I found this restaurant while taking a detour. I visited after 9 pm. It's a small restaurant with a few seats at the counter and only one table, but even at this late hour, it was lively and almost full. I ordered horse meat tartare, tripe stew, focaccia, and lamb chops. The staff recommended pairing the tripe with focaccia, and it was a great combination! The lamb chops were cooked just right and tasted delicious. The regular customers were chatting happily with the staff, creating a cozy atmosphere. I unexpectedly found a great restaurant. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I want to explore places where I can easily and quickly grab a bite to eat in Ebisu since I've almost tried all the ramen places. Today, I decided to try this newly opened Italian bar. I ordered the bolognese pasta and enjoyed some flounder carpaccio and duck ham as appetizers while waiting. The bolognese pasta arrived, topped with Parmesan cheese. The tender wagyu beef and fresh pasta were well combined. Personally, I wish there was more meat even if it meant a higher price. However, I appreciate the quick service and the fact that I could enjoy delicious pasta at this price point. I still have room for more, but it was a tasty pasta dish. Thank you for the meal.

This was my first visit at night, but it was a calm and relaxed bar. There were many women, and it was mostly full with groups of women. We enjoyed our meal while watching the master cook efficiently at the counter. The favorite dish of my companion was the omelette with leeks and pancetta! It was fluffy and the combination with leeks and pancetta was very delicious! The aquapazza had too many bones, which was a bit disappointing. The meat, both venison and beef, were lean and tender, and very tasty. We enjoyed our drinks and snacks, surrounded by stylish women, but we opted for pasta and had a satisfying dinner. Thank you for the meal!

Pork and mushroom ginger peperoncino for ¥900. It's an Italian bar, but I wonder if there are tables in the back? It seems like there might be terrace seating in front of the store. They offer a salad appetizer for lunch, and you can finish with your favorite pasta while enjoying a beer. I ordered the peperoncino, but later realized it was made with ginger instead of garlic. The ginger adds a slight spiciness, but it's balanced out by the sweetness of the pork fat. Also, the fresh pasta is delicious.

An Italian restaurant inside Ebisu Shrine. It's a small place with only a counter and small tables. Lunch on weekdays is a better deal than weekends, but I really wanted to eat here today. I had the Black Wagyu Bolognese for 1800 yen. It comes with salad and a drink. It's not like regular meat sauce pasta, it's more like tender beef and cheese, so you can really taste the sweetness of the Black Wagyu. It's hard to find this kind of dish at other places. I'm in heaven. I definitely want to come back for some meat dishes at night next time.

I went to Baru Comodo in Tokyo Ebisu for pasta lunch. They offer 7 types of pasta to choose from, and I had a hard time deciding. I chose the daily special squid and tarako spaghetti in large size, while my companion had the Bolognese in large size. Despite being large, the portions felt a bit small, and the squid was a bit lacking in flavor. The Bolognese, on the other hand, had a unique taste with the use of oily ground meat. Thank you for the meal.

I often visit this restaurant for lunch, and my go-to dish is the oil soba, even though the lunch menu is mainly pasta. In addition to the original oil soba, they have introduced a Sichuan-style oil soba with a strong flavor of sansho pepper. It has a completely different taste and is delicious. If you don't mix it well, you'll start sweating from the pepper in the second half, but it's hot every day and I sweat anyway, so oh well. Just be aware that you might end up sweating a bit embarrassingly. I'm about to reach the end of the stamp rally without ever trying the pasta. I'll try it someday (laughs). *It seems that you can collect stamps each time you visit, and with 10 stamps, you can get a free dish.

A cozy Italian bar with a focus on counter service. Ordered recommended dishes listed on the blackboard. The sashimi platter had a variety of 4 types of fresh fish, with the red shrimp being particularly delicious. The grilled meat dishes, lamb chops and Ezo deer, were flavorful, tender, and juicy. They paired well with red wine. The round focaccia bread was fluffy. The scallop and orange with roasted Karasumi, and the corn and sausage spaghetti were all very delicious! We also ordered a bottle of GAV I and Shiraz wine.

In a quiet back alley in Ebisu, we found a bar. We chose the lunch menu, "Japanese-style pasta with small squid and Chinese cabbage," with a salad set (my companion had shrimp and green onion arrabbiata). The pasta had a nice kick from yuzu pepper, but it didn't really have a "Japanese-style" taste, as the seasoning was a bit light. I tried a bit of my companion's arrabbiata, and it was similar. However, the staff were friendly, and the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant gave off a hidden gem bar vibe.

