Tokyo Tarako Spaghetti. There's always a long line, right? I couldn't get in on weekends, so I decided to try my luck on a late weekday night, just before closing time at 9:40 pm. Surprisingly, there were only 2 people ahead of me in line. More customers kept coming in afterwards. I wasn't sure about the menu, but I went with their recommended Konbu broth spaghetti (980 yen before tax). After a 10-minute wait, the dish arrived and it was delicious. The noodles were chewy and flavorful even without the broth. When I poured the broth over the noodles, it became even more delicious. The green onions, sesame seeds, and pickled ginger added a refreshing touch. Whoever came up with this recipe is a genius. This place is operated by Food Company, the same company behind Katsuya. Good food is good food, no matter the brand. Thank you for the meal!

I visited before 2 pm, but there was still a long line outside! The store has two floors, and it is spacious, but constantly crowded with female customers. Just seeing the indescribably beautiful pink tarako gets me excited!

The mentaiko pasta was delicious on its own, but it was also nice to change the flavor with the broth. I think it's a chain restaurant, but I was surprised by the high quality. It's understandable why it's crowded even around 4 pm.

After enduring a heavy rainstorm in Shibuya's Jinnan area, I made my way to JR Shibuya Station around 5 pm. The rain had stopped and I didn't need my umbrella as I walked up the slope of Park Street towards the station. I had been aiming for the curry tsukemen at "Karasoba" but when I reached the Miyamasuzaka exit of JR Shibuya Station, I spotted a sign for this restaurant beyond Miyamasuzaka. I was drawn in and ended up ordering the dashi spaghetti from the menu. It's a spaghetti place with a Japanese twist. Shortly, a tray with the dish was brought to me. The presentation was charming and seemed popular among female customers. I tried the dish first without pouring the dashi broth over it, and it was delicious. The instructions suggested adding the broth to your liking, so I followed that. Breaking up the tarako with my chopsticks, I mixed it with the spaghetti. The chewy texture of the flying fish roe added a nice touch. After finishing the spaghetti, I enjoyed the remaining sauce combined with the dashi broth. The chopped shiso leaves gave a refreshing taste. Overall, it was a tasty Japanese-style spaghetti dish. Thank you for the meal.

I visited for lunch on a regular day. There is usually a long line, but when I went around 12 o'clock, I only had to wait for about 10 minutes and got in smoothly. It seems like everyone orders dishes that come with dashi broth. I chose the tororo pasta! There was a lot of tororo in it, but unfortunately I couldn't fully appreciate its goodness. The large leaf was a nice accent though. Next time, I want to try something with dashi broth.

Visited for dinner on a regular day. The restaurant is located just up from Shibuya Station on Miyamasuzaka, on the left side next to a bright neon-lit showroom of a certain real estate developer. I had known about the restaurant's existence for a while, as there would sometimes be a line forming outside. However, on this rainy day, there was no line, so I decided to check it out. The interior had a relaxed atmosphere, and I was seated at the spacious counter on the first floor. The menu mainly featured pasta dishes with tarako (cod roe) and mentaiko (spicy cod roe). I ordered the "Mentaiko Spaghetti with Shio-Kara" and opted for a large portion of noodles. The dish arrived with pickles and the staff recommended squeezing lemon over the spaghetti. The mentaiko was delicious, and the combination with shio-kara was surprisingly good. Squeezing lemon over it added a mild flavor. Overall, the restaurant seemed to cater to female customers with its menu, but the flavors were quite satisfying. I would consider revisiting to try their pasta with dashi broth.

"I finally got to visit a restaurant that I always wanted to go to but couldn't because it's always crowded! I met with tarako spaghetti and it was delicious with its chewy texture. As I continued eating, I tried the broth on its own and it was also delicious. 'Delicious x delicious' is definitely delicious, so I poured the broth over the spaghetti. 'Ah, so delicious...!' I would love to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal!"

I visited a restaurant that I had been curious about for a while. I arrived around 12:15 noon and there were 10 people in line ahead of me, but I was seated in about 20 minutes. The menu had so many delicious options that I had a hard time deciding, but this time I ordered... - Cold dashi tarako spaghetti - Kama-age shirasu and ikura tarako spaghetti - Topping of fresh mentaiko - Ginger rice The noodles were chewy and had just the right amount of saltiness, so I didn't get tired of eating until the end. And when I put the leftover ingredients on the ginger rice and poured the dashi from the cold tarako spaghetti over it, it was even more delicious! I want to try other menu items, so this restaurant is definitely a must-visit again.

After grilling, this dashi pasta for 990 yen was really delicious and worth the price in Tokyo. The cleanliness and stylish atmosphere of the restaurant were impressive. It's always nice to see clean restrooms. It might be easier to get in without waiting on weekday nights.

I always wanted to try this restaurant because there is always a long line outside. However, my expectations may have been too high. While the toppings and extras are noteworthy, the tarako spaghetti was not particularly delicious. What's more, the staff's attitude was poor, creating a tense atmosphere as if you were being scolded.

