Today was a hot day, and I had been getting tired of buying the same lunch from Seven-Eleven recently, so I wanted to eat something that would provide me with enough calories. I decided to go to Miura's Hamburger, forgetting about the lunch plans I had made with my friends. Miura's Hamburger is known for its delicious food and great lunch deals. Everyone wants to make use of their lunch hour, right? The restaurant gets crowded from 12:00 to 13:00, so you might want to avoid long lines if you need to be back by 13:00. The entrance is small and a bit dirty, located near the Seibashi exit of Ochanomizu station, next to Tenjin Ramen. You climb the stairs to the second floor from this entrance. Despite the initial appearance, the inside of the restaurant is clean, with alcohol disinfection and dividers in place. If it's not too busy, the wait time is around 10 minutes. Upon entering, you purchase the 600 yen lunch set from the ticket machine (it used to be 500 yen not too long ago). Once a seat is available, you wait for the alcohol disinfection and then you are escorted to your table. You hand over your lunch ticket and choose the sauce for your hamburger. There are 9 sauce options to choose from. Today, I chose the Roast Garlic Soy Sauce and the Japanese-style grated radish sauce. You can opt for a large portion of rice, but I chose a smaller portion. After waiting for about 10 minutes, the miso soup was served, followed by the rice and the hamburger on a hot plate. The side dishes included fried potatoes and corn, which were plentiful. The hamburger was juicy and tender, with a delicious flavor from the Roast Garlic Soy Sauce. The potatoes and corn were also tasty. After finishing the meal in about 10 minutes, I headed back. The whole experience took about 10 minutes of waiting, 10 minutes of serving, 10 minutes of eating, and 10 minutes of going back and forth. My wallet, stomach, and taste buds were all satisfied. In addition to the 600 yen lunch set, there are various other menu options available.
