Visited for the first time on Thursday at 6:30 PM. Made a reservation online on Wednesday at 9:05 PM. Looking forward to it as the Soupmen was delicious! Arrived at 6:12 PM with no waiting customers. People gradually started gathering outside the store. Joined the line at the end at 6:29 PM. The last customer left at 6:31 PM, and I entered the shop. Bought a meal ticket in order and sat at the counter. There are 6 seats in the shop. The shop has a good smell of oysters. The menu only includes Special Oyster Salt for 1,000 yen and Beer for 500 yen. I bought a ramen meal ticket and decided to quench my thirst while waiting, so I also purchased a Beer ticket. The owner kindly said, "I'm sorry, we don't have any snacks, so I'll make something up for you." A Heartland bottled beer and a glass along with instant snacks appeared! - Egg with rich broth - Softly sliced Chashu - Thinly sliced Menma. The first 3 bowls were served at 6:41 PM. The owner said, "Try adding some grapefruit pepper for a change of taste." The owner handles all the operations. Boiling the noodles, preparing the soup, and cutting the Chashu for serving. Served at 6:48 PM! The soup is a flavorful oyster salt soup. It seems to have oyster oil on top, and the soup is very delicious. The medium-thick curly noodles from Mikawaya Seimen are chewy. The owner asked, "How is it?" to me and the other customers who were served today. Everyone responded in unison, "It's incredibly delicious!" This matches the soup perfectly. The thinly sliced rare roast Chashu is piled up in a mountain shape, taking care not to cook all of it with the soup's temperature. The thinly sliced Menma and nori seaweed also go very well with the dish. The flavored egg is also very delicious! I tried adding grapefruit pepper for a change of taste, but personally, I prefer it as it is. Of course, I finished the soup and ate everything! Very satisfied with my 7th bowl this year, thank you for the meal! I'm sure this shop will soon be in the top 100. The owner's very polite farewell at the end. His personality makes me want to visit again soon.

I was moved by the title defense match of Japanese boxing champion Ryohei Takayama, so I visited this shop where Takayama serves as the manager. Although the shop's name may be unknown, the taste is at the level of a Japanese champion, incredibly delicious. The rich yet not fishy soup, with oyster paste melting in, becomes even richer as you enjoy it. It's incredibly delicious. The thick noodles are curly noodles. They are carefully torn by hand before boiling, and the noodles, which are given that extra touch, have a very high level of firmness and smoothness. It's a wonderful marriage that allows you to fully enjoy the taste of the soup. The chashu is soft, juicy, and has a delicate flavor, very delicious. The customer service is polite and the shop is comfortable to be in. As a ramen with a base of oysters, it is at the top level in Japan. It was a delicious ramen from a talented shop with a strong foundation of basic skills that can compete with the top 100 ramen shops! Thank you for the meal! They seem to have stopped the reservation system, but it's a popular shop so I recommend visiting with some extra time in your schedule to wait in line!

It's been a while since I visited this place since it first opened. I happened to be in Shibuya for some errands and decided to have ramen for dinner. I arrived around 8:30 PM on a weekday and there were four people ahead of me in line. The seating is limited and they take their time to prepare each bowl, so the turnover is not very fast. I waited for about 20 minutes before entering the restaurant, and it took about 10 minutes until my bowl arrived. This place specializes in Oyster Salt Ramen. They only use hand-made noodles. It's like the second branch of Nakano Mukann? I'm not sure. The main branch doesn't serve Oyster Salt Ramen often, so it was a treat to have it again. It was delicious as always. I also tried adding some grapefruit sansho pepper halfway through for a different flavor, and it was also delicious! It's a shame that Gotanda is far from my home, but I would love to visit this place more often.

After his first title defense on 9/22, there was a special oyster salt for 1000 yen and rice for 50 yen at the restaurant. Champ Takayama, who received congratulations on his first title defense, was busy with visits to sponsors and other thank you visits. His brother had surgery. There was a poster of the match inside the restaurant. Today's noodles were hand-kneaded, cooked perfectly, and had excellent harmony with the soup. The soup's flavor and richness were great. The noodles had a good texture and chewiness, and the balance of the soup's umami and flavor was excellent. The soup seemed to have a slightly different balance, with a lingering fish flavor. However, when adding grapefruit pepper halfway through, it returned to the usual perfect state. The rice had chashu and seasoned egg toppings as usual. I forgot to take a picture of the original ramen before changing the toppings with rice, so this picture shows the ramen and rice with different toppings. I poured some of the sauce for the meat bowl on the rice under the oyster soup of the ramen, with a bit of sauce on the seasoned egg and chashu. The seasoned egg was a bit cold this time. I can't help but worry that maybe they should raise the prices a bit.

