive, and I wanted to try different varieties, so I chose small portions of 3 types. Maybe because it was before Valentine's Day, some of the smaller options were sold out. The fruits inside, both orange and lemon, have intense flavors. And of course, the chocolate is delicious too. I wanted to eat the pecan nuts on their own as well. It's a bit hesitant to buy for myself due to the price, but it's great for gifts. If you love chocolate, I think it would be appreciated. It's expensive, but if I'm near the shop again, I'll be drawn in. I can imagine myself making excuses while making a purchase... I hope my ability to discover delicious shops is improving. It's nice to walk more instead of taking the train due to the coronavirus. Encounters like this make me unable to stop going for walks. Even with the coronavirus, there are still new encounters with new shops. Rankings related to List Asakusa Store: Chocolate | Asakusa Station (Tobu, Toei, Metro), Asakusa Station (Tsukuba EX), Taharamachi Station

On this day, I visited the Asakusa area. The pianist and composer who was active in various parts of Europe such as Germany and Austria. He was considered the best pianist of his time and was called the "piano magician." He could master any piece of music at first sight and was known for his extraordinary skill, leading to rumors that he must have had six fingers. He was known for his delicate yet passionate and powerful performances, often breaking strings or hammers on the piano during his performances. As a result, he sometimes had to prepare three pianos for a single performance. While he also had aspects of a composer and arranger, he was overwhelmingly praised as a pianist. Even today, many pianists use his "transcendental etudes" as practice pieces to improve their skills. *That is "Franz Liszt." Sometimes I like to include some academic content... well, what's the point of it all, you ask? Well, this is Mr. "Liszt." In Asakusa, where there are plenty of shops, there is probably the only chocolatier. It is located on Denpo-in Street. It doesn't look like a chocolatier at all. I mean, a tile roof with a purple curtain. It has a completely Japanese style. The interior of the shop has a chic atmosphere with brown as the main color... But this is Asakusa. There are many products with a Japanese-style package. Sumo wrestlers, geishas, Daruma dolls, Momotaro, and ninjas... The packages have a slightly relaxed feel. It's a high-end chocolate shop, but the prices are not too high, and small sizes are affordable. Some are sold for a few hundred yen. In terms of price, it's about the same as Leonidas. There was a genre of "donuts" in the shop, but perhaps because Valentine's Day was approaching, most of the items in the shop were chocolate. Well, I didn't plan to buy anything other than chocolate from the beginning, so no problem. Here are the things I ate: - Orange Peel Chocolate: Ripe orange peel coated with Swiss chocolate. Coated with cocoa powder, it is a sweet and slightly bitter treat. The chocolate is thin and crispy. The orange peel is the main component. The orange peel is sticky. It has a gummy-like texture. The refreshing sweetness of the fruit is delicious. It goes well with the cocoa powder chocolate with a moderate bitterness. - Pecan Nut Chocolate: Caramel pecan nuts coated with white chocolate. Sprinkled with caramel powder. A nice harmony of chocolate and caramel. It has a relatively soft texture, with a hint of caramel sweetness. The crunchy pecan nuts are light and easy to eat. A shop where you can enjoy delicious chocolate reasonably. Isn't it a nice surprise to bring chocolate as a souvenir from Asakusa? Thank you for the meal!

I couldn't help but feel drawn to this place! The shop here looks delicious. The "List Asakusa Store" has a charm that is not typical of Asakusa. I bought some cute uneven-shaped orange peel chocolates that seem like they would go well with alcohol. Perfect for souvenirs.

This is a review of a shop that my mother-in-law used to frequent in Kasuga. I happened to stumble upon this shop while walking in Asakusa and was drawn inside. I bought the Asakusa cookie sandwich for 210 yen and the Orange Peel Chocolate (bag) for 880 yen. There were different varieties of the Orange Peel Chocolate available, some in boxes and some in bags. I was worried about them breaking while carrying them, so I considered buying the boxed ones, but the bagged ones were a much better deal (lol). According to the shop staff, the bagged ones are a great value, containing slightly smaller pieces but the same quality as the boxed ones. According to the shop's website, the Orange Peel Chocolate is made by carefully marinating ripe orange peels for a long time, coating them with high-quality Swiss chocolate, and sprinkling them with cocoa powder for a luxurious adult taste. I think it lives up to what is written on the website.

The other day, my wife bought some delicious chocolates at a shop in Kasuga. There was also a famous tempura restaurant, Daikokuya, near Asakusa. There were many options, but in the end, I purchased the lemon peel chocolate that I really liked. I also bought a gift set of orange peel and lemon peel for someone who has helped me a lot. The coffee was also very delicious and went well with the chocolates. I will definitely go back to buy more.

Today is Shunno-no-Hi (Day of Pay Raise). Passed by with a friend and visited Asakusa Public Hall. Interested. Visited a few days later. Packaging was very neat. Previous customer seemed to have bought a lot of souvenirs. There were beautifully packaged items as well as items in simple plastic bags. Chocolate with nuts was delicious. The orange chocolate was incredibly tasty.

Dempoin Street has become a popular tourist street, with shops selling chocolates in white-themed interiors. The orange peel chocolate is a favorite, but I bought pecan nut chocolates for myself and as a souvenir. The balance of price and taste is good, making it a reasonable choice for a gift.
