High ceilings, stylish atmosphere. The exterior looks like a trendy boutique, but it's actually a cafe. I stopped by for tea after lunch. It's a relief to find such a stylish and quiet space when it's too hot to be outside. Surprisingly not crowded, which is good. The thick, high-quality hand towel was a nice touch. My friend mentioned a pleasant scent, but my nose didn't pick up on it. The baked goods and pudding in the display case were also stylish.

Chacott has taken over from Kashiyama after renovation, and although the seating has been reduced, the atmosphere is now quieter and more pleasant. I ordered a frozen cafe latte, which was a bit sweet due to the sugar, but perfect for summer. They also offer smoothies and lemonade, so it might be a good idea to get takeout.

The store was very stylish and beautiful from the outside, and there were seats up to the second floor. The atmosphere was spacious and relaxing, making it a very comfortable place to be. The burnt cheesecake was delicious with a strong flavor, and it was dense and satisfying. There were many other delicious looking cakes to choose from, so it was hard to decide. I would love to go back and try another cake next time.

I visited around 2 pm on Saturday and was able to find a seat relatively quickly as it wasn't too crowded. I had herbal tea, café latte, and Basque cheesecake. The herbal tea was a blend of several herbs and was delicious. The Basque cheesecake was very creamy and had a good portion size. The seating area by the window was bright and open, while the back of the shop had a nice atmosphere with black and pink tones. Both seating areas were great. There were power outlets at the counter seats, which was convenient for working. It seems that during busy times, there is a 60-minute time limit for seating. The variety of drinks and desserts was impressive and overall, it was a great experience!

In Daikanyama, there is a cafe with a very high ceiling and a bright, beautiful interior with sunlight streaming in. It is located next to a ballet supply store called Chacott. I tried a smoothie and a vegan chocolate cake, and the chocolate cake was rich and satisfying to eat.

I searched for a nearby cafe because I was a little thirsty, and I ended up finding one. They had a variety of snacks, but since I had just eaten dumplings, I decided to go for something refreshing and ordered the "Citrus and Strawberry Smoothie." I heard that the lounge on the 4th floor was open, so I went there, and it was an amazing space! It felt almost like having the place to myself, so I was able to relax and enjoy my drink. The smoothie was a bit different from what I had imagined. I didn't expect it to have milk in it, so it was a bit thick for a smoothie. I was looking for something refreshing, so it wasn't exactly what I had in mind, but that was my mistake, so it's not a problem. It wasn't amazing or terrible, just a strange-tasting smoothie.

■Access: 3-minute walk from Tokyu Toyoko Line Daikanyama Station
■Number of visits: First time
■Purpose: Coffee break with friends
■Overview: A cafe located on the first floor of the mixed-use commercial facility "Chacott DAIKANYAMA" in Daikanyama. The building also houses a ballet studio and apparel shops, offering a variety of health-conscious drinks such as smoothies. The interior is designed to allow natural light in, creating a naturally stylish atmosphere that is popular among visitors.
■Menu: In addition to coffee and tea, the drink menu includes a variety of soft drinks. The food menu ranges from sweets to main dishes. On this day, I ordered a large iced coffee (550 yen).
■Impression: While strolling in Daikanyama, I was drawn to the stylish building and decided to stop by the cafe inside. With the same name as the now-closed popular French restaurant "Coteau" in the same building, I had high expectations for both the atmosphere and the taste. The iced coffee I ordered had a strong roasted aroma, with a taste that hinted at the presence of charcoal. It had a good balance of bitterness and a satisfying overall taste. The pastries in the display case also looked delicious, so I would like to try them with coffee next time. Thank you for the meal.

Stylish cafe in Daikanyama ☕️【Tabelog 3.12】As of February 18, 2023 This shop near Daikanyama station has a stunningly stylish building that catches everyone's attention as they pass by! Coteau is primarily a French restaurant, but there is also a cafe on the B1 floor. I visited there this time. The exterior and interior were both overwhelmingly stylish and really nice. The French restaurant has been selected as one of the top 100 restaurants and has a very high rating on Tabelog, so I would love to go there again!! Definitely check it out when shopping in Daikanyama ☕️.... #Tokyo #Daikanyama #Cafe #French #TokyoGourmet #DaikanyamaGourmet #TokyoCafe #DaikanyamaCafe #Coteau #cafecoteau #StylishCafe #Tabelog #TabelogFan #TabelogPopularRestaurant #CafeLover #CoffeeLover #CafeLatteLover #CoffeeLover #SweetsLover #FrenchFoodLover #Foodie #Delicious #DeliciousFood #DeliciousRestaurantHere #A Certain Lunch on a Holiday #Salaryman's Food Diary #Salaryman's Holiday #Working Person's Holiday #CarefulLiving

There was a delicious gluten-free cake available. The seating area wasn't very large, but you can bring a stroller inside and there is an elevator. Everyone was ordering Basque cheesecake. The diaper changing area in the restroom was spacious and convenient.

Located about a 3-minute walk from Daikanyama Station. It is in the building where Chacott Daikanyama main store is located, and you can enter by going down the stairs from the ground level. Both drinks and sweets are satisfying. Despite its convenient location and atmosphere, it is not expensive and is beautifully made. It is perfect for couples or small groups to take a short break on the sofa seats.

A few minutes' walk from Daikanyama Station, there is a cafe located on the basement floor of a distinctive building. I remember it used to be KASHIYAMA DAIKANYAMA, but now it is operated as a cafe for the French restaurant Coteau. I ordered a canele, which costs 300 yen each. The outside was crispy and the inside was moist, with a sweetness that makes you want to pair it with coffee. It seems like it would be a nice addition to tea time. The downside is that the French restaurant on the upper floors is no longer there. There's something about the KASHIYAMA era that seemed more radiant for this place. The current operation is by Chacott, which sells ballet wear. It just feels different.