I visited around 13:00 on a regular day. There were two people waiting outside the shop. I was called in by a staff member and entered. Inside, I purchased a ticket from the machine, and the only menu option was the special oyster salt ramen. The shop has a small counter with 6 seats. The noodles were hand-kneaded thick noodles, providing a satisfying chewiness. The noodles weighed 240g after boiling, offering a substantial volume. The oyster flavor was distinct and paired perfectly with the noodles. It was delicious. I will definitely come back again.

On the last day of the three-day weekend in September 2023, I wanted to have lunch at Mr. Komatsuzaki's ramen shop, but I lost in the Gunkan reservation. I arrived at the shop at 10:30 AM and there were about 15 people in line when it opened. Mr. Takayama, who manages Gunkan, is a current professional boxer and a champion with a title defense match coming up this weekend. He was at the shop before opening, practicing boxing, and looking cool. I watched him fight on TV last time. The sound of his powerful punches to the body and face still lingers in my ears. Even as an amateur, I can appreciate his greatness. Today's Gunkan had a consistent finish with the soup, ajillo, noodles, rare chashu, and flavor egg all being delicious. Recently, every time I come, I can line up without worry and enjoy a perfectly finished bowl. The strong hand kneading, the time taken to blend the soup and noodles, and the harmony of the toppings all seem calculated and well-crafted. It's a bowl of ramen that is meticulously made and well-balanced.

Visited in the afternoon on a holiday. When I arrived, there were 7 people waiting. Waited outside for 25 minutes, then went inside to purchase a meal ticket. Ordered the special oyster salt ramen for 1,000 yen. Although the rice for 50 yen seemed good, I avoided it because the main portion of noodles was 240g and quite large. The service was quick from this point on, taking less than 5 minutes. The staff was very polite and the atmosphere was nice. The taste was decent. Considering the amount of ingredients for 1,000 yen, it was good value for money. Thank you for the meal.

Special Oyster Salt Ramen 1000 Rice 50 Total 1050
A unique restaurant offering only one type of ramen and rice. A branch of Mukansan in Nakano Sakagami. It's amazing to get this volume for 1000 yen. The flavor of the oysters is incredible. The noodles are thick and there's a generous amount. The toppings are also of high quality. They suggest adding toppings to the rice and pouring the sauce on top, or that it goes well with grape and sansho pepper. The customer service is also excellent. Looking forward to the new store in Hatsudai.

[Third Visit] Arrived with two people before 2 PM on a weekday and had to wait for about 15 minutes as there were already 5 people in line. This restaurant only accepts cash payments at the counter. We ordered the following items: Special Oyster Salt Ramen for 1,000 yen, and an extra bowl of rice for 50 yen. The regular noodles cannot be upsized, but even the regular portion of 240g is quite filling! However, for an additional fee, you can upsize the limited 20 servings of thin noodles to 225g. The grapefruit sansho pepper on the table pairs well with the oysters, so make sure to try it out. As for the rice, we topped it with the roasted pork from the ramen and drizzled the sauce provided on the table for a luxurious meal. The restaurant's operating hours may vary day by day, so be sure to check their Twitter for updates! The staff at the restaurant are always welcoming and the atmosphere is lovely. Once again, we left the restaurant completely satisfied. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Long-awaited hit for me! The rich oyster soup with chewy medium-thick curly noodles is amazing. The low-temperature cooked chashu is excellent, and the seaweed matches the soup perfectly. The only downside is that the height of the table and chairs is mismatched, making it a bit difficult to eat, but I definitely want to come back to this restaurant.

