I entered a kebab shop along the Sobu Line before 9 o'clock. The shop had about 20 seats, and most of the tables were filled with lively foreigners. I wanted beef, but they only had chicken, so I reluctantly ordered a chicken kebab bowl. Payment was to be made later. I sat at a vacant counter seat and waited for a while. Kebabs are usually made and served right after ordering, but with back orders, the staff was handling everything alone, so I waited patiently. After a while, the chicken kebab arrived. I asked for less rice, but it still looked like a regular size. Well, there was nothing I could do once it arrived. I chose a mix of medium spicy and garlic sauce, which had a nice balance of flavors. The chicken lacked impact, but it was soft and easy to eat. It was a convenient way to fill up with some vegetables.

A shop located in a slightly hidden alley in Akihabara. I visited in the evening and ordered the Chicken Kebab Plate for 700 yen. The staff, who seemed to be Middle Eastern, welcomed me. There was no water service, and they didn't have silverware available, so I had to ask the staff to bring some. This may be a bit of a downside in terms of service, but if you think of it as part of the atmosphere, it's acceptable. The atmosphere may be a bit intimidating and there seem to be more tourists than locals, but you can eat inside, the prices are cheap, the portions are generous, and the food is delicious, so I recommend it.

On this day, I started re-reading the manga "The Red River" that I read in the past, which is a story from the Hittite era, so I felt like having Turkish food. When it comes to Turkish food near Kanda Station, Akihabara is the place to go! Even though it's mainly kebabs, Akihabara is known for its kebab joints, so I searched for one near the Kanda area and decided to visit this restaurant. The restaurant is located next to Tori King Keisuke. I arrived after 2 pm. As I entered the restaurant, it was so hot (*_*) because the air conditioning was not working properly. The tables were all full. I saw the owner, Mustafa, working frantically in the kitchen, so I told him I was dining alone and sat at the available counter seat. The atmosphere in the restaurant was quite authentic, with customers speaking languages other than Japanese and the place feeling quite worn out. Mustafa asked me to wait a bit for my order, so I went to pick up the menu myself. The menu had a variety of kebab options like kebab sandwiches and kebab wraps, but I was drawn to the Antep Special, which came with rice and French fries, a high-calorie combo, so I decided on the mix (850 yen) and waited for my order to be taken. It was so hot in there (^_^; probably because the air conditioning wasn't working properly, not because of the cooking. And in that heat, my glass of water didn't arrive for a while (laughs). I waited for about 10 minutes until my order was finally taken, and I was told that it would take some time to prepare the French fries. Since I had already waited so long, I decided to wait it out. When the Antep Special finally arrived, it was a plate with rice, French fries, kebab, and salad. I was so hungry from waiting that I started with the salad right away. The salad was made with greens, sliced onions, tomatoes, and pickles. Next, I tried the kebab. The mix was beef and chicken. The beef was meaty, and the chicken was tender and delicious. The kebab sauce I chose was spicy, but it wasn't that spicy. I think the garlic sauce might have been better. The French fries had cheese on them, which had a funky taste! What was it again? It reminded me of the taste of cheese I had when I was in America. Surprisingly, I love this kind of junky taste (^m^). The rice was cooked firm, and it went well with the kebab. While I was eating, I finally got a paper cup with a black liquid inside. I thought it was iced coffee, but it was flat cola. Yeah, it felt like the kind of cola this restaurant would serve. The high-calorie combo of rice and French fries turned out to be less filling than I expected, about 70% full. Men might prefer the large size. But kebabs are delicious after not having them for a while! When I went to the register after finishing my meal, Mustafa apologized for making me wait and said, "Please come again." I like the atmosphere of this kind of restaurant and thought the food was delicious. So I will definitely come back (^_^) Keep up the good work in Akihabara. Thank you for the meal.

During a lunch break while exploring Akihabara, I decided to try this highly recommended place instead of the typical kebab shops in the area. They had a variety of options besides kebab sandwiches, and I enjoyed their plate set which came with rice and was very filling. I also tried a drink called Ayran, which was a yogurt-like juice with a unique salty taste.

Antep Kebab is a kebab restaurant located in Harajuku, Tokyo. It is a shop where you can eat in, making it easy for even solo diners to visit. Takeout is also available. Their kebab wraps are unique, with a standard filling of meat and cabbage, as well as lettuce, tomato, potato, pickles, cheese, and olives, making it a healthy and different option compared to other kebab shops. Highly recommended. Thank you for the meal.

Located a 5-minute walk from Akihabara Station, this kebab restaurant offers seating for two at tables and at the counter. They serve kebabs, plates, and bowl dishes. You can choose from 6 different sauces and 3 types of meat. I went with beef, which apparently incurs an additional charge. Instead of water, they serve ginger ale as a complimentary service. The portion size was surprisingly generous and filled me up quite well. The amount of meat was average, but the sauce was very flavorful and plentiful. The price was reasonable at 650 yen. It's worth a visit every now and then.