This is a restaurant I always rely on for lunch. Even though it's a pasta restaurant, I always order the abura soba (oil noodles) there (laughs). I don't usually eat abura soba, but it's so delicious that I always want to eat it. I'm not sure if it's pasta noodles, but the unique chewy noodles create a very pleasant texture and mix well with the abura soba toppings and sauce. I always order it in a large portion.

Pasta lunch for around 2000 yen per person. The Bongole Rosso was made with fresh pasta and had a lot of ingredients, it was delicious. The clams were large! The seating is only at the counter, with tall chairs like a bar counter, so for someone like me who is 171 cm tall and not used to sitting on such chairs, it was a bit uncomfortable. The dishes are prepared right in front of you, so there is a sizzle to it, and I think it would be fine for a second stop even if you only stay for an hour.

Located in Ebisu, the Spanish-Italian bar "Baru Comodo" stands quietly as a hidden gem just beyond Ebisu Shrine. "Comodo" in Spanish means "comfortable." The owner's desire is for guests to enjoy delicious ingredients in a simple way. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, this bar is already a "long-standing establishment" in Ebisu. The owner, a graduate of Global Dining, values the selection of fine wines, sangria, and beer as a certified sommelier. The sister store, Cafeteria S Omotesando, is a chic cafe with sparkling chandeliers. During the pandemic, when most places were closed, I visited during lunchtime and was impressed by the delicious food. The lunch menu offers a variety of fresh pasta dishes such as "Clam Genovese-style Cream Pasta," "Black Wagyu Bolognese," "Small Shrimp and Yuzu Pepper Arrabbiata," "Black Truffle and Mushroom Cheese Butter Sauce," and "Snow Crab and Scallion Tomato Cream Sauce," served with salad and a drink. In the evening, the menu features game meat and charcoal-grilled dishes, offering a different experience from lunch. I ordered the "Homemade Salsiccia Cacio e Pepe" and enjoyed the crispy salad with vinaigrette dressing and the chewy pasta with spicy sausage. The friendly chef and staff made the experience even better. I look forward to returning for lunch to enjoy more of their delicious pasta dishes.

Located a 7-8 minute walk from Ebisu Station, on a back alley behind Ebisu Shrine, is "BaruComodo." This Spanish-Italian restaurant celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2022. The restaurant has about 10 counter seats and a small table. During the warmer seasons, you can also enjoy the terrace seats by the entrance. The menu is filled with delicious-sounding dishes listed on a blackboard. On this day, I visited for lunch and opted for the pasta set with an additional 300 yen for a "salad & appetizer set." However, the salad was quite disappointing, with only a few leaves placed on the plate. I wish it was more like the "Kanaya Spaghetti" soup and salad set for 350 yen. Nevertheless, the pasta was delicious, especially the recommended pasta of the day with squid and mushroom mentaiko cream sauce. The noodles were particularly tasty, and I regretted not upgrading to a large portion for an extra 100 yen. My companion had the "Domestic Pork Minced Meat and Mushroom Ginger Aglio Olio," which also had chunks of meat that did not fully blend into the sauce, similar to the mentaiko. The noodles were good, but overall, the lunch left something to be desired. Perhaps skipping the "salad & appetizer set" and opting for a large noodle portion for a flat fee of 1000 yen would have made for a more satisfying meal, similar to the experience at "PortoBello" in Ebisu.

I usually prefer eating at run-down snack bars or old-fashioned diners for lunch, but this time I was dining with a kind lady who expressed a preference for Italian cuisine. I couldn't help but wonder why women tend to choose Italian or pasta dishes when eating out. Don't they ever crave home-cooked meals made with love by their mothers? Despite my musings, I stumbled upon a promising restaurant and decided to give it a try. The place had a stylish yet inconspicuous vibe, with only counter seating available. It wasn't very crowded, mostly frequented by regulars. The pasta dishes were around 1000 yen and tasted delicious for the price. Additionally, they offered tapas-style options to complement the meal. I appreciated the variety of flavors, types of dishes, and reasonable prices. I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for stronger drinks, but overall, I was satisfied with my dining experience.