I visited the second branch of Mukann in Nakano, which I had been curious about for a while. I arrived at 5:50 pm, 10 minutes before opening, and there were no other customers. I purchased the special salt ramen for 1,000 yen from the ticket machine and was asked to take a seat. It took about 8 minutes for the ramen to be served. The presentation was meticulous, with two large slices of pork, a half boiled egg, bamboo shoots, chopped green onions, oyster paste, and seaweed neatly arranged on top. The broth had a hint of oyster flavor and saltiness, which added a nice accent to the overall taste. The base of the soup seemed to be a combination of chicken and oyster flavors, creating a harmonious blend with the saltiness. The noodles were thick and had a good chewiness, complementing the soup well. The portion size was generous, providing a satisfying meal. The staff were very polite and attentive. Overall, I was impressed with how they managed to create a ramen with a subtle oyster flavor while keeping any overpowering taste in check. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I visited the sister restaurant of Nakano-Sakaue's "Mukan," a famous ramen shop in Tokyo's top 100 ramen list, called "Chuka Soba Mukura" in Gotanda for the first time. Unlike the Nakano-Sakaue location, this one doesn't require reservations, and when I went on a weekday evening at 7 pm, I was the first person in line outside. The menu is simple with the "Special Oyster Salt Ramen for 1,000 yen" along with rice and beer. The noodles were 240g before boiling, which is quite a lot, but the staff asked if I wanted a smaller portion, and I opted for the regular size. The restaurant smelled strongly of seafood broth. When the oyster ramen arrived, it had a unique appearance with toppings like dried seaweed and oyster paste, but it looked beautiful and generous for the price of 1,000 yen. The oyster broth was rich in flavor, but not creamy, making it surprisingly easy to eat and slightly western in taste. The handmade medium-thick noodles were delicious on their own and paired well with the soup. As I ate, the noodles absorbed the soup, creating a harmonious blend. The oyster paste added an intense oyster flavor when dissolved in the soup. I particularly enjoyed the dried seaweed topping, which enhanced the overall taste of the soup. Towards the end, I found myself getting a bit full, so I recommend opting for less noodles if you want a lighter post-meal feeling. Overall, despite my initial hesitation about oyster ramen, I thoroughly enjoyed it and appreciated my friend inviting me. Thank you for the meal!

I was taken aback by the intense flavor of the oysters right from the first bite. They paired well with the noodles, and although I initially thought the broth was a bit strong, adding a hint of grapefruit yuzu pepper really tied it all together, allowing me to savor every last drop. I usually order extra-large portions at other ramen shops, but even a regular size was satisfying with this bowl.

On Saturday, about 15 minutes before the store opened, there were about 10 people lined up. There are only 6 seats inside, so I had to wait for the second round. The oyster soup had a rich flavor and was very delicious. The noodles were flat and chewy, just the way I like them. I finished it in no time. Don't forget to order the DIY chashu rice bowl, it's a must! Thank you for the meal.

・Went to the restaurant without prior information
・The real deal starts after dissolving oyster paste in the soup
・I wonder if they can reduce the amount of noodles...it was a bit too much
・The addition of sansho pepper is a nice touch
・The restaurant only has counter seats and is small, so it may be difficult to go with large luggage

Nakano Sakagami's popular restaurant Mukann's second branch, which is now completely reservation-based. Got the chance to visit Gotanda location after they removed the reservation requirement. The soup was light yet packed with the rich umami flavor of oysters, a high-quality dish. Mixing in the oyster paste boosted the oyster flavor. The default noodles were medium thickness, but they also offered a limited option of extra-thin noodles (225g) this time, which I ordered. The flavor of the dried seaweed was great, and the seasoned egg and rare chashu were delicious. When I added the grapefruit pepper on the table for flavor enhancement, the dish became even more delicious. I finished every last bit, it was really tasty.

Today I had lunch at Mukura in Gotanda. I purchased the following from the ticket machine:
- Special Oyster Salt Ramen for 1000 yen
The soup had a rich oyster flavor. Although it had a slight smell, the strong garlic in the oyster ajillo covered it up. I chose thin noodles, which were chewy and had a rich wheat aroma. The rare and thin chashu was delicious, and there was plenty of nori. Thank you for the meal.
Delicious!!! I recently hadn't come across a ramen that left me so impressed, but this was a hit. The soup was rich with oyster flavor, making it a truly satisfying bowl. Adding grapefruit sansho pepper allowed for a delightful flavor change as well. It was also delicious. I think the limited edition thin noodles would be a better match than the thick curly noodles, so I'd like to try them next time.

This is my first visit to Tokusei Kaki Shio Gotanda. The umami of the oyster soup is exceptional. As you dissolve the accompanying oyster paste while eating, the flavor becomes even richer. The curly medium noodles scoop up the superb soup nicely, although the portion was quite generous, I finished it all. The rare chashu was a decent size and very satisfying. The grapefruit sansho is a great flavor-changing item, so be sure to use it!

Without a doubt, this is the most delicious oyster ramen I have ever eaten. The carefully prepared oyster paste seeps into the soup as you eat, enhancing the flavor with each bite. The thick noodles elevate the dish, along with the melt-in-your-mouth chashu. The owner expresses gratitude to each satisfied customer as they finish their bowl. I definitely want to go back again.
