I arrived at 13:00 on Sunday and was seated without waiting. I ordered the Fish and Chips. The fish was thick and delicious! The potatoes were lightly seasoned and tasted great. The Margherita pizza was also delicious. The Carbonara with corn? This was a taste I've never had before and it's addictive! I don't go to Tokyo often, but I want to visit this restaurant again!

I had some errands in Ikebukuro and stumbled upon a bar that was open for lunch called Fish Kin, located in the basement. It was an Italian bar with a lovely atmosphere. We started with a 500 yen pate as a starter. They had various types of lemon sours, so I chose the bitter one. It didn't taste much like a lemon sour, but it was delicious. We then had 5 glasses of red wine, a cheese platter for two for 1,760 yen, corn fritters for 780 yen, an ice cream platter with grape and peach flavors for 520 yen, a chocolate gâteau for 580 yen, and a white peach mousse for 580 yen. The total bill for two people was 10,888 yen. The desserts were perfect with the wine. It's great that they are open for lunch!

I visited around 7:00 pm on a regular day. I made a reservation, but the counter and table seats were already almost full. I didn't see anyone dining alone. I sat down and ordered various items from the menu. They had beer, sangria, and reasonably priced glass wines. The food was delicious, so I ended up eating a lot. The appetizer was terrine, which was normal. The oysters were particularly delicious - creamy and no fishy smell. The tuna and avocado tartare was a tasty snack with a sticky texture. The sautéed sweetfish had a unique summer-like bitterness. The aqua pazza had a great broth, and even though the soup was salty, I finished it all. The crab and seaweed peperoncino didn't have much crab flavor, but the combination of seaweed and al dente pasta was excellent. Finally, I had a dessert platter, and the white peach sorbet was refreshing with a lovely peach aroma. The food is delicious. I think it's a great place to enjoy drinks or meals with friends.

However, the price has gone up compared to before, which is understandable, but the carpaccio was disappointing. I really wanted to eat pasta in Ikebukuro. I was worried about being able to get in without a reservation, but we were able to get in early ☺️ Our plan was to eat a little pasta and then have some drinks with friends, but the pasta and pizza were so delicious that we ended up eating everything! The restaurant, UOKIN, had a very stylish interior that didn't feel like a typical izakaya at all. I want to go back again! The only downside was that it was really cold inside the restaurant... - Seafood carpaccio with fresh oysters, tuna, bonito, octopus, tamagoyaki, and amberjack. The sashimi with dressing is delicious. The oysters are especially tasty and the bonito is fresh with no fishy taste.
- The grilled oysters are so good, we ordered more. They are plump and juicy.
- Fried young ayu fish that you can eat whole. Small but full of flavor.
- Fried corn that is crispy.
- Crab and seaweed spaghetti. The seaweed adds a nice touch, creating a tea-infused flavor. A good way to finish the meal. They offer a variety of lemon sour drinks. We got pretty drunk.

It's nice that they serve throughout the day, especially when some restaurants close during lunchtime. It seems like a good place for daytime drinking as most people were having alcohol. I ordered pizza, pasta, and seafood carpaccio. The fish was not particularly fresh, and the pasta was a bit on the salty side (probably to go with the alcohol), so it was just okay. Personally, I prefer Fish Kin. I was a bit disappointed when the bill came to 6,000 yen for lunch.

While enjoying a meal, I wanted to make travel plans, so my smartphone was essential. The restaurant was located in the basement and when I tried to use my phone there was no signal at all. I panicked and asked the staff, who informed me that there was free wifi available. I was saved. I almost became the worst kind of customer, leaving after making a reservation... I will make sure to research properly in the future.

- White Liver Pate: 780 yen. It's so sinful...smooth and rich without any unpleasant smell. The amount of pate served with 4 baguettes is so generous that it brings happiness. Nuts and figs are also included, making it a perfect set for drinking.
- Seasonal Vegetable Smoked Caesar Salad: 1,080 yen. I couldn't find any vegetables on the menu, but my companion pointed it out. The smoked bacon and plenty of Parmesan cheese made the vegetables disappear into my stomach. The potatoes were fluffy and delicious.
- Cheese Omelette: It was creamy and delicious, but slightly salty.
- Pizza: Half & Half Quattro Formaggi and Bismarck. Sometimes when you order a half & half pizza, certain combinations are not available, but in this restaurant, any combination is possible. The Quattro Formaggi pizza uses Mozzarella, Gorgonzola, Taleggio, and Parmigiano cheeses with honey on top. Lately, whenever I eat pizza, I always order the Bismarck. I love the runny egg. It also had my favorite Bolognese sausage on top, making it the best. The total bill was around 7,800 yen. I was originally planning to go to a nearby Saizeriya, but found out they had an 80-minute limit, so I made a last-minute reservation here. It turned out to be very satisfying. With a reservation, you can stay for up to 2 hours, allowing you to finish your plans, but our conversation went off track and we ended up going to Starbucks later.

I went to a bar in Ikebukuro for a work celebration on a Friday. It was crowded everywhere because it was Friday, but for some reason, this place was not so busy, so lucky me! I had tuna tartare, a seafood platter, mushroom salad, and garlic shrimp. I was so full that I couldn't even touch the garlic shrimp, but the seafood was delicious! And it was all reasonably priced, around ¥1,200. It's a great place to casually drop by when you feel like it.