I visited Baru Comodo in Ebisu as a second stop on a whim. The atmosphere was very stylish and the wine was great value for money. The bruschetta for the appetizer was delicious! The freshly sliced prosciutto in front of us, as well as the pasta where you can choose the type of noodles, were both fun and delicious! Next time, I want to try the meat dishes! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Bar is definitely more suited for the nighttime atmosphere, but it's hard to resist the good value of their lunch menu, so I came to eat pasta. I sat at the small counter. It's not a relaxed setting, but it has a cozy feeling of a standalone house. First, I had the vegetable dish. It was a light set with a focus on vegetables. Simple. Then the Bolognese pasta. It wasn't the red one I had imagined. It was white. It had a good amount of saltiness, and the chunks of meat gave it a manly pasta vibe (the chef was a man). They seemed quite busy preparing for Uber-like delivery orders, but I still think pasta tastes better when it's fresh from the kitchen. Thank you for the meal.

My husband handled everything on his own. We made a reservation for four people, but the amount of food that came out was double what we expected! They used plenty of delicious vegetables, making it very healthy! Each dish was so tasty that we finished them in no time. I can't believe there's a hidden gem like this in such a remote area! I definitely want to use it again.

A counter-style restaurant located in a hidden alley near Ebisu Station West Exit. The dimly lit and atmospheric interior, along with delicious food, left me very satisfied. They have a wide variety of alcohol, with a particularly extensive selection of wines. The quality was so good that it would be a waste to use it for a second party - it's a perfect choice for a date.

I had a pasta lunch. It was delicious. But the meat dishes looked also delicious, so I want to try the regular menu next time. Even though it was counter seating only, the atmosphere was nice and cozy. I want to go again!

Met up with old friends for the first time in a while and went to a restaurant in Ebisu that I had been curious about for a long time! Barcomodo. Surprisingly, this is a longstanding bar that has been in Ebisu for 10 years, despite the fierce competition in the area. It was so good that I have to recommend it! [Recommended Points] - Lots of glass wines! (Also lots of beers and cocktails!) - Delicious food even though it's a bar - Perfect balance at the counter The restaurant mainly has a counter. The cute Spanish-style walls are lovely! The selection of glass wines that I mentioned as a recommended point is extensive! It's not just Spanish wines, but wines from all over the world. We started with bruschetta as a starter and toasted with CAVA! The daily specials were written on a signboard, making it difficult to decide what to order! When we ordered the carpaccio of fresh fish, they said, "Today, we recommend red shrimp, so we can make it 4 types." What a delightful suggestion! Of course, we went for the 4 types! I was amazed to see such fresh and juicy fish at a bar! We also ordered a salad with seasonal vegetables, which turned out to be colorful and abundant! It was more like a colorful salad than a green salad! The texture of carrots and daikon was great, and it was nice to be able to eat a lot of vegetables. We ordered the main meat dish first because it takes time. They observed our progress from behind the counter and served it at the perfect timing. This kind of consideration is really wonderful. We ordered a platter of two types, with Ezo deer and lamb chops! The red meat was incredibly beautiful! The Ezo deer had a firm gamey flavor yet was very tender and juicy. The lamb chops were refreshing with balsamic vinegar. Perfect with a rich and fruity red wine! The meat and wine were so delicious that we also ordered the tripe stewed in tomato sauce. We were recommended to try it with focaccia, so we did. The tripe stewed until it was tender... and the fluffy focaccia in pizza-like shape. The best combination! Lastly, we didn't have room for the pasta that everyone recommended... but we tried the homemade pancetta and leek omelette! This omelette was also fluffy like a cushion! Leeks and pancetta go well together! I want to try making it at home! For dessert, we had a rich chocolate terrine with vanilla ice cream. It was delicious until the end! After eating and drinking a lot, we had a very satisfying dinner. I definitely need to come back for the pasta that we missed this time! It's a very convenient restaurant that can be used for a casual drink and snack, a proper girls' night out, or a date. There were even three local grandpas who came, and you can feel the love for this place. They also offer takeout! If you're struggling to choose a restaurant in Ebisu, this is a place you can't go wrong with. Since it's small, making a reservation is best! Be sure to check it out!

During the day, I had to adjust my schedule a bit and happened to enter a store that caught my eye. After chatting with the staff about the menu, I decided to order the most popular dish, deer meat Bolognese. The fresh pasta only takes about 4 minutes to cook, so there's almost no wait. The texture is just right, with a nice chewiness, and the amount of Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top helps the Bolognese sauce stick perfectly. There's only one chef and one person handling both the dining area and washing dishes, but they work quickly and efficiently, so I felt at ease watching them. The counter has 11 seats, and there's a round table that can fit up to 4 people. Despite the small space, the seating is comfortable with clever storage solutions underfoot. I definitely want to come back at night.
