The weather was sunny from the morning, making me feel like it's summer! The temperature in the morning reached around 25°C, still chilly for early March. When I had lunch at Ginza Rokusantei in early March, I found a pair of margaret pumps on the 1st floor. It seems like the perfect weather for wearing them! Beatrice doesn't chew on shoes, so it's safe to leave them out. However, Angelina has chewed on the heel straps and metal fittings of summer sandals and ribbons in more than ten places, making them impossible to repair. When Golden Rachel turned one year old, she chewed on all the furniture in the house, which were all made of rattan at the time, leaving teeth marks everywhere. I was at a loss and couldn't bring myself to clean up immediately, so I had to give up and take photos of the damage and the crime scene, storing them in a photo album. Beatrice doesn't chew on shoes and her stuffed duck lasts a hundred times longer than Angelina's. On a Saturday afternoon, the terrace was full at T-Site, including Ivy Place, Starbucks, and the terrace at the side of Ashiya Bookstore. I stood there in confusion for a while until a person stood up from a large table, making room for two. I sat at the large table for the first time. The next challenge was the long line for ordering, with a wait of at least 15 minutes on a day like today. People were ordering for one or two people, which made the line even longer after ordering. But one impressive thing was the real-time updates during drink preparation. "We are currently making a Strawberry Frappuccino," or "The Japanese brown sugar roasted tea latte is ready," etc. The staff repeating the drink names to the customers waiting naturally imprinted the names in my mind, making the promotion a great success. I usually order a cafe latte, but sometimes I think about trying something different, like a Yuzu & Citrus Lavender Sage Tea Frappuccino. After going back to give water to Beatrice, I hoped the line would be shorter, but the real-time updates were still audible as I got back in line, waiting a few more minutes. The impact of the announcement was almost non-existent. The Earth-friendly straws for Frappuccinos are clearly too big for a size small, but if you're drinking at the table, you can do without a straw. Beatrice unusually drank all her water and happily played with her same-age friend, Marques, who was sitting next to us.