Cannele for around 300 yen and Green Smoothie for around 700 yen. The Green Smoothie was thick and delicious, with ingredients like kale and apple. The Cannele had a crispy outer layer and a soft inside, very tasty. We enjoyed them on the terrace seats on the 2nd and 3rd floors. It was not crowded on weekdays.

A cafe produced by Chacott, which deals with ballet dance supplies and operates ballet studios. It was around 12:30 on a holiday with about 2 groups of customers already there. There are five large tables for two near the entrance. Inside, there are five small tables for two in the back, and one small marble table under the stairs. The entrance area is bright with sunlight, but the back of the store has a slightly dim atmosphere. The mirrors are cute though. The Basque cheesecake comes in four flavors: plain, chocolate, pistachio, and orange. Basque Cheesecake Orange (tax included 900 yen) and Hot Coffee (tax included 480 yen) were ordered. The gluten-free Basque cheesecake is moist and has a smooth texture. It's rich and dense rather than gooey. The orange flavor has a slight bitterness, giving it an adult taste. Citrus flavors like this really go well with cheesecake. It's a bit pricey, but it's quite satisfying with a decent portion.

A stylish cafe located in the basement of a trendy building just a few minutes' walk from Daikanyama Station. It used to be a different cafe that I quite liked, but it seemed to have changed. There is also a restaurant called Koto in the same building, which is not too expensive and serves delicious food. The cafe that used to be there has now been taken over by Koto. I'm not sure what the relationship was between the two previously. The cafe has been renovated. You need to secure a seat first and then place your order at the counter. The seating capacity is not very large, and the tables are scattered throughout the floor. I was intrigued by the sofa seats on the floor above, but they seemed a bit unsettled next to the reception area. The sweets menu includes canelés, unique financiers shaped like canelés, cookie sandwiches, and four different types of Basque cheesecake. I tried the Orange Pistachio Chocolate, plain Basque cheesecake, and Cheese Cookie Sandwich with rum raisin. I also had a cafe latte. The Cheese Cookie Sandwich may not look special, but it was surprisingly delicious. The Basque cheesecake was light and refreshing, also very good. The overall taste was subtle and pleasant. The smoothies had various health benefits written on them, and there were many health-conscious sweets such as vegan and gluten-free options. By the time I left, I felt like I had lost weight.

It's just past 11 am on a regular day and the restaurant is not full, but there is a steady stream of customers coming in. The atmosphere is calm, with an open space resembling a courtyard. There is only one table available, so it's lucky if it's free. I had the Basque Cheesecake Plain for 800 yen and the Basque Cheesecake Orange for 900 yen. The Basque Cheesecake is gluten-free and deliciously creamy. I also had two Canelés for 300 yen each. They were crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. For drinks, I ordered a Regular Iced Tea for 500 yen and a Tall Cold Coffee for 550 yen. The drinks were served in cups for hot beverages.

A stylish café attached to the Chacott flagship store in Daikanyama, popular café KASHIYAMA DAIKANYAMA was renovated and reopened in March! You can also enjoy the popular Basque cheesecake there. There are four flavors of Basque cheesecake, and this time I chose plain and orange. The inside is creamy, and the surface has a nice burnt crust, creating a great contrast! Especially the orange flavor was refreshing and delicious. The canelé was crispy on the outside and slightly undercooked inside, perfect with coffee. I chose an iced drink because it was hot, but the hot cup sleeve was cute... and when I murmured about it, the staff kindly offered to put it in a hot cup even though it was iced. By the way, the seat I sat in was the only one on the terrace in the courtyard, so if the timing is right, you can sit there.

Cafe Coteau in Daikanyama is a cafe located in the same building as the French restaurant Coteau. It used to be called "KASHIYAMA DAIKANYAMA CAFE" but was renovated and reopened as "Cafe Coteau" this spring. The cafe has been downsized and now shares the space with an apparel shop, giving it a different vibe. The Basque cheesecake I had there before was delicious, so that was one of the reasons I visited again. The display case inside the cafe showcases cakes, pastries, sandwiches, and more, with a variety of Basque cheesecakes now available. I tried the pistachio Basque cheesecake, mango choux cream, and iced tea. The tea, which I believe is from TWG Tea in Singapore, has a lovely sweet aroma. The pistachio Basque cheesecake had a generous amount of pistachios and a rich cheese flavor, with a gooey center that I enjoyed. The mango choux cream was made with chantilly and custard cream, topped with fresh mango and mango sauce, creating a fragrant and delicious treat. The choux pastry was light and crispy, adding to the overall enjoyment. The cafe has transformed since my last visit, now offering a great spot for a quick break. I look forward to visiting again. Thank you for the meal.

"KASHIYAMA DAIKANYAMA CAFE" has reopened as "Cafe Coteau". The space is now smaller and the atmosphere is more casual.
- Strawberry Choux Cream: $6.50
Soft choux pastry filled with strawberry confiture, plenty of pastry cream, light chantilly cream, and sliced strawberries. The vanilla bean-infused pastry cream is delicious.
- Basque Cheesecake (Plain): $8.00
Creamy and rich cheesecake with a smooth texture. This is gluten-free.
- Freshly Baked Financiers (5 pieces): $6.50
Moist and rich financiers with a good mouthfeel.
- Blend Coffee: $4.80
A medium-roast coffee that is easy to drink. The small box for takeaway with financiers is cute and would make a great gift. I would like to visit again.
