YKK Group, known for zippers in "clothing" and building materials in "housing," also entered the food industry in 1985 by establishing YKK Farm & Livestock Company to start coffee cultivation. The cafe has 12 tables with white tops facing Showa Street. In addition to coffee, they also offer bread and cakes. I tried the Kabocha-kun (pumpkin bun) for 130 yen, Cheese Cream bun for 130 yen, and an iced coffee for 300 yen. The Cheese Cream bun had plenty of white sesame seeds, a soft texture, a hint of saltiness, and was not overly sweet. The Kabocha-kun was a pumpkin version of an anpan, with a pumpkin seed on top. The bread was from "Sanwa Laurent," a professional bread wholesaler in Hirai. The iced coffee came with a Lotus Biscoff cookie.
