☆ Location In Akiba Trim in front of Akihabara Station. ☆ How to use We visited for dinner on a Thursday, and by 6:30 pm, the restaurant was already full. Two groups that arrived before us were unable to get in. Good thing we made a reservation ^^; ☆ Atmosphere/Service Although it's an izakaya, the atmosphere is calm and somewhat upscale, maybe because the building itself is nice. It's easy for women to visit even by themselves. The seating arrangement is clever, with round tables in the middle and a second floor-like seating area that would be great for group gatherings. ☆ Items ordered ・Hatsu-ochi (chicken heart) ・Momokaburi (chicken thigh) ・Sori (chicken tail) ・Seseri (chicken neck) ・Okura maki (okra wrapped in pork) ・Kujou negi maki (green onion wrapped in pork) ・Potato salad ・Chicken liver teppanyaki ・Mentaiko and shiso tempura ・Chicken soboro rice bowl ・Hinai-jidori chicken and egg oyakodon ◯ The specialty yakitori offers various rare cuts. Hatsu-ochi, momokaburi, momosuji, etc., were new to me. I chose my favorites like sori. The grilling is on the firm side, but the quality of the meat makes it satisfying with a juicy umami flavor. Momokaburi, the softest part of the thigh, was particularly delicious. ◯ There is a wide variety of side dishes, all of which are appealing. I had a hard time choosing. The menu seemed to have items that go well with beer and sake, and sake is their specialty. Yakitori with beer followed by sake is the best combo! ◯ For the finale, we had the reliable chicken soboro and oyakodon. The oyakodon made with Hinai-jidori chicken eggs had a rich broth and a perfectly tender finish. After shopping in Akihabara, I visited the "Torimitsukuni Akihabara Akibatrim Store" that I was curious about. This shop is conveniently located near JR and other stations, right after exiting the station. The space between tables in the shop is just right, allowing you to enjoy a private atmosphere. Upon entering, the staff greeted me with a smile and guided me to my seat. I asked a few staff members for recommendations and they all provided excellent customer service! They had good knowledge of grilled chicken, mentioning that some rare cuts can only be obtained from one chicken, which got me excited as a grilled chicken enthusiast. When I asked about the seasonal sour drink, I was told it was pear, so I ordered it and it was delicious! When I complimented the drink, the staff seemed happy, which made me feel happy too. The recommended dishes I ordered were all fantastic. The "13 types of Torimitsukuni salad" I had first was a delightful mix with tartar sauce and eggs. The lettuce wraps had a nice harmony of the sweetness of lettuce and the seasoning of salt, pepper, and ponzu sauce. The rare cuts had a perfect balance of salt and sauce, making them dangerously delicious. Personally, I loved the thigh meat and the tail end, I could have eaten many more. For dessert, I had minced chicken rice. The gentle flavor of the chicken soup and the rich taste of the minced chicken made me very satisfied. Today's feast was in Akihabara! Exit the JR Chuo ticket gate and head to the building on the right, Akibatrim, on the 5th floor. Inside the restaurant, there are various seating options including a counter, tables, and traditional sunken kotatsu-style seating. The window seats offer views of the Sobu Line trains and surrounding buildings. We started with a toast of Mizore Frozen Sake Decanter (300ml) and Premium Grapefruit Juice. The Mizore Frozen Sake is the ultimate cold sake from Tamano Hikari in Fushimi. It starts off sherbet-like and gradually melts, allowing you to enjoy it at different stages. Delicious at any point! - Appetizers: Takiwara tofu and okra with sesame dressing, both refreshing dishes that evoke summer. The tofu made with soy milk and agar like a chilled agar agar was a unique experience. - Summer Selection: Freshly picked edamame from Niigata's Motaro Shoten. Rich flavor and wonderful aroma. It's refreshing and easy to drink with plenty of pear pulp. The highlight was the mentaiko and shiso tempura, it was the most delicious dish of the day! The tempura had a crispy texture, and the combination of mentaiko and shiso was fantastic. The potato salad with anchovy was also delicious with a soft-boiled egg on top. The assorted yakitori skewers were satisfying, with a good variety of chicken parts. The tsukune with raw egg was juicy and flavorful, perfect to pair with rice. The lettuce wraps with pork were a favorite, with the crispy lettuce and juicy pork creating a harmonious balance. We went to Akihabara for errands and finished our tasks successfully, so we decided to have a little celebration. We found a nice izakaya specializing in grilled dishes and decided to give it a try even without a reservation. We called and they said it was okay for up to 4 people, so our little celebration was set. The place is located on the 5th floor of Akiba Trim mall, right next to Akihabara Station central gate, just a minute's walk away, which was very convenient. We started with a toast with Ebisu Amber beer and some appetizers like tofu and green bean salad. The starters were grilled eel salad, 13-variety salad with Kamakura vegetables, seared fatty tuna with mustard sauce, and corn tempura. Then we moved on to grilled dishes and switched to sake, trying various cuts of chicken and vegetables wrapped in bacon. The highlight was the egg wrapped in pork, which was delicious and a must-try. We ended the meal with beef tongue and beef and rice bowl, and some of us chose the chicken tea pickles. Overall, it was a great izakaya with good value for money, and it was mostly filled with female customers. Highly recommended!