It was hot and I was too tired, so I decided to visit this restaurant that I had been curious about for a while. There were about 5 people waiting, but I was seated quite quickly. The chewy noodles with tarako sauce were delicious and paired well with the broth. The condiments were also good. Some people might find it not filling enough, so I recommend ordering extra noodles. I was very satisfied because I wanted to eat tarako spaghetti. As mentioned in many reviews, the staff somehow seemed a bit intimidating, and in reality, they didn't give off a friendly vibe (the cashier didn't smile at all and seemed like a former host). I was served by a foreign staff member who answered my questions politely. If I ever crave tarako spaghetti again, I would like to visit this place.

First visit to Tokyo Tarako Spaghetti. I prefer mentaiko over tarako, so I tried the spaghetti with mentaiko broth. Even without the broth, it was rich and delicious, but adding the broth and eating it like ochazuke gave it a new texture. Highly recommended for when you're hungry in Shibuya Miyamasuzaka. There's also a shop in Jingumae. #TarakoPasta #TokyoTarakoSpaghetti #ShibuyaGourmet #MentaikoPasta

Visit date: 08/16/2023 Order: Tarako and soy milk carbonara for 1199 yen [Comment] This restaurant has been featured in various media outlets. I have been curious about it for a while and finally had the opportunity to visit. There is usually a line during lunchtime, but this time I was lucky to visit almost right after they opened. It was my long-awaited first visit. The weather has been hot lately. I managed to snag one of the three available seats, and within 10 minutes, a line started forming. I noticed that there were many female customers. I selected a bottle of beer and the tarako and soy milk carbonara. It was a pleasant surprise to see a high-quality brand of beer available. I sipped on my drink and soon the food was served. The visual presentation exceeded my expectations. It looked delicious. The soup was plentiful, almost like ramen with pasta. The staff warned me that it was hot, which I actually enjoy. However, when I took the first bite, it was not hot at all. It was disappointing as it was lukewarm throughout. Nonetheless, the taste was undeniably delicious. With the addition of condiments on the table, you could customize the flavor to your liking. Despite the temperature issue, I still enjoyed the meal. I would like to revisit to confirm the temperature next time. It was a tasty experience. Thank you for the meal.

The spaghetti was not the usual kind, but had a unique texture that conveyed a feeling of spaghetti. The chewy noodles were evenly coated with tarako, which had a mild and slightly salty taste. The broth had a hint of sweetness and saltiness, making the tarako spaghetti delicious even on its own. However, when the broth was poured over, it felt slightly salty. This was the most disappointing part, as the pickles were also a bit too salty, leaving a lingering salty taste in the mouth.

On this day, there was hardly any line due to the rain. I had the 4 kinds of tarako spaghetti. There were various flavors of tarako such as seared tarako, tarako with kelp, and plain tarako. I thought there was a bit too much tarako in terms of quantity. When ordering this menu, it seems like it would be better to also add some rice.

Every time I passed by, there was always a long line, so I was curious and finally got to visit. I ordered the seared spaghetti with this dashi broth for the first time. The photo is without shiso leaves, which I ordered. The combination with the broth was great, and it was a comforting Japanese-style dish.

It was always crowded and I hadn't been able to use it, but luckily there were few customers this time so I was able to use it with a short wait. The tarako spaghetti I was looking forward to was delicious. I ordered the creamy type, and my companion ordered the broth type. I took a bite of the broth type and it was more delicious.

This pasta restaurant is unique in that they serve pasta with broth poured over it. I always saw a long line outside, so I hesitated to go in. However, after 8 PM, it was a bit calmer and I only had to wait about 10 minutes to get in. The first floor has a counter, making it easy for solo diners. I think the flavor, with mentaiko (spicy cod roe) and condiments, would appeal to those who like those ingredients.

Tokyo Tarako Spaghetti, which opened in the midst of the pandemic and always had long lines, was less crowded on this day so I decided to visit for the first time. I ordered the Seared Tarako Dashi Spaghetti (1089 yen), Spaghetti Set Meal (275 yen), and Ikura topping (275 yen). The spaghetti was generously topped with tarako, flying fish roe, and ikura, and was refreshing with the addition of green onions and myoga. The broth was served separately, so it can also be enjoyed like a soup spaghetti. I didn't use any condiments this time, but I would like to try them next time. The noodles were chewy and surprisingly delicious. The set meal allows you to choose between ginger rice or salad, and comes with today's side dish. The rice went well with the tarako too.

I arrived before 7:00 PM on a regular day and was seated at the counter on the second floor after waiting for about 10 minutes with 4 other groups. I ordered the seared mentaiko spaghetti set. The salad portion was surprisingly large, packed with watercress and red core radish, which was nice. The set meal came with side dishes of simmered cut kelp and soy sauce-pickled daikon, both well-seasoned, making them a good match for drinking alcohol. The pasta had chewy noodles coated with rich mentaiko, perfect for when you're craving tarako. The garnishes included myoga, green onions, shiso leaves, dried rose petals, sesame seeds, and flying fish roe, adding great texture and flavor. However, without the broth, it was quite salty due to the generous use of mentaiko. The broth had a subtle hint of ginger and was delicious, so I recommend adding plenty of it halfway through to enjoy.

I visited this restaurant specializing in mentaiko spaghetti that I had been curious about for a while. There were many female customers in the stylish interior. It was nice, but I felt that the portion was a little small and unsatisfying.