Today, I felt like eating something junky. I wandered around Akihabara, consulting my stomach for lunch options. Suddenly, I was lured by the smell of grilling meat. I decided to have lunch at a kebab shop. There was a "Special" menu displayed outside, and the photo looked really delicious. I had to find out what made it special. I ordered and what arrived was a large plate with rice equivalent to two bowls, a generous portion of kebab, spicy yogurt sauce, and plenty of salad. On top of that, there were fried potatoes, adding to the specialness. Armed with chopsticks, I faced the challenge. The combination of yogurt sauce with kebab and white rice may seem odd at first, but it reminded me of the harmony in a ginger pork set meal with mayonnaise. It was surprisingly satisfying. This is a hearty and satisfying junk food special. Thank you for the meal! Keep up the good work, restaurants!

After finishing my meal and reading other people's comments, I discovered something called "Otsunami Kebab." You can enjoy a good balance of vegetables and meat in each bite. The price is similar to a sandwich. It seems like this menu is not specifically for kebab lovers. I couldn't resist and ended up stopping by again on my way home. This time, I tried the beef-only option. It was delicious, but not as juicy as I expected. Sandwiches and wraps seem to be slightly steamed inside, making them subtly juicy, while the beef in the Otsunami Kebab (slightly crispy) stands out more. There wasn't much excitement in the different fillings that came next in the Otsunami Kebab, which is understandable. Check out the 2021 Antep Kebab ranking here! 1. Kebab Wrap (juicy until the end, maximum volume) 2. Kebab Sandwich (best cost performance) 3. Otsunami Kebab Every visit leads to enjoyable conversations. I'll definitely come back!

Exploring Akihabara always starts with a kebab. When my stomach is empty and I walk around, I often get distracted by eye-catching advertisements and end up forgetting about shopping. Today, instead of my usual kebab sandwich, I tried a kebab wrap. The number of customers is still low due to the pandemic, but the taste remains delicious. The wrap had chicken first and beef later, so the real treat was in the second half. The beef was juicy and the fat dripped nicely, making it stand out from other places with dry beef. I recommend sitting at the counter to enjoy it properly, as it's hard to appreciate the harmony of the meat while walking. The sauce tends to spill, so be careful. The manager always greets me cheerfully in moderation (important) which adds to the pleasant experience. Thank you for the meal! Tokyo Kebab is number one! Next time, I'll definitely try the beef-only option!

This is a kebab shop located near Akihabara Station, towards the Shouhei Bridge direction along the elevated tracks of the Sobu Line. The shop is run by a cheerful guy from Antep (Gaziantep), known as the "city of gourmet" in Turkey, where many Turkish dishes originate. The shop offers kebab sandwiches starting from 450 yen and side dishes from 300 yen. The most popular item is the kebab rice bowl for 550 yen. The shop has a cozy interior with 5 counter seats and 5 tables for two. The atmosphere is lively, with maid staff waiting for takeout orders. I tried the kebab rice bowl and enjoyed the generous portion of chicken and vegetables. The owner mentioned the challenges faced during the pandemic but remained optimistic. It was a fun experience, and I hope the shop can overcome these tough times.

The kebab shop with delicious beef in Akihabara is always a battle against time and luggage before starting the battle, stop by this shop near Akihabara Station where you can sit and enjoy a delicious meal to gather power for the fight. The portion size is just right, not too filling. But the most important thing is that the beef here tastes like real beef, unlike other kebab shops where it tastes like tough chicken. Make sure to try the beef kebab here in Akihabara! P.S. The flat cola you get as a service might become addictive too!

The best and most affordable kebab shop in Akihabara. It was my first visit and the staff were friendly, offering a complimentary cola while I waited. Unlike other kebab shops in Akihabara where the staff can be loud and intimidating, the manager here had a gentle demeanor that was almost endearing. They shared about the high rent in the area and how convenient it is for raising children near the wife's family. It was comforting to be able to vent about anything, even while living abroad. I'll definitely come back again.

I had been watching a foreign Youtuber enjoying Middle Eastern cuisine so much that it made me crave it. Although the Youtuber was in Iran, I didn't know much about Iranian food, so I headed straight to a kebab restaurant for lunch today. I ordered a beef kebab rice bowl without hesitation. Yes, I planned to satisfy my cravings with this spiced meat and yogurt sauce. The kebab rice bowl that arrived was small but piled high. The addition of potatoes on top was a nice touch. The delicious beef and the tangy yogurt sauce satisfied my Middle Eastern food cravings. The bottom of the bowl was filled with a good amount of rice. A well-balanced and satisfying lunch. It was very delicious. This kebab restaurant is in a competitive area, but I hope they continue to do well. Thank you for the meal~

The cheerful owner is doing their best alone. The kebabs are delicious and come in generous portions, making it a great value. It's rare for a kebab shop to have such a spacious interior, so there's no need to eat standing on the street, which is a big plus. However, during lunchtime, there can be a crowd of customers, so the service may be a bit slow. Let's be understanding and patient.

Yesterday, I visited the newly opened Turkish kebab restaurant "Antep Kebab Akihabara Store". They had a special opening promotion where all items were priced at 300 yen each. I decided to try the appetizer kebab, which is usually priced at 450 yen, but was only 300 yen during the promotion. The kebab was made with chicken and had a good amount of cabbage and tomatoes. I chose the spicy sauce, but it wasn't very spicy. It would be great if they offered extra spicy options too. Akihabara has many kebab restaurants, and this one is a nice addition.
