Before a meeting in Narimasu, I decided to grab a bite to eat at a highly popular restaurant I had my eye on. When I arrived, the restaurant was fully booked. Despite not having a reservation, I was lucky enough to secure a seat at the counter as a previous customer left. The restaurant was constantly busy, with staff apologizing to those they had to turn away. During the hour I spent there, at least ten customers were unfortunately rejected due to the full reservations. It was truly lucky to have been able to walk into such a popular restaurant. As for the order, I tried the Narimasu specialty, the "large gyoza," along with three types of sweet and sour pork - the white, red, and eggplant versions. I also had deep-fried eggplant with dipping sauce, spring rolls, and stir-fried pea sprouts to finish. The "large gyoza" was delicious on its own, without any additional seasoning. The white vinegar-based sweet and sour pork was tasty, but the familiar refreshing flavor of the red version was my favorite. I enjoyed the crispy spring rolls with vinegar soy sauce and mustard, and the perfectly seasoned stir-fried pea sprouts were the highlight of the meal. This restaurant, to put it mildly, is perfection.

We offer creatively crafted dishes made with care. Despite this, the service is fast, so there is no stress. We also have small portion options to meet customer needs. The "drooling chicken" (small portion), large dumplings (4 pieces instead of the usual 3 upon request), sweet and sour pork, mustard greens, and pea shoots were all delicious. The Sichuan sesame noodle dish was not spicy but full of flavor. As a driver, I was happy to see bottled cola available. My husband and I left fully satisfied. We enjoyed every dish immensely.

We ordered a 3-hour all-you-can-drink course for 4 people at 7500 yen including tax. The shrimp chili and fried rice were delicious. The disappointing dish was the braised sea cucumber. The seasoning was too strong and there was a slight smell. Despite that, we were able to fully enjoy Chinese food for the first time in a while, so overall it was good.

At the restaurant Nakajockey Narumasa, I tried the thick-cut stewed pork belly and spicy tan-tan noodles with the famous Narumasa dumplings on the table. It tasted like drool chicken dumplings version and was delicious. The thick-cut stewed pork belly was a bit on the strong side. The tan-tan noodles were not quite to my liking, but it seems to be a popular dish at this very busy restaurant.

I thought it was delicious to eat the Nasumasa Daigyoza with plenty of spicy sauce. The items ordered were: Nasumasa Daigyoza (4.0), Inner Mongolia lamb skewers (3.1), and Shark fin rice porridge (3.2). The Nasumasa Daigyoza was tasty, with oil coming out when bitten into, possibly pre-fried in oil before being grilled. Adding lots of spicy sauce on the table made it even more delicious for me. The Inner Mongolia lamb skewers had a lot of cumin spice, but lacked the flavor of lamb and were a bit dry. The Shark fin rice porridge seemed to have very little shark fin, with a broth that seemed like it was made from powdered ingredients. At 980 yen, the content and price may need improvement. The restaurant seemed busy, possibly due to the popularity of the Nasumasa Daigyoza. I enjoyed it with extra spicy sauce, but I would like to try the normal version next time. I am interested in trying other menu items as well, so I would like to come back again.

Today's dinner is at Narimasu "Naisai Chufang". It's a step before authentic Chinese cuisine, with a different atmosphere and taste from typical Chinese restaurants. I recently visited for the first time to try their ramen. When I tasted the new sensation tantan noodles with a strong oyster aroma, I knew I would be coming back to this place. Last time I visited, I confirmed they had Hoppy, but to my disappointment, they only had "white Hoppy". Nevertheless, I ordered the white Hoppy and also the "saliva chicken - small (462 yen)". It was served quickly - steamed chicken on lettuce and watercress, mixed with fried garlic and chopped green onions in Chinese sauce. Perfect for a drink. After sweating in the sauna, cold dishes are just what I needed. Next, I debated between "Cantonese noodles (873 yen)" and "hot and sour soup noodles (890 yen)", but I decided on the latter for more excitement. It arrived in 5 minutes - the noodles here are fast. The tantan noodles I had last time had a unique oyster flavor, how would the hot and sour soup noodles compare? I took the first bite and was surprised by the strong black vinegar taste. It was like miso ramen with added chili oil, but the flavor was sour. The toppings included thinly sliced pork, wood ear mushrooms, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, and watercress. After finishing the noodles and toppings, I poured all the black vinegar from the small pot on the table into the soup, making it tangy. I felt my body soften and decided to leave. Next time, I'll try the dumplings and Cantonese noodles. When I paid the bill, I was shocked - it was 2,749 yen! It seemed a bit expensive. The Hoppy set for 520 yen might be the reason for the high price.