The results of my master's qualification exam finally came out, and guess what! I passed successfully...!! I searched for a place where I could drink the requested "Sapporo Ebisu Amber Draft" and made a reservation at this restaurant, and went there. It was definitely the right choice...!! Everything I ordered was delicious, and it turned out to be a great celebration. Located on the 5th floor of Akibatrim, the restaurant has a high ceiling and a very comfortable atmosphere. It is also very close to the station, so I could go there with peace of mind even on hot days. Everything was delicious, but what impressed me the most was the "Premium Liver" and the "Pork Belly Vegetable Rolls Tomato Rolls" and "Sweet Potato Crispy"...!! The "Uwajima Gold Sour" was a completely fruit-based sour. It had no sweetness from syrup, and was very satisfying for citrus lovers! "Appetizers: Takigawa Tofu, Green Bean Sesame Dressing" This Takigawa tofu was my first time trying it. It is a summer dish that resembles a waterfall, made by solidifying tofu or soy milk with agar and resembling a waterfall. ...It was delicious and I was trembling. This day was a lunch drinking party with an old friend. It must have been about 4 or 5 years since we last met. My friend made a reservation for us here. It's a yakitori restaurant located on the 5th floor of the shopping mall Akiba Trim near Akihabara Station. It's a place where you can drink during the day, so we decided to come here. First, we each ordered our favorite drinks. I had a Red Star beer: medium bottle @ 715 yen (all prices include tax). Sapporo beer is good. We also ordered some dishes such as: Chicken liver tekk at 539 yen, Beef tongue sashimi at 869 yen, 13 types of Koko Kuni salad at 759 yen, Assorted 5 skewers at 858 yen x 2, Chu-Hi at 440 yen, Lemon Sour at 539 yen. Since we were not seated by the window, there was no view to enjoy. Most of the customers were eating, and we were the only ones drinking. It was nice that there were no table charges or seating fees. The chicken liver tekk was seasoned with green onion and salt, with a slightly strong saltiness. The beef tongue sashimi was thin but decent. The 13 types of Koko Kuni salad included a variety of colorful vegetables such as lettuce, arugula, watercress, radish, mizuna, cucumber, onion, tomato, bell pepper, celery, etc. It was topped with homemade vegetable grated dressing. The vegetable cuts were small or fine, but the dressing was delicious. The assorted 5 skewers included bonjiri, sunagimo, furisode, thigh, and liver. Bonjiri and sunagimo were salted, while the others were served with sauce. It was nice to have the rare cut of furisode. The portion of meat was slightly small, but I enjoyed the bonjiri and furisode. The taste was decent overall. It was neither good nor bad. Being close to the station and having a slightly calm atmosphere were good points.

On Sunday, after 1 pm, I visited a relatively calm area of Akihabara, where it was raining. I easily entered the shop I was aiming for a yakitori bowl, but the signature dish of this shop, called the Kunitoshi Don, consists of two salt-grilled skewers. Although I had the impression that yakitori bowls are usually with sauce, I trusted their recommendation and ordered it. Of course, I also ordered a beer. The shop was about half full, so they started grilling the skewers quickly, and I received my bowl in about 10 minutes. Surprisingly, it came with oxtail soup, so I decided to start with the soup. It was a bit light in flavor, but it felt comforting to drink oxtail soup after a long time. Now, onto the bowl. Let's start with the salt-grilled skewers with wasabi on top. It was juicy and the wasabi added a nice touch. This makes the rice go down smoothly even without sauce. I also tried the seseri skewer with grated daikon, but it was average. The grated daikon was a bit overpowering. The yakitori with sauce was excellent. Overall, the portion size was a bit small, but it was a refined yakitori bowl. Thank you for the meal.

I used this place for a dinner date. The yakitori (especially the premium liver) and beef tongue sashimi are exquisite. The drinks are served promptly, and the staff work efficiently. If you sit at the counter, you can watch them cook right in front of you. Despite eating and drinking a lot, the bill was surprisingly lower than expected. The cost performance is so good that it's almost worrying.

I had heard that there were Eat Log points available in Akihabara during lunchtime, so I decided to search for a restaurant that accepts them. I found Akiba Trim, which indeed accepted the points, and they were open from 11:00, so I went there right away. The menu showed that I could use the points, and the price was a flat 1,000 yen. I ordered the Mitsunori Don, which included grilled chicken skewers, and it was delicious. Unfortunately, I didn't have a beer this time, but I will definitely come back for dinner next time.

