I often use this store because it's close by. Compared to the nearby 7-Eleven or Family Mart, the staff here are quick to call for backup at the register even if there's only one person in line. The employees are always busy, whether it's cleaning or restocking shelves, and they never look bored just standing around. The soft serve ice cream and hot snacks are still delicious, and having an eat-in area at Mini Stop is really nice. However, sometimes there seems to be a shortage of staff, so you might have to wait at the register. Overall, I will continue to use this store in the future.

I purchased Belgian chocolate soft serve and Belgian chocolate mixed soft serve vanilla for 198 yen each with WAON. I tried both flavors in a cup and here are my thoughts. The vanilla flavor seemed different or maybe less in volume, but it might have been just a one-time thing. The Belgian chocolate flavor was rich and satisfying. I would prefer to have only Belgian chocolate soft serve next time. My husband and child had the cone, and they mentioned that it was filled to the bottom with soft serve.

In front of Shiomomi Station on the JR Keiyo Line, there is a "Mini Stop". Next to it is "Origin Bento", and across the street are the supermarket "Maruetsu" and an area with a vibe similar to Aeon. Although it is not a station with a high number of passengers (around 10,000 per day), the supermarket is open until the last train, and of course, there are also 24-hour bento options available, making it a convenient residential area. The eat-in space here is closed after the last train of the Keiyo Line until the first train in the morning under the pretext of inspecting delivery items, so even if you miss the last train, you cannot stay there. Recently, I have been using Yodobashi Electric Techland for home appliances. This place has seen a lot of turnover, but it seems to have finally settled down. They are still exploring changes in operating hours, but I hope they do well. On my way back from Yodobashi, I stopped by this "Mini Stop" and had a coffee while reading the catalog I picked up. This time, I tried two hot snacks along with a hot coffee. One was Crispy Chicken, a small fried chicken with a crispy tea rice cracker-like coating. It has a savory saltiness with a fragrant rice cracker-like taste, making it quite tasty. This would be great as a beer snack. The other was Bali Chibi Octopus, a small octopus-shaped snack with wings resembling Saturn's rings. The name "Bali" is not a great choice as it refers to something that is shaved off before being processed, but the snack does contain octopus and tastes good. Both were priced at 198 yen. The hot snack corner at "Mini Stop" offers a fun experience not found at Aeon.