Today's dinner is at "Saisai Kitchen" in Narimasu. I have been curious about this Chinese restaurant that boasts about its "Narimasu Giant Gyoza." I only had 4 pieces of kushikatsu in my stomach, so I knew it was risky, but I decided to finish with ramen. I have already tried many famous ramen shops in Narimasu, so I wanted to explore a new place. There are plenty of ramen specialty shops, so I decided to look for a Chinese restaurant. I remembered there was a restaurant near Kushikatsu Tanaka that featured "Giant Gyoza" as their signature dish. When I searched on Tabelog, I found a variety of noodles on the menu. The "Cantonese noodles" looked delicious, but I decided to go with the "Tantanmen (815 yen)." They also offer a free bowl of rice. After waiting for 3 minutes, the dish was served. It was surprising how quickly it arrived. The strong aroma of oyster hit me. This was my first time trying Tantanmen with an oyster flavor. The toppings included minced meat, green onions, and boiled Chinese cabbage. The basics. What was not basic was the oyster flavor. I took the first bite eagerly. It had a strong oyster flavor rather than sesame. This was a new taste for me. The restaurant is run by energetic staff from the continent who speak broken Japanese. It seems like a place where you can experience authentic continental cuisine. They also offer a variety of appetizers for under 500 yen and even serve Hoppy. I might have to visit this place multiple times.

Located one street off the Kawagoe Kaido, on the same street as "Suzuhisa" from the other day, is the continental-style Chinese restaurant "Saisai Chufang" in Narimasu. They offer small and half-size options on their table menu, perfect for solo drinkers. I ordered the "Drooling Chicken (small)" which had a mild level of spiciness, along with some chili oil on the side for an extra kick. I also chose the "Inner Mongolian Lamb Skewer" with 3 skewers, and the "Signature Narimasu Big Gyoza" which was served in a jumbo size of 12 centimeters, surpassing the usual 5-6 pieces found in other restaurants. These dishes, each priced at 390 yen, paired perfectly with a cold beer.

Tonight, I visited a Chinese restaurant located at a intersection after crossing the Kawagoe Kaido street by walking from the south exit of Tobu Tojo Line Narimasu Station. The prominent neon sign of Narimasu Daigyoza (Narimasu large dumplings) caught my attention. The interior of the restaurant was surprisingly small. I ordered the Narimasu Daigyoza, 3 pieces for 390 yen including tax, and the Tantanmen (spicy sesame noodle soup) for 740 yen including tax, which came with a free bowl of rice. The food was served in 7 minutes. Wait, this is not Tantanmen. I checked the menu again. Ah, this is not Tantanmen, it's Cantonmen. I must have misheard. The importance of repeating the order was felt! Although I could have corrected it by saying I wanted Tantanmen, the Cantonmen in front of me looked delicious, so I decided to go with it like an adult. The noodles were medium-thin, slightly curly, with a firm texture, but the wheat flavor was a bit weak for my liking. The sauce was thick, which I liked! The ingredients included shrimp, squid, egg, baby corn, pork belly, wood ear mushrooms, water spinach, Chinese cabbage, bamboo shoots, and plenty of ingredients. The Cantonmen, the noodles weren't to my liking, but it was delicious! Narimasu Daigyoza, indeed they are large in size. The filling mainly consisted of meat without garlic, but it was juicy without any strong flavors. The skin didn't stand out much. It was tasty, but I felt like it needed a bit more punch. Thank you for the meal! ★3.3

Today's lunch was at a Chinese restaurant near Narihirabashi Station. They had a variety of lunch menu options, but I decided to go with the safe choice of the daily special set meal. First, they served soup, salad, and dim sum. The light egg drop soup was delicious as always. The dim sum was probably shrimp dumplings, and they were also tasty. Then, the main dish and rice were served. The main dish was sweet and sour pork. It's a common menu item at Chinese restaurants for lunch, but it had been a while since I last had it. I started with the cabbage, which was soft and coated in sauce, making it easy to eat with the rice. In addition to cabbage, there was pork and bell peppers in the dish, and they were all delicious. It's a popular menu item for a reason - overall, it was a great lunch option.

I came to this restaurant because I was doing GOTO Eat and was looking for a nearby place to eat. The interior of the restaurant is very clean. The counter is separated from the seats by a large vinyl sheet, so there is no resistance even if someone sits right next to you. I received a hot towel and looked at the menu. There are quite a variety of dishes available. The most popular noodle dish is the tantanmen. Today, I ordered three items. The Narimasu jumbo dumplings are really big and filled with plenty of ingredients. The size made me wonder at first if I had ordered too much. It was a very satisfying and hot dish. If you order other noodle dishes, I think you will be full with three items. The Inner Mongolian lamb skewers have a crispy surface and a chewy texture, with a variety of spices that make it delicious. You can eat a lot of these! The shark fin rice bowl looks beautiful and has a gentle flavor that is easy to eat. It also has a good portion size. It comes with soup. The prices are clearly reasonable. I thought it was a great value to be able to eat these dishes as a local Chinese restaurant. GOTO Eat was a great success just by discovering this place.

