Tonight, I visited a Chinese restaurant located at a intersection after crossing the Kawagoe Kaido street by walking from the south exit of Tobu Tojo Line Narimasu Station. The prominent neon sign of Narimasu Daigyoza (Narimasu large dumplings) caught my attention. The interior of the restaurant was surprisingly small. I ordered the Narimasu Daigyoza, 3 pieces for 390 yen including tax, and the Tantanmen (spicy sesame noodle soup) for 740 yen including tax, which came with a free bowl of rice. The food was served in 7 minutes. Wait, this is not Tantanmen. I checked the menu again. Ah, this is not Tantanmen, it's Cantonmen. I must have misheard. The importance of repeating the order was felt! Although I could have corrected it by saying I wanted Tantanmen, the Cantonmen in front of me looked delicious, so I decided to go with it like an adult. The noodles were medium-thin, slightly curly, with a firm texture, but the wheat flavor was a bit weak for my liking. The sauce was thick, which I liked! The ingredients included shrimp, squid, egg, baby corn, pork belly, wood ear mushrooms, water spinach, Chinese cabbage, bamboo shoots, and plenty of ingredients. The Cantonmen, the noodles weren't to my liking, but it was delicious! Narimasu Daigyoza, indeed they are large in size. The filling mainly consisted of meat without garlic, but it was juicy without any strong flavors. The skin didn't stand out much. It was tasty, but I felt like it needed a bit more punch. Thank you for the meal! ★3.3