This is a shop located in Akibatrim on the way to work. I had been curious about it for a while, but had not visited because it seemed like a chain store. On this day, I didn't want to wander around as I had fragile items (freshly baked Gâteau au Chocolat from a certain store), so I chose this place directly connected to the station. When I was guided to the counter, middle-aged men (although they looked younger than me) were having a small party. After that, customers kept coming one after another, and it seemed like they were being turned away without a reservation. It's a popular place, maybe due to the season as well. Because of this situation, I ordered everything at once. I ordered a bottled beer, leaf wasabi soy sauce pickles, white shrimp tempura, shiitake mushroom tempura, and a 5-skewer assortment of grilled chicken (rare cuts like chicken shoulder, chicken breast, etc.). I started with the quail egg appetizer and tofu, followed by the bottled beer. Sapporo Lager is good. The dishes I ordered were served one by one, and they all had strong flavors. The white shrimp (from Toyama) was relatively large and satisfying to eat. The main dish, the grilled chicken, was delicious! And the pieces were quite big. It goes well with beer, and it was a perfect match with the "Tamanohikari Yamahai" sake I ordered next. After finishing the meal, there was still some sake left (since it was decanted), so I ordered the squid with skin and sand guts (with green onions) as an additional dish, which is one of my favorites. My beloved dish arrived with a perfect cooking level. I immediately bit into the skin (which is why there is no piece left in the picture, sorry), feeling happy! It's nice to be able to go straight home feeling happy. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the 5th floor restaurant floor of Akibatrim after a long time for a lunch with my colleagues. The restaurant had a open layout with both counter and table seating options. There was even a raised tatami seating area near the entrance, providing a variety of seating choices. The highlight of this place was the tables by the window, offering a view of Akihabara. Although we were a group of 8, we unfortunately got seated in the middle without a window view. The lunch menu had 8 options, including daily specials and stylish plate options, with one fish dish included. I ordered the "Mitsukuni Don" for 1,000 yen, which I had tried before and enjoyed. The grilled chicken skewers (negima, sasami, seseri, tsukune) were all delicious, especially when paired with the flavorful rice and seaweed topping. The mini salad and chicken soup added a nice touch to the meal. The chicken skewers were grilled to order, which I appreciated. Some of my colleagues tried the oyakodon, which looked appetizing. I plan to return for dinner next time to enjoy the night view of Akihabara while savoring the delicious grilled chicken skewers.

I was drawn to the oyakodon and decided to visit. The perfectly half-cooked egg paired with the delicious chicken and rice on top made the oyakodon melt in my mouth in a very satisfying way. The mini salad with okra and leafy greens, as well as the flavorful chicken soup, were also delicious. I was very satisfied with the meal.

Located in a new and clean building directly connected to the Tsukuba Express, Akibatrim is not only a gourmet building but also offers a great view of the station and the streets of Akihabara. The bright interior with large glass windows allows you to enjoy the surroundings while dining. I opted for cold soft drinks to cool off and tried cranberry juice for its beauty benefits. The complimentary dish was tofu with rapeseed blossoms, a refreshing and unique dish. The 13-vegetable salad was fresh and delicious, made with Kamakura vegetables. The top-grade liver was sold out, but the well-done chicken was flavorful and smooth. The skewers were beautifully presented with a glossy egg yolk. The sweet potato fried potatoes were irresistible and generously portioned. The chicken soup that came with the meat rice bowl was a perfect way to end the meal. Overall, the small portions were just right, and the quality of the dishes at Torimitsukune in Chiyoda-ku, Kanda Sakumacho, was top-notch.

I had a meal in Akihabara! A friend who knows Akihabara well made a reservation for a delicious restaurant located right next to the station. It's called Akibatrim, so it's on the 5th floor of the building right next to the ticket gates. It's great because you can get there without getting wet in the rain. The restaurant is very stylish! There are many types of sake displayed, but the interior is stylish, and even though we went early, about 80% of the customers were women! The menu is a bit smaller than usual, but it wasn't a problem at all. Here's what we ordered: - Fresh tofu with grated vegetables - 13 types of Torikokoku salad - Hagi-oh kamaboko (fish cake) - Chicken liver skewers - Ginkgo nuts - Shiitake mushrooms - Premium liver - Tsukune (chicken meatballs) with raw egg - Fried yam potato - Sweet potato chips - Chicken broth mini ramen - Catalan dessert The vegetables were very fresh and delicious. We could choose from two types of dressings. I noticed on the way back that they use vegetables from Kamakura and pesticide-free hydroponically grown vegetables. The chicken and liver dishes were all delicious! I was very satisfied with the reasonable prices and delicious food! I want to go again!