This is a Chinese restaurant with a very energetic staff member who appears to be from the local country. They offer a variety of rice and noodle dishes that are familiar to Japanese people. It's a great place to stop by for a quick Chinese meal during lunchtime.

I visited during lunchtime on a weekday in April. I ordered the daily lunch special, "Yurinchi Set Meal A" for 790 yen. The dim sum included in the set was shrimp shumai. The Yurinchi dish had a surprisingly large piece of chicken, cut into easy-to-eat pieces and served on a bed of fresh vegetables, making it very filling. The texture was crispy and delicious. The sauce was flavorful and to my liking, but after eating, I found myself quite thirsty in the afternoon. The value for money during lunchtime here is amazing!

[February 2019 revisit] I revisited during a weekday lunchtime. This time, I ordered the "Ankake Yakisoba Set" (850 yen). The set came with dim sum, salad, and soup, and on this day, the dim sum was shaped like a panda! It was so cute, and I was happy that I happened to visit on this day. (Please note that the dim sum that comes with the lunch set is chef's choice, so you can't choose.) The ankake yakisoba was a bit softer than I prefer in terms of the noodles, so I didn't absolutely love the taste, but it was packed with ingredients like squid, quail eggs, Chinese cabbage, shrimp, baby corn, carrots, black fungus, and bamboo shoots, which gave it a satisfying texture.

Exiting from Exit 4 of Naka-Meguro Station, walk in the opposite direction of the Tobu Tojo Line towards the south, and you will find a small building on the left before the traffic light. There is a Chinese restaurant with a prominent sign that says "Daigyoza" (Big Dumplings). I visited during lunchtime on a weekday. The restaurant has tables that can seat about 6 people. I was surprised by the fact that "La Mumei Ookami" allowed smoking even during lunchtime, and I was disappointed to find out that this restaurant also allows smoking during lunch. Lunch hours are from 11:30 to 14:30 (last order), with prices ranging from the cheapest "Daigyoza Set" (3 pieces for 750 yen) to the most expensive "Cantonese Noodles" (915 yen) (all prices include tax). I decided to order the "Daily Special Set" for 790 yen. The main dish for the day was "Chicken with Soy Sauce Glaze." The set also came with salad, dim sum, and soup. The salad consisted of lettuce, watercress, and bell pepper with a creamy dressing. The soup was egg drop soup with carrots. The dim sum was a small but tasty pork bun. The "Chicken with Soy Sauce Glaze" dish was a generous portion with over 8 pieces of chicken in a soy sauce glaze with bell peppers, onions, carrots, and bamboo shoots. The rice portion was also generous, and I found myself finishing it all despite intending to eat less. The restaurant offers a lunchtime stamp card with rewards like a free drink with 5 stamps and a free lunch with 10 stamps. Overall, the lunch was a good deal for those with a hearty appetite. The food was tasty, but it would have been even better without the smoking allowed in the restaurant.

A Chinese restaurant located at the south exit of Narimasu Station. The specialty Narimasu dumplings were large, juicy, and very delicious. The tantanmen had a perfect balance of spiciness and sweetness, and even the soup was tasty. The prices were reasonable, and I would like to come back to eat again. Thank you for the meal.

I had some business in Narimasu and ended up staying until dusk. While looking for a place to have dinner, I asked a local resident for recommendations and decided to visit a small restaurant located on a corner along the bus route. The restaurant had a clean and cozy atmosphere with a counter and about 10 booth seats. Although there was no parking lot, there were several coin-operated parking lots nearby, so parking was not a problem. For this visit, I ordered stir-fried garlic water spinach (a seasonal menu item), mapo tofu, the restaurant's famous jumbo dumplings, and a large serving of white rice. The mapo tofu had a strong authentic flavor with Sichuan pepper, although I personally wished it had a bit more spiciness. The stir-fried garlic water spinach was cooked perfectly with a nice crunchy texture, and the soy sauce-based garlic sauce was delicious. The combination of mapo tofu and garlic water spinach with the large serving of rice seemed like it would never end! The jumbo dumplings arrived a bit late, but they were huge! They were about 15cm in size. I enjoyed them with homemade chili oil and vinegar, and the generous amount of meat juice inside made me want to scoop it up with the rice (but I refrained due to the amount of rice). There were many other menu items I wanted to try, so I look forward to finding the time to visit again (which means I need to find another reason to visit Narimasu... haha). Since I was driving, I couldn't order any alcohol, so I did not include a rating for "drinks" in this review.
